Could a company be this inept! No staff understand anything. They read off a script and are completely unable to attend to simple complaints such as being told to enter a contract but if you have to you can terminate the agreement with no charge instead we were charged, contract started few months back naturally was better to not enter one but obviously sales rep wanted her commission so lied. All reps are foreign and don’t understand the English language well instead they repeat the script, I would like to help you and make sure you are satisfied with me etc etc what makes it worse their lines had issues with 10 seconds delays … can you believe it a telephone firm where it sounded like the line was from 40s and they apologised so had to say something and wait ten seconds for them to receive your voice note … unreal by a firm providing phone services so what does that tell you about them!!

My line was upgraded to full fibre recently but I was not told that by accepting the upgrade I was effectively agreeing a new contract. my previous benefits were cancelled and new charges were put in place. I only realised this had happened when the new bill arrived. It has taken me 4 days to query this and the response is simply that you have agreed to the upgrade. I am leaving Talktalk and will let everyone how bad they have been.

Genuinely the worst customer service that I have ever experienced. Nobody knows what they are doing and constantly swap from one agent to the next. Took me over a week and easy 8 hours to resolve ab issue whereby they had put an incorrect charge on my account.

Every 6 month the router fails. It's takes days to get the message across and talk talk done seam interested in fixing any problems. Always sending you round in circles. Poor as you can get .

Talk talk persuaded me to stay with them and offered me a new router and booster as I was out of contract. After two days of the new contract the signal was dropping and we were unable to use phones iPads etc. I have tried the technical support. But was told after 14-16 days I was unable to cancel my contract and would have to pay a fee for no service. I would urge people to think very carefully before opting to go with this broadband provider. I will never use them again.

Firstly I would like to start at point of sale , I will explained that I would not be in the premises until the 30th October so they decide to arrange an engineer for the 20th also send the router for the same date , nobody is at the premises until this time !! Secondly using the many departments to get through to the right possible is near impossible three hours later spoke to someone that understood what I had asked . departments always busy so good luck with that cancelled the account in the end thought if I ever had a problem forget it no chance.

Like so many people commenting on here, talktalk are the biggest joke of a company around. Was more than happy to move from Virgin over to talktalk for full fibre (as advertised on their website as being available) day of the installation came “sorry we can’t do it the cabling needs to be done” ok fair enough but my internet runs out on 20th. They rebooked it for then and I thought all these people saying how bad they are must be mistaken. Received a text on the week of the installation saying it had been put back even though openreach assured me this had been rectified. Called them and they said that I have to go 3 weeks with no broadband and they didn’t care. Offered me £80 to buy mobile broadband and didn’t give a rats ass that it wouldn’t be suitable for me. Had a call from complaints who kept repeating that they offered me £80 so I told them good luck getting the routers back they sent as I feel that is just the right amount of compensation for me and that I shall speaking to the ombudsman. Terrible terrible company who, if they treat brand new customers like that I feel sorry for the existing ones

worst customer service on the planet- long waiting times- they don't listen or seem to understand the english language- so bizzare and they bill you for absolutely any and anything. they randomly blocked me from using VOIP which means i can no longer work from home- so now im dreading having to ring them to sort this because they cant even resolve simple billing issues.

Internet connection issue The internet stopped working. They weren't able to find the issue and after 5 days they booked an engineer. After the engineer checked the line he told me and I quote " Your line has been CEASED by mistake. Your provider needs to UNCEASE your circuit and switch it back " After chatting with 6 people on talktalk customer service and 6 different departments they were unable to find the issue. They refuse to send me a deadlock letter or to confirm talktalk is a CISAS member. Worst customer service, worst ISP. If I could rate 0 stars I will do it. Ofcom reported, next will be CISAS. The issue was first reported on 21.09.23 and still not resolved. AVOID talktalk. Poor and slow connection when worked, tech department only knows how to reset a router, nobody knows how to solve an issue.

Barely trained, meaning little knowledge or technical skills to resolve customers problems, full fibre installation problematic from day one, engineers miss multiple appointments when they do install it ,bad workmanship no line test undertaken, talktalk router useless combined with engineers not doing a line test, takes weeks to get sorted as customers services do not have the technical skills to fix it,you will spend hours on phone text live chat, being put on hold pushed to different departments asked non essential meaningless questions that make no sense, if you would like 6 weeks of living hell, with no internet and little hope of getting it ,then talktalk is for you.....

Haven't even had the full fibre internet installation yet and already had problems with them Booked a date through their booking system, then got a message from openreach stating a different date that I couldn't do. I had cancelled my current provider based on that initial installation date. Tried the talk talk customer service massaging chat. Completely useless, never answered a question with any conclusion or help, just saying book another date that openreach send me. Not the point when I have already booked the date with them. So told them I wish to cancel the order, they gave me the incorrect number to ring so had to look that up myself and now been told it will take 7 days to complete the cancellation, They set the direct debit up quick enough though. Shocking service really stressful

My experience with TalkTalk has been deeply frustrating. Hours spent on phone calls and chats, only to be repeatedly hung up on, have not only wasted my time but left me feeling incredibly stressed and anxious. What's even more disheartening is that instead of offering compensation, TalkTalk attempted to add more fees to our bill. At that point, I was so stressed that I simply let it go, prioritizing my health over the battle. It's clear that they made every effort to avoid taking responsibility for their poor service and customer service. I strongly recommend finding another provider to avoid similar issues.

Utterly mindless customer service. My connection has been intermittently dropping out for the last week, and each engagement with the tech team via chat has resulted in the same 1h+ long fruitless endeavour going through the same routines, with no progress being made. After the 4th or 5th call, where I again asked for an engineer to be sent around, they said an engineer would be chargeable!! Criminally bad, would never use talktalk again

Have had three connections issues in the last month. Lost 4 days of work. Talk talk have ran 7 tests before they were willing to send an engineer and now still no connection. Been on their chat for hours and them asking the same questions over and over again. I am so fed up and they are unhelpful and will not help. Still no connection and still no engineer. Issue been going on repeatable for months. This is the worst one as no connection for 4 days. Although apparently someone will ring me on the 6th October. Terrible am so upset, need to work and can’t.
