Four days waiting for call back from uk customer service dept. When I did get to speak to someone they gave me false information which was confirmed by a manger that I requested a call back for. Personally I will never buy an LG product again after this experience. LG tv not fit for purpose after four weeks but they didn’t want to know. Further more I will never recommend them to anyone. Heaven help you if your product has an issue as they don’t care.

They are the worst company I have ever dealt with. They will not fix my refrigerator. We constantly get promised that we will get a call back from LG and they never call back. My husband has called several times and all we get is the run around. I will never get LG products again and I will make sure everyone I know will stay away from your company.

Do not buy LG refrigerators. Read their reviews especially about their "linear compressor" issues. Multiple class action lawsuits filed against them. I took them to small claims court in California and won a judgement of approximately $3,000 (Aug 2022). They still have not contacted me or paid me yet.

WORST customer service I have ever had. Refrigerator broke a month before being 5 years old LG sent someone out to repair it, company they sent did more damage to fridge left it broken and will not repair or replace... first they offered to give me a prorated refund of $1110.12 (for a 33 Cubic ft) then sent a message that instead they will give me 20% off a new fridge up to $500. I have proof of all this on text message because thats how they communicate . Issues started in June and this is what I am left with terrible service, terrible communication, damaging repairs and months later a 20% discount of their products that I will NEVER purchase again!! please please beware!!

Horrible customer service. Washer dryer unit came dented. LG was supposed to call me as the local distributer made a claim number on our behalf. However they initially told me LG has poor customer service. THIS was a gross understatement. Customer service was AWFUL. First attempt they had a bad connection - then the call dropped they said they would call back and did not. That call was about one hour of my time. Then I called back when i had time the following week. I have been on the phone for over 1/2 hour and they have DONE NOTHING.. They have the claim number then they ask me the same questions in different ways over and over again. It seems simple -- they know the problem. Schedule a service call. NO! Still holding now. AND hoping they don't hang up or my phone doesn't run out of battery!! SERIOUSLY!~ I feel bad for the sweet person on the phone but they seemingly DO NOT Want to pay for someone to come out. They just want to wear me out!! Hopefully they schedule the correct person to fix the problem AND who can get the part!!!

LG UK still would never buy off them again. Shame because I always bought products with them but after me contacting them weeks ago about the foreign peice of plastic that almost killed me from a four month brand new fridge freezer, heard nothing. Was told almost after two weeks that head office agreed to send an engineer out to me as priority and not heard anything since.... Ridiculous, maybe if I had choked and the accident was more fatal they would have moved their arses and checked where the peice of plastic came from .. but who knows, maybe wait for the person to die first before acting 👏🙃

This is my first review of a company in 41 years on this earth! LG customer service was almost as bad as the refrigerator. The refrigerator was broken and they refused to honor the warranty due to what amounted to being smoke and mirrors.

Been trying to get a dryer fixed for over 6 months now, dryer is just over 1 year old. Keep getting the run around from LG, only 2 service centres in my town, and none want to deal with lg. now I’m stuck with a broken dryer

The worst brand for appliances ever specially ranges. I cannot believe myself doing it twice within 15 years; with the same problematic product. I do not recommend it at all. Don't buy it, save your money and most of all your time as you'd need to be on extended phone calls for services.

Absolute waste of space!!! Shocking service for supposedly a popular global company. They will happily take your TV for repair but then give it to someone else and then make you feel guilty for demanding your product back or a full refund. We are exhausted from the fight to get what is rightfully ours. I just hope the people with our TV are very happy with their massively upgraded TV!!! LG I'm afraid that you need to go back to basics otherwise you are seriously at risk of going bankrupt.

Never purchase a product from LG. Our first refrigerator quit working after one month and LG refused to repair or replace it. We had to go through Home Depot to get a replacement. Our second refrigerator in 4 years quit working two weeks ago. There are no service technicians in our area so that is not an option. LG will not issue a refund as requested. We have just been getting the run around for weeks. I urge you to stay away from LG as both their products and their customer service is terrible.

If I could give 0 stars I would. The support we have had is abysmal. Our TV was faulty so was returned to the repair centre, supposedly it was returned to us...but no. Our TV was returned to another customer and we received someone else's TV. 12 days later we are still waiting for our TV to be returned to us. I phone daily, they say they are escalating the issue but still nothing. The whole thing is now on day 23. I can't see an end in sight.

