Disgraceful service from beginning to end!!! LIES LIES LIES Sent a faulty car which I tried to return within the first week. They lied to me stating if I get a report from any garage confirming that the issues exists that the will return the vehicle. Report provided and they later stated I was wrongly advised and it needs to be inspected by Mazda. It was then inspected by Mazda. They found all the faults and “fixed” them. I took the car home and it still had faults. I contacted to lease plan again who stated I need to take the car back to Mazda again. I took the car back and same process. They say the car is fixed and the same issues persist. The customer service kept assuring me they will accept the return but instead of accepting the return of they kept making me go back and forth to the dealer many times. Then 1 years of back and forth passed and Leaseplan state they cannot accept the return because iv had the car too long and close down my case. I keep this useless car for 2 years and then request and early termination. Instead of giving me a discounted termination fee as pretty much all leasing companies do, they charge me full whack. I would never use this company again. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to deal with them. The customer service is disgraceful and their agents from lower to management level are liars!

Leaseplan sent me a car in July - following a 4 month delay, but that's whole other story. On Monday 13th November, I got a puncture on a pothole. I called their Tyre Line, confident it would be resolved easily, particularly as I paid extra for a full service plan though my broker, Motofinity. I got a mobile tyre replacement booked in for Tuesday 14th. I thought 'job done' and cancelled my meetings so I could stay at home with the car. No one turned up on Tuesday. I waited in all day. I rang on Tuesday evening and was told someone would get back to me. They didn't. On Wednesday, I rang again and was told they would come that afternoon. The garage rang and were incredibly helpful. They told me that Leaseplan had sent a cancellation for my repair. They queried why I didn't have wheel locking nuts. At this point we ascertained that I did have locking nuts, Leaseplan had actually sent me a car without any tools to remove the tyre. In fact, there was a hole in the boot where a toolkit should have been. As I had never even lifted the boot carpet and the car had never been into a garage, I knew that this was nothing to do with me. After many more calls and back and forth, to the car manufacturer, I ascertained that I couldn't even get a replacement wheel nut removal tool, as the car wasn't supplied with the right code to order this (it should be in the toolbox) By this point, I had taken all of Wednesday off work. I rang Leaseplan and they told me to go to Halfords!! For a bespoke tyre tool that needed to be ordered from Vauxhall with a unique code that I don't have! I am now stuck with a car that has been out of action for 3 days and I don't see any resolution in sight. I can't go to any meetings. My business is suffering. I have been trying to get hold of someone at Leaseplan who can help. There is literally no Customer Service option in their phone system. Everyone I speak to tells me it's not their department and either transfers me or cuts me off. Eventually the fifth person told me it was option 7 on the menu. There is no option 7!! I tried it anyway - and I have now been on hold for 30 minutes. I would strongly suggest that you avoid Leaseplan at all costs. As a business owner, I have wasted hours and hours of my time, from when I first spoke to them in April, to now in November. I could add many other points to this review - for example, they totally screwed up my invoicing - it took me multiple emails to sort this out. Or that every time I ring them, they 'can't find' my car registration number in the system. Or that even when they do find my car reg, they don't seem to have any record of any previous conversations with them. If I sound frustrated, it's because I literally don't know where to go from here. I am hoping someone will see this review and call me. Please!!!

Always check who is financing your car lease, if it's Leaseplan run a mile. These are the worst company I have every had to deal with. They cancelled the pick up of my car 2 months running and charged me for 'keeping' the car. They are refusing to deal with my complaint and have added the 'missed' payments to my credit file and decimated my credit rating. I've had to report to the FCA.

I've been with them for over 10 years and this far exceeds the worst managed company I've ever dealt with in my life. You cannot speak to anyone, you cannot leave a message and phone number and expect a return call, even in dire situation you cannot get a hold of anyone. I have called different departments 15 times today and still have not got to speak to someone

Överlät mitt leasingavtal och Leaseplan var fantastiska hela vägen. Snabba svar på frågor och funderingar och själva överlåtelsen gick väldigt fort.

PLEASE READ BEFORE MAKING PAYMENT YOU TRULY BELIEVE IS FRAUDULANT OR UNFAIR For those who have been scammed like we have -before paying anything over for extortionate and unfairly charged wear and tear (I've read through all these reviews saying the same thing, with someone's bill being extremely high of £2400!!!!) Firstly, cancel your direct debit. Then, let them know you are disputing the fees and will not be making any payments until you are shown evidence of photos and videos BEFORE the vehicle was driven away, with photos evidently showing that the vehicle is still present at your premises and before being driven away. Without this evidence, they cannot prove the damage wasn't caused after it was driven away. I stress these photos should be taken BEFORE the vehicle has been driven away, this is within your rights. Please take videos and photos yourself and I mean everywhere, including the inside gaps of your car doors (where they think you won't check and may even add in marks to significantly increase your fee). Please be careful and please take this further if necessary, like we will be doing. The only way to fight against unfair treatment like this is to fight within your rights. If they aren't willing to listen, the Ombudsman have been really helpful and will talk you through the process of issuing a complaint should you need to.

