We ordered a table six chairs and side board in november 2018 the delivery came in feburary 2019 ,the table was damaged in manufacturing and was obviously not checked before leaving the wearhouse also one of the main support beams under the table was split .after a long time on the phone to c/s and new exchange date and promise to call 2 days before was arranged for the 5th of april ,this day came without any contact other from delivery men to say they were collecting table but had no replacent .once again c/s was called and new delivery and exchange was arranged with comfirmation of a call two days before for today 13th april ,a call did come from the store to ask us to arrange delivery ,which comfirmed they have no communication with c/s. Then we were told we were on the delivery list,here we are 13 april 16.21pm no call from delivery after several calls to store where they say they have no communication with the delivery men and no idea where our replacement table is or if its coming at all,the poor guy in the store now has promised to deliver it himself ,if he can do it why cant harveys. We intend to sent all products back and start again somewhere else if the table dosnt appear.very bad service harveys let down the poor colleauges that try to give good service thay are a joke.

We ordered our sofa on November 2nd. We had tests in January asking us to call and arrange a delivery date, which we tried to do. You can never get through. Eventually, the calls and texts started daily asking us to pay, but we didn't yet have a delivery date. I had 3 texts in one day! Anyway, Sofa was not delivered, we had no reason why, although they asked us not to pay until they found out what had gone wrong and they could locate the missing sofa. We were told we could get compensation and it was put on our notes!!! 6 months later we have a sofa. NO COMPENSATION. I would AVOID HARVEY's at all cots. It's not worth the hassle or stress. The C.E.O of Harveys must be so embarrassed to work for such a dreadful company. Had I read all the reviews I would have taken a photo of the sofa I liked and had it made elsewhere!

I would give these guys a zero if I could. 11 weeks of waiting for a sofa; sofa actually went missing somehow. Terrible communication from customer services, nobody had a clue what they were doing. Finally arrived with the corner sofa connections in the wrong place and a missing footstool. Still chasing Harvey's as they avoid contacting you and keeping you in the loop.

BAD we ordered a corner sofa and never showed up we were told it was in the wear house then we apparently cancelled the order 😤

If I could leave a ‘zero star’ review I would! It has been a disaster from start to finish, they had the wrong address 3 times, and said they couldn’t do anything and the sofa would be delivered to a random address 10 miles away. Delivery was given as 5 weeks, and 11 weeks later and several hours spent on hold, the sofa and footstool were delivered. This sounds like it should be the end of the story but it isn’t, the legs on the sofa at incorrect and the footstool is completely wrong. We have been told that if we want to correct their f*ck up, it will cost us an additional £170. We can never get hold of anyone; the staff are incredibly rude. I think the whole thing is disgusting and I really hope people stop ordering from Harvey’s and the store has to stop trading. They are taking hard earned money from customers and are incapable of delivering the products.

I have had to give a star as no star is no an option. Utter rubbish, do not purchase from this company. The corner suite came from a distribution centre in Ayre, it is dropped off in a pod along with other furniture to a delivery company, who are NOT Harveys. This company is not interested when there are problems such as a full section missing to our corner suite. In fact according to delivery guys they never have a day where something isn't wrong. It took us nearly a month of phone calls to the shop as customer services doesn't answer to finally get our missing section delivered. We are still waiting for a repair to be done, a repair of a defect the suite had when it was delivered. They have requested photos of the defect twice, but still no response as to when a repair will be made. In my opinion Harveys is one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with regarding customer service and I would strongly advise that you go elsewhere.

Dont order from harveys terrible customer service had a delivery date for the 10/4/2019 phoned up harveys after waiting an eternity told that its dhl who are delivering the sofa but havent a clue when an i dont even know if sofa is ready or not asked for a refund as broke contract then they am trying to keep 20% they can think again im taking this further its disgusting they am quick enough taking your money though out of principle now i want my money back i wouldnt be surprised if this is the next retailer to go into receivership because of how terrible they actually am plus ordered a table an guess what thats not coming either out of stock just great

Avoid at all costs. This company either doesn't give a stuff about its customers, or it's about to go bankrupt. Customer service is almost non existent, the stores don't care "We just sell it mate" Customer service "helpline" puts you on hold for hours, and then attempts to correct things within 12 weeks, but not really. My Advice DO NOT BUY FROM HARVEYS.

