Terrible customer service. Will not amdit that they may be wrong when they charge you for calls you did not make. If you don't pay immediately over a contested bill this will affect your credit rating. Scum, pure scum.

For my sins I have been with vodafone for many, many years and to be fair never had much in the way of problems with the phones I've had or even the network (albeit that it's the only network that gets no service at my house). HOWEVER, the second something goes wrong or requires you to make a change or speak to the ironically named "customer services" it goes from an average, slightly overpriced service to being so awful that you are left asking yourself if you're being pranked by some rubbish reality TV program! Like so many others on this site I've been overcharged (hundreds of pounds) and taken 6 months+ to get it (or at least some of it) back. I've been lied to consistently and have taken to asking for a transcript of the call or "chat" every single time. Obviously they always say yes, they'll send it. And predictably they never do. I can only hope that people will read this and regardless of the "deal" on offer go to absolutely ANY other provider for their phone. As soon as I can extradite myself from my contract I will. In fact, if I won the lottery tomorrow I would use the money to pay my way out of the contract before I even started looking at cars!! Please don't sign up to vodafone....

11 long years with Vodafone, I've even worked for them for 2 years and they are treating me like crap. Taken over £650 from my debit account over the last 2 months....guess why?? Incorrect bills, like the millions of others I'm reading about. 74% 1* reviews on trustpilot 94% 1* reviews on reviews.co.uk ...says it all really! Promised calls back within 24/48hrs more than 3/4 times now over a 6 week period.....guess what?? NOT ONE CALL BACK AS PROMISED. Constantly chasing and given case number after case number but no solution...no apology...NO MONEY BACK!!! Emailed the following people and governing bodies/press to help push things forward... neil.blagden@vodafone.com jeroen.hoencamp@vodafone.com Resolver The Ombudsman Which? The Telegraph This is Money BBC The Guardian Hopefully one day I will receive back the hundreds of £££'s that Vodafone have unjustly taken from my account. Wishful thinking I know... We all know you are cocking up customer bills....admit your mistakes and pay your customers back what they are owed. Vodafone may be a little cheaper in some instances, but you know what they say...PAY PEANUTS...GET MONKEYS!!! My advice...stick with O2 or EE.

Tried to add a second line to my contract for my son, with a view to adding a third later this year for my daughter. Started call whilst at home, after being on hold for 10 minutes I decided to drive to Carphone warehouse some 20 mins away. I remained on hold the whole journey and eventually answered as I arrived. Explained I was about to go into Carphone warehouse and was offered a 'deal' and was told they would call back later to see if they could match any better deal from CW. No one called so ended up calling Vodafone many times requesting someone call me back but no one called me back. Called for one final time only to be told the original offer was a lie and it didn't exist and then offered one at a much higher price (more than I can get by going elsewhere!). Called customer services and logged a complaint and was promised they would call me back the next day within an 1hr time slot .... Guess what .... They never called. I wonder if I will give them the business of a second and third line.. Let me think!!

TERRIBLE!! ***stay away at all costs*** Biggest scam around, I would highly recommend staying away from them, service is average but as soon as there's an issue they are USELESS. I've called several times regarding issues I'm experiencing and nor 1 has been dealt with. I made a complaint last month as they refused to put me through to a manager and was very rude, I was put through to a different department and lodged a complaint, I was then advise that member of staff would call me at exactly 11am the following day to try resolve my issue and to give me an update on complaint 'I still have not received this call roughly 4 weeks later' I then upgrade to 24gb as my allowance repeatedly went over I was given a £40 credit and suprise suprise my bill this month was full payment which I didn't put enough funds for so was charged by my bank. A few hours later when I put the money in the payment was taken again even though I called and advise it should be £40 less and they specifically said Tristan this had been added and full payment will not be take (THAT'S A LIE I will be posting there terrible service everywhere and will be cancelling my direct debit as they failed to provide the service I pay for.. I've also been resetting my password every time to the same one as they wont get there technical team to deal with it. It's taken 8 phone calls and resets and still they say it's incorrect DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY WITH VODAPHONE OR MORE IMPORTANTLY YOUR TIME TO DEAL WITH THERE ISSUES Last 2 calls where over an hour yet I have to call again to get my money back What a joke you guys are!!!

Would have been less if there was a score below 1. This is further to my review yesterday and again cutting a very long story short - after numerous phone calls regarding delivery of a Galaxy Note 4 in the colour I ordered (white) rather than the one sent (black), I am now told that the reason it was sent in black is because they only do it in black despite it showing up on the system as being available in White, Black & Gold! Am really not happy - am of to my nearest Vodafone store to complain to a a real, stood in front of me, person!

I have today given them 30 days notice - cant wait to be free of this despicable organisation, who lie to you to keep you with them, then when you realise you are not getting the bundle you were promised, they say theres no record on my notes of being promised a better deal than what I was being given. Check your recorded phone calls then you will see you are the liars not me! Upgraded phone in my possession a week and still unable to use as no service despite vodaphone texting me saying to wait up to 12 hours before it would be activated! Then 2 phone calls to 191 stated I had to wait up to 24 hours, and the second call i had to be patient and wait up to 72 hours!!! Had to ask THREE times for a returns envelope to be sent so I could return the phone - after umpteen phone calls, online chats and tweets I was quickly losing the will to live, they are all completely useless and just dont give a monkeys - my advice to anyone thinking who to go with for a mobile is.....DO NOT GO WITH VODAPHONE - they are liars and a complete scam, absolutely useless customer service operation and I cant wait to take my business elsewhere - I have been a loyal vodaphone customer for many many years, they have been the only provider I have ever used, but that loyalty counts for nothing to them