Disgraceful company. Do not ever use… they need to be put out of business by boycotting them. I’ve been a loyal customer (having had 3 vehicles of them) but never again due to their fleecing wear and tear policy (BVRLA guidelines, that only suits lease companies). My car was returned 7000 miles under contract miles and in excellent condition. Spurious wear and tear charges made (that was genuine wear and tear after 53000 miles and 4 years of use). Despite my protestation, they would not listen and did not take into account that they would be making more money than originally calculated at resale (due to the substantial lower mileage). Very quick to inform you of and take money from you but weeks to reply to complaints… I had to contact them 3 times before someone responded to me. Shocking!

Scammers. They charged an overly ridiculous amount for wear and tear, £524, which we don't believe existed before it went back. Reason being we took the car to be professionally valeted and any minor wear and tear fixed to like brand new standard before returning. The deep white scratches that randomly appeared on the inner of the back of the car, I'm genuinely shocked at the thought they've added these, no one sat in the back and it looks like it's been scratched or keyed. Cleverly, they've done it right on the inner door part of the car where they assume you won't take any pictures before. Please avoid at all costs, we've learnt the hard way.

What a joke this company is! I had a parking fine at Sainsbury. Unfortunately Euro Cars send the parking fines to the owner. In this case Lease Plan. So, I had no knowledge of the fine. So far, so bad. A week later I got an email from Lease Plan with attachments of the fine and stating I would be charged an admin fee by them for this invoice. A second email arrived a few minutes later, authorising me to deal with the fine personally. I did this rightaway. But I tried to get in touch with Lease Plan. Firstly, their emails cannot be replied to as they are auto generated. They also do not give a telephone number to call them. One has to jump thru hoops to get in touch with them. Great if you are unemployed or on sick leave and have time on your hands. I then got an email, telling me they were taking an admin fee from my bank account! I have a year and a half to run on this lease deal. One time I hope time flies!

If you are a business or someone looking to buy a vehicle through leaseplan RUNNNNNN. Run as fast as you possibly can. The most incompetent place to deal with. They cost my company thousands due to losing deals on vehicles and when they finally pinned one down it took a month to get everything together. Then once they get the money and POA sent, they didnt include the temporary tags for the vehicle so we now had to wait even longer. Funny thing is that it was THEIR request for the dealership not to put a temp tag on. Then send paperwork WITHOUT the temp tag. Its like dealing with 12 year olds who have NO CLUE. I'm going to do everything I can to get our company to switch companies and get away from this place. I'd give them a 0 if it was possible

Waiting for a reply to my many emails since Monday morning-- today Wednesday afternoon. We need help, our car is in a garage and we need to know if they can go ahead with fixing it. Spoke to Victor and Jose who were nice but could not give us any information. This is not human .Amazing, their office is now closed and still no reply from customer services. Somebody asking me to send another email by facebook---for what??? Send an answer to my email address or call me, you have my telephone number. Hoping to get an answer tomorrow morning. Crazy situation!!!! Finally a reply by email!!!! Of course cannot help us even though the garages they suggest are booked out. Leaseplan cannot tell us if the ad blue tank would be covered by the waranty. Our car is in a garage which was on their list last December, no suggestion to lend us a car. Why should they ????? Asked to call another number, Sophie tried to help but she let me know that that was not her department--wonder why I was asked to call???????? May never get our car running again. Contacted Citroen but they told us that LeasePlan should help us. So far after 4 days, I have received lots of emails---all telling me the same thing----WE CANNOT HELP!----still waiting for them to lend us a car. 5th day---Trying to get them to give us a car for a few days as ours is sitting in a garage. Talked to Miguel and Ines who fully understood the craziness of our situation---- the garages they mention are booked--cannot tell us if the problem with the add blue tank will be paid if we move the car to these garages. By moving the car we would end up paying 2 garages meaning a hefty bill and a big possibility that Leaseplan would refuse to settle the bill. Once again we will be without a car next week---they can not lend us one!!!! 6th Day---No manager has stepped in to help us---perhaps they are on holiday or couldn`t care less.

AVOID. As per many comments below. They will attempt to fleece you for wear and tear. A 5 light paint wear on a door edge, and alloys that I touched up very minor damage on. Also late collection of vehicle that they cancelled and I get charge ~£100. Appeals process is to BVRLA - funded by lease companies. Last resort is Financial Ombudsman who are very busy and will take months, in meantime Leaseplan demand I pay the £488. Wow a 3 year old car that is expected back in showroom condition. It was returned 6k under the mileage and with 4 nearly new Michelin tyres. Greedy, greedy, greedy, avoid.

The worst leasing company I have ever dealt with! They are absolute frauds! The initial cost they provide for you is a total lie so please don't be fooled thinking they are offering a competitive price to begin with! They have a lot of hidden charges that they will do you over once you hand back the vehicle! Be aware before you sign contract with this company! Expect to get a giant unjust bill at the end of your contract once you hand over the car in perfectly great condition! They are charging me over £2400 as final bill which is so unexpected and totally unjust. Their level of greed to get every penny off their customers upon returning car is outrageous! I would stay away from Leaseplan and will avoid at all costs! I wish I had read their reviews before committing to the contract! The level of negative reviews clearly shows the company for what they are which is a total fraud.

Here is a company name that is not exactly what they do. It would be Lease No Plan. Because they are terrible... I many issues with them... the biggest being they just don't care. They will take money for a car... if the car is faulty they do nothing to help. You just sit in phone ques having to chase. My car has an issues it fixed with 24 hours.... LP seem to need a week to change a tyre... MOTs hopeless because they never approve anything in any time frame. Please avoide this company..
