My washer has rust on each hinge and around the soap input area and I ask why so faulty and weak? Stainless steel would solve this problem I believe!!! Sincerely Disappointed customer

Ordered a washer. When it was delivered, they told me it was not possible to get my dryer out of my laundry room in order to put the new washer in. As though my house had been built around the dryer and it had never come in or out of that doorway. The delivery men were rude, the woman who called me to tell me that my dryer would not come out was rude. Especially when I pointed out that this made no logical sense since it had gone in in the first place. They then asked if I wanted them to leave the washer in the middle of my kitchen. I said no, I'll just order from Best Buy as they had successfully installed both a washer and a dryer over the past several years despite the "fact" that the dryer was supposedly permanently stuck in the laundry room as I apparently bought it from IKEA and assembled it inside the laundry room myself. The next day I got an email confirming the successful delivery of my washer. I spent 45 minutes on the phone with them explaining repeatedly that I was not in possession of any new washer. Three weeks later I still did not have my refund. I had called multiple times at this point- each person told me there was no documentation of previous phone calls. About a week after that, my refund was issued but they charged me a $55 restocking fee for returning the washer. So let me get this straight. Your delivery people were rude and also unable to take correct measurements. You told me you could not install the washer because removing my dryer was an impossibility. So I had no choice but to return the washer. And now you're charging me for it? I'm honestly astounded at the horrible customer service through this entire experience. I am frustrated and if I can prevent anyone from going through LG, I will do my best. Best Buy delivered my new washer/dryer set today. They had no difficulty removing my dryer and were in and out of my house in less than 45 minutes. Paying them a little more was absolutely worth it and I will never deal with LG again.

Really really really poor business. Wish we hadn't have bought our fridge freezer from them. Customer services string you along as their backend process is a MESS. Stuck with £100's of food and freezer produce down the drain, stuck without a working fridge freezer, out of pocket £200 for a part that has broken within their 10 year warranty, and stuck with no answers about said part being out of stock. DO NOT BUY FROM LG.

Upon the first use, our brand new, professionally installed LG dishwasher gave the dishes- particularly glassware- a strong smell similar to a riverbank with submerged, slimy roots and vegetation. At the beginning, the smell would sometimes not occur until about 20 minutes after the cycle ended, but it would last indefinitely on dishes put into the cupboard. The dishes would hold this odor, even when completely dry, unless we rinsed and dried all the dishes by hand or set them all out on the counter for 3 days to air out. On my first 2 warranty service calls to LG, 5-12-21 and 6-7-21, the technicians recognized an odor but could find no mechanical issues with the machine. The 3rd time I called, on 6-7-2021, LG refused to send someone to my house, saying that they would not send someone for the same issue since they found nothing at the last service call. (Incidentally, a technician told me that if LG has to send someone 3 times for the same issue, the policy is to replace the machine.) For the next 2 years, despite efforts to clean and drain the machine, try different cycles, and various dish washing products, the smell continued to get worse and worse. Eventually, when we opened the dishwasher after any cleaning cycle, our entire downstairs would reek like a riverbank. The only thing that helped somewhat was running a cycle with the dishwasher empty and some Clorox bleach in the bottom. That was only effective for one load following the bleach load. We have lived in our home for over 30 years and had two previous dishwashers with no problems. The only time I have ever smelled this swamp odor in my home was several years ago when I left a pitcher of water undisturbed and unrefrigerated for about a month. It produced a thin slimy film and that very characteristic submerged-vegetation-in-a-swamp odor. On 6-23-2023, I tried again to get some satisfaction from LG. After several calls, hours on the phone and weeks of waiting, my case was escalated to the Presidential Liaison. I was told that the best they could do was give me a courtesy check for $100 for my troubles, and a rebate for 20% of the machine cost. I expected $100 plus $206. I did receive the $100 check, and then I received a coupon off the price of my next LG appliance purchase for $58 with a notice that the case was closed. After 2½ years of dealing with stench, we replaced the LG dishwasher with a Bosch model a couple weeks ago – NO MORE SMELL. I have read reviews on LG and found that this issue is not unique to our machine. I believe I know what is causing the problem, which comes from the factory. Dishwashers are tested at the factory to be sure they function correctly. A portion of that water remains in the machine until it is installed and used by a customer. I believe that impure water was introduced into my washing machine and bacteria multiplied inside it, to the point where it cannot be rinsed or washed away without taking the machine apart.

We bought a home theater sound round system for 300 and something dollars and everything‘s been fine for about a year and now the sound goes from normal to almost a whisper no matter how high you turn it up and I tried to explain that and the customer service LG person Kept saying it wasn’t close enough to the TV and I tried to tell him it’s been in the same place for over a year and it’s worked just fine that there’s a malfunction in your equipment and it has a two year manufacture warranty on it and they will not send me a new speaker it has been the worst experience with the customer service reps that I have ever had … a guy named Jay which I doubt it is his real name put me on hold for three hours because he didn’t want me to leave a review about him …

I purchased a faulty microwave and knew immediately it was faulty. Had to jump through various hoops but eventually did get a return authorization and was told I would be refunded IN FULL. Their idea of IN FULL is what they sold it to the vendor for. Not sure why the vendor who sold their faulty product in good faith and then had to box it up and return it was expected to refund their portion. All in all, I would never buy LG again or recommend them to others.

