“I was sent a text saying delivery would be Monday. No show. Another text saying delivery would be Tuesday. Then another text saying that was cancelled and delivery would be next day. Wednesday, no delivery. Still no sign of the parcel. Terrible courier.”
“Absolutely appalling service. They left a card in our enclosed porch on 19th August. Saying sorry we missed you. signature required so parcel returned to local post office for collection.. Strange, as we were in. Just a lazy driver I expect, couldn't really be bothered to ring the bell.
So, I immediately phoned the number on the card and was told that the parcel would automatically be delivered the next day. That didn't happen either, so I phoned again and was told curtly that it would not be delivered now until 27th August. Once again, no parcel. So I phoned yet again, this time I was assured that it would be delivered that evening and that I would get a follow up phone call to make sure that it had arrived. You guessed it. No Parcel, no phone call either.
So today 28th August I had to get a lift to the post office to find out what was happening. Low and behold it was there and had never left.
I told the lady behind the desk what had happened and got no sympathy or apology at all. To sum this up, Parcel-force has completely lost the plot and rank among the very worst delivery companies. They should take a leaf out of the fantastic UPS delivery service.”
“I have clearly had a very similar experience to everyone else using this appalling service.
I was expecting a 48 hour service, not a 350+ hour service.
I have stayed home for 5 days now, each day starting with me making a phone call to the local depot, where I was told each time, "Your Parcel will arrive today".
I have been lied to by the warehouse staff and by the managers on several occasions, stating that the adress on my parcel was incorrect, when it was not.
I will never be using parcel force again in my life.”
“If you have been in and out of prison all your life for theft, fraud, burglary.and are finding it hard to get a job. then look no further parcel force are taking on they get away with the crimes you didn't I know they took £110 of me just like that .”
“If want peace of mind knowing your parcel will be delivered safe and on time and any querys to customer service are dealt with fairly.Dont use parcel force I have never had such a bad experience with any other service then this delivery i paid extra for 48 hour delivery waited in all day nothing went on website to track useless the app just kept saying we have your parcel 3 times I rang customer service and had 3 different stories they blamed the post office for not handing it over to delivery driver on time then they their trackiung system was broken then they blamed royal mail I said but you are part of royal mail and so it went on it was like talking with the chuckle brothers but im not laughing Im £110.00 out of pocket and no sign of my package. never ever will i send anything or recieve anything from royal mail or parcel force again very bad experience.hooray for amazon .”
“Not just bad, appallingly bad. If there were a no star option I would have ticked that, most was down to hopeless Parcelforce but as Parcelmonkey use them it's their problem. I'm now persueing a compensation claim and have demanded my money back. After sales seems to be run from India and there is no hurry to help with every question getting an off the shelf reply, 28 calls,4 promises of delivery and 8 of call backs all lies. Avoid! Stop press! 5 days later and now this shower are hiding behind technicalities to deny me a refund! So their contract to deliver in 48hrs is it seems not worth a jot..in their eyes at least. A small claims court ( which is undoubtedly where this has to go) will I suspect disagree. Parcel monkey/Parcelforce after sales = fob off and excuses nothing more, empty words and straight lies from beginning to sorry end, I would rather walk to collect a parcel than contemplate using these con artists again.”
“Utterly useless - the sooner this company stops trading the better.
No point in recounting the sad story as I can see the same themes repeated over and over again here (and with no comment from ParcelFarce), but well done for: delivering a very valuable parcel to the right house number but a completely different street name and postcode, and even then leaving it with neighbour on yet another street a mile away. And then it just disappeared until £1000 worth of goods appeared on my doorstep, left for anyone to take all through the day. Tried to make a complaint - utterly useless customer service that was rude and dismissive.
Every other courier manages to make deliveries to me and use some common sense, but not PacelFarce.
if you are a retailer reading this and you use this 'service' I will no longer order from you because I would have zero confidence I would ever receive my order.
What an utterly useless 'service'”
“Parcel was damaged in Transit. I entered the information required which failed. And in failure to provide explanation, Lauren my customer service representative, hung up on me. The other day, however, I did have some very useful customer service.”
