Waited in for a package, given no delivery time, but fine we are in lock down anyway. In the kitchen for the best part of 6 hours, check the website to be told we tried to deliver your package and you weren’t in. There is literally no way of approaching my house without being noticed! No one attempted to deliver anything, complete lie. These are the sort of companies that just need to go the way of the dinosaurs.

Despite clear delivery instructions, they have failed to deliver and I am now waiting for four different parcels lost somewhere in the system. Worst courier in the history of mankind. Current accumulated rating of 1.5/5 is grossly overstated.

Parcel never arrive! They said they delivered but off course they did not not or they driver steal it! No way of speaking to and agent because they wash there hand and say to contact the seller! By far the worst delivery service!

Worse delivery company EVER!!! Ordered a parcel where the seller said it had arrived but NEVER has! Tried contacting Hermes and they have been extremely USELESS and UNHELPFUL! Says on their website and app that the parcel has been signed for but NEVER has as there is no signature proof on their website. Terrible customer service if I could rate 0 stars I would. NEVER TRUST HERMES!!!!!

Received emails with time slot for delivery. Received an email friday night, offices closed. In tracking service In was told I had to take action, message then stated they were unable to deliver to our address, no reason why, we were home, road is accessible so what's the issue. I was directed to do live chat which I did the following morning, I'm none the wiser options to choose were either contactvthem again the following day or email and the conversation ended. So where is my parcel? Bonkers system, poor service. Can't even answer prompted questions below as haven't received my item.

After a long list of "it's on it's way to you"and "there is a delay please wait 24 hours"i got a message to say "robert your friendly hermes delivery driver will be delivering your parcel".bizarrely it went on to tell me that "Robert likes to spend time with his friends and watch football"......at first I thought it was a profile off a dodgy online dating site as it even included a picture of him? Anyhow I waited 24hours hermes time(which equates to 4 days real time),only to be told that the parcel had been returned to the sender because i requested it?!?!? I never did anything of the sort.i am lead to believe that hermes will make 3 attempts to deliver before returning the parcel to sender.robert!!! You never even attempted to deliver once!dont waste your time trying to contact hermes with your issues,you get nowhere.overall a worse than useless service by unscrupulous and dishonest company who do not provide the service they are paid for..........also watch out for robert .he lies .As an add on the parcel STILL hasn't arrived back to the sender.AVOID !!!!!!

How does this company survive? I cannot believe that a delivery company which provides the level of service I have experienced this week is fit for purpose. Hermes' tracking system claim they received my package in the early hours of Monday morning. This was followed by 4 consecutive days of messaging to the effect "We have your parcel and will deliver it today", sometimes even giving rough times ranges. Technology evidently does not do irony and sees nothing wrong in a daily send-out of a message which should only require one airing. Further, the Hermes website seems to go to great lengths to conceal how you might speak to a human about your delivery (or lack of it) or message someone who would actually give a personal response. With their quality of service I realise the lines would be red hot if contact numbers were divulged. Sadly, all of this badly let down the delivery driver who finally arrived on day 5 of the saga. When getting no reply at the front door he had the wit to try our back garden where I was working outside. Well done him, badly done Hermes.

Hermes driver supposedly posted my parcel through the letterbox and even emailed me a photo of it sticking out of letterbox however the photo showed a white door mine is brown. Numerous emails to Hermes and they are refusing to question the driver regarding this. It has obviously been stolen by said driver but still Hermes are refusing to help. No wonder the reviews on this company are so bad

A small parcel has been on the way for over 7 days. Continuous notification of a delay. The next message "We're sorry your parcel has been delayed, we'll have it on the move in the next 24 hours" has been going on for over 48 hours!!! And that's another one of those messages! Is this a joke? Are you serious?

I have previously sung the praises of Hermes. How wrong I was! I arranged for a parcel to go to the Netherlands to be picked up on the 27th March and duly paid over £13 postage. It was not picked up on the 27th, 28th, 30th or 31st. I then asked for it to be collected on the 1st April and am still waiting, 3 days later. Have had to ring my daughter as I am over 70 to ask her to take it to a parcel shop. Absolutely disgusted with the service. I paid £6 to phone them, to speak to an automaton from whom I learned nothing except that my parcel would be collected 3 days previously!!!! DHL for me in future.

I believe there is a systemic culture of dishonesty and disregard for their customers present at Hermes, every step of the way there has been nothing but false update, strange requests and outright lies from them regarding my delivery. Now both the seller and I have wasted our time and money trying to resolve this being sent round in circles by the phone, web, app. Please if you are considering using Hermes pay the bit extra for better service from anybody else, a one legged man on a push bike could deliver a faster and quicker service than these complete amateurs. No customer service number to call, no desire to fix the issue, waiting for 5 days just for a reply from the email just to have the guy ask for the tracking number, which I provided in a previous email, saying my address is invalid but Hermes delivered there previously. It's been like this through every step. Inept, dishonest and callous.

I was waiting for a delivery from Gillette three days no one came to press the bell today my parcel time 11 - 13 hrs I got a message 13.05 delivery I wait outside 1hour nothing happened yesterday I wait for them same as today DHL is super

Utterly useless, always have messages saying they are having problems with my address. This is not a one off, I don’t order form companies that use Hermes if I can help it.

They do not do their job properly. I have ordered from 2 completely different companies in the last 2 weeks who use Hermes to deliver. Each time, I have been told that there has been an issue getting to my address and they could not attempt delivery. I live in a city, on a road that is very easy to find. The local courier clearly isn't doing their job. In each instance I have had to go back to the retailers and ask them to send again using different courier companies and both have now arrived.

I placed an order on 24 March for next day delivery. Received an email at from Amazon that my parcel was delivered on 02/04/20 @20:52. As I was at home, I checked outside and nothing was left or a calling card. I then tracked the number at 8pm and it showed that the parcel was delivered at 21:51 2/4. It also had that "due to the Coronvirus we are not taking signatures". This is a big lie on Hermes part,cas they made no attempt in delivering. It took them 9 days and still failed to deliver the parcel. I'm very disappointed as I can't even contact speak to you.

Been waiting 10 days for my sports direct parcel, was out for delivery 6 days ago, no show. Now saying we have your parcel, never again will I order anything delivered by these clowns

Absolute Joke: Having to shout my 16 digit number to the auto number repeatedly. Finally get to, speak to someone option, now been sitting here for 30 minutes listening to music and sorry busy. Parcel 10 day late with message, on tracking, with Courier. Delay reason given will no doubt be the Corona Virus,, understandable but stop taken delivery orders as you obviously cannot supply delivery or adequate help. Will be billing you for my phone charges and putting through to financial Ombudsman. Never use you again if I have to pay twice the amount. Liz Mercer

24 hour tracked delivery took 10 days. My parcel wasnt picked up from the post office for 3 days then spent the rest at the sorting hub in Rugby. When it arrived the box had been trampled and crushed. Not the first time this has happened. I bought a very expensive digital camera which was sent via hermes. Same again, 24 hr delivery which took 3 and a half weeks to arrive, and when it did arrive the parcel was destroyed. Which was 2 and a half thousand pounds down the drain. JOKE.
