I shop at j.c. Penney in moline, illinois. The employees there are wonderful. A young man named Tom, red hair. Is one of the most personable sales clerks ever. A real customer service asset to j.c penney .

I made a purchase with JCPenney's two days ago which was Christmas. Within minutes of making the purchase I had changed my mind and wanted to cancel. Of course no link to cancel. Research the website and it said you have 30 minutes to cancel your order and the only way to cancel is to call. I called to find out the company is closed. How convenient that they only allow 30 minutes to cancels and they are closed. Next step I send an email, again within the 30 minutes timeline. Attached to the email was a copy of the receipt. Next day I contine to call and never was able to get a hold of anyone. Now it's two days later and I finally get a response from my email which claims they can not open my attached due to security!! They now request my name, address, phone number and order number. All of this information they already have. Next I called again and went to a different dept and was able to talk to a girl name Andredn. She didn't seem to understand the problem which I had to keep repeating. All she could do was forward an email that I was dissatisfied. Asked for manager, talked to Keyonna, more of the same couldn't help because it has been over the 30 minutes. She keep yelling at me that when I placed the order it was Christmas and she was allowed to spend time with her family and she wouldn't let me talk as she was ranting on about her family. I tried to tell her that was my point since no one was their I should be allotted more time to cancel since they were close. She hang-up on me. Next spoke to Amber in the corp office and she said it had already shipping but she be willing to send me shipping label which will cost me $8. It is a nightmare dealing with JCPenneys. I will be spending a letter to their CEO Marc Rosen.

Place an order never received anything I order and wouldn’t give me a refund for my order. Customer service was absolutely terrible and the company will take your money not guarantee a refund or delivery. Spare yourself and don’t use them they are thief’s.

Ordered a pair of jeans recently. They shipped the wrong size and style instead of what I actually ordered. After a chat with a rep, they said they would send me a free UPS label to ship the pair of jeans back to them, plus a new order for what I actually ordered. I have yet to recieve said label, and apparently the new pair of jeans is lost in the mail! They told me to wait it out till Jan 4th before filing a claim for another refund. I'll just shop at Kohls.com. sucks because I like the Arizona brand jeans. You have lost a customer in me, and it's no wonder your business is failing.

I1 Star is too Much!1 I ordered Christmas Pajamas the day after Thanksgiving. Received a shipping notification - shipped with Lasership. From past experiences with them I knew they were bad. For three weeks it said the package was in my County and had not been delivered. Then all of a sudden it says the package was delivered on Dec 9. This is Dec 16. What?? I checked Ring there was no delivery. I call JCP Customer Service. They say Lasership says it was delivered so in order for you to get your $$ back you must file a police report. What?? If it was never received what am I reporting??? Customer Service on either Side WAS absolutely no help. I will NEVER SHOP with them again.

No one working the floor could tell me if I could use a coupon on the merchandise. The 4 cashiers were chatting taking selfie’s and only one was working. One cashier said, “I have a crazy lady on the line…I just can’t deal with her.” Some customer service! Store at the Rum in San Antonio

Hi everyone I never write reviews but I’m writing this one to inform future customers of JC pennies I ordered watches for my grandsons way before Christmas November 11 to be exact pay for them had issues with them not being delivered called customer service several times only to be told that they would look into the matter and refer it to upper management and that upper management would get back to me for management never got back to me no one ever got back to me I called UPS I even wrote the CEO of UPS and they offered to pay for my missing watches even though it wasn’t their responsibility I contacted the Customer care manager at UPS Mary Boggs she never even attempted to get back to me about this matter I have received a case number a tracking number and order number and still have no watches no one cares Add JC Penny’s. I was raised on shopping at Penny’s because of the value they gave their customer’s And I have tried to pass that on to my granddaughters no more I will never shop at JCPenney’s again and I will make sure that my grand children never shop there either, I am making this decision because they treated me like a nobody like my grand children’s Christmas did not even matter to them terrible store terrible customer service terrible CEO terrible customer center manager shame on you all shame on you are

I ordered a pantsuit online as I have done many times before. I did need it for Christmas. On 12/20/21 the package arrived. It was not a pantsuit however. It was a turquoise bra. It was labeled on the plastic bag as the pantsuit but there was a mistake. I called jcpenny.com customer service. They would do nothing to rectify their mistake and told me if I wanted a refund any time soon I must go to the store to return it. This is totally unacceptable for me since I ordered correctly. Needless to say I went to the store to return the bra for credit on the price of my pantsuit. I will NEVER shop with jcpenny again. They lost a good customer.

