“The worst courier ever! Have waited in a full day and for some crazy reason Parcel Force have decided to split my 3 parcels up so i am waiting on 3 different deliveries from 3 seperate drivers coming from the same warehouse!! Its ridiculous i would never recommend them. Not the 1st bad experience ive had either.”
“Parcelforce used to be good until they were privatised, now they are as bad as yodel.
I ordered a shipment of books two weeks ago, they should have been delivered within a couple of days but the first order was damage to the point that they couldn't attempt a delivery. The retailer sent a second shipment, one out of the three packages has arrived (damaged) by the other two are missing.
Terrible, terrible service.
Well done Osbourne for ruining a once good service with privatisation! Great job!”
“There has been far too many times parcelforce have messed up my deliveries. Dumping the parcel with random neighbours is an issue, and I have clearly stated for them not to do this. But something may be wrong with the education of the drivers as they seem to miss this.
But my current delivery was sent to the wrong address twice as the parcelforce page cut off an extra number from my address, sending it to 1 instead of 12. So once this was discovered I called to sort things out and arrange another delivery, between the assistant and me, we agreed to send it to the local post office. Four days later there was still no sign of it (I was told it would be there the next day), so u called again. Turns out they knew all along that it was too big for the post office, so I have had to arrange another delivery to my address again. And the icing on the cake is that after the whole incident at the start, they still had not changed my address. Maybe too many numbers for them to get their head around, I do not know. But for future orders I will be making sure to never use this company again. If the website I am ordering from only offers this service then I will take my custom elsewhere”
“I'm amazed to see Parcelforce scores one good review. My own experience, it appears in common with many, is dreadful. They are incompetent and arrogant enough not to bother to reply to queries online to their How Can We Help desk (a cynical misnomer). In telephoning to find detail on my delayed parcel, the operator put the phone down on me. Nobody did anything to help with my query - which was where my parcel was and when it would get to me. It was sent 24 Express and took 6 days to arrive - without any explanation or apology, or indeed refund. They are a totally useless company and I cannot understand how they get the business. My parcel was actually sent via DHL from Germany to the UK, and landed up with Parcelforce. They should be avoided at all costs - but it's difficult if they're able somehow to grab stuff that wasn't even sent through them.”
“I wouldn't give a one's tar to this company! Completely rubbish!!! 48h service and I'm waiting one week now!! Contacted them 3 times and every time I am told different things. One guy sends me to another and still can NOT be sure if my parcel will ever be delivered! Unbelievable! AVOID!!!!”
“Just to let all users of Parcelforce know that on Monday 11th January 2016 I received what can only be call unique service, it surpassed my greatest of expectations, at 13:58 the delivery driver in his van raced up my road at speed, stopping at number 16 four doors from my house which is number 8 Eskdale Road (which is located in Whitburn not Amarillo, nor is it paved with yellow bricks, although my name is Yellowley but not Caplin) he jumped out and rang the bell (was it twice, I wonder) He received no answer so proceeded to the back garden where he found a shed (not a cabin in the woods) opening the door he threw the parcel in, writing out a card for number 16 to tell them their parcel had been delivered. He left racing down the road to………hopefully not to Perdition. We know all this because he was caught on CCTV. Well on Tuesday 12th January 2016 I duly noted that my parcel was recorded as been delivered, according to the tracking service. So I telephoned hoping not to be kept hanging on. I was answered by artificial intelligence at first but finally by a human. I was told that they would look into the case, the game was now afoot. The delivery driver was sent out to retrieve the errant parcel. He raced once again at top gear up my road at 14:07 to the door of number 16 (well 2 times 8 is 16) Shock, the occupants were out, the parcel was gone from the secure storage facility in the garden, where he had tossed it previously, he came to tell me at number 8 what he had done, and that he had left a note at number 16. I enquired as to why he had delivered my parcel there (which was correctly addressed, I am no relation to Carlotta Valdes, I began to fee a bout of vertigo) his answer “I had a bad day yesterday”. Now started my almost impossible mission to obtain the parcel, by this time the Police had been informed, but they never became a keystone to the enquries. Well Mr Parcelforce driver you may have kept me on the run but at least the parcel was not doomed, the return to number 16 of the owners at 16:00 hours saw to the exchange and handover of the goods at the garden gate. All number 16 could say was I just do not believe it. So now we know that when we next order 1000 blow up dolls would all nearby residents look out for Batman and Robin and await an unexpected explosion. That’s all folks!”
