Hi, Goods not delivered as ordered. Awaited in all day for a7.00-7.00 delivery spot. No communication from wickes at all. No email or chat available. 50 minutes wait time to get contacted. Sandy was no use or help, wickes couldn't be bothered to despatch on time or contact me. He hid behind small print, can't guarantee mayor time of delivery, But refused to accept their rule of cancelling the order within 14days or prior to despatch. Have no Idea when my order will be delivered. Will update later,But if you cannot get Locally don't order online.

We wanted to build a bespoke swing in front garden and though we've had bad experiences from Wickes before, due to CV19, there were no other timber merchants available, so; 230520 We placed our order from Wickes, delivery arranged for 080620. After we placed order, we realised we needed an extra item, so emailed to enquire how to add this extra item to order 240520 Wickes replied, to advise cannot add item to order, has to cancel and reorder We replied to request for order to be cancelled 260520 No reply from Wickes, we called, Wickes cancelled order, but advised this order is divided into two parts, Wickes part is cancelled and refund invoked immediately, however, other part is from timber merchant, have to wait 14 days. We made another new order. 290520 Delivery of 3 pieces of timber, realised they were from first order, not from our new order, courier instruct us to contact Wickes to arrange collection and refund. Immediately emailed Wickes to advise 030620 Received numerous automated template replies from Wickes, with no personal response to our concerns raised. 040620 Now the 3 pieces of large long timber (45 x 170 x 4800mm) are lying blocking our front garden path to the gate, causing both nuisance and health hazard to all of us, especially a 61yo man with heart condition, yet Wickes have yet to respond either to arrange recollection or refund, except to blame the CV19 situation for their malaise non existent customer service. I have asked my builders if they can use the timber, but they are not keen to do so, because as you can see from the photos attached, the 3 pieces of timber have large cracks (over 12cm), knot hole that goes right through its width and numerous tie cuts into its edges.

Bought 28 boxs of your urban grey tiles and they were all different sizes. Customers have been complaining about these tiles for at least four years and you have done nothing about it.Bought a tile cutter that does not work. Store manager will not return my calls. Customer service is a joke. I now see that Wicks is all about profit and ripping there customers off.

I ordered one fence panel on 4th April (along with some compost). The stated delivery date was 5th May. The compost turned up on 5th May but the delivery note states that they didn't pick the fence panel. Delivery driver said it was going to be delivered separately the same day. Nothing. The customer services line is engaged 8am-5pm. I have sent 4 emails carefully explaining the situation and including the delivery note - I have had one reply on 14th May promising delivery. Nothing. I went to local store who promised delivery on 1st June. Nothing. I needed to replace the fence panel before we moved out (3 weeks ago now) and Landlord is withholding return of my deposit (££££s) until the fence is fixed or he will employ a fencing company to come and replace it with £££s deducted from my deposit. Stupidly I held out all this time and have only realised that my experience is far from isolated. Just like the experience of others below, they have already taken my money. In the future I am going to avoid Wickes and Travis Perkins (parent company) at all costs as their systems, logistics and management appear shambolic.

I ordered some wood as I was building a decking platform. I understood I had to wait 3 weeks for delivery, that was fine. Delivery arrived but with only two thirds of the wood. What was missing was the wood for the frame so I couldn’t start work. I asked the delivery guy where was the rest and he just said they didn’t have enough and it was coming from another store. When, he didn’t know. No second delivery, this is where the big issue is. No contact what so ever from Wickes. Tried to call them over 100 times, 3 times I got through and after pushing the correct numbers a voice said customer service was shut, although I rang in opening hours. I ended up sending an email. So I’m sitting here days later, Wickes haven’t called or emailed to let me know when the rest of the wood is being delivered. Nothing! Never had such bad service and I do internet shopping a lot. Would not use again. Steer clear.

Where do I start,placed an order on the 5th of May for an in stock item due on the 25th.On the 23rd a nice young man who liked to call me Bruv called from the store and said my item was no longer in stock.On 24th had a text from courier to say I would get my delivery as planned.Got a text on the 25th to say my delivery had been made.Wher to I don't know.Rang customer services 5 times in 5days for information.Waste of time.Got a refund today on the 30th.Waste of a month.

Would recommend if you need your items delivered, they say there is a slight delay, which is understandible, but they have had ten weeks to put things in place, not slow in taking your money though.

Only gave one star because i can't give zero .ordered 2 tubs of cupinol fence paint online on 27th april delivery date 22 may when it was delivered said 1 missing 1 to follow rung pudsey store up leeds spoke to a very rude man who said don't know when the other one will be delivered as we haven't got any this was in stock when i ordered it afer a week rung again and was told the same thing then last night had a tex to say it will be delivered today between 7am to 5pm will never use wickes again

Wickes Pontefract - extremely rude staff, so unhelpful and talking down to customers, i wanted to order from store for delivery as tiles i want is in two colours - only one on website but boxes of both colours in the store. Appreciate the system has been turned off for delivering from stores due to current situation but the way staff dealt with me when i asked the question was shocking. Level of customer service in this branch is very poor.

Waited five weeks for a garden storage box. Phone call day before delivery, item out of stock. Complained to customer services by email, couldn't get through by phone. Still haven't got my money refunded ! No box! No refund! Avoid!

