These people are utterly useless. The only time I hear from them is when someone has sent me something. Everytime they'll send a message saying I was out, when I was definitely in. Without a tracking number, you can't get anywhere on their website, and there's no direct contact possible through the phone. So who knows what I might have been sent, because I never end up receiving anything, due to their utter incompetence! I cannot speak badly enough about these idiots!!!!!!!!!!!!

i spent all day waiting for my parcel and after and later got an email saying i wasn't in they could not leave in a safe place .i have a bell on my door ,the front entry door was open too . i later checked the gps picture of attempted delivery and it is not even on my area or near my house. why lie like this ,its ok to say you couldn't deliver or didn't want to do your job.

Had an awful experience with Hermes today. At 14.05pm I received an email saying an item I was expecting had been delivered. Problem is nothing of the sort took place. They claimed the item had been delivered to my porch (which my building does not have), and the photographic "proof" was a picture of half the box and absolutely nothing else - no identifying details such as a carpet, doormat, brickwork, concrete front step, or anything else. No courier on the planet takes that picture and expects it to serve as proof - they put the item on the floor and frame the picture so it includes visual information that proves the item was placed in the location they claim it was. At the exact same time this supposed delivery took place, a Hermes courier delivered a different parcel my partner had ordered to the exact same address - handed it to me, in fact - so there was clearly no confusion about where the parcel needed to go. They also delivered parcels to other addresses within the building. Yet no sign of my parcel anywhere. I won't use this space to throw out accusations about an individual courier. However, Hermes claiming to have successfully delivered the parcel is false. Now I'm left with the hassle of trying to get a refund from the retailer. I've also spent over an hour unsuccessfully trying to raise this issue with Hermes. All their customer service channels refuse to put you in touch with an actual human - it's simply automated systems that parrot the same "successfully delivered" untruth without any option to follow up or dispute. So right now, I'm £85 out of pocket, have nothing to show for it, and will have to spend the next week or so chasing a solution among both the retailer and Hermes. Which frankly is a terrible use of my time. I'd definitely recommend avoiding Hermes.

Most unreliable delivery company. I do not understand why retailers use them ot must be because they are the cheapest. I don't think the company get the concept of next day delivery or know the difference between day and week. Now day 5 waiting on my next day delivery and still no sign of it being with the courier for delivery. RUBBISH company!!!!

My story is maybe a bit different from others. I live in St. Albans Hertfordshire. And there is one lady. Always same one delivers parcels to our area. She's never ring the door bell. She just comes close enough to the house and then throughs the parcel somewhere to the bushes and the walks away. I asked her few times nicely " please can you ring the door bell so I know my parcel is outside somewhere". Last time she was swearing on me. Shouting and said I will never ever gonna deliver a parcel to you. And it happened that I purchased some trainers from internet. And it's coming with hermes. Well it's not coming. She refused to take that parcel from local depot. And now it's on delay since thursday. Says parcel is too big and some special curier gonna deliver it within 48h. I know it's her!!!! Why this company is still aloud to be on the planet ??? Whats wrong with people working in there. AVOID AVOID!!!!!!

Employees regularly lose and steal packages. They also often treat the ones they do deliver with no respect, often damaging them. Parcel shops often refuse to take parcels, and customer service has shut down their email service in favour of a terrible phone line that has a toll I believe and an automated assistant which is really bad too. Avoid if at all possible

How is this company not being investigated and closed down!! Never ever on time, parcels go missing, customer service centre non-existent then you get charged for talking to the worst automated system ever created. Businesses need to stop using them as I now refuse to buy items from companies who openly admit to using Myhermes services!!!

WORST WORST WORST WORST WORST SERVICE>>> TRUSTPILOT reviews are removed automatically..!!!!!!!!!!! what a SCAM!!! Paid for 24 hrs delivery.. 72 hrs gone... It was received at the centre on 6th October, 2021. Today is 9th October, 2021.. No updates. Yesterday suddenly Hermes cancelled the delivery.. On calling the customer care, no one had any clue why it was cancelled. I was ready to collect the parcel.. They didnt allow that too. Today again, it is showing that it will take another 24 hrs to process.. What a pathetic service.. I cant even connect to customer care.. It seems the worst service... Pathetic.. DO NOT TAKE THIS SERVICE IF YOU WANT TO GET THINGS DELIVERED ON TIME...

Driver goes to wrong address, then claims your were not in. Customer service is a joke. (Only automated service ) No help at all.

