“One poster was printed misaligned and the package arrived damaged. It took two weeks and they offered to reprint (no customer service to call). A week later they requested I send the damaged prints back even though I provided ample pictures for return. They know that I would spend almost as much to send back as for the original prints - they win - you lose...”
“Emailed as to why I was charged 3 different taxes. I understood 2 of them they asked for a screenshot, which i sent. Never heard back. I have ordered from them in the past without a problem..but never again
.”
“When I ordered it made it look like the canvas was being printed in USA but it ended up being in India and it took them a LONG time to print and send. The bigger problem is that the shipping took a very long time.
To make matters worse, the package arrived, nicely packed and wrapped, impressed! no damages or issues from transport on the packaging but when we opened the package, it had a major damage to the board behind the canvas which has caused the canvas to be also pushed through and stretched.
I emailed them, they asked for photos, i immediately sent photos and they have ghosted me since then and i've sent 3 emails requesting advise on what to do and no responses.
Avoid!”
“When you order a product, you are supposedly to get an item shipped from US but unfortunately, they ship it from India and it takes a month to get it. I ordered on November first and it is now 15, and the item just shipped from India, they are universary gifts and worth of few hundred dollars, now no refund and no luck when I will get the convases.”
“I ordered a canvas and paid for expedited shipping. Was set to arrive three days ago and the only answer I get when I call, is that it's on the way. They won't refund me for the expedited shipping until my order arrives, then I'll have to call back for a refund. Waste of time--dealing with incompetence. If I pay extra and you don't deliver as promised, I shouldn't have to reach out for a refund and make a second call to you when I've reached out and told you already. It should be automatic. My order was placed on the 31st of October and it's now 11-11-24 and I still don't have the order. Not quick as promised either. Won't be ordering again. My order is still not in the US even...it's in India. Which I found amusing, because when I ordered I checked to see if it was a US company and it is.”
“This is a horrid company. We paid at the time of order, and delivery was delayed, no response, delayed again. The customer service was horrendous, with delivery being nearly 60 days later than the stated delivery date. Customer service offered no action until threat of chargeback, at which time the order miraculously shipped. The end product is half-assed at best. I can print higher resolution photos with a $20 printer. I suggest to avoid Canvas Champ at all costs. Low quality product, abyssmal customer service, and a whole lot of headache.”
“Paid extra to expedite. Was several days later then promised and needed. I refused delivery and they have still charged me. Disputing with CC company. Terrible customer service.”
“These guys are horrible. I obviously paid at time of order. My order has supposedly been sitting in Memphis Tennessee for 24 days. I tried to work with customer service, received no action. Tried to get a refund from PayPal resolution and Canvas champ offered a $9.99 credit, my order cost $25.52. I could see that if it was simply late. I Didnt receive the order, why in the hell would I take a credit for not even half the cost as a settlement. Avoid at all costs, pay a tiny bit more for local service.”
“I recently ordered a custom canvas print, and while I’m very pleased with the quality of the product and found the website to be easy to navigate, I was disappointed with a significant aspect of my purchase. The print I received was slightly smaller than expected—3/8” too small, to be exact on 16" print—though the website description states they offer “Standard Canvas Print Sizes.” It turns out that buried deep in their FAQ, the company notes that their canvases can vary by +/- 1", which wasn’t clearly disclosed upfront.''
This small discrepancy in size means I now have to purchase a custom frame, which is much more expensive than the standard one I had planned for. When I contacted customer support about this, I was met with a response that seemed dismissive: “Just so you know, our projects can vary by +/- 1 inch.” After expressing my dissatisfaction, I never heard back from them.
Overall, while the product itself met my expectations, the lack of clear communication about sizing and the dismissive customer service experience left me feeling frustrated. If you order from here, just be aware of the potential size variance and how it might affect your framing costs.”
“The puzzles I ordered look fine, but their customer service is a joke. Try calling? You'll just get hold music and no one ever answers. Try emailing them and you'll get a response from 'Melvin' that offers no actual help. Their on-line 'chat' function is a joke. No one is ever there to chat. THEN, the items arrive a week later than promised, and though I spent over $500 on 8 puzzles, they arrived in plastic bags, instead of boxes with the photo of the puzzle on the outside, like a normal company would do. These were gifts and arrived in baggies. I do not recommend.”
“Delay a lot in delivery. Bad customer support who don't like to talk to customers. Bad production team who never responds. Bad management who take customer's for granted. Don't this they know how to deal with customers and be courteous”
“They sent it to the wrong address. I used the online chat they said they would change the address with FedEx but they didn't. Been trying to get a hold of them but I am not getting any response. So my package is sitting in Maryland and I am in Utah. I am not happy.”
