The Cannock site was much better when it was Available Cars. Went to the site to browse for a replacement car. No more simply walk around and have a good look round. No, you havevto register on arrival, then see a sales person who brings the car to you and " I give you a few seconds to look around ". Car had a horrible smell inside too. Second car walked us to it Again the few seconds rule. David thanks and we would leave it for now.No let me just get my manager to speak to you. At that point I just walked out, never to return.

Hi I had recently went to Big Motoring World ( Cannock). I was happily taken care of by the salesman and was shown the cars and deals and was able to test drive the car. When it came to the price of the car I asked the salesman if we were able to negotiate the price of the car and he said he will ask the manager and get back to us. Shortly afterwards the lady manager came and talked to us. She was extremely rude to me and my family. We mentioned to her that the the same car for a cheaper price was in a different site ( still a big motoring world site) and told us that she will make sure the ‘car we want is sold in order for us to not get the car’. She also ripped up the paper which had all the details of the car on , right in front of us and walked of in a rude manner.

I bought discovery 2.0 car from Big Motoring Kent 10 months ago. That time I was buy warranty for 3 year from Big Motoring. Last week my car has break down. Then I call to warranty 2000 company they said go to any dealer. Then I drop to Land Rover dealer.then check and give me quote for repair.after I try to call to warranty 2000 but they put on hold 5 hours then they drop my call. I already try to call to big motoring they saying I need to call company warranty 2000. Now I am upset from them . This my very poor experience with big motoring.

New car broke down after 6 miles, car didn't even make it home. After 7 hours the car is sitting on a side street still awaiting to be picked up. Not great customer service for a new customer.

they are scammers. I bought a car insurance policy. If the car broke down, it was supposed to be repaired for free, but the car broke down. the app didn't work so I called them. The lady who talked to me accepted my application and told me to find a service center that would calculate the cost of repairing the car. I informed them that the car could not be driven, not only did I have to look for a service center, but I also had to repair the car in a garage, for which I had to pay myself, not to mention that I had to wait 2 weeks for an answer. How was I supposed to drive a car during this time? I have 2 children and I need a car now, not in 2 weeks, the repair cost over £500, scammers and tricksters

My wife and I recently bought a car BMW X1 from Big Motoring World. Firstly at the moment there is nothing wrong with the car itself, however! When we went to collect the car, things were not so good. The car was showing no fuel at all 0 miles range, when we questioned this we were told they had put £5 of fuel in it so there would be enough to get us to the petrol station, we had just handed over £20,000 and they couldn't even put enough fuel in the car to register on the fuel gauge!!! They claim to claybar and polish every car, this is rubbish the car had been washed and that was it, the wheels, wheel arches, behind the door handles were filthy and it had never been polished. The validity of the 200 point inspection is questionable, the tire pressures were all wrong. They should have been 2.2 bar all round, the fronts were 2.4 and 3.0 and the rear 2.4 and 2.9 so they had never been checked. The washer bottle was empty, so what else had not been checked? The mind boggles. Also be aware of what extras they claim the car has, gesture tail gate, didn't have it, adaptive lights, didn't have them, in the small print they advise checking before you take the car, why say they have these extras if they don't? I have called to give them feedback as they ask for it, but have not heard anything from them. To sum up, I felt this car had arrived from the auctions had a quick wash and went up for sale, nothing else had been done. Do yourself a favour and go to dealer who gives good old fashioned service, a properly prepared car and not high pressure sales and milk shakes. Photos are available.

I went through finance and got accepted. With big Motoring World cannock I reserved a car I did a 5 hour journey to cannock from Surrey by train, eventually got to cannock at 2pm they seated me and gave beverages, I waited 2 hours before seeing a adviser he than got the car and we had a test drive, then back at the dealership I waited why they were trying to add warranty and this cleaning solution for £200+ which I couldn't afford anyway. He said I could take car on the day but after 5pm im still there and advised I couldn't take car has finance not come through and they closed could I come back tomorrow. Like I live around the corner yeah right. So I said just cancel it. Another 5 hours back home they couldn't even be considerate to offer me a lift to the railway station had to get a taxi. £100 I spent that day. I've reported them to the finance company they going to make a complaint didn't get home till 00.45 due to a person on the railway incident. What a day.

