I have been with TSO Host for about 10 years. The service has declined consistently to the point that it is almost non existent. The tech response to my questions is only via email and not relevant to what I'm asking. I will seek to leave TSO Host asap.

I don't know where to start. No phone numbers, live chat works intermittently and when you do get through to someone, they aren't technical and can't help with anything. Support tickets are ignored for days. Tso messed up a server migration and my website went offline. A week later, my ticket hadn't been responded to and the live chat people's only solution was for me to wait for it to be looked at. I moved my hosting elsewhere and the site was up and running within 4 hours of requesting a migration. Despite being two days into my hosting package renewal, and Tso failing to provide the service, they're refusing a refund. Avoid this company.

Appalling service from what used to be an OK hosting team. I've had over a dozen attempts at contacting them through their ridiculous ticket system (can't call them anymore!) with no help whatsoever or explanation for why they've deleted my two email addresses! Live chat doesn't exist either despite invites to do so! Like other reviewers have said, how do they get away with it?!! They happily took a recent subscription payment and within a couple of days cut me off. Avoid at all costs!

AVOID. Used to be excellent but not any more. I was forced to change to a more expensive package, paid 12 months up front. Was told I could cancel any time and receive partial refund. A few months later I cancelled - and was then told no refund was allowed. I walked away and am SO glad not to be with them any more!

Absolutely rubbish, cant call them with issues, lice chat never works, i don't know how they get away with it in this day and age, should be shut down

TSO Host - Can you REALLY AFFORD to join??… TSO Host offered to upgrade to a new package on new servers. I had recently renewed at £110 for the year. The move across to the new servers would be an equivalent price. I would have to do the move myself manually. They made the offer then said, I'd have to pay an extra £80 for the new servers. They would not make the difference or refund the renewal which was 12 days ago. I've been a client for over 10 years. If this is how a company treats long term clients. God forbid how they'll treat you.

I have no clue where the other site reviews for TSO Host get their positive reviews from. Stay away from TSOHost - they used to be good a few years back, but now they are one of the worst!!!

Never pay this company for 12 months upfront! We are a long time customer and we're forced to change servers when they retired an old one. We chose a new VPS based on the info on their website and paid for 12 months upfront at £736. It turned out the new server didn't have some of the essential features that were advertised on their website once we'd set it up and started trying to migrate accounts across. After many unsuccessful attempts to solve things with their support, we gave up and asked for a refund. We were told that since it was after the 28-day refund period (by about 2 weeks), we could not have a refund, not even a partial one! So we've paid for 12 months of service and got absolutely nothing for it! I'm completely disgusted with the way we've been treated. We're now in the process of migrating all our accounts from our other TSO server to a new supplier as quickly as possible so we can be done with them, never to return.

Absolutely terrible company, I was forced onto them several years ago as they acquired some good hosting companies I was using at the time. It's been a shocking service since, some servers get completely hacked and then all sites on the servers are infected no matter how secure they are. Support seems to be out sourced now, and is very bad. They did used to be ok, but stay clear for your own good, it's cost me a lot of lost revenue. I'm no longer with them as everything was moved and no problems since.

DON'T USE THEM! Have been with tsohost since 2008. Service was very good back then. Has become very poor over the last two years, outsourcing to Eastern Europe I think, and support is really dire and ignorant. Today, after "migrating" my until today well working website, because of too little bandwidth, to a new economy package (£120 just for the migration, which was FREE before!), they then said they also had to add a new SSL package (£59, and before SSL had worked well!). And now, my website can no longer be found! It's completely disappeared ("File not Found"). They say it's not their fault and I should contact a web designer. Well, I AM a web designer. Extremely upsetting, as I might lose all my work which went in it. I "raised a ticket" with them, but it's weekend now...

