This has to be the worst company ever- I've had to pay 3 times for the same item because they took the payment incorrectly. I've waited over 2 weeks to finally receive anything, but they sent the wrong item - a much cheaper version of what I ordered. So dishonest. Advisers hang up on you if you ask to speak to a Team Manager, team managers say they will look into the issue and call you back but never do. I regret so much ordering anything from this company. I raised a complaint 8 days ago - no response even though they say they 'will always respond within 24hrs. Just the worst ever. Just spoke to a member of their customer services team who left me on hold for almost 10mins in silence then the line went dead.

Ordered a sofa changed the address on delivery to receive a call saying they were outside house of original place I had booked delivery for even tho we had changed it.. I had changed it to be sent to a storage place while we sorted out problems with house we was moving into..I changed it bk from stOrange unit to be told it hadn't been changed by very in the first place.. I'm. 7 and half month pregnant today I waused in all day for.it just rang them complaining as I have had nothing to sit on all day as we have literally just had keys to be told it isn't coming.. the person at very hadn't rearranged the delivery total waste of a day all the staff are route and all. Foreign u can't understand them. Won't order from.these again just hoping they actually send my sofa out this weekend like promised

I ordered items on Friday and realised the address was wrong for delivery. I contacted Very on their chat service on Saturday morning to change the address. I was told by the agent on chat that I could change my delivery address as it had not yet left the warehouse. I got this changed and the agent said this was all sorted and would be delivered to the new address I chose. I received an email and a slip today to say I'd missed my delivery at my HOME address and was left with my neighbour. I did not give permission for my item to be left with me neighbour and we have an ongoing issue with my neighbour. So I contacted Very to find out why it was delivered to my home address. I was told they had no idea and there was nothing I can do. Normally this is not an issue, however this neighbour has caused no end of problems as I'm sure people can relate to and I know I will NOT get that delivery and Very will do absolutely nothing to help me. Complete waste of time and their service is crap!! Steer clear of Very!!

Unhelpful 'customer service' if thats what you could call it. On phone and internet for over two hours to obtain 'proof of purchase' to be sent to supplier to enable replacement part to be sent urgently. Placed on hold twice for over half an hour and then they hung up, No direct route to make complaint, and the most unhelpful representatives ever. They happy to take your money but once they have they totally not interested. Never deal with this company again.

I bought an Ipad on 3 Decmber 2016 on the strength of their promotion- 10%off electrical goods on first order. I ommitted to put in the promotion code when I ordered ( I admit this was an error on my part) and so rang customer service. The guy on the phone told me he had sorted it out and I would receive my discount in January. No such discount was received. I emailed them...no reply...I rang them and was promised a call back......no reply...I went on online chat she told me to ring their accounts department because it was them who ajusted accounts. The accounts deparment told me it was nothing to do with them and put me back through to customer service....she hung up on me... I rang customer services again myself. This guy seemed really helpful and said he had sent a request form through to accounts who should apply this discount to my account in the next 3-7 days. It remains to be senn whether this actually happens as I have been told this before. All of the people I spoke to wanted me to give them the promotion code. Don't they know their own promotion codes? I hadn't made a note of it since I was told in December it was sorted out so I gave the one that exists on their site now. It seems pretty ludicrus that they don't know themselves. Customer service is pretty poor and I will be closing my Very account.

Ordered an item for it to be delivered for my sons 13th in plenty of time. It never turned up but very have advised that the delivery was signed for (not by any of us at this address). I called when I saw the delivery said it had been delivered when I had not received. Very advised they would take it up with the delivery company which takes 24 hours. So I then call them back 24 hours later to then be told that it will take longer as it is now Saturday. I asked to speak to customer services. Once I get through (this is now 24 mins later) I have someone asking for all my details again and when they couldn't understand my language they hung up. Wel done very.

I bought a fridge freezer. And as a new customer i could use a discount code to get 10 percent. The adviser said the code had worked so I paid in full.Now being told the code had not gone on and i have to pay the difference

Very may have what they consider to be an excellent web-site. With this I agree. They may think they have an excellent customer service. With this I would 50% agree. Very may think that they follow the Customer Rights Act 2015. No I totally disagree. Very have a response that nothing is their problem. If you develope a fault with any goods purchased from them, the onus is on the manufacturer. We purchased a white goods from Very. It developed a fault within a couple of months, when contacting Very, I was informed it was the Manufacturers responsibility under the 12 month manufacturer guarentee. When I pointed out the CRA, I was still told to go to the manufacturer. I contacted the manufacturer who quite rightly pointed me back to Very. Cut along story short, Very contacted manufacturer who attempted 3 repairs, yes 3. Finally less than 9 months from purchase of item I stated enough was enough I wanted a replacement. Very's response, I was not entitled to one the manufacturer had got to do that as it was over 28 days from purchase and I had let them attempt 3 repairs. I tried to contact the CEO at Very, first receptionist tried several times to put me through, when this failed I was advised to telephone at a set time the next day as he would be available for a 2 hour slot free in his diary. On telephoning a different receptionist, when I explained why I was calling, I was informed that the CEO did not speak to customers as it was not his job. I emailed the CEO and explained, also refering to the Consumer Rights Act 2015. The only response I recieved was that Very were collecting the goods I would be refunded in full and as far as they were concerned end of matter. This response came via telephone call from the manufacturer not from Very. Very do not adhere to the CRA 2015 I do not think they will ever do so, but that is my opinion not a proven fact. I would just like to say BEWARE when using this company, they may be excellent in someways but not in others.

