“Claimed to have attempted a delivery when I was in and never heard a sound. No card was left because they never attempted a delivery. Was waiting for an urgent parcel and then tried to call them to find out what was happening just to be unable to speak to anyone regarding the false claims and attempt to trace down the parcel. It is by far the most frustrating position as there appears to be a total lack of customer care and support. Will defiantly not recommend any one use this highly incompetent company at all.”
“There is no word to describe the level of service this company provides - beyond AWFUL!!! just shocking
Will never use these people again and hope you don't either.
Was sitting at home and instead of parcel I received a card. Guess because parcel is large. Phoned customer service and they are NOT helpfull. People stay away from this company. BAD BAD BAD KEEP YOURSELF AWAY!!!”

“Hopeless company. They had a responsibility to write to us notifying of duty to be paid on a parcel. We had sent it to ourselves via UPS and it arrived in Parcelforce hub on 22 Aug and then at Gatwick Hub on 23 Aug. We only found out the parcel was in the country when we managed to get in to the tracking system. Luckily my husband was able to get to the depot and retrieve the parcel before it was returned to the US. Operative at depot could not have cared less. Stated it was 'not their job' to write to us about duty payable. To add insult to injury, the next day a letter arrived from Parcelforce stating it was a final reminder for the duty payable and that the item will be returned 21 days after it arrived in the depot. This 'final reminder' was sent two days before that deadline and didn't arrive until four days after. We've had no other correspondence at all. We could have lost two art prints that we paid over $350 for. Parcelforce wouldn't have cared. No idea why UPS, who provided a fantastic service at the USA end, has teamed up with this bunch of cowboys. Beware!!!”
“Wouldn't use parcel force again
Paid £91.00 to get parcel to Grantown on spey, 48 hr turnaround, still waiting 5 days later at time of writing,
Will use other next time, 48 hour means a week if you live north of the central belt / highlands

“Worst experience ever and ruined my wedding!!!
I had 3 bridesmaid dresses delivered via parcel force and discovered a message via online tracking saying ‘attempted delivery failure’ I was left a note, and only knew of this from actively tracking it myself.
When I called customer service to explain the parcel contained 3 bridesmaid dresses for my wedding And I needed them to arrive by a particular date and time as my wedding was abroad, they promised me it would arrive the following day.
The next day arrived NO PARCEL
called up - same old LIE and promised it would be the next day and they’d put a note to stress the urgency.....
Guess what...... YEP still no parcel!
And again called up promised the same, and to spare you with all the BS lengths I had to go to, i’ll Cut it short. Today’s the deadline I told them about and I still have NO PARCEL!
Parcel force needs closing down! I wasn’t surprised to see 1* reviews all over google!
Let’s see how much the people who work for them care, when they are jobless because the company crashes because of how unreliable they are.”
“I shipped a parcel from Cambridge to Italy on Monday.
I chose the 3-4 day service so it should have definitely arrived by today (Friday).
But their tracking site first said that it was in transit to Italy and then changed and said it was still in Cambridge!
I phoned their international enquiry line who told me that it must be scanning error. BUT they were unable to tell me where my parcel is at the moment. SO I have a customer in Italy going nuts because I cannot tell him where his delivery is, and Parcelforce's inadequate tracking system cannot tell me either.
I contacted Parcel2Go who handled the booking for me and they were equally unhelpful and thought it might be delivered in a week's time! So why would I book a priority service if it was going to take 2 weeks to arrive.
Utterly useless. So I have to sit here unable to obtain any information and having to deal with an increasingly angry customer.
The lesson here: Don't bother using Parcelforce if you need anything more than a basic slow postal service.”
“Just hopeless. Left my driving licence in the UK on holiday in Italy (my fault agreed, but who has not forgotten something?). I paid for the fastest service (Express 1+ days). Neighbor kindly took package and labels and customs form to local Post Office 1pm on the Saturday. Instead of picking up form from the PO first thing Monday, they erroneously sent courier around to our empty house, eventually picking the package up from the PO at the end of Monday ie wasting one day. The the torture of uncertainty of delivery and inaccurate tracking started. We stayed in our holiday home all day Tuesday, all day Wednesday and all day Thursday in case it was delivered. The latest possible delivery date was communicated to us as being Thursday 8pm. Did not arrive. Tracking info on Parcel Force completely inaccurate compared to Fedex info on what was happening in Italy and Fedex tracking did not reflect what was actually happening in Italy when I spoke to their head office in Milan. My licence eventually arrived Friday morning (flying back soon after so no point in hiring a car now). That is FIVE working days for a 1+ day service. Altogether an expensive and stressful experience. Lessons to share - pay attention to the plus sign on the 1+ day service - it can mean anything despite the marketing illusion of it arriving 1-2 days. Also spend some time reading the tiny links to delivery times in specific countries - they are more like the five days that we experienced.”
