Over the last two months I have been unable to watch TV for more than 3-seconds as it continually freezes than shuts down. I have logged this and been told a multitude of different things: it is my fault, the router is broken, there is nothing wrong, we will call you back, we will send a new router, we will call at an agreed time. Almost two months later the issue is worse, no router has been sent. I have been called during working hours and again 20-minutes later, still not at the agreed time. I have had my calls disconnected every single time.I have had every email ignored and now I have just received a message to say they are closing my case as there is no problem. They happily take payment for services that are not fit for purpose and do nothing to put it right except expend a vast amount of time dodging customer enquiries and feedback. This Company is the worst I have ever dealt with, EVER. You are better burning your money than taking a contract with Vodaphone.

I got along with Vodafone OK for nearly 10 years but every now and then I would notice their direct debit get bigger on my bank statement - they don't tell you when your contract expires and apply 'standard' (read rip-off) charges. Normally I would phone up and shout at them and things would go back to normal. Not this time. Several hours of being kept on hold and going around in circles with arrogant half-wits in Egyptian call centres was too much for me. I got a new, cheaper, contract with Tesco. Even then Vodafone made it very difficult for me to transport my number until I drove 10 miles to a shop. Absolutely shambolic organisation: I can't believe anyone is coordinating it.

Shocking customer service been around the houses for 2 days just to get the info to send my phone back via dpd provider. Spoke to 6 different advisers, told different things each time. Not only that, if I hadnt gone in to query a bill I would not have known I had been overcharged for a new contract by more than £10, which was not agreed at the time of the courtesy call. Plus I was charged an extra £25 without my knowledge for an apparent upgrade which i was told wasnt actually an upgrade! Still not received info to send phone back (within 14 days) now told I can go into the store and they will return the item for me, and if any issues they can call customer services as a note has been put on their system. Refund is being sorted, supposedly! Dont feel confident that this isnt the end of the matter. hmm frustrating to say the least when it is costing me money and my time for something that is soooooooooooooooooo simple. Feel like they are just saying whatever to keep me quiet. Didnt work as I said if this is sorted i would make a complaint etc. Anyway watch this space.

Absolutely shocking customer service. I have spoken to 6 different advisers in the last 24-36 hours all in relation to them sending me the information for the dpd provider to return my phone. I was told: 1. I would get this via email yesterday (17th) didnt receive it, 2. rang 8am today (18th) told i would absolutely get it today, information hasnt materialised again. After being put through to 4 different advisers today (18th) each time having to explain over and over the reason for the call, frustrating to say the least)) I was told an email had been sent and that a pack had been sent out in the post with info to return the item. I mean how difficult is it to send an email and put something in the post? Not that difficult. Why would I waste time and money calling if I had received the appropriate information. Just to add I was sold an item at an agreed price, but as there had been an issue with that device and went into a store, I then found out that the price for the new device was more than had been agreed. Disappointing to be honest as I have been with Vodafone for a long time now, hence the reason for changing provider who have been absolutely great this far, no issues at all and even helped me set up the phone in store and sorted out another issue. I have just been told that I can now return the item by going into my local store and they will send it back for me and if there is an issue to call Customer Services. humm we shall see what materialises.

absolutely disgusting company to deal with. no one in the yeovil store, online customer services team or customer services complaints team (when phoning 03333040191) was even willing to help. never ever will i be a vodafone customer and i advise anyone and everyone reading this to stay well clear and simply go with three instead

Your sim card doesn't work? And vodafone store is nearby? They will solve the issue, but only if you have British Passport or Driving Licence with you... If not? You need to give a call to customer service... Wait a minute, but your sim card doesnt work... Find another phone... Time wasters..

I was told a new sim card would be sent out in 2 days. Its been a week and a half and still no sim card. Apparently Royal Mail declined it because it was a small piece of metal, so i now have to wait another 4 days to be sent out another sim card that could yet again be declined off Royal Mail. What a joke! I can't wait for my contact to be up in June! On top of that, I get a text message what seems like everyday off Vodafone which is very irritating.