“I ordered 21 prints of various sizes. These were family photos taken by a professional photographer. I had a wall on which I planned to do a collage of the photos.
The good:
- Photos were excellent quality, cropped and canvas wrapped exactly as ordered.
- Packaging was excellent. Recieved the photos in perfect condition.
- Time from placing order and receiving was about two weeks.
The bad:
- All of the canvases were not the sizes I ordered. For example 8x8s varied from 7 1/2 x 7 1/2 to 7 3/4 x 7 3/4. They were also NOT SQUARE. This rendered my collage plans impossible as the photos would not look aligned with eachother, side by side or top to bottom.
I tried calling customer service and, after waiting 15 minutes on hold, a recording asked me to leave my number and they would return my call. No call back recieved so two days later, did the same. Still no call back. I called my credit card company who took my information and filed a dispute. They provided me with an immediate credit for the total amount, stating the charge may be reinstated if CC provided substantiating information. Canvas Champ never responded to the dispute.
I still have all of the photos but have to come up with another collage plan and I don't have many walls for options. In their fine print, which I only found after the fact, it states the measurements may vary +/- 1 inch. That's ridiculous! You can order a 5x7 and get either 4x6 or 6x8?? I do NOT recommend Canvas Champ.”
“I’ve never had such an infuriating experience with a company in my life. I placed multiple orders with CanvasChamp on September 12th, and they have been stuck in "Payment Review" ever since. After providing proof of payment, not once but TWICE, they still claim they haven’t received the payment. How is it possible to place an order if the payment wasn’t processed? Absolute nonsense.
Their communication is a complete joke. Instead of resolving the issue, I get the same generic, copy-paste responses asking for payment proof again. Do I need to hold their hand through their own processes? It feels like they’re making ME do the work to track down their own internal incompetence.
The level of incompetence is astonishing. Save yourself the headache and avoid CanvasChamp at all costs—they don’t value their customers and certainly don’t know how to run a business properly. Expect delays, excuses, and poor service if you choose to deal with them.”
“I wrote a review last week that I was told would be rectified but so far the company has not followed up, nor is their Canadian number operating. I ordered 12 beer mugs, all defective, and even though their customer service rep assured me (in response to the review) that they would re-ship the order, I've yet to hear back. Another product (a magic mug) was also defective and I've yet to hear back about that. When their products are good, they are very good, but the lack of communication of follow through will make it impossible to hire them as a supplier for my business, which is indeed a pity. Their shipping costs are terrific but they lack quality control and the capacity (or willingness) to respond when products are defective. I'm still waiting for official confirmation that the problem is solved and a new shipment is on the way, but given the lack of response, I don't believe it is going to happen.”
“There service is HORRIBLE. No one answers their US phones and their live chats are useless. They don't respond or they close so fast without ever answering my questions. I uploaded my photos and then couldn't finish the transaction.
Just TERRIBLE.”
“First order about a year ago of smaller canvas prints on wood frame were great! Decided t use them again for 6 larger prints 12x24. The prints came back with wrinkly edges almost all around where the wood was underneath. Emailed them photos of the defect about 2 weeks ago still no response. No quality control and bad customer service.”
“I ordered a woven blanket on July 16th. The site estimated it would be delivered on July 25th which is in line with their standard 7 to 10 business day shipping.
I got an email from FedEx telling me there was a clearance delay because the shipper of my printed blanket didn't submit correct paperwork and they wouldn't release it from customs. I emailed customer support at canvas champ and mentioned the clearance delay and how they needed updated information. Their response was telling me that there was a clearance delay and this was FedEx's fault that cleared after a few days.
I called FedEx and they again told me there was improper paperwork done with the custom forms & they had been trying to get a hold of the shipper but hadn't heard anything. So I emailed canvas champ again. I've actually emailed canvas champ eight or nine times and each time they Echo back what I say pretend to apologize and lie and say they're doing everything they can to fix it.
My niece's birthday was on July 31st. She just turned 16. It is now August 13th. Canvas champ still has no idea what's going on but assures me they're in constant contact with FedEx and the problem will be resolved.
I don't know how many of their products are printed overseas and shipped but I'm never going to trust them with anything ever again. I doubt they live up to well anything they say on their website now because when you get a hold of customer service they will literally not help you, tell you they're working on it when they're not and then tell you they'll contact you again and they won't. I wish I could give less than one star.
Horrific experience. Abysmal customer service”
“Horrible customer service no product was ever made nothing was ever shipped and who ever runs their Instagram is so dumb they keep writing fake reviews with the official Canvas Champ account. As promised I will be writing one star reviews everyday until I get my refund.”
