“DO NOT BUY A WARRANTY. They will tell you it's a replacement warranty, but it is not. They take your product away for weeks and no loaner. So disappointed they lied just to sell me a warranty. “As many have already stated, Best Buy will "sell" the price match, but not honor it. I went to Best Buy to window shop laptops before the Black Friday sales and found one I liked. Asked the associate what the price would be during the sale and she told me. Then proceeded to convince me to buy the laptop now and come back for the price match in a week - which I did. When I arrived, they told me no price matching and to come back in a few days. I did, and the laptop was no longer on sale, again meaning no price match. “If I could give a 0 I would have. I returned an item on 9th of November. Been calling the customer service number for the status on my returned. Called multiple times and every agent provided me with different information( that none of the info and time standards are not the same of the web page, email, receipt and the information provided by the cashier in the store). I have been lied and call disconnected by customer service agent. Last info provided was today saying that best buy couldn't process my return and a check was made almost a month late and can take 10 more business day. And we are in holidays. When I called I requested call back from supervisor (who never called) without counting that was told that can take about 5 hrs or more to call back. Today i was told that supervisor can call for complaints only for resolution. This company is not cheap to buy and the reason why I purchased here is because I couldn't wait for the other store to have the item on stuck. The next time I need something and is not available I will wait. NEVER AGAIN.”
“Bought a dishwasher and microwave from Best Buy. Both were defective (actually they replaced the first defective Samsung microwave with a second defective microwave). I cancelled both appliances. I received refunds for the appliances after several inquiries, but am still trying to arrange refunds for the install and warranty costs (approx $500). Customer service is AWFUL! I’ve spent hours on the phone - talked to at least 8 services reps, with 3 different case numbers. A few promised to call me back, but never did. Others just disconnect or send you to a different department. Service reps aren’t authorized to do refunds, and it’s impossible to talk to a supervisor who is authorized. I will never buy anything from Best Buy ever again.”

“If I ran my business like Best Buy, I would be applying for unemployment.
Customer Service is basically non-existent. After 40 minutes on hold they either have an attitude or just hang up on you. Can you imagine treating customers like this...? The Union, New Jersey store is the worst. They have virtually no interest in helping the customer or even being apologetic. They don't even want to look up your order.
Forget the in-store pick-up option. They advertise 45 minutes, but I have sometimes waited more than 24 hours to pick up my order (i.e., the next day). They must either have poor or no management skills, and workers with minimal training.
My daughter's Girl Scout Troop is more organized than Best Buy!
Save yourself a lot of frustration, and shop somewhere else.”

“Bought a T.V. package on line. Set up appointment for home delivery for a week later due to it being a new home in another State and not living there for a week. Get confirmation of order and they have 3 accessories (more than $700) being delivered by UPS in two days. I called Best Buy right away. Even though they did not even have a tracking order yet they could not change the order to be delivered later or to pick up in store. The 3 shipments with electrical equipment and speakers will now be left outside on roadway (its a rural area) for 5 days till I arrive in the State.”
“Best Buy contracted a local shipping company, Lone Star Overnight to deliver my PS5. The PS5 has been "lost" in their warehouse since Saturday. Best Buy support has refused to help me every step of the way. I have been chasing the shipping company to try and "find" my console in their warehouse. The kicker, they never even attempted to make a delivery!
Between the 30+ phone calls, chats, and tweets to both companies, I finally was able to speak with a customer support manager at Best Buy. They refused to work with me to send me a new console or supply me with a store to pick up from. They stated all they can do is begin a refund process to investigate the shipping company. And I can once again be thrown into the cycle of attempting to find a console due to their failures.
Best Buy has held my money for over three months now, has not refunded anything, and has not given me anything to compensate for the countless hours I've spent trying to chase their contracted shipping company that clearly stole my product.
I would be extremely cautious ordering this product from Best Buy, if there is any issue with the delivery they will not help you. They will do literally nothing in the way of support or fulfillment of your purchase.
From what I understand from my friends that preorder the console after me and have received from other companies, it's great. I would just strongly advise against using Best Buy even if it is the only place that has preorders available.”
“Purchased a dryer from Pacific Sales - great experience - delivery scheduled and dryer delivered and installed 11/2/2020 without issue. Delivery persons failed to look at the delivery order and therefore did not reverse dryer door hinge - which I paid $49.99 at time of purchase. (I wasn't present but working at time of delivery so unable to confirm this was done). I called within 10 minutes of delivery persons leaving my home, only to be told I need to call in 48 hours as I am still in the system so they cannot schedule another appt. I call back, am told someone will call me. 4 days later I receive a text (Sunday evening 11/15/2020 at 7pm) saying they will be at my home Mon am between 7a-1p and if needing to reschedule to call between 9a-8p Central time M-F. Seeing that I will be at work during that time, I called first thing in the morning and spoke with someone who said they were in Guatemala City and they couldn't understand me well, they spoke with a fairly thick accent and broken English. I was told my appt was cancelled, which took almost 15 min to just do this, and at this point I need to leave for work (will lose cell service in my garage), so I ask if he can call me back - he tells me yes and confirms my number. Never heard back. About an hour later I receive a call saying they are at my door (entirely different person from So. Calif - she said they had nothing to do with rescheduling/cancelling and couldn't help me). I now called back and rescheduled for Tues 11/24 between 12p-8p (also spoke with someone with a thick accent, but she seemed to understand me).....we'll see what happens. Terrible communication with a disconnect and one end has no idea what the other is doing (sounds like 2 different countries!).”

“Bought a refrigerator on line on 11/5/2020 and scheduled home delivery for 11/17. Best Buy charged my credit card on 11/6 and I received several email and text confirmations of the delivery on 11/17. At 6:55AM on the morning of 11/17 I received a text saying I needed to reschedule the delivery. Then at 8:42AM I received another text and email confirmation of the delivery on 11/17. At 10:05AM I received a text and email stating the refrigerator was on the truck and out for delivery. They even gave the driver's name and an estimated time of arrival. The truck never showed up. I called the Best Buy customer service number and the automated system hung up on me the first time. The second time I got hold of a real live person and she told me the refrigerator was on back order until 1/24/2021! She then transferred me to sales who said he couldn't help me and transferred me to someone else who said she couldn't help me and transferred me to someone else who finally confirmed that the refrigerator wasn't expected to be in stock until 1/24/2021. He could not answer my questions, such as: Why did they charge my credit card for something that was on back order? Why did they let me schedule delivery for 11/17/2020 for something that wouldn't be available until 1/24/2021? Why did they repeatedly confirm an appointment to deliver something that wouldn't be available until 2 months later? Why did they say the item was on its way and give me an estimated arrival time when it wasn't true? But he could tell me that the charge wouldn't be reversed on my credit card until the next billing cycle. Have bought several appliances here before, never again.”
