“I reserved a room based on pictures shown on Priceline website. when I got there the hotel & room was nothing like what was advertised. I called immediately, sent pictures to the email address I was provided. Nothing was done!!!! I will never use Priceline again.”
“I paid for a spa room there was not one available when I got to the hotel and I was there early they would not refund my money they tried to give me a Cut Rate room for the same price forget it I will never use Priceline again and I hope no one else does either. Just go to the hotel from now on Priceline doesn't know what they are doing.”
“Claimed hotel a hotel in Chicago had indoor pool. Got there and the pool outside closed for the season. My children is here for spring break and was looking forward to swimming. Really spoiled our trip.”
“I was informed by Priceline that even though I am three months away from the reservation I cannot cancel it. They are ripping people off. I will never use Priceline again and all my friends will hear about them!”
“Not upfront at all about the rental car company location. I called to try to get my money refunded because I bundled my hotel and rental car and found out after the fact that the company is off site from the airport in a very remote and sketchy location. I’m a woman traveling by myself. My flight will not be arriving until late at night. I don’t feel safe with this arrangement. Customer service was not at all helpful or understanding of my situation and refused to refund my money so I will have to eat the cost. Needless to say I will not be booking through a third party like Priceline ever again.”
“Priceline Acknowledges Their Mistake—Still Won’t Refund Me
I booked through Priceline expecting a straightforward experience. Instead, I got a mess. Priceline has now admitted—in writing—that they made an error with my reservation. Yet, despite acknowledging their own mistake, they refuse to issue a refund.
Let that sink in: a company that claims to value customer service is openly admitting fault but still keeping my money. No accountability, no integrity—just scripted apologies and empty “we understand your frustration” responses.
If you’re considering booking through Priceline, don’t. Their customer service is a dead end, and if they screw up, you’ll pay for it—literally.”
“Complaint about my experience with Priceline
I purchased a travel package with Priceline and lost over $5,000. Upon arriving in Florida, the car that was supposed to be waiting for me was not available because the rental agency had closed at 7 PM, while my flight arrived at 9 PM. I was not reimbursed and had to rent a car from another company.
Additionally, the hotel I had booked, which was supposed to be a "spa," was under renovation, and I was not informed. I had to leave with my family and contacted Priceline, but they did not offer any assistance or reimbursement. The response I received was that they could not help me.
I booked everything through this company and was extremely disappointed. I do not recommend Priceline to anyone, as my experience was terrible. Stay away from them!”
“I booked a vacation package through Priceline (Trip Number: 73676929516) and just five minutes after booking, I realized that I had made a mistake with the reservation date—my trip was actually scheduled for the following day.
I immediately contacted Priceline customer service and explained the situation. The representative assured me that it would not be a problem and that the best solution was to cancel everything and rebook with the correct date, as Priceline would issue a refund. Following their advice, I canceled the initial booking and made a new reservation with the correct date.
However, I was shocked to find out that Priceline only refunded the flight and car rental but refused to refund the hotel, despite their own representative assuring me that the full refund would be processed.
To make matters worse, I contacted the hotel directly, and they confirmed that they had no issue with issuing a refund. However, since the booking was made through Priceline, the hotel cannot process the refund directly, as Priceline is the one handling the transaction.
In other words, Priceline itself assured me that I would receive a refund, the hotel confirmed that they would allow the cancellation, but Priceline is still refusing to return my money.
This shows a lack of transparency and disregard for customer service. As a loyal customer, I expected a more honest and flexible approach, especially in a case where the mistake was noticed and corrected within minutes.
If Priceline does not resolve this issue and continues to refuse the hotel refund, I will take further steps to report this practice on other platforms and reconsider using their services in the future.
I expect an immediate resolution.”
“Booked a hotel at a oyo. Paid online but couldn't check in because of a 50.00 cash deposit I didn't have. I had a job interview the next morning. I now can't receive a refund for the hotel I paid for and never stepped foot in. You people are thieves. Stole my money and couldn't stay in the room I paid for. I will never use priceline again period”
“please do not use Priceline again, they made me have a long layover on my international flight whwn going .I cancelled my coming back ticket and they refused to refunds my money until a friend introduced me to forensic-watch who played a crucial role in helping me recover my money.”
“I’ve been charged twice for my Christmas Day stay—once by Priceline and once by the hotel—and I’m beyond frustrated. I’ve been stuck in an endless loop between the two, with neither willing to take responsibility or issue a refund. Priceline keeps insisting they can’t contact the hotel, yet I managed to reach the front desk in less than five minutes. How is this even possible for a company of their size? Both parties keep deflecting, leaving me stuck in the middle of their mess. This is absolutely unacceptable. I’m furious, and you can bet I’ll be leaving negative reviews everywhere.”
