Be very careful using Hermes! They are a faceless company based around a very unhelpful digital assistant. Not a real person. And they don’t have managers to give you call backs. They apparently damaged my parcel beyond repair and then destroyed it. I have a recording of the conversation I had with them and will be posting it to YouTube soon to show how much they care about customers. They should have consulted me before destroying my item, I also do not believe it was damaged because it was made from stainless steel which is virtually indestructible.

Got delivery date....never arrived....complained...Got email saying parcel will be with me in 48 hrs.....never arrived.......5 days later got email from hermes saying they cant find tracking number that they gave me....complained again and got email saying that I've already contacted them so basically stop bothering them. All this after paying extra for next day delivery.

Yes they do tell lies and the guy who covers my area refuses to deliver down my 1 mile driveway while all other carriers do , have complained to the local manager at Bodmin who says I can't force him to drive to our house so he returns parcel back to sender, will someone at Hermes sort the Bodmin depot out. I now will try to only order from people who don't use Hermes. They turn the joy of buying something into a stressful event.

The driver pulled up in a parking spot used by all couriers delivering to my road, it is directly opposite my house. It was a sunny afternoon, the package was large, the driver couldnt be bothered or liked the look of what i had ordered and "Had difficiculty finding my house", the house they were right outside. They tagged the GPS location of the van, the picture attached to this review taken from in my lounge, shows the driveway they parked in, which as you can see is oppoiste my house. They took a delivery attempt photo, well, i say photo, a very up close red blur. the kind of photo a lazy/theiving courier would take when they cant be bothered or fancy knicking something. There are 7 buildings on my side of the road, 7, not 127, 7. Yet they couldnt find my place. that was the closest my package got, and the last time anyone at hermes knew the location of it. it took a week to get a human response from their online help app which was a request for more delivery details which they had already been given. it took another week for another human response to say "we may phone the depot to see where your parcel is" In the end i had to mail the CEO to get a response, then it only took 2 days for a reply. Finally, 3 weeks after failing in their role as a courier - you know to safely deliver goods that have been passed to them to reach their intended recipient - i get a call, they lost the package, which was in a 150cm x 40cm x 45cm box. So, their driver failed to find a house they were outside, took a close picture of something red and drove away. There were no attempted redeliveries. the lady on the phone kept trying to blame other factors - well it was delivered to us by another company - so F*cking what? - another delivery company from overseas managed to get it from china to you - where you promptly failed, your failure is is no way related to them. Or it could have been due to a loose label coming off - in which case where is your duty of care to identify these things and fix them? I'll tell you where, lost with my goods. Hermes are incompetent. they failed in their primary duty, to actually deliver goods. Their driver is either incompetent, failing to find a house they were outside and cant use a camera, taking a delivery attempt photo of nothing but a red square (nothing red on or anywhere near my house), or they are a liar and a thief, intentionally taking a bad photo and reporting an inability to find a house so they could steal. it took two weeks for a human response to suggest a search at the depot, which was confirmed to have not taken place a week later. an utter shambles of a company, no communication, losing your property, refusing to actually communicate with recipients as we are not the people who paid them, we are just the people who have to sit back, watch and wait as our property takes a kicking in ther depots and promptly gets lost or stolen.

Ordered a couple of items from amazon all the items from Royal mail and amazon arrived but surprise surprise Heremes failed yet again.. I tracked my parcel online which stated the parcel would be delivered between 12pm and 3pm which then changed to 1pm and 5pm.. I didn't mind wasn't going out been here all day.. Time was getting on so checked the tracker again.. The parcel was showing delivered at 6.28pm.. No parcel has arrived, no parcel has been left in my building, no one buzzed the flat.. The driver has taken a photo of a blank delivery card with the word customer on it as a proof of delivery..I can very much assure you Hermes I have not received anything.

They lost a massive Bugaboo Donkey pram in its case worth about £500. I only paid 180 for it and though they refunded couldnt explain how it disappeared into thin air! They even said to me 'someone couldnt steal something as big as that' when I suggested this was possible. My deliverer says things are going missing more and more. I said I would tell the world if they didnt give me an explanation as to where its gone

I had a pair of shoes which went missing. Despite contacting Hermes I got no compensation they dragged their feet so much and made the claim so inaccessible I didn’t bother. Sent another parcel this week which arrived incomplete. Was well packed and had obviously been opened and items removed then repealed. Both parcels had been extremely well packed. Again Hermes would not deal with the problem and denied they were liable They are just a cowboy outfit. I would rather pay more and have an honest trustworthy courier not these cowboys

Disgusting service from HERMES. 3 emails on 3 different days saying that they tried to deliver my parcel and each time I have been in. They are either Ljust hope that tomorrow I get my delivery and not another LIE. I AM 69 YEARS OLD AND HOPE I AM STILL ALIVE TO RECEIVE THE DELIVERY WHEN IT EVENTUALLY ARRIVES.