“ordered from ebay, waited in for 2 days, got my phone number put on the parcel in case of complications, got the tracking number, said that 2 attempted deliveries had been attempted. impossible, i had been indoors for 2 days, no knock, no card, no phone call. absoloutely abysmal service, avoid at all costs”
“I was very impressed with the service I had from parcelforce today, I ordered my daughters birthday present to be delivered in 2 days, they said they would make sure it would b here in time so I was hopeful. On the day I had to pop out and of course I missed when they called, I was so disappointed when I saw the calling card, then later that day the parcelforce man had come back to see if I was in and I was and over the moon that he thought I will just chance it again and I'm so grateful for him as it made my daughters day that her present was here on time. So I would like to thank the driver for trying again and he didn't have to.”
“Ridiculous service. Lied 48h express service has so far taken 8 days and still not delivered. They lied about an attempted delivery and then lied about re attempting the delivery. 5 phone calls and continuosly fobbed off with we will guarantee this goes through. The parcel as i type is still sitting at the depot! Furious and will never use parceforce again. Parcelforce parcelfarce!!!”
“They leave your stuff with random neighbours (we gave no instructions for them to do so), then, when said neighbours refuse to open the door to you and basically steal your stuff they say it's not their problem!
Apparently as long as someone (not the addressee) signed for the parcel they wash their hands of it. Will be careful from now on to never shop with any seller who uses Parcelforce. Avoid at all costs, especially your own sanity - customer service is appaling.”
“Parcelforce have taken our Christmas - If you want to be uninformed and let-down use this absolutely useless service.
A package was posted to me using USPS Priority Service on the 8th December 2015. It was guaranteed to be delivered within 10 days. It has been in the UK since the 12th December 2015 and Parcelforce have been holding it. This was to be a Christmas present, they have ruined that! This is a copy of an email I sent to their Customer service department: "Please can you tell me why this consignment has not been delivered? Why you have failed to contact me, if there is a problem with it? This consignment was posted on 8th December 2015, with USPS Priority Mail, it should have been delivered by the 18th December 2015 at the latest. What is the problem? According to the tracking, the consignment arrived in the UK on the 12th December 2015, where has it been since then? This item needs to be delivered by the 24th December 2015 at the latest. Please let me know how you intend to fulfil this contract. Absolutely disgusted, Mr C Wood." This company does not deserve to be in business. Looking at all the other reviews it would appear that they will be following CityLink. They have ruined our Christmas.”
“Item sent by my daughter with supposed 24 hour delivery. Item did not arrive despite tracking showing delivered and we stayed in all day. Parcelforce say driver delivered to wrong address but cannot remember where. DO NOT use Parcelforce for any purpose.”
“Complete waste of time and money!
I used ParcelForce thinking that I would be getting a dependable reliable and trustworthy service. How wrong I was!
I used the Express 24 collection courier service, the item was extremely well packaged in a double walled box with packing material and clearly labelled as fragile with lots of fragile marked tape.
Item was received broken, having paid for the enhanced insurance policy I was confident it would be covered. I was wrong the list of exclusions is ridiculous it just about exempts everything you could possibly think of. Complete waste of time even paying for it.
Claims department just sent me an email saying rejected due to contents!
The annoying thing is I even phoned and spoke with them, clearly explaining what was being transported and detailed how it would be packed and I was assured it would be treated with care and I was advised to pay for the enhanced insurance option.
From the damage that has been incurred it is clear that the package was either used to step on or had something extremely heavy put on top of it, despite the fact that the package was completely covered in fragile marked tape.
They gave me all the assurances possible that they would deliver it safely in order to get my money and then obviously just did not care! They don't care about complaints or effective resolutions, once you have paid that's that don't expect anymore from them!”
“This collection has been a farce from start to finish. I had arranged and paid for this box to be collected between 9-5 Thursday 17th December. The driver turned up and said he had no room on his van for the box. (Baring in mind I paid extra for a large box courier service and gave all weight and dimensions when booking it). The driver left and said he would return for it later, leaving no card or time details or anything. He did not return. Many phone calls ensued speaking to various people at the Milton Keynes office and nobody could find the consignment number anywhere on their system. I was promised many calls from managers over the following days and I am yet to speak to one about this still. I have sent many emails complaining and received an apology email, which was laughable! No help offered what so ever. For some unknown reason the driver then decided he felt like collecting the parcel again on Friday evening, over 24 hours after it was scheduled to be collected. Luckily the people were home and able to hand the box over. A receipt was given to them from the driver, which has been emailed to me as proof of collection. Hoorah I thought at last it is on its way. I called the Milton Keynes office for an update and to see when I would get my parcel (guaranteed within 48 hours!!!) and oh we are back to square one and the consignment number is still not on their system. Nobody can tell me where my package is, it has vanished. After another frustrating phone call and receiving no information of the whereabouts of my parcel I am now pointed in the claim direction. Hopefully this will not be met with the same resistance I've had for the last few days and will be dealt with efficiently, unlike your packages. I decided to use parcel force as I thought they were an efficient, well run business, but all I have witnessed is incompetence at its best.”
“I have a number of complaints about the 'service' I received today from your delivery driver.
