Parcel got left in a full recycle bin when the bins were obviously due for collection as the whole street had their bins out the front for collection. The recycle company emptied the bin and the parcel 16 minutes after it had been left there by Hermes!! The bin has never been designated as a”safe place” by me!!

The delivery drivers don't care about the parcels at all. Once my parcel was left behind bin and no note was left to let me know where the parcel is plus my tracking was showing that i have signed for the parcel which means the driver did it and just dumped the parecel behind bin. Yesterday was waiting at home all day waiting for the parcel to be delivered. Opend hermes app up to check what time it was supposed to be delivered and guess what? It shows that the parcel was delivered and signed for by customer at 11am? I haven't signed anything and don't have the parcel either. Its ridiculous. People please stop using hermes as they don't care about the customer or the parcels. Not worth your stress. Pay a bit more but use proper companies to get your parcels delivered.

Hermes customer service is appalling, I currently have 5 parcels which should have been collected 3 days ago, no contact or explanation from Hermes about why no collection. Impossible to get through on the phone or via live chat. This really is a disgraceful uncaring organisation. My local courier is great but let down by the biggest Cowboy organisation in the country. i would like to award zero stars

Hermes are by far the worst and I wish companies would stop using them. They constantly claim they visited your home and nobody was in ( we have security cameras and I'm always home due to being a mother to a child with disabilities) And they never visited. When they do visit they don't bother knocking on the door, instead they throw the parcel over your fence and post a card stating nobody was home which is lazy. When you try to solve the issues there's no contact number

Complete disappointment - causing trouble. Customer service is useless. An easy delivery of a parcel gone completely wrong. Hermes lost the parcel in transit and didn't seem to bother until I asked for an inquiry. They found it somewhere in a depot and instead of sending it to the delivery address, they send it back to an address I don't longer live at. Customer service is completely useless, only able to copy/paste info, no way to revert the parcel to the delivery address - not helpful in any way. No contact number available to avoid customers and their queries. On top, the refuse to refund the costs.

Absolute nightmare, if you have a job that you cant drop last minute to receive delivery you will not get it. First item they tried to deliver once .. then didnt bother again till 8 days later as they had lost the parcel. The 2and time they only tried to deliver twice, I went onto the website and diverted to a neigbour but even though I had a confirmation email it didnt work , then they text at 10:55 to say it was going to be delivered between 9-1 that day, when I went onto the website they had already tried to deliver!! Then they only tried twice .. I have tracking on their website .. but they say they tried 3 times and are returning to sender .. and of course .. can never get a human by phone or chat! If people use these clowns I will have to stop online shopping unless a courier choice is introduced !

I had 3 parcels undelivered so far because of Hermes from 3 different companies! I don’t understand how this company is still in business, they are incompetent and a complete nightmare! Avoid as much as you can!!!

Yet another late delivery from Hermes no matter who the seller is. Could be John Lewis or eBay, always different from their stated delivery time. Frustrating ! If you're thinking of using a courier, don't use this company. Ps still waiting !!

Package was ment to arrive today, Tried to call them, all I got was a stupid robot telling me that it's a different company I need to talk to, Absolutely disgusting costumer service, no information given at all about times, I'll stick to DPD from now on.

Their driver today was either blind or a liar. I waited in all day for a parcel and was told that the driver could not gain access to the delivery address. I was sat at my desk looking at the gate at the 'attempted delivery' time and no one approached it. The same thing happened yesterday and will likely happen again tomorrow. They are a disgrace and should be avoided at all cost.

Had a message saying they had tried to deliver, they hadn't. I live in a very quiet area and notice if anyone pulls up, the parcel arrived a couple of days later. Today I was expecting another parcel and yet again there was an attempt to deliver, I'm sat by the front window and nobody has been anywhere near my house. This company is diabolical, truly useless. They lie and know that there is no way to contact them, I tried calling their support help line and it's charged at £9 an hour. If I find out companies are using Hermes I will be boycotting them and letting them know why.

They say they've been 3 times, I've been home each time, my neighbour has also been home each time and I've had no calling card to say they've been 3 times! I can not get hold of anyone to solve this problem. Neither can the company I ordered from. Absolutely shocking service

Was meant to receive my order yesterday and today still nothing today (2 days later) I paid for next day delivery not 48 hrs. I try and avoid Hermes if I can as I have never had a good experience with them. The Hermes Drivers are just lazy slobs that don't want to work most of the time. It really is the worst delivery service in the UK - Avoid if you can at all costs.

Never again, parcel was not scanned by driver at Plymouth uk and is now stuck at local depot, never ever again will I use this company, hope they go bankrupt

Recently, a parcel from Thorntons was left on wet ground outside the front door. No attempt by driver to ring the bell, but he did send a photo by email. A second delivery from the same company did not arrive as the driver " had an issue" with delivering. Contact with the company is awful - no live operators, on;y robots. Web chat query was very unsatisfactory but I was told the driver could not find the address. After 6 days, the parcel has not arrived and I have been told to take up the matter with the retailer. Tracking facility no good. On previous occasions, parcels have not been delivered because the driver "did not know the entry code". There isn't one. Another time, the parcel was left outside - no attempt to ring doorbell -and the driver signed for it himself. The company depends on decent couriers - our local one is a disgrace. The customer contact process is terrible. Look at the the review scores on this page - only 6% of reviewers recommend the company.

Failed to collect from my workplace which is open 24/7. Did not come and reported "collection attempted". Our logbook and CCTV prove that the courier was not on site yesterday. If you fail to collect , please admit it is your fault , don't just say "collection attempted" and suggest it is your customer fault.

Had next day delivery for the 8th of march still waiting 11th of March... Unreliable service. Avoid at all costs. Waited all day on the 8th and apparently they had problems with my address. I am assuming the problem was not knowing how to operate a door bell... I also had difficulties communicating with them. Tried their chat service never got connected.