To a long story,after 4 hours of phone calls,total stress,still waiting on a refund after selling us shoddy goods,I absolutely urge nobody to buy anything from this company,absolute Cowboys,going to trading standards now

My first issue was when the 2 electronic items I ordered for Christmas for my children arrived soaking wet, when I tried to return them it was made almost impossible. This was down to the fact that the boxes were so damaged they fell apart and when I tried to discuss this matter with a very adviser I was greeted with someone singing (not on hold) they then hung up on me so I had to start the call process all over again after 25 minutes of waiting. Then in order to return the 2 water damaged items I had to find paperwork from a previous purchase as the actual paperwork was too damaged. Even though the cost of these 2 items alone was almost £400 very refused to help and told me I would have to return via a local petrol station which I personally did not trust. It then took very nearly a month to recredit the money to my account even though I had been on the phone to them various times at this point. Now to top it all off, I went to make a payment just to find their system was down and now because of this I have a late charge on my account and have just had to deal with their terrible call centre staffs disgusting attitude yet again. I pointed out that their system was down and that I couldn't make the payment on time even if I wanted too. Overall I've found purchasing and paying very a stressful experience and will be looking at closing my account as quickly as possible.

I would just like to Warn people Of the Buy now pay later on Very. Don't do it! I purchased an item online when placing the order did not have an option to opt out of this BNPL. I did place the order but called customer services and said I did not want this option so to remove it. 1 year on my statement has the interest for the BNPL purchase that I asked to be removed! £123! I made a Complaint to Very and they now have agreed to deduct that interest from my account

Ordered an item, and due to so many personal questions upon registering decided to go elsewhere. Unnecessary, inappropriate and made me feel uncomfortable... I just wanted to buy a pair of leggings why do you need to know my household income, who I live with and my dogs name!!!!

I have been sent the same code twice and was assured by the very social media team that once i placed my order they would apply the code for the £30 money off. I trusted there advice and was then told that this code is no longer available. After countless emails to the company and phone calls that do not go through EVER! They do not acknowledge anything being said and just repeat that the code cannot be used! This is beyond frustrating as the order was placed and items given as christmas presents! Absolute worst customer service ever! I have been so frustrated that I have chose never to shop with VERY and have now asked for my account to be closed down. To which no one in customer services even cared!

I ordered a New Samsung Galaxy s2 to give to my father as a present. When I received the product 3 days late the package had already been opened before being sent by very. The Samsung manufacturer Seals were broken, there were finger prints all over the screen, the power cord was all tangled up and shoved back in the box and when we turned it on the battery was already half used. When I contacted Very about this they said that I would need to send it back , even though I was leaving the country in 2 days and would not receive the replacement in time to take with me to give to my dad for his birthday. When I explained this, they told me they could give me £20 back as a 'good will gesture' or that I would need to write in with photo evidence to get a better discount on the used product. I tried to write in but the area of their website to do this was down and now, over 1 month later, it is still down. I also spoke to 3 more customer care advisors, I wrote in to different customer service email addresses from their website and also tried the online 'Chat' option. Each time they would respond up until the point where I sent the email with the pictures and then I would not hear anything more from them. This is the dodgiest company I've ever dealt with and I would definitely advise people to steer clear. USE VERY.CO.UK AT YOUR OWN PERIL or if you don't mind being conned. It is a website of CON ARTISTS!!!!!

Cant access account, rang numerous times of which most of my calls i was hung up on, when eventually speaking to someone i was told it would be passed to I.T and i would hear back within 7 days (i am still waiting even after 7 days). Disgraceful customer service and to add to the issue the customer service is in south Africa so you also face a language barrier to which most of these advisors huff and puff on the phone as though they dont want to be there they also tend to put you on hold a lot so they must be ill trained as they dont know what they are doing even for the simple queries.

The account i opened was closed down due to them finding out i'd been a victim of fraud on my account in the past.. I called them to sort it out and they opened a new account which i wasn't able to log in to.. Made numerous calls to try and sort this out (spending an average of 20 minutes each time before getting to speak to an actual person). The goods I had ordered had been delivered so i just wanted to access my account and set up the 3 equal payments option. Each person i spoke to about this matter told me something different was the problem which sounded much like "I haven't got a clue how to sort this out so i need to find a way of getting this customer off the line, and next time he rings, hopefully he'll get through to someone else who can sort it". Once i was also told "I'll need to pass this on to the technical department, who will be in touch with you within the hour" (2 days later i hadn't heard anything". Eventually (and i noticed a previous reviewer did the same thing) I just called them to pay the amount in full and close the account. Complete shambles of a company, very difficult to contact and speak to someone quickly, and i had very little confidence in what they were telling me. Account closed and i would recommend steering well clear of this lot.. Absolute cowboys !!!

my login details wouldnt allow myself to login.. i cleared my cache. even tried changing dns settings to no avail very didnt even tryto help 3 days on still cannot login called very again. only this time to pay my balance closed the account simple how this company deals with complaints is disgusting no i dont speak south african i am english.. totalu disgusting attitude with so called customer service.avoid this companyat all costs..

I don't ever write reviews but this twopence, unprofessional company has absolutely infuriated me. Im disgusted on how they treat loyal customers. After being overcharged on their website thought it would be a straight forward call but no. After putting a dress in my basket at one price then checked out within minutes the price changes. Was on hold for 25 minutes, first spoke to customer service rep who was no help then waited to speak to a manager and again shockingly was told them same. It seems there has been no training and don't know what is right and wrong. I will be seeking further advice from trading standards!
