Do not book with this company service was good until they took my money and then to get told it hadn’t been booked, I couldn’t get through to the person that originally booked it and everyone was unhelpful as they said I could only speak to that original person, my Money was taken in minutes yet no holiday, and to be told the refund would not be 24 hr it will be 5 days after chasing it today, I am suppose to be going on holiday tomorrow with my daughter who’s 8. Absolutely joke! No holiday was ever being booked and don’t know when they would have rang to tell me this just hope customer support provide a better service

I have returned from holiday staying at the Eagles Nest Peskos which when advertised was stated as having luxury rooms and sea views. The hotel beds were rock hard the food was so awful,cold every day.my daughter got a kidney infection along with two others that week.It cost me 140 euros to see a doctor and get antiobiotics.

Waiting ages with an extremely rude man called akon on the 02890119974 number. He eventually returned to say live price was exactly the same.. First suspicious move. He then got very rude with me re was I gonna book or not, when I asked which holiday company he works for he hung up. Obviously scammers advertising on teletext holidays

Planned a family trip and paid upfront expecting a 5 star hotel as that’s what i booked but was taken to a 3 star hotel. When called to say this isn’t the hotel i booked they said apparently the hotel that i originally booked was under refurbishment (which isn’t true because i went to see the hotel and it has been closed for 4 years).They didn’t ring to tell me this and just sent us to a shitty hotel which was unclean with plug sockets hanging off the wall the floor was disgusting and the hotel food was just horrible. Throughout all my holiday i’ve had an upset stomach. When called teletext holiday and told them i was going to raise a complaint if they didn’t move me to a better hotel as that’s what i paid for they said to me to do whatever which i thought was unprofessional. Throughout all my holiday i’ve been ringing them to speak to a manager as we had young children and the hotel was unsafe as well as unclean. No one called me back everyday i was told a manager would call but nothing. All i can say i will not be using teletext again they false advertise stuff they all are unprofessional and unhelpful they are rude and have no people skills at all.

They took £1.3k from my account for a holiday, but after providing them with all the relevant documents they said the package was no longer available. They refuse to provide me with a receipt and insist that I pay more money for a different package. They refuse to provide a cancellation confirmation email or an email that i payed for the original booking at least, and they will not give me my money back. It has been over a week and I'm still waiting for my money. They are not interested in helping resolve the issue, and are very arrogant and have been giving me the run around. I WANT MY MONEY BACK.

Terrible experience. Phoned to book holiday I saw online. Was told it was no longer available. Offered me a different holiday which was higher in price which was supposedly a cancellation deal. Thought it sounded like a good deal, took my payment details and details from passport even asked to send picture of passport for ID. Sent me confirmation of details and booking quote, they then took my payment. Was kept on hold for over 10 mins only to be told the holiday I just booked is no longer available ( yet also telling me it had just gone up in price of over £300). i spent over 2 hours on the phone trying to get this rectified as I didn't wanna lose my holiday. Kept offering me different holidays as I'd paid but in the end I gave up and asked for refund. Also requested proof that I had paid by sending me a receipt to my email at least but was told that was impossible. Was also told it will take 3-4 working days for my refund. Needed my money back Asap so spoke to manager who told me will transfer my money back and should get it back same day. Didn't receive funds so phoned back, got passed around to 6 different people as no-one wanted to deal with my query was told someone would call me back. No call so I called again to be told my refund had been processed but haven't recieved my money! Still waiting for refund with no holiday.

Just called 015134470001 as I work for BT this would be a geo no linked / diverted to a main no not in that location so I spoke with Brad and as I’ve got some sales experience and experience of working for a company who outwardly portrays a professional legitimate company is a COWBOY OUTFIT ! I’m really surprised that they even booked holidays that’s how mike mouse they were Anyway they’ve got my house no now because you can only go so far on their website you cannot book on line you’ve got to call them or get a call back I’m just a fella trying to book a little break for me spouse of 33 years and out Grandchildren you don’t need rats like these which leads me to my advice that someone else commented like Stay away like the Plague

IF you like to be told compete and utter lies from start to finnish this is the place for you,truly disgusted with teletext holidays rudest customer care staff on the planet,that is if you can understand them.Told that hotel i had booked and payed in full for had no rooms left.Managed to book same hotel same dates and room from a real holiday company. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Not to be trusted, promised a first class transfer from airport only to be standing on an old bus, fit for the scrap yard dont believe anything they tell you ,will never use teletext holidays again .

Totally unprofessional. They booked my holiday which took 4 and a half hours. Kept putting me on hold. Call centre in India. Three weeks later I called them to pay balance and was told that they’d cancelled my booking as no flights were available with that airline!!! After trying to resolve things over the phone i was extremely anxious and upset and ended up breaking down and into tears but they don’t care. The manager Andy I spoke with seemed to be the only one who would listen with sympathy. He told me he’d call me back in 10 mins but then after an hour I tried to call him back but nobody seems to know who he is. They put me through to 9 different people except Andy. Horrified. They have ruined my experience of booking holiday. I am never booking with them again. Unprofessional cowboys. Avoid them like the plague.

Worst experience ever was told they had holiday and hotel we required then took payment on hold for 30 mins then said they didn't have that holiday and offered us a holiday 40 miles away ! Total fraud ! Have not refunded the money yet do not book with this holiday company ! Scammers!!!

250.00 to change one name, due to a bereavement. Holiday nothing like it was described, many if the hotels facilities closed. Teletext did not believe any of our concerns..took the word of the hotel even though we messaged teletext while still away. Will never use them again..life is too short to put up with there nonsense. Never using teletext holidays against.