“Parcelforce sent me an email to say they had attempted delivery and gave a time. I was in and no delivery was attempted. No card was left and I had to call the supplier to have delivery rearranged for Saturday. Nothing arrived. I was then told to expect delivery between 3 and 4 pm on Monday. No delivery again. I will not be using the supplier again as they use Parcelforce for deliveries. Using Parcelforce will thus damage your brand and trade.”
“what a bunch of assholes parcel force are I sent a metal detector in its original box with a fragile sticker on it and one of there useless employees disregarded the fragile sticker and broke the screen and under there terms and conditions after I paid to have insurance protected I was notified that computer screens ect arnt covered by breakage assholes im gonna take this further and im gonna let customers know when im in a que in my local post office DO NOT SEND WITH PARCEL FORCE TOTAL ASSHOLES”
“I have autistic children who get very upset by someone knocking on the door . So I leave parcels for collection inside a safe porch . Parcels are clearly labelled and a note is left on the door to tell the driver. I have done this for years . I had a very rude unhelpful driver collect from my porch . He told me he would not collect from the porch in future. I complained to the Oxford depot. Absolutely useless. No help at all . Was told the driver felt uncomfortable. Other couriers happy to collect from a safe place. Why not parcel force . Why turn away business. Very upset by this . Parcel force don't care about customers at all . What if I was disabled or elderly and couldn't get to the door .”
“I wouldn't even give them one star. So I don't know what exactly happened. Here's the story:
Delivery supposed to be made between 10am-11am today. Someone signed for it using my initials and it wasn't me. Contacted customer service and they said it's been signed for and that it had been delivered when it WASN'T.
Left a note to my neighbours, no one fessed up. Luckily, managed to approach a parcel force driver and he gave me a number I could call. The operator was really helpful and managed to get the delivery driver to give it to me.
I mentioned it to the delivery driver and he simply said he must have left my parcel at the back of the van. I didn't bother arguing about it and I'm just glad I have it. But what a load of bull! I can't say what happened and can't point fingers because I will never know what happened.
But the fact remains someone forged my signature and if it wasn't the fact I approached a driver in town as I was walking passed and he was kind enough to help me out, I would have never recieved my parcel and I would have been blamed for it.
I am appalled by this. No one knocked on my door, so I know what ever happened, it wasn't good. Next time, they should take a photo and prove that they delivered it to the CORRECT person or even ask for ID. Because people could easily pretend to be you and steal it. And you can't do anything about it. I'm also really frustrated the fact I get made out that they gave it to me. The fact the driver happened to appear and give it to me after all that drama proves someone either stole it or they mucked up big time. Still disgusted that someone forged my signature.”
“Sent two parcels 48 hour delivery monday, at a cost of £13:14p per parcel totla £26:28p and now it's wednesday afternoon and the parcels still haven't been received wednesday, would I reccomend parcel force. absolutely not, I have other parecls to send but will use a different courier from now on.”
“These people are best liars, they don't visit your address for delivery, they don't leave a card but they say they did. All day I am waiting at home for them to do the delivery but no deliver. noone rang the door bell but their website is saying that there wasn't anyone at the address! I think they are trying to get our money by arranging a paid delivery. I cant think of anything why they are behaving like this?”
“Awful service. Tried 3 times to deliver it (in the week when everyone in the family was home / off work / off school). Ninjas! Left a card saying it is at the local depot but I cannot find out where that is. (Or if the parcel is even there.) The website says 'the driver will have left a card telling you what to do next'. Erm, go to the depot? Resorted to writing to their customer service. No response yet. They really are just totally elusive and totally unhelpful. Will be avoiding any ebay seller using Parcelfarce from now on.”
“I sent an item by this company. The first time I had used them. I wrapped a breakable item in about 10 feet of thick bubble wrap and put it in a large sealed plastic bag. Then I wrapped it in about 10 feet of blister wrap. I put the item in a very large box. Packed the item all round with egg boxes and under the item. More blister wrap on top and more egg boxes. Sealed the box which had a huge printed "Fragile" sign. Put on more fragile signs. Guess what? The item arrived broken. To break this item there must have been a concerted effort or recklessness as to whether the item was damaged. I am now £29 out of pocket. Tried to make a damage claim, about 45 minutes later I was still going round the labyrinthine website trying to enter my details which it wouldn't accept. On the order page it said there was no trace of an order.
This firm seems to be a complete shambles. Heaven knows what sort of people they employ. Avoid Parcel Force at any cost.”
“Parcel expected to be delivered yesterday but customer sercive, after i provided all the tracking details, couldnt tell me where the parcel is.
A huge bicycle is missing now”
“I was sent a text saying delivery would be Monday. No show. Another text saying delivery would be Tuesday. Then another text saying that was cancelled and delivery would be next day. Wednesday, no delivery. Still no sign of the parcel. Terrible courier.”