The after sale are the worst I have experienced. I have had better after sales experience with a back street garage. Trying to contact them on the phone taking on average an hour on hold every time. The warranty I was sold was not worth the paper it's written on. I had to do all the chasing to find out what was happening with my claim..

Absolutely unacceptable! I purchased a car on the 18th, everything seemed fine at first until I was about drive off the forecourt with my new purchase to be told that the car had faults and missing pieces that were only just picked up by the valeting team, who actually didn’t even run the hoover over the carpets let alone clean the car. The day after I purchased I started to smell damp and stale cigarettes. After a deep inspection of the car fag ash and tar was inside all of the vents. I decided after a week of trying to contact bmw that I was going to reject the car. Before taking it back 9 days after purchase we decided to pull all the seats down to inspect them, thick mould was found growing on the sides of the back seats! My child had been sitting in the seats for more than a week! To say I was fuming is an understatement. Thankfully after a very long email and a few visits to the dealership and after sales site the company accepted my rejection and gave back my part exchange deposit. I would NOT recommend buying from this company but if you do be very thorough when inspecting the vehicle.

I SERIOUSLY WOULD NOT RECCOMEND BUYING A VEHICLE FROM THIS LOT, ESPECIALLY THE EXTENDED WARRANTY........!!!!!! Unfortunatly I find myself in the same situation as 99.9% of the reviewers on here. I purchased a vehicle on 13th January 2024 from the Enfield Branch. The week prior to this (6th January 2024) I went to take it for a test drive and the sales team had great difficulty starting the vehicle, as the battery was DEAD. I was told that the battery would be replaced, before I collected the vehicle on the 13th January 2024. When I collected the vehicle, the battery, quite obviously, hadn't been replaced. All of this is well documented in countless emails I've sent, along with the list of the other issues, of which, I reported to big motoring world on 18th January 2024. My car was eventually booked into the Peterborough service centre on 18th March 2024, for the repairs. All that they did was replace the AUXILIARY battery, NOT the MAIN battery and adjust the undertray. The main battery is the original battery from 2015. The issues below have been ongoing since 13th January 2024 and were reported to big motoring world on 18th January 2024, and are still outstanding. 1. Low battery warning system shutdown, displayed on starting the vehicle. The battery should have been replaced before I collected the vehicle on 13th January 2024. It's clear that it still has the original battery installed. 2. Eco stop start doesn't work. When the light on the dashboard says it's activated, it doesn't work. 3. The driver's side air vent doesn't rotate. 4. The smaller of the rear seats doesn't fold down using the lever in the boot. It's very difficult to fold down, even when not trying to use the lever in the boot. On the 16th April 2024 the car wouldn't start and it was agreed by big motoring world, and was eventually recovered to a garage of my choice on the 2nd May 2024, where the vehicle had a diagnostic report done and was promptly sent to big motoring world. It is now the 27th May 2024 the vehicle is still at the garage awating repair authorisation. It's been 4-5 weeks since I reported that my car wouldn't start on the 16th April, and I've been without the use of my car since the 16th April 2024. Myself, along with my garage, have sent several emails to Charleigh Kelly, who has been dealing with my case and I'm still waiting for a response to any of my emails from Charleigh, and as to whether my garage can carry out the necessary repairs to my car, which have been ongoing since 18th January 2024, when I reported them to big motoring world.

Hi bought a fiesta from Big motoring world it had 26,000 miles on the clock when I purchased it I’ve done 20,000 miles myself in the car and the gearbox has gone had the AA put the camera down inside the engine to test it for ware and the AA report shows the way inside the engine of a vehicle that is travelled well over 100,000 miles so this proves that before it had its first MOT the mileage was wound back on the vehicle. I’m in the process of taking Big motor in world to court lovely people Wardell, I hope you’re proud of yourself

Avoid these scammers, the worst in this business in UK.I was hoping that there is some law in this country against companies like big motoring world. They are selling broken cars and even after purchasing a warranty they don’t care at all, they are actually stealing money from you for that warranty because I have not seen even one review that that warranty covered something to someone .My bill for repairs after one day owning the car was over £6000 and it’s been more than two months fighting with them and still refusing to repair or reject the car.