Watchdog Live has received far more complaints about deliveries by Hermes than about any other delivery company. I bought a very rare and irreplaceable item via ebay. To protect both seller and buyer Ebay has a network in place of several shippers for international shipments (GSP Global shipping program). My item was coming from the US to the UK. The parcel changed hands many times on the way but I was updated at every turn and it stayed on track with the ETA. Finally it arrived in the UK at heathrow airport. Less than an hour from my home. Hermes picked it up and this is where the updates stopped. five days went on and nothing. The thing about Hermes is that you can't actually contact them. On their website there is only "Holly - the virtual assistent" who is basically just a glorified text-to-speech program. Holly can't tell you anything that isn't already stated on the website.Try the phone then? Exact same thing. An answering machine that will take your tracking number, read out what is already stated on their website; we're not quite sure what we did with your belongings but if you give us 24 hours we will follow up on this - goodbye!. 24 hours goes by, then 48, then five days, Nothing. At this point I'm checking the app daily. Suddenly, their tracking server is down and rather than kicking a ball up against a wall called "Holly", I'm allowed to send an email! I write asking for an update. 3 days later I am called back by a gentleman call Abdul. Abdul is clearly just calling back to tick me off his list. He can answer no questions and when I ask him about next steps the same reply: "I'll look into the details" comes out. I digg deeper asking what that means? Are you contacting the depot whereto he replies: "No, yes I mean I'll look into the details of it". Hermes Parcels have another trustpilot page with a score of 1.2 but you have to look for it. They've done a great job of maintaining a professional outlook but I suggest you have a look at their twitter or do a bit of googling before ever handing over anything of any value to them. Parcel delayed for no reason despite having an official delivery day. No reason given. I urgently needed that delivery today. No chance to talk to a real person online or by phone. Unaccountable, useless charlatans.

Shame I can't give give zero stars? They don't deserve 1 star. ... Lost 2 of my parcels, one has now over 28 days overdue so I can't claim for that one. The other is being investigated and I have been advised this may take up to 14 working days... Really? In 2021 a parcel tracking takes 14 working days? That is shocking. But most annoyingly, you can't get hold of anyone, no phone number, other than a robot. This is so so so so the ever last time I use Hermes. You have been warned...!

2 horrendous experiences with this "courier" service!! I was so gutted when I saw that my parcel was with them..... I ordered a dress for a christening happening tomorrow and while SilkFred dispatched the dress immediately it has been with MyHermes for over a week and the status has not changed when I track my parcel! I'm gutted and I now have to try and find another dress and fork out more money before tomorrow...... absolute disaster!!!!!!

Where do I begin? Let's jump in at the deep end. I buy huge amounts of stuff online from all the usual places - Amazon, eBay, and many others. I have to say on this basis Hermes are the WORST couriers I have ever come across! They are unreliable, they tell lies , they use every excuse under the sun for their breathtaking in-ability to provide what should be a fairly simple service, and nine times out of ten blame someone else - they NEVER own up to it being THEIR fault!!! THEY CANNOT BE TRUSTED!

BAD BAD BAD SERVICE I COMPETENT AND UNRELIABLE on more than one occasion delivery has been delayed for not apparent reason they just refer to you were not in and not given 3 option times for redeliver and delays could last over the actual date of delivery from 2 days to over 5 days. It shows that their organisational skills are incompetent low staff and expect confusion and mistakes. Unfortunately some sellers on ebay are using Hermes to lowering their delivery costs. My review is totally BAD SERVICE

Waiting 3 days now for a service I paid for (2 days delivery). I have emailed customer service but reply. JD’s customer service is trash why am I not surprised JD Sports uses such a garbage shady company I would give 0 stars if I could. I lost 1 day of work thanks to Hermes or should I say herpes. STAY AWAY from this fraudulent company.

29/06. Been at home all day, got an email and text at 17:00 to say that delivery was attempted but no-one was in. No card through the door, so I suppose the delivery driver just checked out for the day to watch ENG-GER. This is the second delivery in a row that Hermes have failed to deliver so I'll be careful to check, where possible, what delivery company is used when making online purchases in future. If I could give a 0 out of 5 stars then I would.
