“My TV was left in a WOODEN i.e. not weatherproof, UNLOCKED shed in the front garden, and a note left through the door - even though there was someone in.
This is totally unacceptable - if anyone had seen them leaving the TV in the shed it would have been stolen and I would have been liable.”
“Our TV unit was dumped in the front garden as we were out when the delivery was made. Thankfully it wasn't damaged or stolen. We also weren't able to select a delivery date until a failed delivery had been made, which seemed pretty daft to me.”
“Supplier gave wrong address and despite numerous calls to supplier and XPD and promises from the manager Ian at XPD that item would delivered to the correct address it was then left at the wrong depot. Item was just left in warehouse all weekend. This wasted two days of my time waiting for a delivery that never arrived despite the courier promising it would be. Absolutely terrible company I will never use you by choice. A delivery company that can't get an item 30 miles down the ride to their other depot else spite having 3 days to do it is just unacceptable”
“This is not my first delivery via XDP,but it is the first time I have been asked to submit a review rating what I think of their performance.
The cynic in me asks if I have been asked to submit a review due to the fact I sent a sarcastic e-mail directly to my local XDP depot slating them for failing to respond to a request (via e-mail as too early in the day to contact customer services by phone)to hold parcel as unable to accept delivery at the time they said they would deliver(they notified me at 06:30 of a 09:06-12:06 delivery for that day),actually delivering to a neighbour 7 hours later than delivery window even though someone was in by that time, failing to leave a card detailing where parcel had been left and, finally,a broken promise by their customer services (when I finally managed to contact them the following day) that the delivery driver would contact me to reveal the whereabouts of my parcel.
So,what do you think that I think about the service offered by XDP?”
“Friendly and on time but in a real rush . They were quite rough with my new very expensive matress and I was worried they'd break a spring. They didnt take off the packaging or offer to take it with them.”
“XDP are literally the worst company on the planet for deliveries...a week late despite it being "Next Day" and to add to that they broke and lost both boxes I received in the end...use these idiots at your own risk!!”
“Delivery on time but...white van was driven over a section of lawned area leaving large grooves...one small man unable to carry boxed lawnmower weighing 30kg (which is to be expected)..husband had to help as the delivery guy was struggling. Box was open and something's had fallen out. My husband had a slipped disc in his neck at the time, so I definitely was not happy.....”
“Put the parcel over the back gate didn't bother to knock on front door was in all day sore him putting it over gate he says delivery and when I opened the gate he drove off strangest delivery I've ever had”
“No wonder all people do is leave bad feedback if you mark items as delivered when clearly you've not delivered them at all.
And after being assured by a lady in the XDP office that it wouldn't be delivered (over a week early) and on the date I was told it would be delivered to then wait in all day and check the tracking for it to say it was delivered the day I phoned and asked that it wasn't!! Inconvenience caused unnecessarily!!
Shocking service would never recommend you to any one!!”
“crappest delivery service imaginable. they said they deliverd my bed but havent then implied i was lieing about recieving the item and that the item had been signed for and that getting the police involved is the next step. the snotty little witch id like to string her up with her dads testicles. i am proberly not going to recive my delivery. i beg everyone never to use this scamming company. boycott these theiving scammers”
“never again my item was delivered 2 days late, after receiving an email to say it was on its way. When it was delivered it went to a neighbour, no card left to say where it was and no signature was required. Luckily I have an honest neighbour, I could have lost
£100 for not receiving it.”