They don't do 200 points check, they don't even advertise the right features of the car until you point out to them. Car was dirty, the other car I tried was making rattling noise, visible oil leakage was witnessed and yet they still get away with selling their cars beyond the market value price when you compare on auto trader.. it's my opinion and suggestion that if you do visit this company for purchase of any used/nearly new car then please be careful before making any final decision.

BIG MOTORING WORLD SCAMMERS I recently had the displeasure of visiting Big Motoring World, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. From start to finish, it felt like a comedy of errors and a lesson in how not to run a dealership. First and foremost, the customer service was abysmal, the staff from the Peterborough Werrington branch will try to be more of a mate on a night out, then being professional at their jobs. The staff seemed more interested in chatting among themselves than assisting customers. To make matters worse, the car I purchased was faulty. It was as if they were hoping I wouldn't notice the internal issues, but it became apparent the moment I started driving away the engine light was coming on, and the coolant was leaking. Instead of owning up to their mistake, I had to really fight and constantly chase them for my money back, leaving me with no car and no money for over a week. With being self-employed, this was particularly distressing as I had a family and kids to look after, with no income. Take a tip from me if it’s only been 30 days from purchase and they ask to repair the vehicle, say NO the warranty repairs are a joke and they want you to say yes as the car then goes over the 30 days of initial purchase, past this, then you are no longer eligible for a refund and still left with a faulty vehicle with no hope due to your consumer rights now invalid. And believe me, the situation is incredibly inconvenient and stressful as it is, but the staff who work there simply don’t care if you are on the streets because of it, so RUN while you can its important to mention I was lucky enough to have the faults in the first month as many can experience this in month 2 or 3. Furthermore, the pricing was exorbitant considering the lacklustre condition of the cars. It felt like they were trying to pass off lemons as luxury vehicles, hoping to turn a quick profit without any regard for customer satisfaction. To top it all off, after taking the faulty vehicle I had to my local garage, which has been trusted by my family for years and years, he explained the car needs a new head gasket and new engine!  With other faulty issues, the list goes on… He wasn’t wrong. Infact, as a day later, the car broke down while driving back to my home, only 3 days after purchasing the vehicle this is SICKENING from the big motoring world after spending £21,000 !!! They do not do the “200 point check” on the cars, and they will make you feel like the car is ready to go. Just be wary when you get 2hrs into your journey with your new pride and joy. Something will go wrong. I have spoken to many people since my experience in which everyone has had the same problems when buying from the big motoring world. When I eventually got my car taken back to the local big motoring world branch which they were reluctant to do, I rang customer services to ask if the car was received at the local branch, to which they replied “Oh yes, the Mercedes, would you like to buy that car from us?” The staff honestly, don’t have a clue from left to right with no experienced in customer service. In conclusion, my visit to Big Motoring World was a complete waste of time. I would strongly advise anyone considering purchasing a vehicle from them to think twice and explore other options. If you respect your mental health, steer clear of this establishment. I will be expecting compensation for the experience I have encountered and if this review is not taken seriously this will be posted everywhere.

Buyer beware Buyer beware You are buying a ex fleet or hire vehicle..Many faults are not disclosed..I fell in to the trap of a vehicle that has cost myself £1000 so far on tyres Service and a main dealer diagnostic..Run out of money to replace brake discs & pads which will cost another £500-£700..These cars that big motoring world are a joke maybe nice and shiny however after you sign you are basically on your own..when you collect your vehicle you are then informed of the status of the previous owner and you are put though the stress of changing the road tax from disabled band. So please avoid this bogus company and and go somewhere else.. My experience has cost me dearly and I hope you don't fall into the same financial trap.

I visited their Leeds showroom yesterday afternoon (8/5/2024) to see a BMW 4 Grand Coupe. I was ready to buy this car yesterday, but the way one of Big Motoring World's salesmen treated me was unacceptable. I showed him a car that I was interested in, and he opened a car and disappeared. I had been waiting for him to come back to discuss the purchase for half an hour; other staff was dealing with different customers and told me to stay with the guy he served us first. After waiting around 45 minutes, I walked away and will never return to any Big Motoring World centres!!!