Sofa never turned up. Harvey's don't care about there customers. Still waiting 1 week on still no update when my sofa will arrive!!!! Shocking customer service!!!

Ordered a sofa, chair and rug in March. Repeatedly told salesman what I wanted. The rug to be a lulu type in black. An alternative was sent. I checked online and Lulu manufacture does not make the rug in black? Took rug back to shop and had to wait a week and a half for refund processed by the shop over the phone after initially being told the Harvey store wasnot responsible for refunding me!? Received a call from dhl saying delivery from harveys was ready and to book a day for delivery. They could not tell me if the delivery was for the sofa and/or chair? Phoned customer service. Three hours later was answered but told they could not confirm? Phoned salesman in shop who took three days (phoning him daily)to confirm both sofa and chair is ready for delivery. Arranged delivery with dhl over a week ago for Monday 8th just gone, day taken annual leave as told between 7am and 7pm. Got existing sofa removed on Sunday 7th. Was contacted by dhl Monday morning at 10am to be told delivery won’t be taking place and was unable to explain why? Phoned Harvey’s and they couldn’t answer why either? Went to shop Monday afternoon and they didn’t care and said it was out of their hands. I have been ringing the shop, dhl and Harvey’s and no one can tell me what’s happened to my sofa and when a new delivery date can be scheduled? Sitting on floor for third night now and with Easter on the way and family from Australia coming to stay, not to mention my pregnant wife of five months, I’d simply like to say to you Harvey’s....... Thank you very much, that’s the nicest thing that anyone’s ever done for me!!!!!!!!???? I’m still waiting

I don’t usually leave bad reviews however, I think I should warn any potential future customers of the dreadful company. Stay away from them. I purchased a sofa on 9th of January and promised a delivery within 9 weeks. They called me that mid march to say the sofa is ready and I would have to pay the balance and arrange delivery. I have paid and arranged delivery however, their delivery partners DHL called me the previous evening prior delivery that there is a delay (no reason given) and they will call me to rearrange. Since then, I have been trying to speak to customer services at Harveys with no luck. DHL are also unreachable. I understand delays can occur however, the lack of communication and the fact that they dont seem to care after they got my money angers me. Luckily, I paid with a credit card and will be disputing the transaction. Appalling company, shut it down and go home...

Sofa was delivered late & damaged. After a 2 hour wait at the customer service telephone line was informed that there is nothing customer services can do. Would not recommend.

Told one and a half hours before allocated delivery time that my order was not complete. Customer service said it will take up to 72 hrs to complete a warehouse search to see if they can find the missing items. I have been in contact with the store twice to delay the delivery date and been told that my order was. “Sitting waiting for me” I have no dining furniture and nobody appears to be able to do anything about it. All seem to be beholden to the 72 hour warehouses search. To say I am annoyed, frustrated and upset would be an understatement

Very unhappy. Had a delivery booked, but wrong sofa on the van so sent it back.....cannot get an answer fro Harveys or DHL regarding my sofa.....Harveys report they cannot get through to DHL to find out what is happening!!! Who organised that system!!! Fell very pessimistic, when will this be resolved????

After buying 3 sofas and dining table from Harvey’s over the past 5 years I was happy to go into store and buy again. Big Mistake We already had a large corner unit which I felt was just to big for our living room so decided to go for a 3seater 2seater the same design and colour as our corner unit after going into shop and seeing what we wanted we ordered it,thinking no more about it. Told it would take approx 13 wks. Finally after 16wks our sofas arrived once they were in I thought they did not look as big as we expected! But as my mother in law had just died and we were busy dealing with her estate etc,I left it a few days, after I took a better look at sofas and the order form and from the one we had previously I realised that this was definitely not the one we ordered, it was same colour and style but obviously cheaper and small bearing in mind we had sat on sofas in shop as my husband is 6ft 3in we made sure it was big enough, and we had measured it and the one they sent was very small. Next day we went into the shop to ask for help in sorting this out basically only to be told well you will have to contact service dept as we only sell the furniture!! To say I was upset was not the words I would use, after always using this store I was disappointed ☹️ I had to wait till the Mon to phone customer services and what I difference ! The girl I spoke to could not have been nicer she was very apologetic and said they should have tried to help me ? Anyway upshot is they have offered me either to re order or give me money and keep sofas, as I told her I am not going back to shop and will not wait another 16 wks for sofas. We have decided to take the money which was quite substantial and are selling the the sofas privately. We have ordered new ones from oak furniture and getting one in 7 days and the other one in 3 weeks So just shows you you don’t have to wait 16wks for sofas. Rant over but will say there customer service was excellent.

