Purchased in error 2 PlayStation bundles on Black Friday. Cancelled online within 12 minutes of the order being placed and backed up this cancellation with an email to customer services too. I was advised the following day that they would attempt to stop it. By the Sunday I was advised they could not stop the order and I would be receiving both and it was my responsibility to return and pay (with insurance) for the unwanted product - NOTE Distance Selling Regulations confirm that if you the consumer cancels the order before it was despatched then the company should pay for the return. apparently my order was despatched on Black Friday at around 9pm when I completed the order - yeah right. After agreeing for them to collect the order via Yodel on the 5th December and waiting for a refund, they advise me it will take up to 10 working days to arrive at their warehouse, 3 working days to process the order and then a following 5 working days for it to credit my card which I used to purchase. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE SCAMMERS - You will see from other reviews they send a stupid generic reply about feeding back the service blah blah blah. If you are caught in the same position, speak to your bank in the first instance and get them to arrange a chargeback rather than waiting up to a month for Zavvi to apply a refund. WORST COMPANY EVER - DO NOT BUY.

Purchased an Xbox One in the Black Friday sale, after weeks of waiting the order was cancelled by Zavvi with only an apology. As we now had to purchase elsewhere at a more expensive price Zavvi refused to compensate in any way. All responses were robotic. Overall a joke of a company. Will never use again.

Ordered an XBox One S 1tb with FIFA 17, only received the console and after several robotic e-mails not addressing the issue I had to request a return. If you were able to have a decent e-mail conversation with someone who had half a brain then this issue could have been resolved easily, however this is simply not possible. I am awaiting a 2nd requested collection....they didn't turn up for the first. This is my first and last purchase from Zavvi their customer after sales service is appalling.

Pre-ordered items in September, due out for delivery in October and November, but neither were sent and after robotic email replies, I've cancelled the order in December, but they are not acknowledging the issue, and today I've received an email addressed to someone else, and I've found many others have had the same issue, and are having the same issues as myself. It seems Zavvi (and others like MyGeekBox, controlled by the Hut Group) are being offered deals on items that wont be in stock for months, but this is not given as a warning when placing the orders, and some are having difficulty getting their money back when cancelling, I've read a review about someone having to take them to court over it, and it's very troubling when their customer service team do not seem to be able to offer any real support to their customers. Very sad indeed.

Ordered PS4 bundle on cyber Monday (having passed up a number of perfectly reasonable offers from other vendors). Five days later (and after all bundle deals had stopped being promoted) Zavvi cancelled my order. I assume that they had some ideas about the number of orders that they'd have been able to meet and so I'm suspicious as to why I couldn't have been informed that stocks were running low or that the bundle had sold out. I am now in a position where I need to pay a much inflated price for the bundle. Very galling as I passed up a number of offers from reasonably well regarded and reliable vendors (John Lewis/Argos/Amazon). Needless to say, I'll not be using zavvi in future!

Did not recieve my order, customer service after a week of back and forth still have not told me where my order is or why I have not recieved it, also no offer of a refund or replacement

80911642 1st time ordering and last disgusting ordered 18th November and nothing arrived . So checked up as paypAl payment not taken. Account cancelled so had to make new one thanks can't get items now

I placed an order for a ps4 bundle, realised I could simply get in from another store for £5 more, so cancelled the order about 10 minutes after placing it. I also noted on the order, that while it stated free next day delivery, the delivery estimate was in 5 days time. A little annoying, but not a big deal as I was cancelling the order. Around 5 hours later I received an email from Zavvi stating the order could not be cancelled and offered their apologies. Bu this point, the order was still in processing and had not been dispatched. I contacted Zavvi to ask why the order could not be cancelled if it was still with them and why the free nexy day delivery wasn't being applied either. They replied stating that as it had entered the 'dispatch process' it couldn't be cancelled. It was literally about 10 minutes between initial order and attempted cancellation. I can only guess the systems they use behind the scenes are pretty hopeless and not a company I would want to deal with any time soon.

I was checking the deals during Black Friday and I purchased a PS 4 PRO + PS VR bundle from zavvi.com. The promised dispatch date was 28/11/2016. I spent almost £700 for it. I read all the bad comments but I thought "Hey, I'll be fine!". Nope, of course not. That was naive of me. I got a message from zavvi.com saying "I am really sorry that this has not yet been dispatched. This item is on special order for you with our supplier but at this time they are unable to give me a date for when they will have it back in stock." The translation: "Hey, sorry but we can't deliver the goods on the promised date. Ah also we don't know when we'll be available to deliver it. No compensation, no elegancy and offering the money back. We'll just stick to your money until you cry about it." I am in line of contracting and I'd feel really embarrassed if I took someone's £700 and promise to deliver a job then act dodgy but not these guys obviously. Thanks to these guys I am missing Black Friday because they answer messages like in 5 hours and I also spent £700 for this so I need the cash back in order to buy a new one... I strongly recommend you to buy stuff from reliable sites, the stress and all the pain they cause. Just not worth it...