Sent an urgent parcel via Hermes on 20th to Cornwall. On 22nd the website said that a major event was slowing them down and they would deliver the parcel as soon as possible. On 27th they posted that the parcel had been refused by the recipient which was untrue as she had been phoning me up every day to find out where it was. Then suddenly it turned up back at my house, without warning, with the box damaged!! It seems that they are now incapable of delivering parcels. Why are they still in business??

Reading these horror stories, my experience isn’t as bad….yet (as parcel still to arrive!) On Wednesday morning I paid an extra £8 for next day delivery - the company I purchased from were great, had my item looked out and personalised in under two hours from my order (by 09.37am) whereupon Hermes had the parcel from that moment on and that was over two days ago now and it’s still sitting at the depot - this is Friday afternoon and tracking says it’s still there, so much for next day delivery…….the sooner companies stop using them the better as otherwise people will slowly learn to avoid buying anything from these websites if their goods are not getting delivered when they say they will be - a shame for reputable businesses who are working so hard and doing the right thing.

I received a parcel today and it had been cut open and stuck with brown parcel tape and an item is missing! I would like to know why yous have so many deterrents to prevent people from contacting you directly when things are delivered the way they are and things are missing? When I tried to call yous then wanted to charge £3.60 per min just to ask a question regarding my delivery. Yous clearly don't know how to deal or handle the customers that are unimpressed with your service and therefore just make it impossible to contact yourself and tell them to contact the company it was originally bought from. I will not be buying anything online that use your company! Pictures below are the proof of delivery from the driver that was sent to me by Hermes online chat as proof of delivery. The others are ones I took myself.

Absolutely useless.....the item has supposedly been with Hermes since the 27th (12 days). Tracking says it will be with us shortly. Been to seller he tells me Hermes say they have lost it....bottom line is we have waited patiently for 12 days because Hermes have lied as to it's whereabouts, saying it is being sorted whereas in reality they have lost it !! and now we are having to reorder having wasted the said 12 days. Since when has lying to your customers been in your code of practice Hermes? Liars and a total waste of time.....Shoddy, useless and dishonest service....absolute disgrace...will never use again if I have the choice.

I tried to contact Hermes many times, it's in possible. I received parcel after month. And this month I have same problem I even contact seller to change address One day after ordering, but after one week I still didn't have my parcel. I don't know what I should do. Please every company don't use Hermes , because if anything happened nobody can contact them, because that computer answering phone can't answer questions!!!!!!!!!

Appalling service from Hermes, as usual. Our urgent ‘next day’ delivery of medical supplies finally arrived, but a day late. Hermes’ tracking information was reporting 14:34 - Wed Oct 06 We tried to deliver your parcel today but you weren't in or there was no safe place to leave it. We'll try again on the next working day. That is utter rubbish. We were in all day on 6th (in the front garden at the time the delivery was supposed to have been attempted). Additionally, there is a safe delivery point clearly marked next to the front door. Moreover, I have reviewed the recordings from the security cameras at our and our neighbours properties, and no delivery vehicles whatsoever were present in the lane in front of our property for at least 60 minutes either side of the supposed time of attempted delivery (yet alone any vehicle attempting to deliver to our address). Plus the driver who finally delivered told me he didn’t receive it until 7th. Clearly someone is not being truthful. Yet again Hermes has proved to be unreliable, just as they have done with ourselves and our neighbours on numerous other occasions.

Worst company ever! Promised a next day delivery and not delivered. Called in to find out what was happening, all I heard was exactly what I could already see online. To then receive a list of non refundable items and find out that actually the only thing you can send and be refunded are clothes, shoes, and SOME accessories. Ridiculous! Definitely won't be using this service again and DEFINITELY NOT BETTER THAN ROYAL MAIL DELIVERY as it says on their own website! I NEVER had a problem with Royal Mail in one year of sending items. And on my second delivery with Hermes, it's already been delayed. I'm just glad this happened on the second delivery, just to make sure I won't spend any more money with them! ;)

Shocking service. First item did not arrive. Replacement was out for delivery two days ago but did not arrive. Tracking no use and customer service non existent. Telephone number is a joke as automated service does not recognise what has being said. Online contact form is no better keeps saying item out for delivery on 5th October despite it’s now 7th.

I send a parcel to my family in france parcel was charge my son couldn't afford charge and request send back to me the mum over 4months now am yet to receive my goods no customer phone number to call, only international chatting system none was helpful they all make empty promise send chatting scripts that is useless am yet to receive my parcel I won't use Hermes again and will discourage people from using very poor and bad services.
