If I could give you Zero stars, I would have. Where do I begin!! Miss sold a new contract, told that there would be items within that were as good as or "better" than my previous plan. (I was fortunate enough to realise before the 14 day cooling off period so was able to cancel) I have recently switched banks and Vodafone did not take the money from the new account, then sent me a "late payment" text (which will now my on my previously perfect credit file. When you call to discuss anything, it is very "Hit" or "Miss" that you will get a service advisor that is actually helpful. Sometimes when calling them, they appear to disconnect you! I have had nothing but trouble with the Vodafone, yet all I have been is a loyal customer of many years (20 to be exact) I think that any other telecommunications company would do a better job than they have provided to me. I have really had enough of them!

DO NOT USE VODAFONE IF YOU VALUE YOUR MONEY, YOUR TIME OR YOUR PATIENCE – BY FAR THE WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH IN MY LIFE I’m going to walk through my experience of Vodafone to date. - Dec/Jan several weeks before I moved into a new central London property, I booked and paid for installation of a Vodafone Broadband service – receiving a confirmation email etc. I took a day annual leave to be home for installation day, installation did not happen. - I phoned, and spent approx. 3hrs+ on several phone calls that evening to various people at Vodafone – from extremely rude and unhelpful agents who advised me that ‘all I can do is put another order through’ for installation in several weeks with no explanation and no ability to expedite my installation given that it was Vodafone at fault for not installing as expected, without even as much as a notification call. - Eventually I managed to speak to a manager – who on the face of it was able to help. The manager agreed that as a gesture of goodwill, they would: o Rebook my installation as urgently as possible o In the meantime, provide me with mobile WIFI with all the necessary GB and passes to tide me over until another installation was booked entirely free of charge – that I should simply go to the Brixton store to pick up my free of charge modem, use it during the period of having no broadband, and then I could ‘do what I want with the device’ afterwards as this was a goodwill gesture given the circumstances. - When I went to the Brixton store to collect the free of charge mobile WIFI broadband, the sales advisor told me that no, I would need to pay £35 for the device and ‘call customer service for a refund’ – he then proceeded to spend 1hr on the phone with somebody (no explanation given) while he processed the device and charged me for something that should have been free of charge. - I then called customer service once again, to make sure that I would be given a refund for the device that was supposed to be an interim measure because of the failure to install my broadband as expected. They assured me I would be credited. - My broadband was eventually installed and I stopped using the mobile WIFI device provided. - Many months later I am reviewing my bills bank account, only to find I have been billed approx. £100 per month for the mobile broadband service that I never signed up to and was purely provided as an interim measure and all covered by customer service as goodwill. This I feel is an absolute joke, and I am yet again calling customer service for yet more lengthy phonecalls. - October - I call to complain and am assured that yes this is a mistake, all notes on the account verify that the device and the service was a goodwill gesture and should not be billed the £600 that has been taken from my account without my permission. I would be refunded for the full amount within 10 days, as well as credited as a goodwill gesture to cover 3 months of my service given the terrible experience I have had to date. I specifically ask the agent for assurance that I will not need to phone again, and that she guarantees the billing will be corrected and I would receive a full refund and credits as promised – I was assured this would all happen and I would not need to call again. - Around 3 weeks pass of checking my bank account frequently for sign of the refund of £600 of my money which has been unlawfully taken for something that was a goodwill gesture for an already terrible experience. The refund never comes, I gear myself up for more hours on the phone to Vodafone. - I call customer service again to complain about where my refund is, and spend 1.5hrs on the phone to an extremely rude agent who tells me that I have to send the device back (which I no longer have and was told I could ‘do what I want with it’ as it’s written off as a good will gesture) in order to have my money refunded. The agent disagrees that it was offered as a goodwill gesture which I try to explain, and states there are apparently notes on my account saying I called in to arrange a return of the device – which I never did, I have never discussed returning the device with anyone or had any contact about this – presumably there is full call recording to verify this. I tell him that the note he is referring to is a lie, as I have never discussed returning the device as this was promised as goodwill. He aggressively repeats that I am ‘calling him a liar’ over and over, and refuses to speak reasonably or listen to my complaint. I ask to speak to his manager, he refuses, puts me on hold for the majority of the phone call and is extremely rude. - Eventually I am put through to the Broadband team – I explain my complaint start to finish and by this point I simply want my money back that has been unlawfully taken and I want to leave Vodafone altogether as the service is beyond despicable. I ask to speak to a manager and am assured of a call back, this was on Sunday evening (13th) and it is now Thursday 17th and I have had no call back, no voicemails, no emails or other contact from anyone at Vodafone. Currently Vodafone have: - Failed to install as promised. - Wasted many hours of my time on phone calls, largely on hold, and with extremely rude members of the contact centre team. - Unlawfully holding £600 of my money, charging me for a goodwill gesture which was only provided because of the extremely poor experience from Vodafone in the first place. - Failing to deal with the problem. My next step is to take this to the financial ombudsman as I cannot get anywhere with employees of the company, and I am beyond exasperated. I never ever want to have any Vodafone products in my lifetime, and I will certainly be sharing my experience to warn others as at every stage, every promise is broken and I am met with incompetence, aggression and rudeness from the team who are supposed to help its customers – and even more so when Vodafone are consistently making errors amounting to several hundred pounds. One way or another, I want to leave the company and terminate all services – and ensure I am refunded what I am owed. Vodafone are a total disgrace.