Unfortunately you are unable to give zero stars otherwise I would. I wish I had read this review site before ordering online from Wickes. I ordered a door was given a delivery date and the payment was taken from my account only to be informed the day before the delivery that the door would not be arriving. After a week of no contact I finally managed to speak to speak to somebody in Customer Services only to be told the door wasn't in stock and they would have no idea when or if it would be. Since then no refund has been given, no emails replied to and nobody is answering the phone. Please avoid unless you want to spend weeks of your time chasing up your orders or refunds which will not be forth coming.....a terrible company to deal with!!!

I ordered some fence posts and post mix on 17/5/20 was told first delivery slot was Thursday which would be 21/5/20 when items were not delivered I checked the order only to find delivery was 11/6/20 rang wickes customer service to query this date only to be told it was correct and I should have been told this when ordering this firm is a complete waste of space will never deal with again order cancelled no help whatsoever

Shocking experience. I placed two orders for both my bathroom and kitchen. You would think they would consider me a valuable customer! There was a problem with the bathroom tiles which were hugely varied in colour. The tiles were eventually replaced some four months later but now they are refusing to take the old tiles away even though I had paid for the waste to be collected. Admittedly, this was the second lot of tiles but even so, hardly my fault their tiles are all different colours. Customer service is shocking and they do not value your custom at all. Would never ever shop there again.

Had the misfortune of dealing with Nadir and his team in 2019. Nadir began by stating that our recently done bathroom was overpriced during the design consultation. He then promised the earth saying we would be provided "the best" builders. unfortunately he lied and we actually got builders who were meant to be checked on each day as it was their first kitchen. Obviously it was a complete disaster and the installation was done to a very poor standard with lots of damage around the house as well as damage and holes in the finished units. We were promised two weeks installation but in the end it took over seven months to complete. Simon the regional manager took over however he is uncontactable (even customer services can't get hold of him) and again failed on multiple promises to fix the work and offered a derisory gesture of goodwill of about 2% the total cost. The builders were fired but we were the ones who suffered. You can only assume they are due to employ new rookie builders for jobs coming up... The work was finally finished in February 2020 with customer services unable to get hold of anyone who can make a decision and they have stated explicitly it can be normal for it to take up to seven months to have work rectified. Unfortunately their current procedures are not up to a standard you would expect and you would be better off looking elsewhere. I have also just had to replace one of the isolation switches they placed due to it being faulty and repair the pipe to the washing machine.

I ordered some goods to be delivered and 1. Was told I had to go to the local branch to collect part of the order, but could not collect the rest - despite me ordering and being promised delivery of all the order. 2 . I was rung up the day before the rest of the order was due to be delivered to be told they had sold part of my order to another customer. On both occasions I was promised someone would ring me back , but I am still waiting. How can you sell half my order to someone else, when I had paid for it, and then ask me if I want to cancel the order . All I want is my order, but they still have not rung me back.

Have now ordered click and collect at the warrington store on two occasions. Both exactly the same result. After ordering I received an email confirmation. The web site says should be processed in about 8 hours barring sundays. Over 3 days later still no contact to say my order was ready. After contacting the helpline waiting and waiting then used the live text who did reply with 3 auto replies with nothing to do with my question. Phoned the store cut off 3 times and no answer twice. Eventually went well out of the way to the store who did eventually supply the goods. Wickes communication is non existing and I will never use them again. I understand it is a busy time but don't state you have a click and collect system when it does not work. When I arrived home 2 hours later I recieved a mail to state my collection was ready. What a joke.

Giving wickes 1 star because I can’t give zero . Ordered & paid for Keter garden storage box 24th of April with a delivery date of 19th may. That morning at around 10.15 got a text saying delivered coa.phoned customer services to say it hadn’t been delivered.after some time I was told it was coming directly from the Brentwood store so I took it upon myself to call them, I was told they didn’t deliver it because the order had been canceled,( not true ) said it would be delivered the next day Wednesday, Wednesday came & went still no delivery.phoned the store again lot of excuses,the driver must have left it at the wrong house ,you didn’t here him knocking, they will know he delivered Because the van has a tracker.,in the end they said they would send another one for delivery Saturday insinuating we were not telling the truth. Saturday came and went and no delivery, phoned the Brentwood branch Sunday morning spoke to Donna the manager who was very rude and irate was then told the truth. item wasn’t sent because it was damaged and they didn’t have any in stock have your money back.how wicks have been in business for so many years with this sort of service and management at their stores is beyond me.do not order goods from this company.

I received my delivery for a set of patio doors missing a door. When I spoke with the delivery driver he said the other door was turning up later that day because he couldn’t fit it all in he’s van. From this information I gave the fitter the go ahead to fit the new doors as he was booked in and waiting to start. The door never turned up so I had to pay extra for my builder to board up the gap and to try and make it weather proof. I have contacted wickes by email and phone and through the chat talk without any luck, either I get no reply or cut off after waiting for hours on hold. I also went down to the local wickes store and was told they couldn’t help me. I’m still left without my full patio door set it has already taken double the estimated delivery time and now I’m guessing on when I can get the job finished. I have had no info off wickes even tho they would of been aware they had sent out only part of the order. This has also had a knock on affect with the other work and tradesman booked in, the carpets are supposed to be fitted next in time for the new sofa all of that cannot be done until the doors are fitted. I also have to pay my fitter to come out again to finish the job so I’m seriously out of pocket and patience. Wickes do not seem to care about their customers I am a trade pro customer who usually use them regularly but that is not going to be the case in the future. I and no other builder I know has ever heard of half a patio door set turning up on a delivery it’s embarrassing for wickes and If I wasn’t so annoyed it would be laughable.
