“I have used Medicals Monks many times over the past few years for ostomy supplies. Recently, when traveling to visit family, the airline lost the baggage with my supplies. I placed an order immediately with Medical Monks to insure I would not run out and selected expedited shipping. The next business day I received an email with a delivery date of 1week. This was unacceptable so I called and spoke with an agent. She explained the problem was with one item that could not be shipped by air. I emphasized the urgency of the order and asked her to remove the one problem item and ship the rest overnight. Then, two days I received another email saying my order would be delivered in one week and was not expedited as requested . I called and spoke with a very unempathetic and unhelpful agent who could not resolve the problem. His only solution was for me place a duplicate order. This was unacceptable. I now order directly from the manufacturer, it is much easier, faster and pleasant.”
“Ordered merchandise over 3 weeks ago. Customer service is elusive and lacking any sense of urgency. Never got confirmation they actually had possession of the product to ship. After reading other horrible reviews, decided to cancel the order before I received the wrong merchandise and had a whole new monk headache to resolve. Waiting to see if my CC is credited the full amount now. Beware the brave traveler!”
“Medical Monks sent out the wrong item and ack like they don’t care about them sending out the wrong item . All they worried about is me sending back the item . Instead of me receiving the correct item I paid for They communication is very poor! Their lack of accountability and poor customer service have left me feeling undervalued as a customer. I won’t be shopping here again . Had to call them 3 x so far ! They so unprofessional.”
“They sent the wrong item and would not send my correct item for several weeks later after calling every day letting them know I really needed the wound cream finally after filing a complaint with the BBB they sent my item once I received it the tube was not sealed and looked like it was used not even in a box. My wound nurse would not use the wound cream since it was not in a sealed lid or container. I lost every important time with my wound healing and money! I will never order from them again”
“I sent back ostomy bags that were unopened. Medical Monks claims the bags were so damaged they had to be thrown away and they denied my refund. These are soft ostomy bags, not easily breakable. They also could not provide proof of the damage. I’m sure they denied my refund and resold the bags to make double the profit. Do not do business with Medical Monks.”
“This is part 2 to my dilemma with Medical Monks. My original review was posted on 9/13/2024. At that time, I had received the wrong item (male catheters instead of female catheters). My replacement order arrived on 10/3/2024 (one month after the original order) and surprise, surprise... they sent the same incorrect item again (male catheters instead of female catheters). I immediately reached out to customer service and was told he would get back with me after speaking with his manager. The response from the manager? Medical Monks will not refund my money until they receive the first incorrect order back. Mind you they never sent the promised return label until 10/4/2024 (they originally told me I would get the label in mid-September, but never did). There was no concern for the fact that I rely on these medical items... none whatsoever. Just a "send us our items back and then we will refund your money." They simply have no empathy for their customers.”
“This is the 2nd time Medical Monks has sent the wrong product. The packing slip was literally signed off on by two employees... both the puller and the packer. How did two people sign off on the wrong product?!! Unfortunately, I received my order on a Friday and the customer service rep said I would have to wait until Monday for someone from shipping to send me a return shipping form. She didn't even offer to send the correct item right away. Absolutely unacceptable since this company sells MEDICAL SUPPLIES... You know? Items that their customers need and depend on. Now I have to wait for the entire weekend before anyone will even address my order issue. “I am extremely dissatisfied with my recent purchase from Medical Monks. I ordered 20 laryngeal masks, but when the package arrived, it was missing 13 of the masks. Despite providing clear evidence, including photos of the received package and the packing slip, the customer service team refused to acknowledge their mistake. They suggested I might be lying, which was both frustrating and disrespectful.
Their lack of accountability and poor customer service have left me feeling undervalued as a customer. I expected better from a company that should prioritize customer satisfaction. I won’t be shopping here again and would advise others to be cautious when ordering from them.”

“My sister who lives in Kenya ordered products for her Ostomy. All items were delivered to the wrong address in three separate boxes. 1st box wrong address and one even Fedex cannot track down. 2 box was able to reach the address 3rd address after some complaints was shipped out but to the WRONG address AGAIN. But Medical Monks will not refund the over $1200 of items!!! and basically told my sister she is SOL!!! how is this even a medical company. and the customer service rep Christine is the worst of them all. NO compassion, doesn't care about answering questions. doesn't care that the person in need is all the way in Africa and cannot access these items early. SMH.... the worst!!!!!”

I found their website to be deceptive and the ordering process to be false. I ordered two items and they sent the cheapest item but backordered (more than 30 days) the expensive item. I would not have placed the order if I had known that an item that they claim to be in stock was in reality more than 30 days out of stock. I feel cheated by an organization set to operate a scam. They claim to be honest but please beware of these con-artists. Shop somewhere else!! They do not deserve your trust.”

“I ordered a certain ostomy bag for my son. Not once did it say it was NOT in stock. It took my payment and then days later got an email stating that it would be a few weeks because it wasn’t in stock. I called and spoke with someone. I asked for a supervisor because it was quick to ask for the payment but did that just to get money. The lady I spoke with said there was no supervisor or manager. I felt it was fair to ask the company to pay to have it overnighted once they got them and she said I had to pay for it. They want money, but based off this I’ll never use them again.”
“I been a customer (no health ins) for over two years customer service is great until they sent you the wrong items and you called to request for the correct item to be send, supervisors treat you like "You Placed the order" "That's your mistake". Been paying for product to be send over night and when you asked for items to be send the same they refuse because they they don't feel like it.”
