AVOID. This company also trades under the name ALPHA ROOMS and TRULY HOLDINGS. Not even covered by ABTA If there was an option for 0 stars, I’d of left that. Holidayed in Turkey in Sept 2020 and booked Hotel and transfers with AlphaRooms. We were left stranded at the airport in the early hours as our transfer didn’t turn up, tried all week to contact them but no success. The hotel tried at the end of our holiday when we were concerned our transfer may not turn up again, It didn’t. Hotel tried and managed to find the taxi company that AlphaRooms had booked through and they explained, and printed off proof in writing, that “AlphaRooms had cancelled our booking”. It cost us another £100 to pay for taxis both ways. On our return I have tried and tried to contact them, over twenty emails, numerous phone calls, even getting to speak to a foreign rep that said “they would pass on our concerns by internal email to “customer relations” and they would contact me within 28 days”, of course, that hasn’t happened. Apparently “there is no direct route to Customer Services, by phone or email”??. I contacted ABTA who are the Regulatory Body for all reputable travel companies but guess what, ABTA explained that AlphaRooms are not a member!! That says it all really. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY, they charge fees for even the most smallest amendment but should you encounter a problem whilst abroad or at home, you will not be helped, or even responded to. AVOID AT ALL COSTS...

Teletext are dreadful, they have handled the whole Covid-19 situation so badly, all you get is lies, being pushed from pillar to post, and just when you think you’re getting somewhere, you’re back to square one! I have been a customer for decades, but I will never book a holiday through this company again! They give you the impression that they are crooks, doing everything they can to avoid refunding your money, giving you every excuse under the sun! I get problems can happen, but it’s how you put it right that counts, and 7 months on, they still haven’t!!!

DO NOT USE TEKETEXT HOLIDAYS!! I am totally disgusted by this company. They are liars and fraudsters! My holiday was cancelled in March due to COVID and I am still chasing refund! There’s is no Live Chat- total SCAM. They keep telling me to wait 3 weeks, it’s been 8 months! They told me I should take up my flight refunds with Ryanair, yet Ryanair have confirmed my money is sitting with Teletext holidays. I am still waiting for flights and hotel to be refunded. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! WE NEED TO TAKE THEM DOWN!! Liars. Literally illegally holding on to peoples money to fund their cash flow. UNACCEPTABLE and DISGUSTING TT768334

I have booked a holiday in the beginning of July 2020, the holiday was cancelled due to COVID and following countless phone calls, emails, promised refund to my account, it is now November and Teletext has STILL NOT GIVEN ME MY MONEY BACK. This is fraud. And someone from higher management should take control and help people like me which have to deal with problems that customers should not have to go through! I have been ignored for my refund of £3500. This is completely unacceptable. DO NOT BOOK WITH TELETEXT!!!! THERE IS NO LIVE CHAT. IT IS A SCAM.

If I could rate 0 I would. Disgusting. Refusing to give us back our deposit after Ryan air cancelled our flights in may. I’m going to have to do a charge back on the credit card. Horrendous company to book with. Do not use

Teletext robbing, cheating scumbags. Never book a holiday with this joke of a company. I’ve had enough and taking them to a small claims court to get my £3700 back from a holiday cancelled in May. Sick to death of just being ignored by this scandalous company. They need closing down. TT773442

Discusting AVOID AT ALL COST SO RUDE, THEY HAVE STOLE OUR MONEY, they Lie they cut you off, we are still not getting our refund i have rang 20 times and each time they say they will credit us in 7-10 days. NO MANAGERS CANT SEND EMAILS AND CANT TRANSFER CALLS...THEY ARE RACIST

I would not advise anyone to book with TELETEXT HOLIDAYS!!!! I paid for my Holiday May 2020 with was cancelled in July 2020 and I am still DESPERATELY waiting for MY MONEY back!!! I have called over and over again as well as emailed. I have been given differing answers and advice by customer services or put on hold for over and hour only to be told they DONT KNOW when I will get my money back. Live chat, they wont accept queries through RESOLVER and my emails are not replied to. Its Absolutely DISGUSTING!!!!!!!