Worst company I have ever dealt with. Awful customer service, ridiculously difficult to contact and get anything resolved, different answer every time you speak to someone. Avoid like the plague.

Is it even worth complaining to this company, I will just leave If I could give no stars I would. 45 days after giving 30 days notice to switch to pay as you go I am still waiting and getting charged. Another conversation and promise to sort it and I wouldn't be charged the extra time . I made an official complaint and specified evening calls only, every time they rang was mid afternoon and told couldnt call back after 6pm after a new bill and charged for the phone and still no changed to pay as you go. When I called them, another promise that it would be changed and i would be refunded the extra costs. What a joke, I have 4 phone contracts with Vodafone for family , not for much longer. EE LOOKS LIKE A GOOD IDEA

Where should i start, i made an order of the new IPhone Pro on the 1st of October and was told it would only take 1 week to arrive, a week later still nothing just an email on the 8th stating it's going to be another 4 days at least, so 4 days later i go to check my order and it states that it is cancelled as i cancelled it on the 4th but i had an email from you on the 8th and spoke to a manager on the 8th, not at any point did the manager say it is cancelled or received an email!!!! Now this is where is gets even worse i phoned Vodafone on Friday the 11th October 19:51PM and went through to a lady who went to say it is an error and the phone order is not cancelled and the phone will be with me this weekend, she stated if i leave it an hour the order will now say open and not cancelled, she also said she would put in a complaint for me, so an hour later still the order states cancelled so i call again to go through to someone else who was rude and spoke over me (i'm the customer this should never happen) he then states the order is cancelled and there's nothing i can do, he also states there is no complaint number or manager on shift which was obviously a massive lie. I then had to phone back again the next morning to log a complaint and to sort out this order in what i have to wait another 1-2 weeks!!!! To top this all off after the shocking and appalling service you have given me considering i have 4 devices with you i still haven't received a call back in regards to the complaint. Lets get things straight here and point out everything you have done and if this is not settled i will be reporting you for missleading and lying to your customers. 1. i made and order and was told the phone would be here in a week, it is now 2 weeks later 2. a manager on 8th never stated my order was cancelled and also hung up the chat when i was speaking to her 3. my order was cancelled without me even cancelling it!!!! 4. i was then told my order wasn't cancelled and it would be with me in the next 2 days!!!! 5. i was shouted at by your members of staff told there was no manager and i cant make a complaint 6. no one has still phoned me after 48 hours in regards to my complaint!!!

I moved house in September, had called about it in August, yet the activation of the broadband at the new address has been delayed 3 times. The new activation date now would be 28th October, so I simply cancelled my contract. Poor (customer) service is quite an understatement.

I have been waiting for my unlock code for couple of months now. They cannot even deal with a simple thing like this. I have since complained and the person dealing with complaint suggested I do it myself and they will refund me. I still do not understand why. I have asked her to send me an email to confirm everything discussed and have not got it to this day. Instead she calls and talks over me claiming she was only supposed to call me. And she hang up on me!!! Unproffessional and laughable really. If their complaints are dealt with by people with very poor customer service skills now wonders this is such shambles

At first there customer service was great, before I signed up to their service. At the start of the broadband contract, everything was fine. Then in July, my internet speed kept dropping to a snail pace and cutting out. So I reached out for support. This is where everything went wrong. They spent days and weeks ignoring me when I tried to get support. When they did decide to reply after ignoring me for days or weeks at a time, they would just ask for my security details, which I'd give, then they'd ignore me again for a few days, return and ask me for my security questions again. This has basically been the pattern for the last few months. I've been passed to other teams to deal with my complaints, but they're just a useless. The complaints team ignored 2 dozen emails from me which started in August, continued in September, and carried on into October. Nothing has been done to help at all. This company is absolutely useless, their customer service team, social media teams, complaints team, and directors office team, are all a waste of time. If you're on Vodafone, they're currently putting up their prices which gives you 30 days to leave without incurring a penalty. My advice, use it, I am. If you're not a Vodafone customer, then simply don't become one and avoid their nightmare service

