“failed to collect parcels on couple of occasions, cant find out what is going on. just told to cancel & rebook or ask for a refund, but cant request a refund online i have to fill out a form & post it to them.
made difficule to get a refund so they can keep my money & hopefully spend it on customer service”
“Beware they are thieves they stole my expensive package and didn’t even bother to search it they don’t give you any information about it and at the end they just pay small amount as a compensation after that.
After reading a lot of reviews on them I think it’s a strategy by there own workers they steal your expensive package with out sending it and when you claim they just pay like 50£ even if your package worth a lot more than that like in my case more than 500£”
“Royal Mail have surpassed themselves again a package which is Special Delivery Gaurentee next day 1pm was posted Thursday15th June, NO Delivery Friday 16th June after staying in all day
A tracked 24hr parcel posted Friday 16th and arrived Saturday 17th June
However the Special Delivery is still missing NO trace, NO Delivery, NO update on tracking
You moan and complain that you deserve fair pay, treatment, conditions yet you don't care about the customer and the inconvenience you cause us
A service was paid for to ensure it arrived in plenty of time and yet you don't even have the decency to deliver pointless having a service if you can not honour it
You try calling Royal Mail Customer Service for the voice activated message there is a wait time of 90 mins
Poor service all round and a very disappointed small person regarding his item.
Guess it's time for another form of service to take over and deliver what they say they are gonna deliver with the service paid for”
“We left home early Monday morning 5 June for a flight from Manchester to Kefalonia. Unfortunately we forgot to take a small pack of photos with us that I really wanted for the holiday. Whilst at Manchester airport I googled Royal Mail and found they did a ‘tracked, traced, and signed for service with delivery times of between three and five days. A friend took the photos to Elland post office that Monday afternoon and the tack and trace showed the parcel was at Leeds depot at about 8pm the same day. For the last twelve days I have tracked the parcel. The two photos show its progress!! I contacted Royal Mail customer services eventually (after a 55 minute delay listening to piped music) to be told that the parcel had definitely left the UK and should reach me by the weekend. The latest of the two screenshots taken this morning show it supposedly left the UK this morning so no chance of it arriving here before we leave for return flight on Monday morning 19th
An absolute joke. 12 days after being posted it finally leaves the uk.

“What has happened to Royal mail?? Everything ordered that is through RM there is an issue , or the product just doesn't arrive. Tried to resolve an issue today on the phone, got passed around and then cut off, this is so sad to see such a decline that was once the best service in the UK for delivery.

I complained to RM and the response was that they are very sorry and can understand my concerns....that was it. No explanation of what has happened or what they are going to do about it.

“My parcel has been stuck at LANGLEY HWDC for 21 days, it is supposed to get to its destination from posting in 5-7 days! Disgraceful, royal mail customer service told me to contact Langley although gave me no contact details at all! Why should I when I used Royal mail to provide my service not Langley!! Terrible customer service no updates for track and trace and an important document is floating about somewhere in Langley U.K when it should now be in Australia with its rightful owner!!! What a stupid system this is.. total faff. Instead of being able to simply collect my parcel from my lovely local post office, I now have to go online to arrange a redelivery when it could all be done & dusted by now. & the kind lady in the post office agreed how rubbish this new system is, as I may end up having to drive half an hour into my neighbouring town to sorting office! My local post office is a 5 minute walk from my house!!! Haha & all this when apparently we're supposed to be helping with this climate issue (even tho we all know that's a load of rubbish but there you go).. Whatta set of clowns.”

I would have rated Royal Mail lower than 1 star, but you have nothing less here. What a load of rubbish service they are running... "undelivering" and "redelivering" with this new system of theirs. They need DELIVERANCE from their ineptitude. Must be a bunch of airheads managing their operations, yet they have the audacity to brag about being a "green business entity". Please tell me how do you attempt redelivery on a working day over and over when evidently people are at work? To make matters worse, the courier arrives at irregular times contrary to advise given to customers who try to look out for the next redelivery. Even the postmen themselves are fed up of inexplicable answers to complaining customers and appear embarrassed to be wearing the uniform when accosted with queries. Well here's a solution; AUCTION THE ORGANISATION TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER IN THE BUSINESS. What a shame!”

“Royal Mail has let me down once again. Their t&cs and policies seem to be used a lot to get out of situations.
A recent one is where I've sent a parcel to a buyer, tracked 48 service. The buyer contacted me to say where is my item, checked the tracking and no update on it so I thought it was lost. However it turns out the item was being held at a sorting office which no update or note had been given. Now I hear its being sent back to me and they are not willing to refund the postage.
Seems very silly and for Royal Mail to say it what not their fault makes them look silly. Carol Elmes who I have been dealing with is now saying shes not going to reply to any of my messages regarding this issue.
Very poor service.”
