This company are a disgrace to the travel industry. Customers have not been refunded, as per the law! Some are waiting for refunds for holidays cancelled in March! Their call centre are an embarrassment to customer service teams the world over; they are rude, transfer you, leave you on hold and often hang up after you’ve waited over an hour to get through. They tell lies, do not return calls, do not answer emails and, if you’re lucky enough to get through, they will tell you anything to get you off the phone. This company have allowed passengers to arrive at their dream holiday destination with no transfers or accommodation! They should never be used and if you do, that’s a pretty hefty risk; just ask the thousands who are now reclaiming THEIR OWN money through the courts! Absolute shower if 💩

Awful awful company and won't be dealing with them again, if ya flights get cancelled they will not tell you, if ya hotel is closed they won't tell you if ya holiday has altogether been cancelled its a nice long wait for ya refund if ya lucky enough to receive one. KEEP AWAY FROM THEM!

What a complete nightmare with this company. They will hold on to your money for as long as they can. It feels like they just want you yo forget about your money ( £2700) my holiday was cancelled in June. I've taken it up with my bank now to get it back. Teletext didn't even have the decency to tell it was cancelled. I had to find out about my self. Terrible customer service.

Owned by Truly Travel. Score would be -10 if I had my way. Dispicable company, who just takes your money and doesn't refund when holiday is cancelled. They are rude on the phone (when you can get through) they put you on hold for 40 mins and run your phone bill sky high. Abusive staff, constant lies and broken promises for over 4 months now. Had my money 15 months and not a penny back. They ignore emails, messages and wonder why people are upset. to be honest I have only given 1 star as 0 isn't available. My holiday was cancelled due to covid19 just like so many others I had to battle for a refund. Endless calls and emails. No uk based offices. Rude aggressive advisors based in India. Worthless credit notes issued. Lie after lie. I would advise anyone wanting to book a holiday to give this company a wide berth. No customer care. No respect. Do not use TELETEXT HOLIDAYS.

Jesus dont touch this company. It took me 6 months,80 web chats,countless emails and a drive to Richmond to get anywhere. They will happily take your money and run. The call centres in India just read from a script. Go to facebook and type teletext holiday nightmare for evidence of their scamming

Teletext Holidays is the worst holiday agency I’ve ever witnessed. I was part of a group of three eighteen year old girls that was abandoned in spain because they informed that our hotel and holiday was still available, even when the hotel was closed. We were offered a replacement hotel, however the company refused to pay it by giving the hotel incorrect details so the transaction could not go through. This meant that we were stranded and vunrable in a foreign country with no place to stay or a way home. So, to get a roof over our heads we had to pay the replacement hotel our entire stay from our own pocket, because teletext said we would be refunded the next day. We have tried to get or refund through three different methods, all which were ‘guaranteed to work’ and have still yet to get anything from them. Our next step now has to be to take further legal action because of their unprofessionalism and inept to run a business. Please never book with this company it’s dangerous and disgusting!

f I could give -100 I would !! I booked my holiday in December before Covid or my knowledge of it and due to Ryanair being twa*s that they are they told me I could ‘use it or loose it’ therefore I was forced to go on this holiday. However I rang Teletext to make sure my hotel was fine due to lockdowns in Gran Canaria and they told me it was all good. Turned up to Gran Canaria and I was told by the transfer that my hotel had been closed since March !! Teletext did give me a new hotel however once arriving the new hotel hadn’t received The funds from teletext. Called teletext multiple times over a 4 HOUR! period stuck in the hotel lobby. Every call ended in a different statement.. ‘we will transfer the money now’ ‘the finance team are on it’ blah blah blah bullshi* ! In the end they asked us to pay for the 10 days at the new hotel which I did otherwise I’d be homeless. They then said they’d pay the hotel the next day GUARANTEED!! Come the next day the hotel didn’t get the funds then I called teletext again !! Then the agent asked for my card details and he said I’d get a refund in 4 days!! 4 days later nothing !! Every time I’ve rang they’ve said something different and forgotten what they previously promised !! Absolutely vile !! This company is a scam and don’t care about their customers please go elsewhere!

