Good Afternoon, I am so disappointed of Appliance form IKEA and never will recommend to buy any appliances from IKEA!!! NEVER!! I bought dishwasher for nearly $1000 !! Seriously $1000 dishwasher which was repaired nearly 7 times in 3 years!! Yep!! True!! The oven and microwave cost me also too much money!! MY mistake!! I bought the most expensive microwave and oven!! Really!! Never recommend!! I was even ok with those items!! BUT NO!! listen to this!! My cooktop!! Yes!! MY mistake!! I bought induction cooktop from IKEA!! On 7th day of December 2020 the half of cooktop stoped working!! There was a code F47!! I called customer servise!! They schedule me for repair on DEC 22nd!! Yes!! Dec 22nd - just before Christmas!! I menntioned that I need someone to come with necessary parts to repair it!! EASY!! Right!! But NO!! It wasn’t easy and clearly for company hired by IKEA!! The guy who came to my house said “” good Afternoon miss. When I come here i just eealize that you need new .. to fixed! i just so the problem tou indicated on the paper this morning!!!””” REALLY!!’ And NOW, today is 19th of JANUARY and nobody even contact me!!! NOBODY!!! My induction cooktop is nit working for more that 1 month!! I WILL NEVER, NEVER RECOMMEND IKEA TO OTHERS!!! NEVER!! Don’t waste your money for IKEA!!

Late last year, I order £500 worth of furniture through Ikea online and it was the most shocking customer experience I've ever had in my life. They charged a £50 delivery fee and all the furniture arrived broken. It took me 6 phone calls to their customer services to get the replacements sorted, and they never arrived to collect the faulty items. Months later, after them threatening to charge us for the faulty items that they failed to collect, we ended up having to hire a van to drop these at a store. The assistant there was also incredibly unhelpful, refusing to open a formal complaint for us or give us any written confirmation that we had returned the items. I was offered 3 callbacks by a manager during our months of trying to resolve, and not a single time did anyone contact me. Each time I was told this would be within 48 hours. There is no way to write a formal complaint to IKEA; you only have the option to wait in their phone line for hours (more than half the times I tried this I was cut off after 45 minutes waiting) or use their online chat if you are incredibly lucky in timing. This will put you through to a customer services rep, who will tell you a manager will call you back within 48 hours. As outlined above, they never managed to call me back from any of the three times this was requested. Their Twitter support team are also completely unhelpful, after over 10 tweets over nearly two months, and two DMs from them they managed to resolve nothing. I have had far better service from independent sellers on eBay than I received from IKEA's large customer services team, and I highly recommend avoiding their online service at all costs.

Ordered a kitchen. WHAT A DISASTER!! we went in for the planning appointment, we already had most of the kitchen complete on the planning part before we even got there so should have been fairly easy. After we finished we We never received any plans for the construction crew, so I went up there with my husband a few days later because of course you cant get ANYONE to answer the phones and low and behold after looking at the plans, apparently during the planning process with the ikea rep, she added 3inches to a wall in the kitchen. Doesn't sound like much but now the cabinets block the back door. Unfortunately, the kitchen was set to be delivered 4 days later, and they said it was already picked and loaded. WE HAD TO REDO THE WHOLE KITCHEN. Not only did I pay in sums of $16,000 for a kitchen BUT i had to pay for all the corrected cabinets. THEN after the delivery they shorted me 16 items and I had to pick through and return ALL of the original items that were incorrect (over 100 boxes) HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE DO NOT GO THERE IF YOU CAN HELP IT!!!!! Oh and 63 days later still missing a base cabinet so cant even finish my kitchen until it comes in and they said they have no idea when that will be

IKEA SUCKS. Everything takes longer than it should. The workers are disorganized and unhelpful, except for the lady at the express checkout. The process of picking up furniture should be 5-10x faster than it is, but they overcomplicate things and make you wait for an unreasonable amount of time. I WILL NOT SHOP HERE AGAIN

I ordered the three screen shades on Ikea website in September 2020. It's about $120 including shipping charge. The ETA was next week of my ordered date, but my order status was just FedEx shipping label was created and my order was not shipped over a month. I tried to call to the customer service many times but Ikea customer call center was closed, I contacted them by email many times. My request was very simple, just cancellation of the order and refund. But they didn't handle my request and also they couldn't find my order. They just turned me around between several customer service representatves over and over again. Finally, I gave up contacting them and filed an unauthorized transaction claim to my credit card company and got back my payment amount. After then, I suddenly received a notification email for compeltion of the delivery of my order from Ikea in end of Decemeber 2020! I tracked my order via FedEx website but the status was not updated, it's still the label created. Ikea has updated my order status on Ikea account It's delivered but actually the package was not shipped and I've never received my order.

I spoke with Armando from IKEA's resolution team in Montreal this morning and he was fabulous. Very personable and so helpful. He got my issue with a damaged cabinet resolved asap. Can't say enough good things about this gentleman.

I’ve been absolutely ripped off. I ordered a Lapland TV unit and paid over £40 for delivery. It arrived with no instructions, fixtures and fittings, screws etc. After being on hold for an hour I spoke to somebody who had worked there for two weeks and didn’t know how to use the system. She kept calling her colleague and passing on messages to me, then calling the colleague back as she was getting confused. Eventually the penny dropped and she managed to order my fixtures and fittings. Once they arrived later this week I took the planks of wood out of the three boxes and one of the boxes was nothing to do with the cabinet I had ordered. I now have half a useless cabinet that can’t be assembled. There is no quality control, zero customer service and I have lost my money.