The warranty and the paper its written on is a complete waste of paper!! If i can give anyone advice on what to buy when it comes to LG, in particular washing machines then stay well away from LG! The customer service is absolutely appalling with no understanding or empathy towards their customers what so ever. They have NO CLUE when it comes to understanding our consumer rights in Australia under the Australian consumer laws and only quote the information that is scripted for them! All they do is waste time and irritate the customers so much that they just give up on claiming warranty. But what can you expect when the (lack of) customer service department are based in the Phillipines!!?? Definitely looking into another branded model which is not connected to LG as I refuse to go through the painful situation again. Will be telling all family and friends to avoid buying an LG! One word of advice to LG and all large business/corporations, bring your customer service team back to Australia if you want customer satisfaction and positive feedback!

Brand new stove. The top oven will not heat. There was no serial number on the oven when it arrived. A tech came out three times to try and repair. He could not fix it and recommended it be replaced. The tech also verified to LG that it was new and there was no serial number on the unit. We did have a serial number on the paperwork. We spent 5 months trying to resolve this issue with LG. The presidential liaison group told us we had reached the top and that they would not replace the oven. So we now have a brand new oven that does not work and WE have to pay for replacement. LG does not honor their products. We have been treated very bad and will never buy or recommend LG again.

LG vile company to deal with customer service shocking , my tv 1 yr and 7 weeks old 65” LG screen went blank had to fight heaven and earth for curry’s to repair it, if you buy LG trust me if it breaks you will get no help direct from LG and curry’s were no better until I took legal advice, look elsewhere LG are a disgrace to deal with

An Open Letter to LG LG is one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. To anyone reading this PLEASE think twice before buying anything made by them. I know it may seem silly that I'm putting in this much effort over only $150, but if they'll put up this much of a fight over a $150 repair (for parts actually worth *maybe* $30 to them) just imagine how difficult it could be for you to get them to make right on a more significant repair. Dear LG, After taking more than 4 months of going back and forth with you over what should have been a simple issue to resolve, you've permanently lost my business. Your low-quality plastic fridge bins cracked in less than 2 years, while still under warranty, and you refused to replace them time and time again. I would bet that if you added up all the time that several people at your company spent on my case, it would exceed the value of the parts that needed replacing (around $150). But for some unfathomable reason, rather than simply replace those parts and keep me as a happy customer for many years into the future, you'd rather waste everyone's time and permanently lose my business. You also felt the need to accuse me of ordering parts from an "unapproved supplier" which I had to resort to doing, after I got NOWHERE with getting parts replaced from you, and then claimed that you had to get approval from upper management to issue me a measly $45 cheque to reimburse me for 30% of the cost. A $45 cheque is really worth the time of upper management at your company? Also, I don't buy that the supplier I ordered from was an unofficial supplier, as according to the return address label on the shipping box the parts were shipped directly from an LG warehouse. Instead of simply making things right for your customers when your shitty products fail (or better yet, making decent quality products in the first place), you manufacture substandard products to cut costs and increase your profits, and spend your resources trying to prevent your customers from getting any resolution from you at all costs. Do you honestly think it's acceptable to only solve 30% of a customer's issue when damage occurs while an appliance is still under warranty? If you went to a dealership while your car was still under warranty and they returned the car to you only 30% repaired or required you to pay 70% of the cost, can you honestly say that would be OK with you? You also insisted on calling the damage "cosmetic" as a way of claiming the damage was not covered under warranty, when the bins had major cracks and holes, and were completely unusable. By this logic a car windshield with a large hole in it only has cosmetic damage, and the owner should still happily continue to drive it. I'm turning down your pathetic and insulting offer of a 30% reimbursement on the parts I already paid for. I will make sure everyone I know hears about my experience, and hopefully they'll think twice before purchasing any LG product. Between the time you wasted fighting with me over this simple issue, and the future purchases you've lost from me and everyone I'll warn off from your horrible company, I'm confident you'll lose a lot more than the $150 the parts were worth and that gives me far more pleasure and satisfaction than a pathetic $45 cheque. You could have simply sent me replacement parts (which to you, I'm sure are actually worth more like $30) and I would have remained a happy customer for years to come. Instead you wasted a lot of time proving what a garbage company you are. Good job!

I thought they got bullied by lots of 1 stars online. I can confirm that this is the worst company I have encountered. don't deserve any star. waited 1 month for Fridgefreezer and living in a house with a cool box for a month now. customer care can't be bothered to work. emailed the president, the president forward us to the executive care team and nothing happened, money has been taken out. Just want our money back and buy a fridge freezer somewhere else