Literally the worst online shopping experience of my life i purchased a pair of shoes for £54.99 and sent them back within a few days because they didn't fit , it's been a few months and I have still not heard from them neither have I had a refund , I have emailed them about 5 times and they have not replied. This website is a scam. Do not purchase anything from this website!

On 14thOctober I ordered a Star Wars Millenium Falcon for my grandsons 6th birthday on 27th.October. I received an email on 17th.October saying order had been dispatched and estimated delivery would be 26th.October or sooner. Nothing has arrived and we are going to have a very disappointed little boy tomorrow. IF you can't fulfill the order, why not say so in the first place Last time I will use this company.

Beware – Zavvi is a scam company with the worst customer service that I have ever seen On 18/8/16 I purchased a monthly subscription for a ZBox that my daughter wanted. (paid 21.41 Euro). On 12/9/16 I sent them a message saying that I haven’t received my order yet. On 23/9/16 they charged you charged my credit card for another 23.79 Euro…. even though I told them that I haven’t received the first month’s ZBox. My daughter really wanted this ZBox so I tried hard to make this work. Overall I have send them around ten messages about this issue. They reply after one day from a “no reply” email address and every time I had to login to their website and send them a message. Each time a different sales representative replied to my message, without being familiar with the case or being able to provide a proper response. I asked them several times to cancel my monthly subscription and refund my money or send me the ZBox's that I paid for but they keep coming up with excuses. They said that they are unable to cancel my subscription because “as of yet the cancellation period is currently not open”! Whatever that means. I subscribed to a monthly subscription (not annual) and I want to cancel it. Only a scam company would provide such silly excuses trying to prevent their customers to unsubscribe from a service that they don’t want. For the first time in my life I will have to call my bank and ask them to do a chargeback. What began as buying a present for my daughter ended as a very frustrating experience and a waste of my time. I wish I had seen this page before I give them my credit card details.

Good until you have a problem... I preordered PES 2017 with a hope to get it on release date. After the release date I got an email apologising there had been delays obtaining stock and that it would be dispatched soon. Even though it would have been nice to receive it on day of release (15/09/16), I was not that worried and was just looking forward to getting the game. I received a dispatch note on the 16/09/2016 with a view to receiving it around 20/09/2016. It is now the middle of 06/10/16 and I still do not have it. You cannot call and speak to anybody as they do not have phones, choosing to rely on templated responses via their customer service portal. To cut a long story short, 7-8 messages later they are asking me to fill in a royal mail investigation form (process could take another 10 days) which has still not arrived either. Even though this has not arrived, I am amazed they think it is the customer responsibility to manage their own logistical problems. On sending another contact form saying I had not received this Royal Mail form I received the same templated response back word for word again as if I had never made the original contact! I have sent back a refund request. Ignored that. Sent another. See what happens now. Oh and any contact takes up to 48hrs and they close all customer service issues after responding without resolution. I have ordered things in the past from Zavvi and received them fine but this has shown the risk you take when ordering from them.

Sent wrong item made me pay to return it and then took almost six months to send me correct item. Poor communication throughout and refused to refund me the extra postage they made me pay to return the wrong item

This was my first and my last time ordering from zavvi. Pre order was a day late (other retailers deliver on the day) Also tried to refer a friend using their scheme. When the credit wasn't applied I contacted customer services who first said they have no such promotion or offer. Really? Staff are not aware of the promotions they have. After a week later writing to them they tell me that my friend must have not followed the procedure correctly thats why I have not received the credit. It's a matter of entering a code which is not a very complicated procedure to follow. Generally zavvi is just a bad experience. Customer service is not helpful at all. Seems like copy and paste responses. Why anyone shops here i'll never know. I've requested they delete my account. There are many retailers online that do care about little things like getting pre orders to you on the day of release and actually want to help you when things go wrong. Avoid zavvi untill they value customers. Save yourself alot of hassle. UPDATE: after explaining my issues to zavvi and requesting to close my account I received this message: Thank you for getting in touch about your account closure. I have requested this account to be closed for you and this will be done shortly. If there is anything else that we can do, then please do not hesitate to get in touch and a member of our team will be happy to help. Kind regards, Oliver Zavvi.com Customer Service Team Absolutely no mention of why I want to close my account, no apologies and no attempt to remedy my issues and keep me as a customer, this is how much zavvi value YOU! Hi everyone, Zavvi is one of my worst webshopping experience. Preorder 4 items mid-august and dispatched mid-september. Website claims "delivery in 2 to 4 days" (I chose Express Delivery which is not free !). Still no items in my mailbox today. Website support is a joke / Facebook does not answer / Twitter answers (one sentence per hour !) and they explained me that my order can take more than 21 days as it comes from USA !!!!! How can it be possible ? I ordered on a french website in french language. Original seller is in UK but they ship from USA ? With more than 21 days delay ? I opened a case on Paypal (I absolutely advise you to pay with it, more secure...). As a collector, member of many FB groups, I'll never order again or advise anybody to order from them.