Firstly, my order contained two parcels yet I only received one of the parcels. When I log on to track my parcels, it clearly shows that two parcels were collected by the driver, yet only one was delivered. This was confirmed to me when I called your customer service number to complain - I was informed, as does the online 'track your parcel option', that whilst one parcel had been delivered to me in Coventry, the other was in London and would be delivered to me on Monday. How is this good enough?
Furthermore, as the automated message informed me on the complaints number, I rang the weekend customer service number to complain, only to be told that I cannot complain on that number and to be given the weekday customer service number - which I already had. Why is it not possible to complain at the weekends other than on an online message?
Finally, the delivery driver was incredibly rude to me, aggressive, domineering and, quite frankly, scary. I wish to complain about the delivery driver himself - I was in the shower (as I was not expecting a delivery today) when I heard loud and incessant hammering on my front door that continued for a long time. This was clearly very frightening for me, due to it being both unexpected, extremely loud and sounding urgent. I thought that there was some sort of emergency or perhaps my neighbours were trying to warn me about something. So, I dashed out of the shower and downstairs to the front door (this is not a preferable action to be carrying out when I am 6 months pregnant, especially as I have been in hospital this week with complications and have only been home a couple of days) to find a delivery man across the street, who then started shouting and pointing at me, shouting: "I have a delivery for you!".
I told him I would just be a minute (I was only in a towel at this point, so clearly not dressed to open the door) so I went back upstairs to throw some clothes on when the hammering and shouting began again at my front door! I was at this point feeling very intimidated by the delivery driver and scared, but I did go down and open the door. At this point he was really rude and just shoved the large delivery at me, then seeing that I was 6 months pregnant and unable to carry such a large item he instead just rolled it into my house (with all of the parts rolling around and making a lot of noise inside the box) and thrust the machine that I was required to sign at me before walking off.
I clearly look pregnant (not that this matters) and the way he spoke to me, hammered on the door and generally handled himself was appalling - I'm sure that any woman would have found it incredibly intimidating.
I asked the customer service contact whether you CRB check your delivery drivers and he informed that he didn't know. I would like an answer to this as well. Do you CRB check your delivery drivers or are you sending potentially violent, dangerous individuals to people's homes? I felt incredibly threatened by the delivery driver today and if he wasn't even CRB checked then I would be even more worried.
I want an answer to all of my queries quickly, as I do not believe that I should be made to feel like this in my own home by a delivery driver, who, despite having both of my parcels on the van, delivered one to me and took the other one to London.
I did not choose to use Parcelforce, it was chosen by the company that I ordered the product from, however I would NEVER choose Parcelforce myself now as a result of this.”
“I agree with the poster about delivery from the USA- unfortunately, they handed it off to Parcelforce, and the customer gets screwed. If I could choose 0 stars, I would. This service is a joke, they have messed up delivery 4 times this week alone. They "attempted delivery" twice, while I was home- no door bell ring, no notice left. After calling to question this, I specifically requested the package be left with the local Royal Mail the next day. Instead, they allegedly attempted delivery again- no door bell rang, no notice left. Conveniently, when I called, they told me there was nothing they could do. They said the package was out on delivery today, however when I called back, they told me it had been held up in the depot. No one knows where this package is, customer service is abominable, and I have no confidence I will ever receive this package. Which, by the way, was mailed 18 days ago. So much for being a courier service? Do not ever use this service.”
“I NEVER send post via Parcelfarce as they are an utter joke but recently I have the misfortune of my USPS deliveries from the USA being received and handled by Parcelfarce. Parcelfarce don't know the meaning of the word "urgent" I have been waiting three days for them to simply provide me with a customs charge amount and actual way to pay said charge. I have phoned six times offering to pay to speed things up (since I paid USPS for express delivery) but their customer services and process are entirely inept at handling anything at all in a logical or efficient manner. I feel I will be lucky to receive anything this side of Xmas at this rate, despite wasting a vastly unacceptable amount of time trying to get some sense out of Parcelfarce. They don't deserve to be in business as far as I'm concerned. Don't give them a penny of your money, they'll only mess up.”
“Ordered a hamper to go to Shetland. Checked tracking to find they couldn't find address (12 houses! ) so returned hamper to depot in Aberdeen. Nobody bothered to tell me and there it has sat for 10 days. Appalling. Then tonight M and S hamper going to Edinburgh was delivered in pieces! Smashed bottles and parcel soaking wet. You really couldn't make it up. Absolutely terrible. Spoken to M and S and they tell me they are logging all the complaints. So do not use anything that needs delivering by Parcelforce.”
“parcelforce has just delivered my parcel to wrong address which is a vacant property i phoned parcelforce and was told they would do nothing about it and that i have to sort it myself surely after paying £13.50 charge on top of what the sender paid it should be down to parcelforce to sort out ray friend”