Teletext owe many people lots of money. The amount they owe me is small in comparison to most but principal matters. We were dropped off at the wrong hotel2 hours away and when I called them and actually got through they told me to pay for a taxi to our hotel and they would reimburse me. Taxi ride was 2 hours 134 euros! Emailed them rang them and nothing!! Probably wont get our money back but I will carry on writing bad reviews about this joke of a set up. Hope they go bust

Due to COVID my holiday costing nearly £2k was cancelled in March. I could not claim a refund until July 31st despite the fact that Easyjet sent them over £1k refund for flights in early June. Countless emails and unanswered calls, I eventually claimed the money back via my Virgin Credit card who will now chase Teletext for the refund. I would recommend doing this as all I get from Teletext is generic replies and no refund. DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM

Plz people don’t even book with this company I’ve been trying to retrieve my money back for some time now and all’s I’ve had is false dates there’s no customer support no communication I’ve been left in the dark like many others avoid avoid avoid plz people

I always book my holidays through Teletext. However, my holiday in May was cancelled due to Covid and I still have not got a refund. They do not answer their phone, they delete any Instagram comments and send generic replies on Facebook. Absolutely disgusting and I am fuming! I had only made one payment by the time Covid hit but was told to keep up my payments or I wouldn't get my full refund. Just constant lies!

Holiday cancelled due to Covid. Granted, this was out of TTH control. However, we have waited months for our refund. Told end of July- Nil refund. Told end of Aug- Nil refund. Now told cash will be refunded be 30th September. Our flight provider confirmed flight money had been refunded last month, yet we are still being fobbed off by TTH. Will never book with this company again. Absolute joke.

Holiday cancelled in March, 2020, and still awaiting return of £1600, which Teletext continue to say is still held by airline. Will not now answer "CUSTOMER SERVICE" telephone calls. I am one of hundreds and see Reviews of the Company under Teletext Holidays. I.e. scrawl down. PLEASE BE WARNED

Me and my friend booked to go to Paris in March, the holiday got moved to September due to COVID, now its due to happen in a weeks time and we are unable to go, Easy jet have cancelled the return flight and we have requested a refund from Teletext who have refunded us a partial amount of £120, everytime we ring we get through to someone who places us on hold for longer than half an hour or they cut you off the call. They're rude and unorganised. I will definatley be telling everyone not to book with teletext and to go with a reliable company.

PLEASE DO NOT BOOK WITH TELETEXT HOLIDAYS..... PLEASE! I DON'T WANT ANYONE TO GO THROUGH WHAT I AM. I'm a single parent and Teletext have left me with £1.00. Teletext Please refund my £3704.00 (TT783896) so I can feed my child and get out of debt. You have taken over £3k out of my account without authorisation on the 12th June 2020 (my son's 5th birthday). I only knew when I went to pay for his gift and shopping for my children because my payment rejected. After many phone calls and being cut off several times. I was apologised to and promised a refund by Cheryl on the 18th June 2020 which would take 4-7 days, on the 23rd June 2020 by Miles, 29th June 2020 by Saiz (he said my holiday was cancelled and the automatic payment marker was removed, why was this on there when it was confirmed that I would receive a phone call by Shasi to pay any outstanding balance which was due on the 29th June 2020), 15th July 2020 by Ned (he called me to say holiday cancelled and £3704.00 will be refunded in 4- 7 days), 27 July by Dennis (he said that I will be refunded on the 31st July 2020). They then confirmed via email it would be on the 31st August 2020 but still nothing. I am also still waiting for the cancellation email as promised. I have also sent numerous emails explaining that I have no money to feed my children and that I'm a single parent but they don't care. I am sinking into more debt everyday and suffering from stress. I can't believe that this company say that you can book with confidence and yet they treat there customers so appallingly. Teletext your customers buy hoildays from you in good faith and trust that you will do the right thing. Please do it.
