SELLERS: AVOID AVOID AVOID. -Unable to verify and authentic item and asks for processing fee- Ridiculous company. I have recently sold an authentic Dior item on Vestaire and sent it to them, after ‘verification’ then they sent me the following email: Tell us more about Bracelets Dior o help us check your item’s authenticity, we’d like you to send us the following: - Proof of purchase - Details of where and when you bought it You’ll need to send these details to expertise-vestairecollective.com within 7 days. These are criteria’s that they didn’t ask for when I listed my item for approval/ before I post the item. I don’t know the exact details as the bracelet is a gift from my ex-boyfriend but it is for sure an authentic Dior. So didn’t reply to the email and days after I got another email asking me to pay them to get my item back: We would be happy to return the item to you. If you’d like to have it shipped to you, we just ask that you pay a fee of 12 £/€/$, which covers our processing costs per item. This 12 £/€/$ payment can easily be made via bank transfer using the following details: Bank: Crédit du Nord IBAN: FR76 3007 6020 2017 1439 0020 058 Account Number: 17143900200 BIC Code: (Bank Identifier Code) NORDFRPP IMPORTANT: Please ensure that the bank transfer description includes the item reference number and your surname and first name, as indicated on your Vestiaire Collective account. Once you have made the payment, please send us proof of the transaction. To do that, click below and complete the contact form using the following responses to the prompts: Topic: Seller I need some help with: Quality Control & Authenticity I have a question about: I’d like my item shipped back to me How ridiculous. They are literally charging sellers for their inability to verify the items by the so- called authentication team. So I contacted them with chat and the agent just replied with sorry I will let the team know about this but for now we will still need the processing fee to return the item. WHAT A SCAM.

Sold an authentic Chanel jacket in excellent condition. My listing had over 10 photos detailing the inside and outside of the jacket. I shipped the item right away to VC. I just received an email from them stating they are canceling the order because they could not verify authenticity and I must pay 12 Euros to get my $3K jacket back plus bank transfer fees! Wow! What a racket! Why didn’t they contact me first before canceling the sale. I emailed them (their customer contact info is so hard to locate on the site) with proof that my Chanel jacket is authentic including photos from the Chanel catalog showing the serial number, buttons etc on the catalog matches the details on my Chanel jacket. I am so angry. What a rip-off site. They are in the wrong here. Their authenticator is an amateur and should be fired. I will not back down because I know I am right. My Chanel jacket is authentic.

Will NEVER sell on VC again. I have tried to sell 6 items on VC and with TWO of them I had an issue. The other one was a Gucci handbag bought by myself directly from Gucci store and the listing was been refused. The other case were my Dolce & Gabbana shoes which were sold. Still the buyer could return them. No explanation to me why the return was possible. Again, the shoes were bought by me directly from store and in impeccable condition (many pics were attached). I mean, my experience with this place had been Beyond bad. I contacted the customer service (ie chat, no possibility to call) and there was this annoyingly polite but oh so ignorant SA who repeated that my issue is been taking care of. The only thing I got was this: rest assure, our IT team (what??!!) will take a good look on this. In the other place it was their Management and legal department that was taking care of my issue. Rest assure. O-M-G!!!! Pretty speechless after my experience. How to fight against the System??

Please do not buy from this company! I buy most of my items from secondary sites, which up until now have gone smoothly. This is my first and last purchase from this site. Purchased an item that had damage and differed from advertised listing. I was told by customer service all I could do was relist the item. I do not want to relist your damaged item. What I want is at least a partial refund.

If you buy from this website be careful, I paid extra for authentication of the bag which arrived with a broken strap making it unwearable it was also in much poorer condition than described and was poorly packaged. I sent multiple photos and videos and requested a refund of the full amount, I was than told to send it back for "reinspection" I sent it back but was told it matched the description despite it being clear it did not. They than sent it back with the strap loupes missing when I complained they said that they werr not missing they than sent me pictures of the bag being packaged which clearly showed them missing. After losing faith in the process I was able to uses my evidence to claim chargeback through my bank. I would urge anyone to do the same if you are going to buy from here and I would recommend you don't, ensure you keep records and pay through PayPal or on credit card to ensure you have a good claims procedure with your bank

Every time there is an issue Customer services ignore emails and are the worst in existence! Said my Gucci watch was fake and it is not... I have to pay 12 Euros for return which I have done with a £25 bank fee on top of that ! Need it back now to claim on Ebay if not sent immediately will take legal action against Vestiaire Collective for the cost of the watch! Disgusting service to a trusted seller! Communication 3 live chats and about 15 emails!

