Extremely poor service - store staff provided wrong information regarding measurements, fitting and cost then lost the remainder of my carpet. Store manager took no responsibility in the incompetence of him and his staff and when I mentioned this he said out loud in the store ‘go in blame the only BLACK man in the buikding’ - disgusting!!!!! HQ and CEO appointed member of staff to investigate - poor action. They contradicted information and costs which their so called professional and expert staff had previously quoted! VERY POOR EXPERIENCE and they don’t care! This has gone on for 9 months and I am appalled! WILTSHIRE

Carpetright made us very happy by the swift action that was taken by them to get our bed delivered,the delivery chaps were very good as well as friendly. This was our very first time to buy anything from Carpetright, we had a look around all the other bed shops but very quickly came back to Carpetright as the bed that took our eye was the right bed as soon as we saw it,it looked nice and the price was also very good, so therefore I must say they are the best to get your bed from because I would not hesitate to shop there again!

We went into the Dorchester store, picked the stair carpet we wanted and then went home to measure up. I drew a plan of the area with accurate measurements. Carpetright said that they needed to send someone out to measure up, we requested that they bring the sample with them so that we could be sure it was the right colour. The person sent found that my measurements were correct, it was a shame he did not bring the sample with him! We thought that the carpet was in stock but it wasn't. Once we were told when it would arrive, we made not to book anything for that day. We were told that the carpet layers would call us as soon as they picked up their carpets for the day and had planned out their day. They did not call us and despite calling the office twice we could not get an indication as to when they would arrive. Eventually at 3.30pm the carpet layer said that they were on their way. Clearly this was going to be the last job of the day, they were not in the best of moods. They decoded to use the kitchen as their cutting room, not clearing up as they went. Once they got the carpet down, they were out the door - no checking whether we were happy with the job and absolutely no clearing up behind them. Although the carpet is good, we paid top price for the underlay and now have half our stairs squeaking loudly. Carpetright have told us they won't come back to make good.

Order carpet for stairs end of November when looking in store did not tell us that carpet was low in stock someone came out to measure it phoned up to order carpet said out of stock so want get it till Christmas so we paid got fitting date 18 January 2019 it got cancelled than 21january 2019 was not fair between 8.30_9.00 the phoned up 9.15 on day said there was trouble with carpet so as today still no carpet on stairs 24.1.2019 so all this company is interested in is getting your money and more interested in commission than customer service we will not be buying from this company as don't care about what it's cost you to stay home waiting for them as they do not give compensation as says in small print

I recently bought a bed from this terrible company. I went into the showroom tried out a few different beds and chose one that seemed just right. After waiting nearly 4 weeks for delivery the bed was set up the first night I tried to sleep with n the bed the mattress is so hard I may as well sleep on the floorboards I went into the shop to complain where I was told I have to have it at least 30 nights before I can change it . After 30 nights I have complained again to be told that I had to have bought a mattress protector from them at the time of purchase so they won’t change it . I paid nearly £600 for this monstrosity that I wouldn’t even ask my dog to sleep on . This mattress is definitely not the one that I tried out in the showroom at the time of purchase as I know I would never have picked one so hard & uncomfortable even with a mattress topper that I have bought . Terrible company I’ve told all my friends & will post on social media sites not to use them

The carpet sample i was shown in store looks nothing like the carpet fitted. According to the consumer act I have a case for compensation because it is not as described. Tell that to Carpetright.Even the assistant manger Ian who sold the carpet felt it was a faulty batch. Despite all this they still refuse to accept there is a problem. I except things can go wrong but the way I have been treated is just not right. I complained supplying pictures to support my case. But they refuse to accept responsibility. I was so upset yesterday I posted the picture of my carpet and the sample to show the difference between them so the public could make up their own minds. Carpetright Facebook only to find this has been taken down and I am now been blocked from re posting pictures. So my advice is if you are thinking of buying a carpet think very carefully before going to Carpetright.