Horrible experience. Bought some necklaces online on 12/2/21. Kept saying online processing. So I went ahead and called customer service on 12/14/21, did the automated option, said my order was shipped. Well called back next day and talked to a person at customer service said that it was shipped and should be here by 12/16/21. Come 12/16/21 I get an email stating my order was canceled due to no more stock of item. How the hell is it canceled if it had already been shipped??? Call customer service again to ask that very question. All she can say is sorry that happened.. Maybe they shouldn't lie to their customers saying something is shipped but it's really not. So beyond irritated!!!

I just bought the most beautiful Effy brand ring at JCPenny in the Wyoming Valley mall Rose was extremely kind & helpful (not to mention witty & an overall pleasant employee!) I highly recommend asking for Rose if you have any questions or are looking to purchase a piece of jewelry for yourself at this JCPenny branch! :)

Customer service is a joke. I had to call three times and never got connected to a supervisor. Also they use Ontrac for delivery and my package was delayed 5 days. It sat in the local phx office for 5 days

Cannot locate my package. Keeps saying “in transit” but REFUSING to refund my money. Called everyday with no resolve. Keep telling me to wait more days. SCAMMED OUT OF ALMOST $200 DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY

Wrong item delivered from Black Friday online purchase. Customer service is useless and asks the buy to bring the item to one of the stores to return and re-order. CS rep at the store was ignorant and arrogant. Does not know what to do with the issue I had. A supervisor stepped in and placed the order but now the shipping status keeps showing 'in progress. The worst shopping experience in my life. It is no surprise that the stores are closing. Never buy anything from the store.

I made a purchase to be send before Christmas... the shipping address was wrong.. they shipped within 24 hrs of me placing the order. They told me the store has no way of changing the shipping address once shipped to call ups to make the change... I spoke the 5 reps after waiting on hold 40+ minutes... only for ups to tell me I cannot make the change, the store has to make the change to the shipping address... so basically the order should be sent to who knows where because Jcpenney nor UPS can make a change to shipping address once the order is shipped... YES THIS STORE HAS GOOD DEALS BUT THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SHIPPING POLICY... OH THE 4TH REP I SPOKE WITH SAID HE WAS GOING TO HELP TO CHANGE THE SHIPPING ADDRESS... PUT ME ON HOLD..CONNECTED ME TO UPS THEN DISAPPEARED OFF THE CALL..

12/12/2021- I had an appoitment for my kids to have photos done , it was schduled for 12;15pm Rushed my kids out of the house to get to the appoitment in time . there was a family getting photographed , a family checking out and two other familes waiting. The family that was getting photographed came out around 1230 and they then prepared for the next family to come in which at this point it was almost 1pm . so is sat down and their was still another family ahead of me so i asked how long have they been waiting and she said for over an hour now. so we walked the entire mall came back and there still wasnt any progress . at this point it was almost 2pm . so i said to the ladies at the conter i am canclling my appoitment i will rescudle at a latter date . why make an appoitment if you cant take someones pictures at that time and if you couldnt do that all in one day you should have started to call people so you didnt have people waiting hours to be phto graphed HORRIBLE SERVICE .

Sent me the wrong order and won’t make it right! Your customer service is a joke and wants to make it 21 questions in hopes you won’t have to send me what I paid for! I send u the order number and name then u need more stuff from me? I placed the order WITH YOU GUYS. Want me to ship and send it to me too? Should I get paid for doing your guys job? How about u send me my order for my kids. Jc Penny is a joke and I won’t be ordering again

I will Advise people don’t order with JCPenney because I ordered a shark vacuum where it says it was delivered and I called them and told them I did not receive it they told me to file a police report so I told them I don’t have where ,when and who .

Sent me the wrong order . I’m 8 months preganang and had to lift in a heavy order I did not order and take time out of my day to go get a shipping label printed . I ordered a comforter.