I ordered the Malm six drawer dresser. I have been wanting it for about a year. It was delivered on Friday 1/8 with one box missing. I contacted support and they said a new one would be shipped out. I get a shipping notification and call saying it would delivered today and it was not. My mom waited all day. I checked the tracking and it said the order was canceled yesterday. I did not get any notification about the ordering being canceled. I called Ikea and they said it was out of stock and that's why it was canceled and it was out of stock in the other colors. I was told that I could have an alternate which was incorrect information. It took almost an hour for the supervisor to get on the phone after I asked for her. She said I couldn't get an alternate and they only thing they could do was refund me. The dresser is still available on the website even though it was out of stock. I now have to go out and buy a dresser. It is so inconsiderate of the company to offer something that they cannot provide.

I Purchased some Christmas lights that were defective. First of all, the packaging of the red tin can is awful. The lights and paperwork are crammed into the tin, forcing customers to pry the lights out of the container. Then, there’s the unfurling of the tightly packed lights, which is difficult. Trust me. Finally, once the lights were untangled and batteries inserted, the lights didn’t work. I found a defect in the cord. So, I drove all the way back to the store in Costa Mesa, checking their hours before I headed over. Google indicated the store was open till 7 PM. No problem. I got there only to find out returns and exchanges close at 6pm. The employee at the exit was not particularly nice, she pretty much insinuated that I was lying when I informed her that I had checked the store hours beforehand. She insisted hours for returns and exchanges can be found after a quick search on Google, which they aren’t. I’ve noticed, lately, customer service at the Costa Mesa store is not the greatest. My last few visits to that store, the employees weren’t particularly friendly and on two occasions they behaved as if I somehow inconvenienced them merely by asking a question. A friend told me Ikea employees have the Apple store complex: because it’s so difficult to get a job with IKEA now, employees behave as if they are better than the customers. I don’t know if that’s true, all I know is the employees with whom I recently interacted have not been particularly friendly.

I purchased a white kitchen from IKEA two years ago and two years after the cabinet drawers and cupboard doors stained to a beige/yellow colour. I tried to call them several times on the phone but nobody answers the phone at all. Because of this, I went to the IKEA store in Burlington, ON to solve the problem with one of their associates. They told me to file a warranty claim on the computer via the warranty page. But when I went on to the page, and it doesn't show a page to fill out any form. It only shows the length of the warranty. I went and contacted their customer service chat and they told me the same thing, to call their customer service line. Which then, I told her that I was having difficulty trying to get someone on the line. She ended up telling me the same thing as if I wasn't having difficulty with their customer service over the phone. I'm in a situation that I don't know what to do. Their customer service deserves zero stars if anything. At the end of the day, I wasted 3 hours of my day on the phone trying to get ahold of someone. Not only did I waste my day but I did not solve my problem. I do not recommend anyone to buy anything from IKEA as it is a world of uncertainty and problems. Especially their kitchen.

If i could give 0 star i'd definitely do that. Horrible horrible customer service. I called them to get my refund cuz they charged me for the order which I cancelled. And the lady kept me in hold and took foreverrrrr just to get back to f*** call. 🤬🤬🤬

I placed an order on 28th Nov with all my Christmas Decorations and daughters Christmas presents. Order was cancelled on the day it was supposed to be delivered 15th Dec but they offer no refund for 7-days so no presents and no refund for me until after Christmas. But all items where in stock online. So I rang and they promised to place the order and deliver by Christmas eve.... Failed to deliver. Great! Luckily my daughter is only 2 so shes happy with anything, including boxes and wrapping paper but it's not the point. I rang again and they promised it would be delivered by the 4th...which would have been fine as its my daughters birthday on the 9th of Jan so a belated christmas/birthday.... Didn't arrive on the 4th. It's now the 10th still no delivery and they've shut the customer service line. finally the delivery is supposed to arrive tomorrow... Fingers crossed but not holding my breath. Never shopping online with them again.

I am disappointed in Ikeas website. I have been trying for a month to order something online which is still out of stock, which I understand, but when I try to have it delivered from the manufacturer the website insists my zip code is invalid when it is in fact not. Even why I tried to order a different product that was in stock my zip code still did not work. It is so infuriating! I then tried to continue to write an email asking why this was but my only option was to write email with order cancellation as the subject. It would be nice if I could even make an order!!!

you have to go around the world to find what you are looking for . that is a big waste of time. then you get to the bin where your item is to suppose to be and not one but both items were out of stock. It should show stock availability on the tag on the item. I will never waste time there again

Discraceful delivery service. Looking at the reviews im suprised something is not being done about it. Currently waiting on a call....again. My expected delivery did not turn up, dispite saying it was on its way it was never in stock....how does that even happen! Second attempt today looks fragile as I have had no email or txt as said. I cannot find anywhere to make a formal complaint or ask for my money back....Im waiting on a call thats costing me money

Wish I had read these reviews before I arranged my non existent delivery. Even the tracking service doesn't work. It told me it was on its way...but it was never there! I did finally get through to customer service who told me the order was out of stock, this was not apparent when I payed for it and a 40 pound delivery!

The order and pickup process is a complete and utter nightmare!! We waited for over an hour to pick up a nightstand foe my daughter. We were notified by email that our order was ready for pickup. We headed to the store and checkin. After about 30 min we asked a worker who was bringing out another customers order about what was going on. We got the “this isn’t really my department, I’m just helping out today” line. After another 15 minutes we asked for a supervisor. We got nothing. We were treated like they could care less we were even there. I will NEVER buy another IKEA product.

Customer Service is terrible. I ordered items to be shipped. waited all day for the delivery... nothing. Days later hadn't been able to get a hold of anyone so we cancelled the order. We've called multiple times, sent emails, messaged them on Facebook....nothing. Still waiting for the Refund and its been 4 weeks. Absolute Worst Service Ever.
