THIS COMPANY IS A FRAUD STAY AWAY BOOKED HOLIDAY NO EMAIL SENT TO ME FOR CORMATION I WILL CONTACY UK NEWS AGENCY MY DAD IS A POLICE OFFCER I WILL MAKE SURE NO ONE BOOKS WITH THIS SERVICE AGAIN

Only giving 1star because I had to pick one if I had a choice i wouldn't of picked any!! Dont know where to start with this company absolutely disgusting the way they speak and lie to thier customers! I understand the pressure is on but there is no need to lie and speak to people the way they do! This was the first time in booking with this company and it will most definitely be the last we have passed on our experience with family/friends and with people we don't even know!

Left us stranded in turkey on our honeymoon tt771952. I've tried everything to get our refund back even emailing wayne peaks, no replies. They do not answer phone, emails and their live chat operators lie I had anna tell me I was getting a refund that day. I had to pay for emergency flight home for myself and husband and car hire from east Midlands airport to get us back to gatwick. The refund they owe me doesn't even cover our full costs of them leaving us stranded in Turkey. If we do have to take legal action I'm claiming for the lot

Teletext are a disgrace. Customers have been fighting for months to get refunds. Dealing with rude advisors who cut calls when challenged. All india based call centres. Promises of call backs that are never received. Automted responses to emails and webchat. Hotel accommodation changed without consent customers expected to check in for outbound flights but no certainty of return flights. Teletex you are a shambles of a company. You continue to abuse your customers trust. You continue to challenge refunds. Complete disregard of the law regarding refunds. Hopefully people will see sense and never use this company again. I for one will never ever book with them again.

TT786378 has been cancelled was due to fly out on the 3rd of july and a email from easyjet on the 25th of june cancelled my flght ie:K1JPX55 which means we cant go on hoilday i contacted teletext hoildays by phone which took over a hour to talk to them about a refund,was told i cant start a refund till 20th of september!! which is totally unaceptable!! didnt even get a credit note offered so have complained to the CMA.gov.uk to get this resolved and after being a loyal customer i wont be booking with these again if thats the way they treat there customers!! i will now go through a chargeback and travel insurance to get my money back !! hope you go bust after this!! if like me as i can see many of you are!! getting your refund then go to the cma.gov.uk to make a complaint like i did and the more people do then the more they will look into this !! and help get our money back!!

Lynda I am due to fly to Madira on 9 july, easyjet have cancelled the flights but teletext have not refunded money after lots of phone calls been put on hold and cut off .Would like a refund of £1110 asap TT771335 will not be booking with these again

You kept taking my money even tho you knew my hotel was closed until November 1st 2020. You still haven’t cancelled my holiday and I’m due to fly out Sunday morning 5th July I called the hotel and they told me that they had told you about the hotel closure so why couldn’t you find me an alternative or cancel my holiday and send me back my refund. You are the worst holiday company I have ever booked with. Never ever again. I want my refund

Like everyone else here Teletext have not refunded me a penny. Jet2 have told me that they have refunded the funds to Teletext but Teletext keep denying this and have stopped replying. When you do get through to someone its a person sitting in India . Who are very rude and speak with you with attitude. I feel this company will soon be applying for liquidation so they are trying to run away with everyone's money. I will not be supporting these guys again or those who have call centres in India.

hi my name is colleen Meighen i was due to travel on the 12th of April. i phoned them 3 weeks previous to ask should i make my final payment of £896 as i assumed my holiday was going to be cancelled due to covid 19. they told me yes i still needed to pay as i would break the contract if i didnt. so i payed. then they cancelled my family holiday. i have emailed them and they were quick to send an automated response detailing there high demand of calls due to covid 19 . and that they will be working there way through this with refunds due to peoples travel times. and i thought well thats understandable... but in the coming weeks and now months of asking for my money back i keep getting offered credit vouchers . ....to reschedule my holiday. but im am now sick and tired of getting the same automated response .... we are sorry due to covid 19 we can only offer a credit voucher... i told them i didnt pay in vouchers i payed in cash.... but same old and getting really agitated now with that stupid automated response you know now what it is....... ive contacted the airline JET2 who sent me all notification emails 2 months ago and shown they have credited £1622.00 for my flights. but they paid it to teletext holidays. i phoned them and sent them pdf emails of my refund from jet 2 . but they still will not pay me. and the guy i spoke to on the phone that could not realy speak english. just put down the phone on me... i hope i do not have to take a voucher..... because i really do not ever want to even hear their name again after this is over.. very very unprofessional ...