They force you to use direct shipping and then pick Hermes, the worst shipping company in the UK, so I sold an item and shipped, promptly on the 2nd of September, since the 6th there is no update on it, only they experiencing problems, Hermes refuses to talk to me, as Vestiaire issued the label. Vestiaire now demands my official ID, we are in the UK, since I don't travel abroad I have no passport, official IDs do not exist in the UK, also they want an SMS that the parcel has been dropped off, Hermes does not provide that, however it is registered in the system and Hermes claims since Monday at 8AM: We've got your parcel and it's on its way but a major event is slowing us down. We'll get it to you as soon as we can. Today is the 10th, Friday, so for 5 working days no update, and of course if the parcel is not delivered I won't get paid, my Missoni cardigan will be lost, Vestiaire demands things to "investigate" that you can't give them because they do not exist... Additionally, with their "direct shipping" you always run the risk of a buyer swapping the item or damaging it to be able to force a return!

Their website is full of fake items. Like on Ebay there are plenty sellers from Bulgaria trading their counterfeit goods.

This company is a joke. I tried to list a Gucci bag (with the receipts and everything) that I bought at the Gucci store and Vestiaire refused the item saying it wasn’t authentic lol. Do not buy from them, if they can mistake an authentic item for a fake then I’m sure that there are fakes they will mistake for authentic items.

If I can give 0 stars I would. This website is a total scam. The customer support teams that brings you in circles and keeps telling you they will pass the conversation onto someone from the "expert team" will resolve your issue, but no will ever contact you after the chat is closed.HUGE RED FLAG. Don't trust this platform as a buyer, you will send your expensive items and never get paid!!! I got passed from one customer support person to the next with nothing ever getting resolved. The buyer is also very frustrated since using their direct shipping tool on their platform, they never got the item. I sold a very expensive dress and dropped it off at a parcel point as per the Vestaire collective email instructions. The delivery company never picked it up, and had asked to pickup the item that is in Sydney, even though the buyer is located in Melbourne. The devilry team for some reason never picked up the item and I am getting angry messaged from the buyer saying that the parcel is still in Sydney, and I am getting emails from Vestaire saying the parcel is awaiting pickup. Even though the courier never picked it up, and Vestaire collective (who are the only one able to contact them since they have the item). When I contacted the support, the support team member even lied to me saying that the buyer contacted the support team today and said they were picking up the item. (Total lies! Because the buyer contacted me saying that she is unable to pickup the item because the pickup location never changed). The never got the dress, and I never got paid. The dress is still with the courier and I just lost a very expensive dress which has been unable to be retrieved. I also wasted hours with the customer support team. DO NOT USE THIS PLATFORM. IT IS A SCAM. AND THEY DO NOT HAVE PROPER CUSTOMER SUPPORT OR A WORKING CONTACT NUMBER.

Hands-down the worst selling experience I’ve ever had. It all started with the shipping instructions provided by Vestiaire, which advised that I should print the shipping label and drop the package at a local Couriers Please drop off location. After attending a number of supposed drop off locations in my area, where nobody had ever heard of Couriers Please, I finally called Couriers Please and was told that they’d tried to collect my item on the day it sold (which is impossible since it sold on a Tuesday night, and nobody ever contacted me to arrange a collection). In any case, I arranged for a collection on Friday, and my buyer confirmed receipt on the following Monday and said she was really happy with the shoes. I checked the app and it was still saying I needed to post the item or my sale would be cancelled, which was odd since the buyer already had the item. So I contacted customer service - don’t even get me STARTED on how diabolical customer service is - next to impossible to connect with a human, and none of your chat logs are saved so you have no record of what you’ve discussed with previous customer service representatives and have to rehash issues over and over each time you speak with a new person. I spoke with customer service on 3 separate occasions, and each time I was told ‘it’s ok, it’s a back end issue, we will fix it, don’t worry your sale won’t be cancelled’ etc. 7 days after my item sold, my buyer contacted me to let me know she had been refunded - lo and behold, my sale had been cancelled. Contacted customer service again and was told they’d ‘cancelled my sale because I didn’t post the item within the 7 day period’ 😐😐😐 It’s now been two weeks since my item sold and still no resolution with Vestiaire. Thankfully my buyer is an honest person and we worked out a way to contact each other outside the platform and resolved the issue. In short DO NOT use this platform as a seller, particularly for high value items - you may not get as lucky as I did with my buyer and could be out hundreds/thousands of your buyer receives both the item and a refund and then refuses to pay or return the item.

Wish I looked at here before I used this website. They sent me horrible dirty shoes and when I complained and wanted a refund they say ok send us back we will give you a full refund and then their “expert team” decided the shoes are ok so they didn’t refund my money back. Every word is lie from the beginning to the end. I am going to small claims court to get my refund, if anyone has the same problem I am planning to start a class action lawsuit. Untrustworthy, low quality company