A genuine mistake in us or Carphone Warehouse not cancelling our contract with Vodafone in 2011 meant that we are still being charged for the service in 2019 - the amount in the direct debit was not picked up in our bank account ( I know - our fault ). They had taken £1,900 from us for a service we did not have. Called them and explained August 2019, expecting some kind of refund maybe. Not a hope, your fault we were told so charges stand. OK take it on the chin and cancel the contract in the same phone call. Cancelled direct debit also on same day. Two months later I receive a demand and service suspended letter and a bill for £42.12 i.e the 2 months payments since I had cancelled the contract. Spent over an hour online to customer services explain but to no avail … Vodafone " the communications company" had a record of my call but no notes made cancelling the contract they said and the amount was due, moreover I would continue to be charged until the arrears were paid and they would not cancel the contract until I paid ………………………. disgraceful conduct from a jobsworthy company with no flexibility. I have been in business for many years and would not treat any customer the way the did me.

So much time and money being wasted on this –– their customer service turned me from a nice positive person into a demonic hater, seriously. No customer care at all – worst company and service I've dealt with in my entire life. Burn in hell, vodafone!

A month ago I wrote a review regarding 13 months of very poor customer service having finished my account with them after giving several warnings that I needed to be able to see my bills something I hadnt been able to do over the last 13 months. After changing to another supplier I received a bill for £111. 56 as they said i had broken my contract. At the time of asking for my PAC number in front of staff and customers in the store I insisted they had broken the contract because of the above. This when representing their defense after I had taken it to a Tribunal they told lies by saying I had asked how much would I have to pay to leave which was a down right lie. Check your recordings vodafone. Because the provision of access to my bill is not in the contract so I had no case to answer. But I was awarded £100 damages for very poor customer services so they had to pay themselves. the balance of £11.56 plus a further £5 that had been added was paid in Sept. I am now receiving notification on the 6th October for the balance. £16.56 Take me to court vodafone and I will be claiming serious damages. DONT TOUCH VODAFONE IF YOU DONT WANT SERIOUS HASSLE AND EXPENSE. DAYS SPENT ON THE CHAT LINE WILL TURN YOU MENTAL. NOT EVEN ONE STAR RATING. Graham

I have been with Vodafone for over 20 years. And my experience with them has just got worse. My contract had ended with Vodafone so I decided to change my network provider as I found a better deal. My new sim arrived and was about to be set up, I realised it I couldn’t use it as my phone was still locked to Vodafone. I made numerous calls to them trying to sort this out. I’m outraged and very disappointed in the fact that I wasn’t informed of this. Vodafone told me, I need to complete an online Network Unlocking Code form. Which I did twice and still never received the email with the code. I am unable to use my phone for the past 3 weeks. I have a son with autism who constantly needs my support as I’m very much involved with his professional team. And because of this error from Vodafone, this is causing me grief. I did not expect this from Vodafone as I have loyal to them for over 20 years. My phone is still out of use and I had to go into the Vodafone store to ask the employees to unlock my phone but they were not helpful at all and just put me on the phone to the head office of Vodafone and repeat my problem to them again. I was told to contact Apple to sort this out, Apple however say it’s Vodafone who need to sort it out for you. I’m just going round in circles and I’ve had enough. I’m a mother of 3 children 1 with autism who constantly needs my support. I’m disgusted by this unprofessionalism from such a big company.

have been a Vodafone customer four 19 years. I am a trans-femoral amputee and have just received a micro processor knee (Ossur Rheo XC). The prosthetic leg manufacturer has an app that connects to the leg via Bluetooth, it stores information on the knee, but this app is only available on IOS devices and I am on an android device. I approached Vodafone today to see if they would be prepared to help me get an early upgrade (8 months left on my current contract). I thought they would be prepared to reduce the early upgrade charge. They are unwilling to help me which I find astounding. I have been a very loyal customer, this experience proves that loyalty counts for nothing.

Wimbledon Branch, got into shop 15mins before closing. Queue and the manager lock shop at 6pm. Made us wait an extra 15 mins and then decided she wasn't gonna serve us. Ask what I wanted at 6.15pm, could of ask that before. Then decides she couldn't serve me, it would take too long. You could see it written on her face. 'WANT TO GO HOME'. Fair enough, I work in retail but I serve all customers that get into the shop on time. She might as well shut the shop 5.45pm. RUBBISH SERVICE

What went right is the question that's needed and the answer, nothing, these guys don't have a clue, placed and order in August received my router engineers came but could not proceed due to misinformation I was given on a number of occasions by sales and customer service chat advisors. They then cancel the order and nobody can explain why , place another they order a phone when I wanted broadband, then they cancel again but don't tell me its cancelled, one month later... nothing.... on contacting them today, I started reading reviews whilst waiting being passed from pillar to post, and after reading the reviews here I decided to call it quits told them to come collect their unopened router and forget that I exist. I think its a blessing that they messed up otherwise I could have been stuck in an 18 month contract with these jokers. If I could give zero rating I would, stay away from them.