Online upgrade offers were poor so I called to find out what I needed to do to leave Vodafone. Cutting a very long story short the lady offered me a good upgrade on the phone I wanted (Samsung Galaxy Note 4. During the conversation I repeated at least 3 times that I didn't under any circumstances want a black phone. I was told that it was available in black, gold or white. I asked for white the lady checked the stock and said that that would be no problem as there was stock in white and duly processed the order. My phone arrived today .... its BLACK! I am seriously unhappy. Decided to call up right away and used the call back service so that I didn't have 'to wait on hold' - sure enough 15 ish minutes later I get a phone call back only to be held in a queue for 20 mins. I was then told that they couldn't help me because the department that deals with this is now closed I I have to ring back and go through the whole process again tomorrow adding even more time on to me actually receiving the phone I ordered. Yo sure know how to push your existing customers of some years standing to go elsewhere! Congratulations Vodafone!

Vodafone is absolutely appalling, only been with it a couple of months. They try and scam money out of you 24/7, it's a joke!! The amount of times I've had to ring them over the past couple of months over the same situation is ridiculous, they tell you it's sorted when it's not. Since I've changed my contract I've had a really bad experience with this company and so much money being demanded to pay when I shouldn't be paying anymore than I've already been told to. Wouldn't recommend it at all!!!! I've had my phone cut off far too many times because 'I haven't paid my bill' when I paid it two days ago!!!!

Been with Vodafone 10 plus years and every year it's gets worse over charging every month and now I find myself on the phone for 30 40 mins month in month sorting out there cock ups it's a bad service do not use I will be moving form them as soon as I get a chance

I have been with Vodafone for five months on a direct debit set up by Vodafone in store. Every month they chase payment then lock my phone requesting payment. Despite numerous calls and visits I am asked for the reason as to why I have not paid my bill and if I was to pay it there and then they could reconnect me. Reassured by staff that it was a Vodafone error - I paid what was owed only to experience the same threats and disconnection every month. My bank explained they could see payment was requested but Vodafone repeatedly input incorrect mandate numbers (mandate numbers are issued when setting up direct debit). Apparently common to Vodafone. Vodafone decided to start the process from the beginning but hey forgot or neglected to cancel the other two mandates. Vodafone was made aware of this clerical error, and again I was reassured it is a Vodafone error that will be rectified and I will be reconnected..........that was two days ago! Wishing I had remained with O2. To date I do NOT rate Vodafone, however two Members of staff do in my opinion deserve recognition.

My Boyfriend is with Vodafone. All he has had for the past 2 months is unknown payments of up to £900 and Vodafone can't seem to figure out how to do something as simple as cancel a past contract. Instead they charge him for 2 and add a cancellation fee everytime he rings up about it. I'm sick and tired of you vodafone making my boyfriend feel like absolute s**t. Sort yourselves out. You are all a bunch of retards! Learn how to treat your customers with respect or clearly you are going to loose business and get into some serious depth problems. Amen.

OK.... so my handset *(LG G4 ) failed ..and I took it back to the High Wycombe store to get it ... " repaired " !!. They gave me a form and said they would contact me when it is back. I went back, sorry .. not ready, so I went back again ... " it`s been repaired but not back yet " ... so I went back again " sorry ... it needs parts ?? " .... so ... I rang 191. Hello can I help you, yes ... when is my phone back please .... oh ... its been returned .... on the 21st @ 3.56 and signed for. But I ve been back 3 times since then including today. They say " sorry .. it needs parts . ... no no .. its back ... its been signed for. OH ...... so ..... VODAFONE`S idea of service ... is to LIE to their customers ...... so I hang up ... but I don`t trust them ...so I ring back ...and guess what .... none of my comments or complaint has been noted ..... BRILLIANT .... so if you like problems when things go wrong and get hacked off and LIED TOO, when they do ... then I can Highly recommend VODAFONE .... they ll give you the same customer service ... I got. Oh I nearly forgot ... the last person I contacted wanted me to hang up as they wanted to go home. Cheers ... still no handset .....

I've been with Vodafone for over twenty years as a contract customer, initially through my employer and later personally on a 'Sim only' deal. When I was offered a much cheaper and very similar deal with another supplier, I contacted Vodafone and asked if they could match it. After continually being given the run around over a period of weeks, they simply refused to answer the question, despite being passed to various departments. Therefore, I ended the matter, left and went elsewhere. Message her Vodafone, vastly improve and overhaul your Customer Services which are currently far from customer services, and stay competitive with other suppliers or your customers will do the same as I did and leave.

Of i could give 0 star I would ! Vodafone is one of the worst provider ever. Have been a customer for almost 4 years, I've always found my bills higher than expected! Once discussed to customers service regarding my bills they have found out that almost 200£ has been added to my bills without giving me any reason why! If I didn't try to understand my bill I would certainly had to pay the full amount ! Vodafone you are dishonest and thief ! Advice for all avoid being Vodafone customer !

I'd give a lower star rating if possible. I started a contract with them thinking they were reputable. However they would always add "late" payment fees to my bill even when I told them multiple times that it wasn't made available online because it isn't yet the bill due date. So basically I'm charged extra for paying my bill "late" when I'm paying it 2 days in advance. They're also no helpful if you call them, and when you speak to them on live chat they always promise to remove these charges but do f all. Now waiting for my contract to end so I can change to another network.
