I will never buy any HP product, and I will never make a good recommendation about hp to anybody. You scam people; this is what you are doing. After so many years as a loyal customer, this is the way you have treaty me. I paid for a service that I will never be able to use because you suck and you are big scammers. Back in November last year I need to upgrade my laptop, so I called your customer service to ask if you can provide this (paid) service, but your answer was No (not very helpful). But you advise me to do it by myself. That was easy and came with zero risks. And I did it, and it worked. So all went well till this month that for reasons that I still not figure out yet the laptop stop to work. I believe there is a problem with the battery (cause it's deformed up in three points) or maybe is the firmware (as I said still trying to figure out). Anyway, I contacted you, and I have been denied the right to repair (incl in the three year Care pack that I paid) because " I PREVIOUSLY dismantle (under your instruction) my laptop, so the engineer will not take responsibility for that". This is a super mega scam. Why didn't the engineer in November highlight this little clause? Why nobody sends me an email highlighting the fact that upgrading my laptop = lose the right to repair? Why on earth? You got all this info too. You have all the emails and voice calls recorded. You do know very well that what I am said is not false. You should at least Informed me in the first place that I will lose the extended guarantee if I was to upgrade the laptop. Instead, you scammed me, and I will make sure that everybody online knows about you. And I hope nobody will ever spend a penny with you.

If I could give a 0 (zero) that's what I would give. Having spent over £1,000 on a laptop within two months the anodized painting on the laptop has tarnished on the lid. This is because the envy 360 laptop, has very sharp edges and clearly any paint would be seen in these areas. I write this with support they said they would call me next day they didn't, I called them they said send me some photographs I did they were supposed to call me back by next day they didn't, I called them they said at the time when it looks like a scratch it wasn't. and I explained since the covid-19 lock down the laptop hasn't even left my lounge. I was told I would be called next day I wasn't. I call them the overseas operator said I've been told the day before it was a chargeable repair I wasn't. I also asked them to go back over there recording calls because they're operator was lying. he then went away and after 15-minutes came back to say it looks like damage, "it isn't", he then suggested that the laptop be taken back for investigation this may take 2/ 3-weeks, they would then decide if it was a scratch and charged me for a new aluminium. He was not prepared to advise potential cost, I had to speak to a new team. Explain this unacceptable as it is very likely they would make a decision in their own favour and charged with several hundred pounds, he said I could raise a post sales but he was wrong because post-sales said it was 2 months not 30 days as per their policy. I also said liver send it to suppose sales can I also make a complaint he advised no I can't make a complaint if I speak to another department. I currently have to other laptops and printer from HP. When they work it's fine when you want support it's terrible. not sure why I wasted money on a 3-year warranty which is no good. Suggest Acer as a company were much better. Sent my complaint to the CEO but as you expect no response even to acknowledge my email. Best avoid this company if you can.

Avoid at all costs I've bought a laptop which turned out to be faulty. I called support and they got me to reinstall everything including Windows 10 and all the drivers, and after 3 hours on the phone, the HP support person decided to have the laptop replaced for me. They collected the laptop 2 days later and HP went silent for weeks. I must have sent 15 emails and a few phone calls chasing my replacement laptop only to be told that this model has been discontinued and I would receive a refund. To my surprise, I found the laptop advertised on their website with an increased price after Covid19. Now I've been told by HP that they have to collect the laptop to get the refund and although they've already collected it for replacement, I have the receipt to prove it, the refund is a different process and department and looks like they can't process my refund. What a shambles! My only route now is the office of fair trading