Washer has not worked since delivery. Called customer service and was told they would not send out service. Ask for a supervisor, after arguing with him for over 30 minutes told me someone will call me within 2 business days to schedule service. Gave me a claim number. No one ever called, called customer service back and was told no service was ever scheculed,I was lied to. After 3 more customer service people, over 3 hours of my time still no one will schedule a service call. Never buy LG.

I am a frequent buyer of LG appliances for having faith in the quality. However I would like to share a bitter experience in one of my recent purchase. I had bought a LG refrigerator Model GL-T432APZY OF 44002/- ON 29-3-2023. In last month while cleaning the compartment glass in running tap water, I was shocked to see the glass shelf breaking into fine particles which got scattered all over the place which appeared truly dangerous. I tried calling LG customer service to replace the compartment glass. But I was told that it cannot be replaced from their end. I have been maintaining refrigerator for many years and the present incident was a bitter one. I never hit the piece on any surface not did carelessly handle it but on mere washing the incident happened and there was no fault at my end. No instructions were provided on cleaning or about the material of the glass shelves by the dealer. I presume the quality of the tempered glass is extremely poor and hence requested to replace. Customers like me trust LG brands that provide warranty but it is surprised that LG is not providing any warranty on such delicate parts. My repeated requests and request to MD LG are being turned down which made me write this note . Extremely sorry to say that I have lost trust in your product foreseeing the danger in handling the delicate parts that cause injury. As a reputed dealer safety of customers using your product is company's responsibility. I will certainly be weighing this experience in future while purchasing any LG appliance and is extremely disheartened

LG customer service is a joke. I spent hours trying to access my account to register a recently purchased microwave. The LG website kept sending me to my husband's account. I spent hours talking with reps (probably in Bangalore or Costa Rica) who kept sending me to other departments, then back again, and no one could help me get my account fixed. At one point my case was "escalated" for a senior manager to solve. I asked them to call me so we could get the problem sorted. Instead, this "senior" person sent me a text (over Memorial Day) saying the problem was fixed and if I had any more issues go to a link, which I did, and there was no help on that page, either. Complete stupidity and the webpage doesn't even work! I would give LG no stars if possible. I would expect a whole lot more from LG but obviously they don't care about their customer post-purchase. Very frustrating and since I have purchased several LG products-- I won't be doing it in future. LISTEN, LG, to your customers!

I am writing this review to express my utmost disappointment with LG's customer service and the handling of my monitor repair. After sending my monitor in for repair, LG managed to lose it, leaving me without a monitor for an extended period of time. Despite my consistent efforts in chasing their customer service team for a resolution, I have been met with nothing but frustration and empty promises. It is truly disheartening that a reputable company like LG can mishandle a customer's product and then take no responsibility for their actions. I have wasted four weeks of my valuable time trying to resolve this issue, only to find myself still without a monitor or a suitable replacement. As a result of this unacceptable experience, I have decided that I will no longer be purchasing any LG products. The lack of accountability and disregard for customer satisfaction demonstrated by LG is simply unacceptable. I believe it is necessary to share my experience with others to caution them about the potential frustrations and disappointments they may face when dealing with LG. Furthermore, due to the negligence displayed by LG, I have now taken legal action to reclaim the cost of a replacement monitor. It is unfortunate that I had to resort to such measures, but I firmly believe that LG should be held accountable for their actions. In conclusion, my encounter with LG's customer service has been an utter disappointment. I strongly advise potential customers to reconsider purchasing LG products due to their poor customer service, lack of responsibility, and disregard for the importance of consumer satisfaction.

Bought a brand new LG refrigerator online. Had it less than one week and it ruined all of the food in the frig and freezer. The WIFI did not send a notification until 4 days later and this was to notify something was wrong and this was even after we noticed it wasn't working! Called the Home Depot Crawfordsville, IN manager and they would not take it back. Called LG and they would not take it back! Got the run around from both of them. BEWARE - we are stuck with a new frig that doesn't work, can't get anyone to take it back, they insist on repairing it. Why, it's NEW, one week old and LG has had lawsuits regarding their refrigerators (see disclosure before purchasing). Over a week before anyone will even come look at it. Never again! Dr. Hachem

Of all the companies I have ever dealt with, I have never experienced the level of extraordinarily terrible customer support that I have with LG. After four years dealing with this complete lemon of a refrigerator - including visits from multiple service technicians, at least ten live chat sessions (most of which ended with the representative just disappearing), several hours on the phone, several refrigerator/freezer’s worth of food going to waste, and being told today that there are no options available to me other than to continue having technicians come out - I’m soooooo done with LG. There is no chance in hell that I will ever (intentionally) purchase another LG product as long as I live. ----- Note: The refrigerator had great reviews when we bought it. It wasn't until after it had been on the market for about six months that people started having issues.

We bought a dryer from LG. It broke down after 10 months of use and the parts to repair it have been on back order for several weeks. I have wasted several hours on the phone with LG customer service, which has been giving me mixed messages regarding the availability of the parts required to fix the device. LG is unwilling to commit to honoring their warranty if the repairs have to happen after the warranty expires, even though the device broke while under warranty, and the delay in repair is due to their own supply chain delays.