Placed an order for a sofa in the beginning of October for end of November delivery. Just before Christmas (while I have been sitting on the floor for 2 months I am told that they cannot delver until January. Panic buy an Ikea sofa to save Christmas. In January I am told it will be delivered in mid February. I wait at home for delivery in February and then I am told it will be delivered one day later. I tell them not to do so as I ma travelling ...but next day I get a call as they try to deliver anyway (while I am out of the country). Postponed by one MONTH again as computer systems do not allow anything else!!!! ("We need to let the delivery fail first!") One month later I wait for delivery - I even call them in the morning and they say that the sofa will be delivered. Except that I get a call at 11 that it cannot be delivered as it is in the other warehouse. They are not allowed to call the other warehouse!! Finally somebody starts breaking the rules and asks for manager permission to call the other warehouse and they find the sofa. Sofa is delivered six months (half a YEAR) late after 25-30 calls to customer services (5-60 mins each), numerous promises to call me back but nobody did until last week. These guys will go out of business - it's 2019 now and their systems are just unbelievable inflexible and costly to manage. Promised max compensation but that is not good enough.

Ordered sofa online. Was told 6 weeks delivery time. As six week approached I contacted Harvey's to give me a date as had no email or text at all since purchased. Was told 26th March. I rang again on 23rd march to double check and was told definitely 26th. I rang DHL to confirm this was correct and they confirmed 26th March between 12 and 4pm. Got rid of my old sofa and booked time off work ready for deliver. Got a call from DHL at 2pm on 26th March to say it will not be getting delivered as it has been lost by Harvey's. I rang Harvey's and they said it has been lost by DHL. Had no explanation or phone call since which I was promised. Nearly impossible to speak to either of them. Finally got in touch with Harvey's on 29th March still no update and the advisor wouldn't let me speak to a manager. I spoke to DHL on 30th March and still no update. Unbelievable how tm2 well known companies can be so poor. Very disappointed. I just want to know when and if my sofa I have already paid for will actually come.

i was concerned about reading the horror reviews ref: long waits damaged goods, substandard service etc. the only thing i can agree with is that to gain your sales they lead you to believe only 5-6 weeks delivery, the normal scale is 12-13 weeks. i was given a provisional date for the 26th march and the delivery did take place then and i am really happy with my new furniture - so well done harveys you've put my mind at rest.

As has been highlighted before I begrudge having to give them even a 1 star rating, wish I had seen a lot of the comments before placing my order three months ago. Dining Room table & chairs, & living room furniture ordered with a 12 week delivery time, no communications form them at all. You have to chase them, emails take them 10 days to respond, you wait an hour on hold to get through to their customer service number, that's if you don't give up the will to live in between. No.20 in the queue, must taken them an awful long time to deal with the volume of customer complaints unless they only have one guy dealing with it and he went out to lunch or for a quick run. Anyway I digress slightly when finally get through to enquire where our delivery was, another hold as he was starting his system up. He found the order and then told us initially that the items had been taken off the delivery, this was changed to problem with stock to ....... whatever excuse they could come up with. So you place your order wait months, take time off work, sit at home all day waiting for them and nothing. Fuming is not the word, how this company can still be in business I don't know. Do yourselves a favour steer clear of them, go elsewhere for your furniture

Ordered a corner sofa staff in store where lovely and very helpful after a few years my frame and springs went which were covered under the 10 year guarantee. It has been 4 months since I told them sofa getting worse been on the phone constantly to customer service who don't care what so ever and keep palming you off when you ask for a supervisor they are never available and will call back and don't last phone call was told they would fix it but don't know when it would be and when it breaks again they will replace I pursue after another 4 months plus of me calling .will never buy from here again Dave your money and time and go somewhere else