Bought an OfficeJet printer end of 2019 that never worked well. Months later and after many attempts to Support I asked the printer to be replaced. It was replaced days later with the warning: keep your accessories, cables, cartridges etc. Received a new printer and that is when my real problems began. Within this period I signed for Instant Ink, a monthly program that allows you to print a number of copies for a fair price. As my first printer didn't work at all, I cancelled the program, why pay a monthly fee for no printer? The new printer came without cartridges. I opened the box and right away installed the cartridges that I had from the previous printers and... The printer displays a message: "cartridges can only be used in printer that initially installed it". These cartridges had 5 copies total. Contact the Support again (this was the 12th time in 2 weeks) and explained what was happening. The attendant told me I needed to print an information page from the printer that showed the registration number. But I could't print anything because it was blocked even for resigning to the Instant Ink program. I should buy new cartridges (16 euros for the black and 29 euros for the color) just to print this page and retrieve the registration number. What has become this printing business? Isn't enough pay absurd prices for cartridges and be able to print like 30 copies for cartridge? What happened to Customer Service? What is this Virtual Chat other than a waste of time? Do you folks at HP realize how pathetic is all this? I tell you this, this Instant Ink is pretty fair, if it would work. I am an old customer from HP since my calculator HP48 at the 80's but I will never again buy anything from you and I hope who is reading this take my words seriously and avoid problems. Printing should be an amazing thing but you turned it into hell.

I purchased one of these headset and like many of their headsets was faulty , After more than an hour on the phone and many unanswered Emails i eventually sorted a date for their courier to pick it up but after waiting in all day they did not even turn up , I have Emailed them again but still no reply , I'm at a loss with what to do next , I am so frustrated , Stressed and angry with their awful customer service , My advice would be to save yourselves some time and grief and avoid HP UK like the plague

Ordered a laptop on Black Friday. Went to Best Buy a couple hours later and my wife decided she didn't like it. Spent a ridiculous hour on hold and talking to reps to cancel the order. 10 days later...no refund...no emails with updates. I chatted with their support team and they say that it was being built and couldn't be cancelled and can't be cancelled and will be mailed in 3 days. They still refuse to cancel the order and it hasn't even shipped yet. Then I told them "What if I refuse delivery, will I get a refund" and they said they'll charge me a 15% restocking fee! HP is a scam. Do not buy from them!!

Bought 2 laptops from the HP Online Store. First time and certainly it is the last time I do this. Supposedly the laptops have been delivered but not the me. Signed for by a person that has a different name to name on a £1,800 delivery - how does this even happen. Then emailed HP, no reply. Called and after holding on for an age got a rather disinterested agent who said they would conduct an investigation and get back to me when they are done. What a mess and I suspect it is going to get worse as this unfolds.

Just bought a HP envy printer. When setting it up a fatal error message appeared. I contacted 02081337717 a number from their website. Spoke to Justin he then transferred me to Jennifer to help me. I then realised they had accessed my computer, I ended up having to put a stop to my bank account. When I went to asda to complain about the fraud they were aware that there was a problem but seemed totally unconcerned. I informed they have a duty of care to me. Feeling very upset as I am getting nowhere in trying to solve this problem. The least they should do is offer a decent anti-vius service to me. I am living in fear of what has been hacked on my computer,

By far the worst company I've ever dealt with. No customer support - you have to follow suggestions on the community board or ask a question there which may or may not be answered. If you want actual customer support you can pay £35 subscription to their care package. Spent four hours following suggestions to fix a printer with an unspecified error message and got nowhere. You can download a diagnostic software called 'scan and print doctor' but it fidnt even recognise there was a problem. If you buy hp be prepared to accept zero support if anything goes wrong.

Well, my laptop arrived when expected today and was very well packed. Documentation inside showed that it had been repaired on 24/09/19 with instructions to return to me on 07/10/19 (when I returned from my holiday) - so HP had got it right all along, except that their CS were totally unaware. They had to email the repair shop to find out the status and I expected them to phone me back, all I got was the standard HP email saying it had been collected for return to me. This state of affairs does nothing to enhance the reputation of HP, in fact it makes them look like a bunch of back street traders. NOTE TO HP:- Make sure your CS staff have access to repair status info.

Just received an email saying my laptop will be delivered tomorrow, hence an improved 3*. No promised phone call, just their standard email. Good job I have access to another PC otherwise I would still be wondering where it is. Still, at least its done and coming home - if not, I will be leaving another 1* review. Not exactly the level of service from a blue chip company is it?

Further to my previous 5* review, here is an update:- I now have a broken hinge on my laptop so Ive returned it for a repair, all nice and easy so far, laptop collected when they said and it had arrived with HP on 23/09/19. The warranty documentation tells me that they endeavour to repair & return within 7 working days, Its now 11 working days and Ive already made 2 phone calls to them trying to find out what the hold up is - Im sorry to report I am still waiting to find out. I will leave a further review when something definite happens, but at this stage I doubt if I would buy HP again. CS leaves an awful lot to be desired.