“Priceline has become no better than any other business, maybe worse. They have changed their website to where you see a price and the price is now for a standard room. There is no real description of the standard room. They now have a bubble to the right on your screen that encourages you to call them. If you call them, they tell you that there is no guarantee that you can get the room that you want at the advertised price and then start their up sale garbage. When I pointed it out to the person on the phone, I was told that he was there to give me the best deal possible. He told me if I wasn't happy with the service, don't use it. Priceline, welcome to the world of Comcast, Verizon and every other company that is all about money and making customers just another number on a balance sheet. Well done! I will never use this service again!”
“Priceline offers insurance on their flights, and at no point does it say and also confirmed with the customer service supervisor for with the place in the Philippines that has the contract for the phone support does it state that it is through a third party. My father missed his flight because the airlines assistance to him and the wheelchair to the wrong gate. Since the ticket was through priceline the airline cannot assist. Priceline then refers to the third party which you cannot make a claim. When asking for assistance from the phone support agent David and his supervisor i was told it's not their problem. AVOID using priceline and go straight to the airlines. Priceline does not help the customer nor do they care”
“The hotel was so nasty 2 rooms full of mold in Orlando Florida Howard Johnson on international drive.and Priceline don’t want to refund my money after we did not stay there so we had to book somewhere else twice the amount cause of short notice. Priceline is the worst with this situation.”
“STAY AWAY from this outfit!!!! They are VEREYYYY scammy !! EVEN Other travel agents say to stay away from Priceline!! LOOK at their reviews. That tells you everything!!! What does that tell you!! Priceline charged me more for my hotel than what they actually quoted me!! EI: 50% in taxes!! Nobody charges that much tax! Shame on you! Tried to get ahold of someone at Priceline but they have SOOO many phone numbers and and drag it on and on and on hoping that you give up!!
I WILL NEVERRRR EVERRR USE THEM AGAIN!! SCREWED ME ONCE BEFORE SHAME ON YOU... screwed me the second time SHAME ON ME!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!”
“Never ever ever ever use Priceline!!! Especially for car rentals. They charge you the fee up front (non refundable). they let you book the car even if there are no cars available at the rental establishment. The rental company says they have no cars available and you need to take it to with Priceline. Five hours on hold with Priceline before being disconnected (on their end). COMPLETE TRASH!!!! Was told by both car rental places they are discontinuing using Priceline and other third party services due to constant issues like this and they end up looking like the bad guy as they are the ones standing in front of you. Just a matter of time until Priceline is out of business.”
“Please book any trip from priceline.com/booking.com including thru the United Airline vacation package at all. I had been using so many travel websites such as Expedia, Travelocity, Orbits, Costco Travel, Appel vacation, Funjet...., Priceline, Booking.... and you name it.
If you happen to book thru Priceline/Booking and if nothing goes wrong then it perfect but if you are unlucky with something wrong then expecting to spend multiple calls and hours for each call. Howevr, nothing will be resolved. In my case, I booked upgraded room and got the cheapest room and I call... call but nothing resolved then they promised me if I keep the package then they will reimbust me %20 after my trip. I ended up keep the package due to my work and I called after my trip to the reimbursement for multiple times but I got nothing resolve. I gave up due to my blood pressure go up and spend so much hours to each call. I mean 1-3 hours for each call because they keep transfering you around and some time it just disconnect for no reason.”
“Among Harrison's most Priceline CUSt'OMER SERV'ICE 8O5 41O 56OO'Priceline PHONE NUMB'ER noted projects are the Metropolitan Opera House at the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts and the Empire State Plaza in Albany; he also served as Director of on the United Nations complex, which was built on slaughter-house property contributed by the Rockefeller family”
“I booked a room for one night through this platform. When booking the room that I selected, it offered a variety of amenities (kitchenette, microwave, etc.)that were needed during my stay. Upon entering the room, none of the amenities with the exception of a small dorm size refrigerator was present. When I Inquired with the front desk, I was informed that none of the rooms had any of the amenities that were quoted on the site in the actual rooms (even through it says ROOM amenities, not facility/establishment). Due to the event that i had scheduled and the time frame that i had, I had no choice but to stay. Once I reached out to Priceline line about this matter they offered a 5% ($4.30)refund, that could be used on the site at a later date. I was also told by a representative that I should have researched the hotel a little better, than what I had to know that it didn't have those amenities in the room. Since I've been in contact with Priceline, it has become a back and forth on trying to resolve this problem. Even though my itinerary shows which room I reserved, it is the only room that offers the amenities that i am complaining about (no other room offers this amenities).”
