I have been a long time Dell customer for laptops and have always used the touchpad. Just bought new Latitude 5540 and I find the touchpad unusable. The only setting available is one tap for touch the pad and this means every time you touch the pad - to move the cursor for example - it clicks on whatever the cursor is on. No option for 2 taps to click. Called support twice = no help. If you are a touchpad user stay away from this computer.

Worst customer service and terrible Dell Pay service. I returned a product that was delivered way after the promised date. After waiting for more than a month, O had to call the worst customer service in the world. The robot attendant is the worst, and was programmed to avoid direct to customer agent. It kept hanging up on me several times. After several days trying I was able to talk to a real person. Apparently Dell forgot to create my Credit Memo. But look like Dell also forgot to inform the Commenity bank. And now, since Dell switched from Syncrony Bank, I have been with problems. Also Dell Pay has a terrible customer service. And is taking forever to find a solution to my problem that is very simple. I sent the Credit Memo because Dell Pay couldn’t call Dell Store. They have the credit memo but gave 90 days to “find the best solution for me”. Since JANUARY, I am trying to solve this. But according to their predictions, my case will be solved in JUNE. I was a loyal Dell customer. But recently Dell became the worst. I will never buy with you again. And I want this resolve quickly because I want to close my account. DELL IS BEEN DISRESPECTFUL WITH HIS CUSTOMERS AND DECLINE THEIR QUALITY IN ALL ASPECTS. DO NOT BUY DELL. Go to HP or Lenovo who has way better customer service than this so called technology company. As expected Dell avoid to solve the problems. They change banks for their Credit account and now the new bank is doing a mess, Dell refuses to acknowledge the problems and help. The return system that Dell has in place is terrible. It took 6 weeks, and just after I called to complain, they acknowledged my return. If I hadn’t called, they would have “forgotten.” What happened to you Dell? How you became so bad? How you can go from the top to be one pf the worst companies ever. All new policies, customer service, system and even the website, everything got worse. Is terrible. If you think in buying something from Dell, please, consider another option. Their price is higher the ever, but with a reduced quality. DELL IS NOT WORTH ANYMORE!!! My wife and I work with procurement and Dell is now officially out of our recommendations. GOOD BYE DELL!!! I hope you go out of business soon!

I purchased a top of the line laptop (X16 RTX4090) with extended accidental premium plus cover in Nov 2023 (invoice date 11th Nov 2023. When I received it, it had an issue with the screen. I called up Dell customer support and they arranged for a replacement. This came 20th Dec 2023 and also had an issue with the screen. So I called Dell Support again on the same day. They acknowledged the issue again (I sent them photos both times), and arranged for another replacement. This arrived on the 4th Jan 2024 and didn't have any issues. When I checked my warranty status, it was starting from 11th Nov 2023 (initial purchase invoice date), instead of 4th Jan 2024 when Dell actually delivered a fault free laptop. I called up Dell so they can adjust the start date of warranty (I paid extra for 3 year accidental cover). I was told by multiple agents in different Dell departments (customer service, Technical Support, Dellcares on X etc.) that what I was asking for is reasonable and valid. But, I am told that it can't be done and I am expected to lose out on my two months warranty! A manager in tech team offered me £15 refund or an option for full refund and I was told that I should be grateful that I'm being offered this considering I purchased it in Nov 2023! I spent nearly £3000 and Dell is telling me it's doing me a favor by offering these two choices? I didn't want £15 refund, I just wanted my warranty start date to reflect when Dell supplied me with a working laptop. Dell to starts warranty from date of invoice before customers take delivery (can be 2 days to few weeks) and customers lose out on those days. Dell then refuses warranty claim if it's just 24hrs out! Dell is a joke and it's reviews here reflect how the company operates. Following are Dell's managers own words: "( 1h 41m 43s ) Dell Advisor - Abhishek: I truly understand your point. Considering the conversation which we had on this chat - your ask is valid and i acknowledge that. But due to limitation sales team cannot help in getting this issue resolved. Decisions should come from technical support team and they can work towards resolution and close the case. ( 1h 44m 37s ) Frost: Well, all the best to you! Because they have told me that they are actually doing me a favor by offering me £15 refund or offering a full refund for the laptop. ( 1h 49m 27s ) Dell Advisor - Abhishek: Please accept my sincere apologies for the inconvenience, I would have felt the same if I were you." Dell prefers to lose out on a £3000 sale than to correctly adjust £15 worth of warranty start date adjustment that resulted in its own inability to deliver a working laptop! What kind of a company does that?

My Inspiron laptop became unstable on Monday 2/19/2024. Suspected a bad touchpad. Happened once before 9 months after I bought it. Have Dell Premium Support plan. Was replaced and now it seems 9 months later it seems to have gone bad again. Dell Tech Support schedule technician visit on 2/21. I never heard from the technician. Called that night, service was rescheduled for 2/22 between 10am to 6pm. Canceled appointments and waited a second day. Technician called at 6pm and said he couldn't make it but would show up by 3pm the next day, Friday 2/23. Called him at 6pm and he said he couldn't make it. I sat around again, for a third day with no service. DELL TECH SUPPORT IS GODAWFUL BAD!!!!