Disgusting Customer Service Disgusting Customer Service! I ordered a laptop with a delivery estimate of 48 hours, that changed to 5-10 working days on order completion. I received an email saying the product would be with me on the 8th October. Then when I checked the website the estimated deliver was changed to the 24th October? On the 7th October I called HP only to find that the 24th is another estimate and I may not receive the product for months as they cannot guarantee delivery? They took full payment on the date I ordered, and I think it is disgusting that they are still advertising a time of 5-10 days on the product I ordered, when they have none in stock and admitted they do not know when they will be back in stock? The person I spoke to sounded monotone and did not care a hoot about the delay, they offered to cancel the order, and that was their solution. Disgraceful way to run a business - avoid!

HP's customer service is the worst I have experienced my PC was not working properly and needed to go in the workshop. first they said they could not find anything wrong, several email later they told me it needed parts. After a few days they I rang them asking what going on, only to be told it will take a couple of months and possibly longer to get the parts. After complaining they agree to replace my pc(which was only 8 months old). Then started weeks of me chasing them up to find out what was going on. The dept that deals with complaints has no telephone number and is in Portugal

one of the worst companies in printers. Never ever recommend HP printers, They expire after one year when warranty expires. I called customer services of HP and he stated warranty is expired. I paid nearly £300 pounds for the printer and it is not switching on. HP saying i should go to local shop and fix it.

Rang up the day my laptop was delivered and I reported to the HP tech department it was faulty they said they would call me back...they never did. I had to get back in contact with them, I was told to update it and it would resolve the issue... it didn’t. I rang every day for nearly a week and was getting nowhere was basically dismissed by every tech agent I spoke to. I send video evidence to one of the tech team members showing them evidence that it was faulty and nothing came from it. After days of calling I was finally was promised an exchange if after the final update it didn’t work, and when it didn’t work I got back intouch AGAIN and was finally told I could have an exchange and then received an email saying that my item had been refunded once it was collected when I wanted an exchange!!!!! Yet again I rang up and the tech team said they had resolved the issue and will send out a replacement when they didn’t and I got the refund and no replacement laptop was sent out. I rang again about the issue and was told that the item was discontinued, even though I could go online and buy it again right now!!!!! Spent hours on the phone and hours on hold for absolutely nothing to come from this and now I start uni on Monday with no laptop because of the shocking service. Truly so disappointed and frustrated. Went around in circles for days and days which was so stressful as it was an expensive laptop that I spent a lot of my own money on and nobody took it seriously. Would never order from here again. Shame there isn’t a 0 star rating!

I have owned a Photosmart C8180 for many years and as a result bought a 17" HP laptop last year everything works as it should, the ordering process was simple and smooth. Ive bought the odd ink as and when but have now decided to use compatible inks because they are cheaper and work just as well. Overall Im happy to have bought from HP.

I ordered a £2000 system . The order was processed twice (Two different dates for two slightly differing amounts- they couldn't even get that right ) so it meant the funds were removed from my bank account twice and wasn't returned for five days. HP admitted their mistake but not interested in compensation for loss of use of funds for my business. Very poor indeed- Buy from someone else. Not only this the box looked like it had been thrown around and the box had a damaged corner.

AVOID! Bought a so called "premium" laptop (Envy x360) direct from HP. After 3 weeks wireless connection started dropping every 2 -3 minutes. Support line is only open Mon-Fri (when you're at work). Otherwise you need to report the fault online (great if you have a laptop that can connect to the internet). By the time I was able to finish work early (on a Friday) and call them, I was put in a queue and then told that the waiting time was so long (over 40 minutes) that the service will close before my call was answered (which turned out to be true). Called them the following Monday morning to be told that the return window closed 3 days ago!!! I now have to wait for a repair. When asked to be put through to their complaints/customer service department I was told that I cannot have a repair open at the same time as a complaint. So, 2 choices: complain and further delay access to my £1000 computer or don't complain and get this virtually brand new computer repaired. A very clever way of avoiding complaints. Please avoid this company. The poor experience of this laptop is exacerbated by even worse support.
