Appalling customer service. I have spent in excess of 2 hours on hold and spoken to nobody yet if I press the options to purchase an item I get through wothin 3 minutes, sales however don't deal with returns and when they transfer me, I grow tired before I get an answer. I am still to speak to a person regarding my return that I cannot resolve in store as I paid via PayPa. Avoid curry's like the plague.

I am sitting outside Curry's PC world Winchester shaking with anger after the way I have been treated by the store manager. Clearly advertised in store is a Galaxy tab bundle at £149, when I asked to purchase it I was told the offer was no longer available. I explained that you can not advertise an offer that has finished, he replied we can, if you don't like it get a solicitor. Clearly customer deception tactics. Do Curry's PC world always treat their customers like this......Shame on you.

I wish I had researched this popular retailer before committing to buy an e-voucher. I tried to buy three Echo dots via the web, and my order cancelled. There are limited options for e vouchers, so I tried again to have the items delivered to a store. After accepting the order..it was cancelled again. So I went in store and sought help from their staff. So they put the order in from their computer for a store delivery.... guess what, the order was cancelled yet again. When I asked why, they stated 'fraud'.? So not even their own staff can order anything with an e voucher. Been on hold for over 20 mins and counting, and I see no end to this. The items are now out of stock and no doubt will go back to normal retail price. so I spoke to customer services who put me through voucher team, which doesn't exist, so I was put back to customer services. so there is no answer as to why I cannot use an e voucher and now trying to get my money back. My advice, use a different retailer. And avoid vouchers or gift cards at all costs!!

Bridgend Currys - Avoid using this Currys store. I can only describe the store staff as totally incompetent. Recently made two separate purchases and on both occasions had to return to the store. The first purchase was sold incorrectly and I returned for a refund and the second purchase was a click and collect which was the wrong product when I called the store I was told I was speaking to the customer services manager who actually turned out to be a member of staff from the sales floor. The general attitude and ability of the staff was poor and their actions can only be described as incompetent. I would question the store managers ability to be able to operate his store to provide basic customer service

On the 9th November I was looking at you website (Currys) and decided to make an online order for my Brothers birthday. I ordered a JVC TH-D227B Soundbar based on the reviews on your website. The item was in stock at your Wrexham branch so I asked for it to be held there. I then popped down to the branch to see if the Soundbar was on show so I could at least see or test the item, however it wasn't available. I decided to go ahead with the purchase and gave the Soundbar to Brother about 10 days later. He's now opened box and connected the Soundbar to his TV. Unfortunately the Soundbar isn't quite loud enough for what he is after and he said it also sounds very tinny. So I was wanting to take it back and purchase him another one, which was louder and better quality. So I popped into the same store to return the Soundbar but was told that the item couldn't be returned as it had been opened and used. How is anyone meant to make a purchase when the item can't be tested for quality? I then thought I'd take the matter further and speak to the Knowhow team, to see if they felt this was fair and to see if anything could be done. It took them nearly a week to reply and all they said was "Please see following email on our returns policy". I'm leaving this review to warn others and to just let them know I'll never purchase another item from Currys again.

Despite Currys offering good products, the service at the store is appalling. I shopped at the Currys store in Hemel Hempsted, the Apsley Mills Retail park and needed to buy a hoover. The product knowledge given by the assistants was poor and the service was also poor. In addition, having been told that I would be informed of the product arriving in the store, I had to make multiple calls through the call center to enquire whether the product had arrived in the store and I was charged for these calls ( 0300 number), which weren't short as I was put on hold. Irrespective of it being Black Friday weekend, my experience of this store in Apsley is not great. Given the fact that assistants are always milling around, they should spend the time to acquaint themselves with the products they sell. I am in the habit of giving positive reviews, so it is with regret that I am really not happy with the service and training of the staff at the Currys store in Apsley, Hemel Hempsted. Please train your staff and give a better service overall.

Currys PC world High St Birmingham. I can only describe the service as unbelievably dreadful. Went to collect a laptop reserved online. Asked member of staff where to collect a reserved laptop from. He pointed to the queue and said ‘wait there’ I stood with another 5 people as there was one cashier (Kam) a rather abrupt individual who when asked if there was anyone else to help on the tills aggressively advised “no it’s just me”. Waited my turn got to Kam to be advised “you’re at the wrong till you get laptops upstairs” no offer to call upstairs or apology just straight onto the next victim (customer). I then spoke to the stand in Manager Phil who apologised and proceeded to tell me the stores problems with under staffing... maybe he should tell his regional manager, I really was the wrong person. Went upstairs to collect (I thought) the laptop only to be told I pay upstairs BUT they take it downstairs to the collection desk and I’d have to go back downstairs to actually get the laptop... WHAT?? This bunch of clowns had me go back downstairs to the collection desk to queue again for a laptop a joker had just carried downstairs that I paid for upstairs... hope you’re keeping up! Totally bizarre hill billy service... I will avoid this store totally nuts!!

Why the heck are they putting online the items if they cant deliver it to you ? I called two times stayed on the line for 50 minuts both times to find out my item is getting canceled everyday for who knows what reason . They are promising me that the item was sorted out now and i will get the delivery by tomorrow. I dont believe them anymore , i chose to buy from them my ps4 on black friday to find out they cant make the job and all the black friday deals are gone now !!!! I will never chose them again !!!!