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE! I booked my holiday 2 months ago and for them to message me 3 days before my holiday to advise that my hotel has been changed. The hotel the offered was a downgrade, even after I told them I had already booked my transfers etc already they didn’t do anything. I was told either take the other hotel or get a refund on the hotel only- i said I booked 2 months ago the hotel prices were much cheaper then where am i going to find a 5* hotel for what I paid 3 days before I go away. The staff are very unhelpful I called over 20 times left on hold for 2 hours once honestly the WORST company to use

Booked a holiday 16/06/2019, had my payment card charged 3 times, when I called 17/06/2019 to question this I experienced the worst customer service ever, not so much as an apology. All very nice until they get your money. Also asked a question regarding how to get to my hotel as this is on an island and need transfer via boat and was told this wasn’t something they could help with. Total cowboys, sadly if I just took a little long looking around I would of been able to book the same holiday for a lot less and not have to deal with the terrible customer service experience.

Never again - Terrible experience - Shocking customer 'service'. I don't usually write reviews but felt I needed to this time after some shocking 'Customer Service'. The price you see is never the price you pay - They put a false low price on the website to draw you into them. Then tell you the real price on the phone. I was given some blag about "all of those rooms are now sold - You are getting an upgraded room." Next, I had a verbal quote from the operator who told me the price would be held for an hour, only for me to call again just 8 minutes later with another operator quoting an additional £20. In the belief that we were getting an unbeatable deal (which it later transcribed we could have equalled with the onthebeach.co.uk site), I decided to pay the additional £20. Next, with a similar experience to Irute, they 'forgot' to tell us that only our 7 year old daughter and I had reserved seats together on both flights - leaving my wife to sit alone. This was not explained to me - I found this out when I logged on to the airline's website and saw our flight details. They said we would have to pay the airline separately for reserved seats for my wife, which we did (for £22). So we had now paid £42 extra. There were issues over the room allocated which was not resolved to my satisfaction - admittedly I made the mistake of requesting a double room rather than a family room (which are the same price on the hotel's website and on every holiday operators' websites). Upon realising my mistake, I contacted them on the web chat and by phone, explaining that we required the £42 refund and for the room to be swapped to a family room. They were in no race to call me, so in one web chat I asked the simple question enquiring as to when a manager would be calling me, only for the operator to constantly say "Please bear with me - I am looking into this." It took nearly 50 minutes for the operator to eventually give me the reply "Your booking is confirmed - We will be sending the details through soon!" - Of course I was angry, but more was to follow. Following several more web-chats, I was eventually called by a manager, and explained about the refund we required and the room change, and he said he needed 24 hours to look into it. Over 24 hours later he called to tell me that we would receive the refund but he had obviously completely forgotten (or more probably not listened) to my request for a change of room, and would call back the next day, which he did, only for him still not have an answer on the room issue - again it was as if he had forgotten about it or ignored me! By now I was furious and requested a refund - This was not feasible due to the fact that we would lose our £200 deposit. He called me back again the next day and still had no answer regarding the room swap. I was called by someone else to be told that it would be £330 to swap the room! Eventually we were given the £42 refund regarding the over-charging but I had to chase this up as they were not forthcoming with the confirmation showing the new total price. Update - 13/6/19: I decided to cancel the airport transfers as we are now hiring a car for the week. This was agreed almost 2 weeks ago and we would lose about £10 of the £33 or so paid. No problem there, however, 2 weeks on and I am STILL awaiting confirmation of this. Also a week ago I received a phone call in response to my original post, at last I was speaking with someone with a good command of English, and who seemed to know her stuff. I explained what had gone on and she replied that she would ‘see what she could do for us’. Believing a week was long enough to look into this and get back to me, I was shocked (but not at all surprised to hear) that Teletext Holidays have no record of the conversation even occurring! I was told that I would be called later tonight but you’ve guessed it - I’m still waiting for that call. What a joke. By far the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Very slow, incompetent and ignorant of my needs. Extremely frustrating. I need a holiday now to get over the hassle I have had with them. Shocking!

Appalling customer service and care. Like so many of the reviews, I spent hours on the phone as well as sending emails to chase up transfer vouchers and an issue regarding the accommodation that I had booked. Contacted six customer advisors on different occasions to resolve the issue all of whom informed me I would be contacted. This never happened. They even had the audacity to claim they had rang and left a voice mail message on my answer phone. This was a complete lie!! Will NEVER EVER book a holiday with these charlatans ever again!

disgusting customer service, wrong booking, wrong flights, wrong baggage checked in, promises of return phone calls, emails, never arrived. spent hours on phone and online chat to be told every day will be sorted by end of day, never was. still not, going in 2 weeks??? text message from them demanding balance |(which is wrong) by tomorrow or could cancel holiday and charge us 100% of cost!!. they should compensate me for all of the stress, the phone calls, the overall experience, never in 40 years of booking holidays have i known anything like it.

everything has been wrong!! avoid like the plague. Booked in Feb for 3 people package holiday to crete. 3 weeks from going they had only booked one flight for us. Then was on the phone and online chat to them every day for a week. Never returned the phone calls i was promised , never sent the confirmation of the rebooked flights. never responded to my 4 email complaints, then found out they had charged us for 3 checked in cases at £70 when only booked for 3. on phone and online chat yet again for hours. Today sent text message to me demanding balance be paid by tomorrow if not holiday will be cancelled and we pay 100% of costs!!! so i rang again and said how can i pay balance when you not sorted final confirmation and taken off charges for extra case? told we would receive confirmation for sure within 30 mins, that was at 5pm , never received!! so it goes on and on, im stressed out by all of this so please dont ever book with teletext it is not worth the hassle and stress that i have been caused. It has made me ill and run down dealing with this every day. It has ruined my upcoming holiday thats if Im even going?? , Annette
