Appalling customer service. They've managed to lose a large parcel. Forget trying to phone this useless company as they have a robot voice message that cuts you off. Even with email (which the address is difficult to find) you'll be fobbed off. In this instance they've suggested I take the matter up with Parcels2Go, an onine portal I used to choose Hermes. If you want to lose stuff and enjoy world-class useless customer service - use Hermes

During Lockdown Hermes seems to be the courier of choice for most companies. I can honestly say the man (it has been the same one throughout) covering L19 has been amazing. I can not fault the service. Thank you.

There is a reason they are the cheapest courier, do not use! Lost (probably stolen) another one of my parcels, it was being tracked in their system 'we have your parcel' and stayed on this for weeks. The website stated due to COVID-19 there may be delays so I gave them the benefit of the doubt. After a time it then disappeared from their tracking system. I was told I couldn't claim because I had left it to long to report, i regretted giving them benefit of doubt that the virus had delayed the parcel and was contradictory to their T&C. They also said I could not claim anyway because it was electronic, 'tablet' i noticed was not on the exempt list. the first parcel they lost of mine was a mobile phone which I would class as 'electronic' and after months of going through Hermes claim process, I did get a refund. The live chat and website/customer phone service does not allow you to speak to a real human if you have problems. Just do not use go with another courier or RM and pay the little extra.

Worst courier ever. 1st dealing was at my work. Guy started to kick the door when I could not answer quick enough. I told him to stop kicking the door and replied get to the door quicker next time and he won't need to kick it. out if 10 parcels I have received only 4. 2 saying I requested it to be returned. Complete lies. Other parcels saying I had signed for them. Another complete lie. now waiting on another battery from Germany after the first come back saying I have signed for it. Lies again. Maybe 2nd time lucky. Overall I would sum them up as avoid avoid avoid.

During lockdown we have had no end of deliveries from Hermes and I have to say the delivery person has gone above and beyond as we seem to have endless returns booked that weren't actually required and he's been so understanding I would love to name him but I don't know his name due to the dropping of then standing away he's a credit to Hermes.

Yet another item i ordered online was "delivered'' by Hermes, but where it was ''delivered'' to i have no idea. Not my house anyway or my neighbours. You get an email from Hermes saying that the parcel has been delivered but there is no way to contact them to advise that they have delivered it to the wrong address. I estimate that for every 3 parcels i have ordered and the seller is using Hermes that 1 of those parcels will never turn up.

Keep receiving 'waiting to receive' messages when the product has been sent by the supplier. Order placed over two weeks ago and still waiting for delivery.

Received an email at 19:20 saying they attempted delivery at 19:56 and no one was at home!!. Presumably they time travelled!!! On contacting the company the parcel came from they informed they had attempted to deliver to a business but it was closed however they will re attempt the following day. They are now declining to re attempt delivery until the company contacts them to arrange this. Absolutely shocking service.

This is a warning to future customers. If you are considering using Hermes, think again. Terrible website, non-existent customer service dept. I kept my part of the contract, chose a pick-up date, ordered and paid. Error message appears every time I try to print labels telling me 'this is unexpected'. No it isn't. I happens every time. Nobody has responded to the many e-mails I have sent asking to have the link to print labels resent. My parcel can now not be picked up on the agreed date - and there is a deadline. I really thought they would have rectified this ongoing problem by now. Fix your website, Hermes! What a way to run a company! Frustrating.

Status has sat at "waiting to receive your parcel" for four and a half days after the package was handed over and a receipt obtained in Manchester. Yesterday, "We've received your parcel and sending it back to the sender" from your Weybridhe centre. Today, it's at the Rugby distribution centre... Do you have the first clue what you are doing? Previous packages have been lost, s!ashed, and on one occasion on first delivery attempt, placed in a "secure" recycling bin cleared before we got home. Value for money of your service? Well into mnus rating!

To begin with I have never received a parcel from Hermes in time. Yet another time they Delayed for two days and still lied saying that they tried to deliver it to my address and I wasn’t in. When I was in and my door bell works fine. (I had to double check). Nor did they leave any note that they have been here. I have faced the same scenario just a month ago.

Another "missing" parcel I have used Hermes for Ebay recently, and 2 items have gone missing (out of 10). I have sold on Ebay for years, and using Royal Mail, I have never had any issues. I am so disappointed in the service, will never use to send anything again.

Todasy I received this email from somebody how bought something from me and had it delivered by Hermes: Wow thanks, that’s the most amazing packing I’ve seen, but unfortunately the worst delivery company in the uk managed to damage it, somehow through all that packing you did, Hermes managed to damage badly one corner, I’ve used Hermes in the past and never even now have I ever had a good word for that bunch of retarded parcel delivering idiots, however I’ve managed to repair the corner touched it up and fitted it to my new camper build , so I would just like to say to you thank you very much for your outstanding service, best regards Keith. Very un polite rude drivers they can not even deliver a news paper with out damaging it

Quite possibly the worst delivery service on the planet. Had 5 parcels ordered recently and only one has made it to me. Three were returned by the Dunstable hub that only they know why and the last one today made it to the courier who said that delivery was not possible even though there was someone in the house and there was not a knock at the door.

Tracked my parcel on your tracker page and it's saying my parcel was delivered on Saturday at 12.17 and signed for. Well I was indoors and my husband was in the garden no one came and delivered anything. When i look to see who signed for it your site is saying you're not getting signatures because of virus. It's impossible to get in contact with anyone. Worst delivery company ever.

I want my "next day" parcel that I paid extra for to be delivered to the customer. It was sent a week ago, no idea what has happened to it, robot Holly is pointless, no one answers the phones. Wish I'd used Royal Mail at least we'd have been able to speak to someone if the problem had arisen. My business will not use them again for sending parcels. It was urgent which is why i chose next day - what a joke Hermes !! Don't you realise how frustrating this situation is for senders of valuable parcels who pay in advance for your service, or perhaps you take the money and just don't care. Useless parcel carrier.

What a joke! They always have issues delivering. Even to my shop that’s on a high street and with parking. Other companies deliver all the time with no problem. I’ve had several deliveries from them that arrived badly damaged. Their tracking system doesn’t work and the online virtual assistant is useless. I’m avoiding companies now that make use of Hermes.

We have the best courier Hermes must employ , he’s so lovely and friendly , don’t know his name but he drives a black car , reg “Brookes”. Our friends in other areas of walkden have also commented on his fab attitude , credit to Hermes

Delivery driver never knocked or put a card through the door to say what neighbour has my parcel. Just a email stating it was left with a neighbour, no door number

Yet again parcel arrives, items all smashed to peices. Goods wrapped properly and thoroughly labelled fragile.why does anyone actually choose to use this cowboy outfit. Absolute joke. Drivers rude and not bothered in the slightest.Just say happened in the warehouse.!! Worst delivery company in the country.