When purchasing Ihaving been told they could not give me s time for fitting I was going to cancel and go somewhere else. I explained I was my mother’s carer and neede to see to her . I was promised first call was told it would be between 9am and 9.30am for fitters to arrive 10.20 still not here. Having spoken to branch was told carpet fitters only just loading van! Apparently Road bad and late getting to them. I now have to wait until they deem to turn up. No one rang to say they would be late so I could make other arrangements for mum. Rang complaint line got short shift from them. Seems that once you have the money you don’t care about customer service!!!! Will not be recommending you to any one else it is no wonder you are having yo close stores

I had a carpet fitted by carpet right just over 2 years ago. This was recommended for stairs. After a few months there was significant wear on 2 of the risers.When I contacted them I was told that this was heel/toe wear and it is the way I walk down the stairs. This carpet is guaranteed for 10 years. I have never had this problem before . I only wanted this part of the stair carpet replaced but they refused to do it under the guarantee. I am a pensioner and hardly a heavy user of stairs. Their customer service is abysmal and I will never shop there again

I would never use these again, I was warned off before of how bad they are, floor fitter didn’t turn up on date as he explained was having a domestic!! Absolute bodge job, flooring started to rise within a week of fitting. Contacted store explained situation and was told you can’t move objects across vinyl flooring as it rips!! One question how do you clean under the fridge freezer? Clearly not supposed to clean you’re kitchen area. No adhesive was put on to secure the flooring so air bubbles appeared. Overall terrible

CARPETRIGHT is disorganised & inefficient. SOUTHALL carpet fitters EXCELLENT!! 1. Once paid in full was told I should contact CARPETRIGHT after Christmas to book fitting - not the other way round! 2. Went into shop in person to book fitting & checked they had contact details & was expecting an email confirming date - nothing. 3. Left 2 msgs - no-one returned my call. Rang again & asked for confirmation email - arrived following day. 4. On fitting day logged in to track order- my order number not recognised, so rang tel no on email to ask when fitters would arrive. 5. After an hour (3.30pm) rang shop twice. Turns out an incorrect tel no had been given to fitter, so the early afternoon slot went to someone else because fitter got no response from me - understandable. 6. The 2 fitters from a company in SOUTHALL arrived on Friday at 6.40pm and stayed until the job was finished . They did a brilliant job & were charming people. 6. CARPETRIGHT are disorganised & do not run their fitting side of things properly. Get your act together!!

cowboy carpet fitters had to be called back twice as all carpets lifting at the edges of rooms. They told me they used grippers that are meant to go on stairs. Really stressful experience as unable to move furniture back in the rooms while waiting for problem to be rectified. Rude fitters clearly annoyed with me for making them come back to finish a job they didn't do properly in the first place. The second time the rang me the morning they were due to come and asked me what the problem was, someone else turned up to finish their job properly which quite frankly was a relief. AVOID due to bad fitters

f you really worked hard for your money, i will BEG you to avoid this ripe off company called CARPET RIGHT. Initial good manners, but once they get your money, even the manager will deny you, expect the camera that saw you entering the shop. My experience was an unbearable stress. Phil and his manager in Wolverhampton shop have no clue of what they are doing. PLS AVOID THESE COWBOYS. reporting to the head office is just a waste of your precious time, as the branch will cook up bunch of stories to make the case in theIR favour and the Customer service will ONLY listen to their employee. i have a voice record of the wolverhampton deputy manager bragging that i should do what ever i like, that i will not get my money back, with all these evidence on my phone the customer service refused to accept my request to refund my money. its pathetic that in 21st century and in a country like Britain there are some big name company that still act like they are in jungle island by ripping people off their hard earned money. the small print is just a rip off too, as they have refused to bring to customers attention of that section, what about customers with disabilities etc?, once you step out of their office, you are finish, as the rest will be a nightmare to you. PLS BE WARNED IF YOU ACTUALLY WORKED SO HARD TO MAKE YOUR MONEY, PLS NEVER STEP YOUR BEAUTIFUL FOOT TO CARPET RIGHT, EXCEPT YOU PLUG YOUR MONEY OFF THE TREES OR YOU WIN A LOTTERY THEN GO FOR IT. AS FOR ME I WORK SO HARD WITH DEMENTIA PATIENTS WHOM I VALUE MORE THAN THOSE COWBOYS, SO I NEED TO GET THE VALUE OF MY MONEY. PLS PLS PLS PLS PLS PLS PLS PLS BACK OFF THESE RIPPERS