I advise anyone against using this company. They clearly do not value their customers! Such a poorly managed company and customer their service is a disgrace. I had a holiday booked with teletext holidays for a trip to Spain on the 14th of June which of course was cancelled due to Covid 19. I was initially under the impression that as a customer that has brought something that had not been received that surely I would be refunded promptly, besides consumer rights and all that.. Well consumer rights doesn't seem to apply to teletext holidays for some unknown reason? Regardless of that I was very understanding given the circumstances and feel I have been very patient considering its almost 5 months following the date I was supposed to travel and have still not received a refund.. This entire process has been nothing but stress especially upto recent as it just seems as though they have no intentions to give me MY money back. From the start to now I have received no guidance or advice that has been of any benefit, teletext has completely dismissed my questions, I have received minimal correspondence, I have been given false information and have been lied to on multiple occasions and they have even taken money from my account following me telling them via live chat and email not to as the airlineprovider had already confirmed that the flights were cancelled, so there was absolutely no reason for any further payments to be taken from my account. It is over a month since receiving any correspondence from teletext holidays, which their last email was advising me to contact them again in 4 weeks time so they could further assist me.. I have done exactly that yet still no correspondence? Teletext always seem to pass the book that they are waiting for their suppliers? Well I and many other customers did not book through your suppliers, we booked directly through teletext holidays so it is your responsibility to resolves these issues not your suppliers. Teletext do not want to refund people what is rightfully theirs because of the financial impact it would have on their company hence the ridiculous delays. It does not matter to them that in such difficult times many people have found themselves in financial crisis and actually need this money, so long as their company isn't affected right? Well it is NOT the customers responsibility to finance teletext holidays to ensure that they aren't financially affected! I am most disappointed in teletext holidays as I truly thought it to be a trusted holiday provider with such long standing, I can now see how wrong I actually was. I will persevere until I get MY money finally returned to my account even if that means that I have to take the legal route to do so! I advise everyone to keep an evidence log of all correspondence as I have just incase the legal response is your last option. There is much more I could add but I think this should give others sufficient awareness not to gamble their hard earned money with such a poorly managed company.

I booked a flight and hotel for 16 people to Kos for my wedding. We were due to get married in June but got postponed to September because of covid. Six weeks prior to us traveling I found out that the hotel was not open. I tried to contact teletext ie emails, phone calls but to no avail. No response from them. In desperation I had no option but to find a hotel that could accommodate our party and pay yet again. On the way to the airport I got a phone call from teletext to say the hotel was not open and they had found us another hotel. I told the lady on the phone due to being unable to contact them I had no choice than to find an hotel for ourselves. She was very understanding as I explained that we were on the train going to the airport. And had not heard from teletext re Hotel closure. Now we are trying to get our money back for hotel. They said we are not entitled to a refund because they found an alternate hotel.. They owe us an apology for all the stress and uncertainty, for what should have been a memorable occasion. Plus a refund for the hotel.

Ref no TT783923. Do not even consider to use Teletext for a holiday , Booked holiday in February, Ryanair changed flight details and issued a refund which went back to the card it was paid on (Teletext master card) have rung teletext numerous times which can take anything up to two hours to get through only to be told they haven’t received it off Ryanair , which I know is not true ,sending emails every week which they do not reply too ,This is my money and as far as I am concerned this is Tantamount to theft so I am now resorting to take legal action as I don’t see why this company should get away with this , If anyone else is thinking about using Teletext holidays my advice is DONT, Worst company I have ever had to deal with and customer service is non existent!! No Stars.

WE NEED TO TAKE THIS COMPANY DOWN! DISGUSTING WAY TO TREAT PEOPLE AND THEY ARE GETTING AWAY WITH IT! WE NEED TO DO SOMETHING! March 21st was when are holiday was so suppose to happen and we are still awaiting are refund! Absolutely disgusting company who each time we call tell us some utter rubbish. Promised refund on several occasions but now in November still no money returned to us! Last phone call we made was 31st October this is the date when we were told are refund would be received. No refund received so we made another call this time we were told we have one more process to go through. We need to email the finance department then we can get are money back! Week later no communication from anyone from teletext! LIES LIES LIES LIES!

I have always booked with TT but not anymore. Trying to get my refund for my holiday is a nightmare they have been so rude and keep putting the phone down after I waited an hour to answer. Emailed numerous times to no avail. Unfortunately I have had to do a charge back through my bank. I am so disappointed with this company is an understatement. There are thousands of us in this situation the media have been in touch think the ball will get rolling now because so many have complained. BEWARE IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A HOLIDAY WITH THESE DO IT AT YOUR OWN PERIL Please TT don't answer by saying get in touch because you never do!!!

Teletext holiday are answering our complaints through the reviews we putting on and guess what just signing the same hymn to everyone again pass on and be in touch when??Do not touch teletext holidays with a barge poll they do not do as they say and 6month after holidays cancelled we are still waiting