Vodafone is a nightmare to deal with! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Unorganised, incompetent, lack of empathy those are the only words to describe this company. I was eligible for an upgrade, called vodafone was talked into getting the iphone 11. Called up 5 mins later to cancel, this took 5 days to get sorted! 17 calls later and 6 promises to be called back I was finally able to order the iphone 11 pro. Was told on the phone that with a nearly new phone the only thing that would be missing was the headphones due to hygienic reasons, which I agreed to. Phone came with a nasty hair on it (hoping that it was a hair from someone's head) fingerprints everywhere, no original box and not protected in the box. I could hear the phone moving around even before opening the box. Not even a charger delivered with the phone! Called up to try and return the phone was told that I have to take time off work (shop closes before I finish work) to go to the vodafone shop where I could then return the phone. Asked for a new phone was quoted 30 pounds more than last night!!! I am so done with vodafone. Honestly the worst company I have ever dealt with and customer service should be renamed to stress service!

Worst customer service I have experienced in 20 years. I sincerely hope that Vodafone go out of business as I'm clearly not the only person affected by the horrendous customer service and have also be blatantly lied to to coerce me into upgrading with them. Told 3 times that after my upgrade, my account was in credit, then told via text message that I owed them money. I have been cut off 4 times in 3 weeks after assurances that the issue would be resolved, once they even blocked me calling their freephone number. Imagine if I had been a vulnerable female with not access to another phone or another way to call them! Keep away, absolutely disgusted with this joke of a company.

Ended contract and paid requisite amount. Subsequently hounded by 5 different debt collection agencies requesting monies that were not owed, I received a default on my credit record as a consequence, oddly I am no longer being hounded but have received no apology and no correction to my credit record. Vodafone are a disgrace!!!

Simply the worst. I went to their store in liverpool one last week to buy a monthly paid number, data sim and portable wifi device, the sales person said all I need is an active UK bank account. I came back in a week with my credit and debit cards, and the sales person there told me 99% it is not possible to have what I have asked for, because I have recently opened my bank account, and I have to have my account open for at least a year. He did not even bother to do the checks on his system !!! They never mentioned this on the first time, so I had to come to them twice for nothing . What a waste of time!!! Anyways I got what I want from EE, which has a better coverage anyway.

I had to cancel my contract with vodaphoe because they spell my name wrong in the original order, customer service staff Hannah refused to talk to me over the phone because my name was not same as in their record, she said I had to go to Vodafone shop with my passport to prove my self despite Vodaphone setup direct debit in my bank account. When I am the Vodaphone shop the staff told me that they can not cancel contract in shop and I had to call customer service. I made calls to customer service whilst I was in shop. Two weeks later I was shocked at Vodaphone still taken money from my bank account. Worst company I have ever experienced.

If I could leave a review with 0 stars I would, I took a contract out with vodafone in August 2015 after around a month my internet stopped working on my contract although I was paying for internet, I was in store many different times and got many different sim cards, this didn't resolve the issue, I was told to be without a phone for nearly 2 weeks or cancel my contract with no further bills & I got my upfront cost refunded to me, to this day it is still showing on my credit file as outstanding although I have been in contact a good 15 times and being told my balance would be removed, I was told for 2 weeks I would get a good will credit and I could get this refunded into my bank, I waited 2 weeks of people telling me over and over again they will get it fast tracked it will be in my bank in 3-5 days, this is including discussing this with a manager, I was then transferred to a manager on a different occasion who then told me he couldn't refund me any money as they are unable to refund a goodwill credit. He stated he would fill out an ADR form and I would get a call from customer relations within 24-48 hours, This was 8 days ago today and I still have NO CALL! I have contacted them twice within this time period and advised to wait a further 24 hours and again still waiting, I will be taking this matter up with CICAS as its absolutely appalling as a business.

I Purchased 2 Apple iPhone's on contract on black Friday as a Christmas gift for my Grandchildren. Unfortunately Vodafone activated the Sim card immediately upon delivery without the cards even being put into the phones. Therefore the contract was started and unused, for nearly a month wasting money. I contacted customer support who refused to help saying that it was "Company Policy" In short if you want to buy a phone as a gift then DONT BUY VODAFONE. Even the Customer Service agent agreed that you shouldn't buy from Vodafone in this case.