Ordered carpet from Wolverhampton branch for a brand new house for £1,100, the order processor was by name Phil, whom i guess knows all about flooring etc, as i am first time buyer, i told him that the house was a newly built house in WV10 Akron Drive. quote was given to me and i paid full about, he told me that i have to pay the workmen £300 which i agreed. on reaching the day to fix the carpet, the guys refused as they stated that the flooring wasnt smooth whereby asking me to pay £360 which i never budgeted or pre-informed, i refused as i do not have it, and later asked carpet right to refund me my money since Dec 2018 till this min the assistant manger of the store who refused to give me his/manager had bluntly refused to refund me, whereby asking me to take a credit note otherwise they will not refund my money, as am speaking right now being 09/01/2018 @ 11:28am, they refused to give me my money, whereby am unable to shop elsewhere, they reported to their head office, the Wolverhampton store cooked up stories telling their head office that they initially told me about everything they refused to even listen to me. just be careful of the secret ripeoff stores called Carpet right, as once they get your money, you will never get it back and you don't want to go through the stress i have been through. pls be very very careful. i wished someone advised me of them, then i will would have not made such great mistake of my life. there isnt a way of giving them a ZERO star, as i will be extremely glad even in dream to do that. BE CAREFUL GUYS- YOU WORK HARD FOR YOUR MONEY AND CANT ALLOW SOME RIPE OFF COMPANY LIKE CARPET RIGHT TO TAKE IT OFF YOU.

Ordered carpet for hall, stairs and landing end of Nov. 3 times on different dates the fitter did not turn up. No calls nothing. Finally another date to fit carpet..... fitter turned up but landing was measured wrong so now have a seam, oh and they forgot to order the hallway carpet. Despite numorous calls, emails etc (being told the carpet wasn't ordered, the manager was away or someone would call me back) I still didn't know when my carpet was finally going to be fitted. Oh until last week (over 2 months on). They said a fitter would be with me today. Knew it was too good to be true! I called cs and they said the store will call me when he is on his way! So tomorrow yet another phone call and then I'm suing for the seam and to have the lot redone as I won't get a match now! Avoid . I went to the Andover store!!

Horrific customer service from the Newport Wales store, the manager just cant be bothered with any form of customer service, it was a hasstle for him to explain to us that as we were the only job booked in for the day and that the contracted carpet fitter has a clause in his contract that he can refuse the work as there are no more jobs to fill his day up. It seemed he wanted me to sympathise with him that he has this issue. Wasted a day off work emptying room and no refunds allowed. Definitly some customer service training required for the little parasite that we spoke to.

We bought a rug from Carpetright but on laying it out at home we found it was quite badly "rippled" due to the fact that it had been so tightly rolled up and stored. After a month of trying to "flatten" it out, even buying a "rug hold" to help, we took it back and asked for a refund but this wasn't forthcoming. Apparently you must return rugs within two weeks, unopened, to qualify for a refund. Very disappointed with Carpetright's attitude and (unpublicised) policy.

Worst customer service I have ever received. After receiving two defective carpets and ordering a replacement which was cheaper they have refused to refund the difference of £100. There is no point in even bothering to make a complaint because they are not interested. I am furious and would urge everyone to avoid Carpetright at all costs. There has been a lack of communication throughout the process but the response from the complaints department has been the worst. Please do not waste your money with Carpetright. There should be an option for zero stars!

The worst company ever had a problem with carpets , ordered same colour for bedroom , stairs and corridor . Because ordered in diferente day the colours were not matching . I’ve been complain to the manager ( when he is in ), no lucky all I hear is we will get back to you and nothing . This was back in mah and now we are in December and still no answer. I tired of dealing with this company . 1 star is a bit too much for this company ! Never ever again

APPALLING CUSTOMER SERVICE. Ordered from the East Sheen branch. Never followed up or called us back, told a different lie each time we spoke to someone about our order and delivery. These people seem incapable of telling the truth. After chasing for 2 weeks we were finally given a delivery date and time. The delivery never showed up. Chased again and was given a new delivery date and time, but again it never showed up. Called to chase and was told that they did not even know where our order was but that it was not out for delivery. Absolute joke. Now we are asking for a refund so we can go to a reputable company to purchase our floor and they are refusing because there are no managers available to authorise the refund for 1 week. I'd say it's more likely Ismael is trying to protect his commission. Not surprised this company is in trouble, they need to do the high street a favour and make way for reputable, honest companies who know how to do business and deal with customers.