“If you sell on eBay and use Parcelforce to deliver your items STOP TODAY or you will get bad feedback. This effects your rating and it is difficult to recover from this useless delivery service. The service used was nearly double the cost of other services and totally without control or care. The tracking system creates false information by using the incorrect date to start the procedure just to make them appear to be better whilst still late.
PARCELFORCE = BAD FEEDBACK”
“I am the MD of a small company. Our company had a parcel delivery from RS components from parcel force. I operated the door entry as others were busy, the driver handed me the parcel and assertively asked me for my surname I gave him that, he then demanded my first name, As we are completely plagued by marketing people phoning up and asking to speak to me personally using my first name as if they know me personally, I gave him my initial. When he 'demanded' my first name I said my surname and initial is fine and at that he said as I had the parcel in my hand that's theft if you don't give me your first name. As we have a policy of zero tolerance for belligerence, abuse, bad attitude or unethical conduct I simply handed the item back and removed him from our company premises. I reported the matter to RS Components who were not in the slightest bit interested.
It comes to something when a delivery driver feels empowered enough to act like that in the delivery of a service and then accuse a MD a clients customer of theft.
There is no need for me to add my views on this only to say if any of our employees spoke like that to a client they would be dismissed for misconduct.
We wont want parcel force to deliver to us again and since RS Components use them as a courier we will never deal with RS Components again either.”
“Awful! Not deliver when they mark in their system. Never left a card!!!!
Instead to leave at local post office to pick up they keep it in their depot.
VERY BAD SERVICE”
“The Ninjas of the delivery industry.
Has two deliveries today one was a DPD delivery and the other was Parcelforce. These were in ten minutes of each other. The DPD delivery was successful but apparently I wasn't in for the Parcelforce delivery.... Did the delivery person even knock.... who knows.
Poor service...”
“we ordered a collection -- the driver walked in and while seeing the ordered got cold feet, turned around and left!!!
we called the company and they said they can't get respond from driver so the only thing that can be done is re-book for next day.”
“Awful delivery company, paid for a service for next day delivery sent an email saying delivery will be between 5-6pm, email at 6.20pm saying attempted delivery and sent back to the depot, we were home and we waited, being a FRIDAY evening I guess he had better things to do then delivery our parcel, now I have to put a claim in, NO REFUND OFFERED! I do not have time to file claims for a service I PAID for! DISGUSTING SERVICE ALL ROUND !!”
“I tried to send a parcel via the local post office that uses parcelforce and this was returned to me on the basis of restricted item which it wasn't.
I claimed for a reimbursement on the parcelforce website and they have a put up an incredibly cumbersome system, obviously designed to discourage any claim attempts: you have to register, to given a massive amount of useless and redundant details, and then submit a file with photo of receipts - while they have all data on their records. In the end my 40 quids have disappeared
Next time I will be very careful to avoid this useless service.”
“A zero would be a better option. This is the fourth time that this is happening and it's beyond appalling. Parcelforce should be ashamed.
Whoever delivers on our route always lies that they have attempted delivery, and takes our parcels to the post office for us to collect. If he has attempted delivery, why doesn't he ever leave a card😭
Trouble is, we only find that out when we contact the seller, as the lazy lying delivery driver hasn't attempted to deliver.”
“Diabolical. Cannot deliver in 48 hours as promised ( at a great expense) ..... Twice. Sat in the Gloucester Depot now for 2 days, according to their woeful app. Won't be using them again”
“Lied about trying to deliver a parcel that I'd waited in for. Just sent an email saying I had to collect from post office instead. I tried to schedule redelivery for the next day, which the website said had been a success. Guess what, no redelivery. Tried to contact them, just got automated messages.
UPDATE: I've since complained to the shop sending the item - I think this is the only way to effect any change and I encourage the scores of people on here with the same experience to do the same.”
“THIEVING LYING GROUP
When I was visiting friends in Leeds, I had accidentally left behind my jacket. One of my friends were kind enough to try getting it back to me through postage. Not only have Parcel Force lied about attempted delivery, but they have probably stolen my damn item. My friend said that if they had known that it was going to this "business", they would have found someone else to do it like DPD.”
“A firm who's sole purpose is to move items from point A to point B has collected my 1.5 metre long parcel from point A and now lost it. When I reported this to them they were dismissive and rude. Its been nearly two weeks and I'm fairly sure one of their staff has stolen it. Great. Never use them. Ever.”
