“Went into the Happy Valley Best Buy yesterday to meet with the geek squad. I met with Matthew Gyles. Very knowledgeable guy. I didcussed the issues with my laptop and decided it was better to just buy a new one. So i went ti the computer department and decided which computer would work. I dicussed that i would be back to purchase the computer and drop it with him as we discussed the programs i would need and he could do this in a day.
This morning at 10 am i go back to the store and they did bot have any computers on the shelf.
I was sent to the thunderbird location to pick one up. I tried to just drop it at the geek squad desk but they want me to set this thing up call in make an apointment for them to do updates and etc.
Next i tried to call the Happy Valley Location to get it in. Guy tells me 3 DAYS. I need to make an apointment restart the process and that they cannot load the computer to add programs i need.
Best Buy needs to get its stories strait and quit hiding behind rules that keep people not wanting to perform their Job duties.
I do not have the knowledge or time to sit back and do the things to this computer to get it funtional for my needs. That is why i picked a store that said they were capable.
The it guys i see working would be fired for these responces.
So now after Best Buy has burned me. I will be discussing this situation with every body i know. Large design firms office pros, heavy highway, road and home building contactors engineers architects and a few of my politition freinds.
Being born raised educated in the Valley of the Sun since the 70s. It is absolutely amazing how many contacts you can make in a life time.
Frys electronics comes to mind. Well not any more.

“The sale's woman was saying she does not work in this area. She was too slow to do the transaction on my cell phone. She was not friendly and was reluctant to test the phone. She was just repeating that store charges $45 on a $119 phone if it is opened. Then, she just went to help another customer. Service is non existant, the woman was forcing a smile, and just aweful!”
“went to Best Buy in Surprise Az. today to pick up a brand new in the box never opened 55 inch TCL QLED . Would you believe when I got home and took it out of the box it had no power cord or remote, so I returned the tv back to the store where I was accused of stealing the power cord and the remote .I was told by a snotty little girl who claimed to be the manager that I would have to pay for the missing parts $65.00 and that I would need to contact TCL TO GET MY MONEY BACK... “Terrible customer service. I ordered an electric range from the store. Scheduled a delivery. The delivery was never delivered, nor did I receive call. I rescheduled a second delivery. I received an automated call that I needed to call to reschedule. Now the range is out of stock. I was put on hold for 45 minutes to speak to a manager, and a manager never answered. I will not do business with BestBuy again. Now I have to wait over 10 days to get a refund by check.”

I ordered a refrigerator and a washer/dryer combo for my new home, and I specifically noted that the refrigerator needs to go to the 2nd floor and washer/dryer needs to go up to the 3rd floor and stacked.
Best Buy sent 2 people on May 8 to deliver the appliances but they won't go upstairs, saying they need a 4-men team. Best Buy should have known better, but fine. I rescheduled the installation appointment for May 12th, and the agent said they will send a 4-men team and my appointment will be the first on that day so I can expect installation from 7AM to 9AM.
On May 12th, nobody came before 9AM. At 9:20 a two-person dispatch team called me and asked what exactly do I need them to do. Apparently the agent rescheduling the service on May 8 did not put in a request for 4-men team properly. So now I have to reschedule the service to May 14th. The delivery service department said they won't be able to confirm whether a 4-person team will be guaranteed until previous day at 5PM.
I will find a local appliance installation company instead if Best Buy can't do their job on May 14th. Will never buy anything from Best Buy again.”
“The worst after-sales service ever. I have a broken down refrigerator for 6 months, and they tried to fix it twice and couldn't or could not communicate with the people concerned, a loss of time and money, the worst ever”
“We have a 2 year old washer we purchased at Best Buy, the water drain pump went out on it, on March 19, 2021 Servise man came in on on March 29th ordered the part, 2 days later was determined part on back order or not available, on on April 29th was sent for resolution as no part available, today May 8 th , still no resolution, no washer! “Don’t buy a insignia deep freezer from Best Buy. We bought one 2 years ago because our deep freezer died and we’ve never had trouble with their repair process. Will last week I called to schedule a repair because it wasn’t keeping the correct temperature. I was told that I would have to bring my 17 cubic foot freezer into the store to be repaired. They didn’t care that it’s full of food or the fact that I have no way of getting it there. So I lowered the temperature to -11 which is keeping my food frozen and I called local repair places no one repairs this brand. My husband and I decided to just go to a appliance store that we bought our refrigerator at and bought a new one that they will fix at our house if necessary. Don’t buy appliances at Best Buy!”
“In mid September of 2021, our family purchased 2 premium Sony TV’s from Best Buy. Sadly within a few weeks one of the TV’s developed problems that still has not been resolved as of this date.
I was told by the sales manager with a Geek Squad policy you are protected, I soon learned the 1 st year must be covered by Sony.
Calls to the Geek Squad number and customer service directed me to Sony who never stepped up to the plate, resulting in countless calls and emails requesting a Best Buy manager to intervene.
No manager was ever available when I contacted customer service, but on each occasion a call back with 24 hours was promised.
That never happened and no calls have ever been received to this date 5 months later.
Once the money is paid, good luck., that’s all they care about …. on to the next paying customer to meet their sales quota”

First off, my experience is so rotten, I do not want to leave one star, although they make you have to, to get through to make your complaint. Now, I had my computer in for repairs 2 years ago, and because they out and out lied to me, saying the computer had to go to Vancouver twice, and saying they had to put in a new hard drive, which is what I paid for,
and they did not, and have proof, then they burned one of my keys on the keyboard . They had me running back and forth like a chicken with my head cut off, and finally they offered me a 100.00 Gift Certificate, I accepted, when received, there was no expiry date on it, and was told to use it at anytime and any Best Buy, they will all honor it. Two weeks ago, I printed out the gift card and took it in to buy a phone, and they would not honor it. Was told I had already used it, I told them that I did not use it and I had just printed in out the night before. Was told they would do inquiry and find out what happened, and it could take a week they said. Have not heard a peep from them. So, they best honor it, and find out what went wrong. Did their employee that sent it to me, quit/get fired and spent it, Who stole it. Best Buy, I will not back down, you can't operate under lies to the public.”
“Wow, where do I begin? What an awful experience I have had with Best Buy. No wonder my local store went out of business and they are hurting. I purchased an LG refrigerator from them that was delivered on 3/28. The delivery guys dented the fridge, so BB agreed to give me a 10% discount that would process in 10-15 business days. Well, it is May 4, and I have no credit yet. They state they processed the credit on April 2, but when I called in mid April because I hadn't received it, I was then told I had an open item on my ticket so the refund from the 2nd was never processed and it would be reissued. Here I am in the beginning of May still with no refund, and BB says they issued a refund on the 2nd, that my Cap One must be holding it, they have done their part and I will not get any further credits. Cap One says they never hold credits, and now I have to dispute the charges in order to get a simple refund. Awful customer service and accounting of their mistakes! I wish I could give 0 stars!”
“I would give zero stars if possible. Will be leaving a review anywhere I can. Purchased over $5,000 of appliance for them to change install dates multiple times after taking off of work and losing money. Offered a compensation of 20 bucks Best Buy gift card. What a joke! “Jest time customer. Purchased a portable projector screen. It did not serve our needs. We decided to return it and look at purchasing a flat screen oled tv. When I returned the product I was charged a $15.00 restocking fee. I will NEVER step foot in a Best Buy store again.
Walmart got my $2187.52 not these crooks.”