TT738793 teletext not honouring refunds so provide details of cancellation to CCJ online it may cost about £60 but let’s get these crooks in court also report to CMA.gov.uk we work hard for these holidays we deserve our refund not fairytales and lies

RefTT76209 still waiting for a refund from teletext holiday was paid in full for a holiday to Tenerife on 1st may to 5th for my grandaughter hen weekend which has been and gone holiday was cancelled due to the corona virus and teletext are trying to get me to take credit notes this is unacceptable as I demand a full refund I'm 66years old and shielding and i used my savings to pay for the holiday plus due to my illness I'll not be able to travel in the near future just do the decent thing and give me my money back to treat people this way is a disgrace we have paid for a holiday which we didn't receive I've reported to cma martin Lewis money show and watchdog now going down the legal route i.e. chargeback from my bank fraud squad my mental health has declined due to all this 2.800 is a lot of money to a pensioner trying to live off a state pension I'll never use teletext again and neither will over a 1000 people on my teletext holiday nightmares group on Facebook

I feel for Leah I am going through a similiar problem, and I am in the process of seeking legal advice. I waited 1 hour 55 mins tonight and was then out on hold for a further 5 mins, to be told that he could not deal with my booking as it would take 24 hours. My flights were cancelled on the 20th May 2020 by Ryanair. I am supposed to be going to Tenerife in July18th and been told my holiday is still live.Tried to rebook flight but cannot do it because I am told Ryanair still showing as a live booking despite having 3 emails from them saying they are cancelled. There customer service is appalling, no real understanding of stress and money worries it is causing. The disappointing thing is they are still taking books for the same holiday!!! JUST BE HONEST AND DEAL WITH IT

I agree that teletext are the worst company I have ever dealt with as many of the others reviews state. I have booked a holiday with teletext and paid in full the sum of 1060 euro which was taken in instalments from my bank account.. I tried to cancel the last instalment but they took the money anyway at the start of the virus. We were due to go on holidays on the 29 March, it is no July and still I have not received refund. I am so disappointed with teletext and I was promised a phone call back re same but never received. I have sent numerous emails also but very few reply’s saying very little. To date I have received no refund from teletext but I was told I would get a credit note months ago. I have only spoken to 2 staff who spoke very poor English and just transferred me to call waiting. Extremely poor service. Will never book with them again.

Please don't book with Teletext if you value your mental health Honestly, I've gotten to the point of dealings with this company impacting severely on my mental health. Never before have I received such poor service, which lacks any care at all from the staff. Whilst I appreciate it must be a stressful role right now, I cannot comprehend how abhorrent the training and supervision must be for agents to be cutting calls without speaking, doing the washing up whilst speaking to customers (?!!!) and putting me on hold for 27 further minutes while they "find my booking". I have been requesting to move my holiday for weeks and each day I'm assured I'll receive a callback and each day, no callback occurs. It'll be me that's financially out of pocket as a single parent, who was made redundant last month, but there is no human emotion in any of the responses I receive, I'm just told to rely on these non-existent callbacks by distracted and rude staff. I have now taken legal advice and the solicitor I have appointed will be taking over the case unless I receive a satisfactory resolution on or before 8th July 2020. If you're having similar struggles and your mental wellbeing is being affected, I'd really recommend seeking legal advice as the solicitor is appalled with the treatment I've received (as have so many others!) and is confident the case will go in my favour, with costs falling to Teletext. I would like a full cash refund please as I will not be travelling this year due to my son having a heart condition and is vulnerable to coronavirus and my parents being over 70 who where in the party booking. I am entitled to a full cash refund and do not want a credit note. Just as an add on, I am a loyal customer who has booked several holidays with you. So with this in mind, I would hope that you provide a cash refund.

Yes was going on holiday in march, it was cancelled because of the coronavirus, we have not had our refund yet. I feel if we didn't pay for our holiday on time they would have cancelled it. I know the travel agency are stuck on paying without the travel company paying out,but they could push it a bit quicker.