I placed an order and awaited shipping. After a week, I checked on it. Status was order canceled because "a problem with the order". I suspect they oversold. But the reason for 1 star is I was not notified my order was canceled. That is terrible customer service.

I have an XPS Desktop. Support Assist is a joke and Customer support is pathetic. I think they work from home and hate to be bothered. The average "support assist" person does not seem really bright, every once in a while, I get a one that seems knowledgeable but can't really help with anything and provides sympathy!

I am using dell vostro series and also purchased onsite support and extended warranty i paid the extra amount for the same. But if i faced any issued they never provide any solution and no one visit to fix the problem first time they reinstall the windows second time asking for me to replug the RAM manually even i am not technical person and don’t have the toolkit. If i paid the extra amount then what is the benefit for the same. This is really a worst experience ever in my life. I’ll highly recommend to everyone that not to choose dell and don’t pay any extra amount for any support and extra warranty. They are making fool on the name of support and extra warranty. Even i wasted much time and money.

I had purchased a Dell Inspiron 7710 i7710-7945WHT-PUS All-in-One Desktop, i7-1255U through Costco and has never felt that I am happy with almost $2000 CAD I paid for the machine. The quality is very low. Lots of incompatibilities of components as it freezes sometimes.

Dell is worst brand on laptop. I had 3 high end gaming laptop from Dell and none of them worked properly more than 6 months. And Dell Advance customer service and protection plan all false. They replace used item and keep you wait till your warranty expire. After that they say nothing can be done now you need to purchase new protection plan. Also all Dell laptops in the site says wrong like battery runs 4.5 hr but according to customer service, battery run only 1 hr max. Advaced technical team supervisor told me when I complain about my battery died after 6 months of use. I do not rely on Dell product and their customer service. They never accept there mistake and replace my laptop they just simply do the false fix again and again till your warranty expires. I would not recommend anyone to buy Dell laptop at all. I lost more than $3000 and wasted so much time talking to customer service. Also after multiple escalation they are not bother and only one men deal all this and he said no one above me, if I said nothing can be done mean you should not call back again. This ridiculous and I never seen this kinds of word from any company.

I have been waiting a month now on a 75" monitor I bought for a trade show, their shipper has shipped the thing all over the US, and Dell could care less, no response, no recourse, no sorry, no nothing. We invested over 20k to go to the trade show to introduce our new system, only to have every dollar wasted, waiting on Dell to get it here, and their useless shipper is AIT.

Worst customer service have ever experienced. Ordered Samsung 2tb card in Early December and shows in stick ready to ship. Several days later was notified item was delayed till seventh of december. Then was notified item delayed again. Item never arrived before end of year. Used Amex to pay for as get a 200 dollar credit every 6 months, this one had to be paid for by end of year. reached out via phone, they do not answer. Some horrible clueless Indian customer service agent sent and email not addressing a single concern. All they had to do was charge item when placed and would not do this so I lost credit from Amex. NEVER USE THIS HORRIBLE COMPANY!!!

I've been buying Dell products for decades for my small business, but no longer. I received my new Optiplex on July 12 and it literally died on October 9. I waited a month for an on-site tech to replace the motherboard. It didn't work. Sent it to Dell tech, who waited for parts, etc., before sending it back on December 22. I was not able to update any programs because the computer was not configured in Admin. It was a hellish time on the phone with not-helpful Dell tech support and hours with MSFT. Then the computer alerted me to yet another hardware problem. I'm done with the product. Gave Dell the options of taking care of me as a long-term customer or refunding me and parting ways. They can only offer more support. That's a non-starter. After this experience I feel compelled to warn other small business owners to think twice before you trust Dell with your small business computing needs!

Awful customer service. Unwilling to refund for a faulty brand new product. Offshored customer service team rigidly follow policies requiring them to just say no. No interest in customer service or lifetime customer value. Don’t buy from Dell.

We ordered this online for an emplyoee. A few days after ordering the empyoee decided to buy her own and no longer needed this one that was ordered. We attempted to cancel the order online but it directed us to call customer support which we did. The representive refused to cancel the order because it was in the ship status and told me that we could simpley return it once it was delivered. He never said that there would be a 15% restocking fee. I kept an eye on the status of the order and it did not ship out for another 6 days. Once we received it we started the return process. We received an email stating that we needed to consent to a 15% restocking fee before processing the return. I attempted to call someone to discuss this and after trying to get in touch with a live person for over 4 hours he was rude and refused to budge on the restocking fee. I aksed to speak to a supervior and he merely tranfered me to a survey which at the end it disconnected the call. I have emailed dell twice trying to get this computer returned and they are not responding. It is clear that they only care about money and not making happy customers. We will just dispute the charges with the creidt card compnay at this point and never purchase another Dell product for our company or personal use.

Dell customer service sucks. They don’t stand by their product. Spent over $1000 on a desktop and they refuse to replace it even after 3 service calls to our home and sent machine back to them to fix and upon return it still doesn’t work. POS