Terrible. Actually diabolical would be a better description. Ordered a PS4 and additional controller, everything went through fine, only for the order to be cancelled the next day. They cited the reason ‘not available for home delivery’, however the item was available, just at an inflated price. Now, I understand that mistakes happen. If the price was wrong, be honest! Don’t lie! Then once I heard back from customer services, I was fobbed off with a generic response. No customer care at all! And to top it off, customer services didn’t even bother to reach out until after all the sales had ended, a full 2 days after their ‘contact you within 5 days promise’ (order was put in Thur 28th and only just heard back today on Thursday 5th.) So, the price it should of been, was actually not even competitive at all, so I have no reservations by never shopping at Curry’s again as I won’t actually be missing out on anything!

I recently purchased a replacement television from Currys parc pemberton. I could not find an appropriate replacement immediately so had assistance from an extremely helpful member of staff who was very knowledgeable about the products I was interested in. I was also assisted by two other members of staff while I was in store and found them extremely helpful and considerate. The staff were George, Niamh and Amy, thank you for all of your help!

I am a regular customer at Currys parc pemberton. I would like to thank Chloe who is always absolutely amazing and sorts out all of my problems. I have many items with insurance and regularly pop in with questions or products that need repair. Chloe is always extremely helpful and is beyond tolerant of my many questions! Very many thanks Chloe and Currys who have a great member of staff!

Recently purchased a fridge freezer for our daughter and her fiancé .it was explained at the purchase that they live in a flat up some stairs which didn’t seem a problem. When they arrived they didn’t even assess it and flatly refused.we paid £20 to have the old one removed and my daughter said we will bring it down but they refused to wait! When she switched it on after the specified time it didn’t work! After a lot of correspondence via twitter they eventually sent an engineer who stated there was a gas leak and needed replacing! The 2nd delivery driver’s went out of their way and took it upstairs! How can one driver refuse and the other be helpful? This is poor customer service! I have no faith in “team know how” I have had dealings with them before which wasn’t good! It’s fine if it’s an easy job! The name gives you the impression that they have a wealth of experience! Unless it’s an easy job, done by bother with them! X

Placed an order on black friday, was notified of it being processed for delivery and the payment was taken from my account. 4 days later Curry's cancelled my order saying it was no longer in stock. Now I'm left to find a replacement while still being without the money until the refund is processed! Plenty of other companies seem to be able to keep up to date with their stock levels BEFORE a purchase is allowed to go through, not 4 days later!!

Ordered a tv on Thursday before Black Friday and was due to be delivered today. Waited in during 4 hour slot and 20 minutes before it was due to end I received an email to say that order was cancelled with no explanation. Called customer services and after waiting half an hour eventually spoke to woman who tells me that as a mistake was made re the pricing they don't have to fulfill order and it isn't valid until delivered but they have taken money from my account and it will take days for it to be returned. Not impressed at all and wont be using them again.

I have just purchased an Xbox one s bundle from Currys in the Black Friday sale. Although I was happy with the price I did not expect the box to have been opened already. The clear circular seals were already slit open and other seals replaced in different areas and some on top of previously stuck down seals (marked). I did not proceed to open the box but instead phoned to complain to Currys about this. After waiting about an hour to get through, the staff member, who was abrupt with me, said that perhaps a customer changed their mind and returned the item. I explained that I should not be receiving second hand goods even though a customer returned it when changing their mind! For all I know the xbox could be faulty or damaged! He put me through to another customer service member for information to return the item. Being left on hold for another 40 minutes is not acceptable. I have tried about 5 times to speak to them again but no answer. I will keep trying to get a replacement. Extremely poor service Currys and rude staff too. If you want to remain in the retail business then I suggest you improve your service. I have been looking at other reviews and am appalled at such a poor service from Currys. I don't think they even read these reviews (what a waste of time eh!).

Recently I visited a branch of Currys/PCWorld. I only expected to be 20 minutes or so, but the transactions took almost 2 hours. A week later I received a penalty notice from the firm that administer the car park. Naturally I appealed on the grounds that I was in the shop at the time. (There are signs saying maximum stay one and a half hours etc, but not surprisingly I didn't notice - why would I?). Appeal refused, so I went into the store. Not interested, saying the rules are the same everywhere, and anyway they have no control over (their own) car park. Wrote to Customer Services – same answer. Wrote to Chief Executive telling him that I will never use Currys/PCWorld again. He hasn't seen fit to reply. It beggars belief that any company would fine you for parking while in their store.

A couple of times I've tried to buy a laptop or Chromebook from PC World's Truro outlet. On the previous occasion the branch had no stock of the displayed laptop and offered me the option to get it delivered to the branch the next day for an added £5 (or thereabouts). I did not feel inclined to pay to stock Curry's shops adequately, and so bought on-line instead (not from PC World). Today I asked Truro Branch for a Chromebook which the Branch had on display. "Not in stock" their sales operative said - and we've nothing at our central warehouse either - don't know when we can get one. So to save time, I'll go to on-line sources again. I recommend you do the same. Put simply if Curry's PC World put an item on display I expect them to have it in that Branch or at the very least be able to tell me when they will have it - without further inconvenience. I will not buy an alternative more expensive and less popular item from them, because they fail to offer me what I actually traveled into their branch to buy. I'll simply go elsewhere. I recommend you try other outlets first and leave Curry's PC World to last - if at all. CURRYS - Completely Unhelpful Retailer, Recommend You Skip. Model sought today and not available, although displayed ... ASUS C202 11.6" Intel® Celeron™ Chromebook - 16 GB eMMC,