I purchased from them a WP hosting service in December 2022. My website and email were setup and I installed a couple basic plugins and set my website to show under construction at the front end. My website was dormant until a few days ago that I logged in to work on my website and I realised that I could do nothing, I can't install any plugins anymore. The only thing that changed since the time my WP was operating is TSOHOST's auto updates and nothing else. For days I've been trying to resolve the issue, opening tickets and what they do is that they forward to another person giving ZERO SUPPORT. Seriously the company is in a shambles! I used to host an e commerce website with them years ago and they were very good, this is why I decided to host my WP with them. Now TSOHOST is horrible and they can't resolve the issues THEY cause to your website. Stay away!!!! If you go to their website their team is two members !!!

Please don't use this service. They used to be good but now they are knowingly selling plans on "old shared servers that have a lot of users on them, memory issues may appear" and that it was "common to experience intermittent service" (these are direct quotes). They refuse to refund me and are trying to sell me a new package.

BAD EXPERIENCES - PLEASE READ BEFORE CHOOSING TSOHOST: I rarely leave reviews, typically only for services that deserve a particular and positive shoutout, however, this is not my experience with tsoHost. Having been a customer since 2014, registering 95 domains through the platform and running hosting, emails, and SSLs through tsoHost, I must WARN PEOPLE ABOUT HOW BAD THE SERVICE AND SUPPORT RESPONSE TIMES ARE NOW. This was not the case previously, it was a great service with really helpful support but they have trimmed the service side down to nothing. I think this happened after GoDaddy acquired tsoHost. If you need a service you can rely on, don't choose tsoHost. I would be weary of GoDaddy going the same way, given the association. tsoHost mention 24/7 service but run an online chat service 9-5 mon-fri and ticket service. The ticket service in my experience can take up to a week to hear back from them, let alone receive meaningful assistance. If you have a problem with sending or receiving emails or hacking or tsoHost server issues - anything important - don't expect help. It may be that the individuals working in tech support are great and trying really hard but not being given the backup required. In any case, what is received on the sharp end is now terrible. I have 35+ open ticket threads. I try not to be a complainer, I am a fairly tech savvy individual that just wants the service to be reliable and there to be help if something fails. I would have moved my services away from tsoHost a long time ago, but they have made this difficult - especially with the lack of support. I will be doing so now, as I've had enough. I know my experience won't be everyone's but if you simply can't afford for these types of things to happen, don't choose tsoHost. SAVE YOURSELF A NEGATIVE EXPERIENCE.

I have been a client of TSO Host for 10 years and have now moved thankfully at the end of March 2023. The quality of their customer service has reduced markedly over the past 2 years to be something that no longer resembles either service or customer fcoussed. Examples of issues are: live chat is dire and doesn't resolve the issue and when I raised an issue like asking why I was paying more for an email hosting than they had advertised I was given no instructions or help to move across. As a small business owner I felt incredibly unsupported and after a couple of false starts I managed to move and I have not looked back. I do not recommend them at all, incredibly unhelpful.

I've been trying to get a refund for my webhosting for almost a year now. Customer service is abysmal, I get a reply from a new person each time and nobody is actually doing anything to process my refund. Tsohost's justification for charging me more than quadruple my original sign up cost (in 2018 it cost me £15, in 2022 they charged me £80) was that they had discontinued the service that I was being provided and my new service was better. Frankly, I don't give a toss - it's theft. If no response from the customer, the default should be to cancel the service. The cost per annum had crept up to £30 which I was able to shrug my shoulders at, but this is too far. I'm furious, frustrated, and this is stupidly difficult. I have better things to do than waste my time chasing a web-hosting service for money and writing bad reviews, yet here I am.

Dropped hosting service without warning and gave people a week to save website. Extremely stressful, poorly executed removal of service and no care for customers. Many trying to take them to court for list business

Mirroring the same issues as pretty much everyone else here - service has gone through the floor with no phone or live chat support anymore. Takes days for ticket support who respond with irrelevant or idiotic responses, or just close your request altogether. We are experiencing multiples of emails a day not being received from valued clients - TSO just claim that we are lying and they were never sent, despite finding the same with our own test emails. Package prices went up 5x with little warning. Convoluted and complex interface with no real support. We will be migrating elsewhere when our year package ends. Shame, they used to be good.

Scammers. Terrible service. Avoid Tsohost they rip people off. If you must use them expect to get charged for services you aren;'t even using.
