Lowe's extended warranty is a rip off. We've been waiting two weeks, had two appointments scheduled (for a 9 hour window) and cancelled midday of the appointment. They have now rescheduled...after a two ring phone call with no actual person talking...for another eight days out. This was a rip off. Buy from someone else, or expect to have no service after the sale.

My wife bought a GE gas range and paid for delivery and install. Paid for July 1st online, and install and delivery scheduled for July 3rd. My wife was checking on the delivery time window online and noticed that the order had been canceled and that a refund was due. When she called to get an answer she received an "I'm sorry that they didn't tell you. The oven glass was shattered and they could not deliver it." So - we tried again and ordered the same one. To make a long story short - we could not communicate with the person they sent to install and deliver the new one due to a language barrier. We did spend most of his visit giving him Band-Aids because he sliced his hand up pretty bad inside the delivery truck. We tended to his hand and then he installed the stove, which meant using the install kit (new fittings) and tightening up the hose. After they left, my wife said she noticed a smell and we both had insane headaches. We spent 24 hours opening and closing windows - and were completely livid at each other due to the headaches and gas smell. We had Texas Gas Service come out and they Red Tagged the appliance and valve due to a gas leak. The guy overtightened it and didn't use a new fitting. Left it like that with us to figure out. Explosions anyone? We thought they would have sent someone who new what they were doing. The owners manual said that a gas smell was normal and would go away after you use the stove. Today I am waiting for yet another hopeful install, after finding out that Lowe's uses a third party. They are not even registered or necessarily experts in what they are sent out to install - the service that you paid for. I was told that if they cannot install it, that I can call a plumber and that they will reimburse us. This - without a stove to cook food on for days now.

I recently purchased a garage door opener with installation and warranty, and my debit card was charged two times and then a third time for the same items. For some reason, I decided to give Lowe’s a second chance and have purchased a dishwasher, installation and warranty. These purchases were made online. Today I received an alert from my bank saying that my debit card had been charged again twice for the same transactions. We’re talking over $1000 times two. These funds are put on hold, and I am unable to use them. During today’s economy, many are living paycheck to paycheck. As you know if any of my other bills come through while Lowes is holding up over $1K erroneously, those bills will not be paid. I spoke to a customer service representative who said the company knows this is an issue but has done nothing to fix it. It is my fault for deciding to give Lowes a second chance. Trust and believe I will not make this mistake again.

I ordered a patio set. I was on vacation and had six days for them to deliver it. They said they would deliver in 6/26/24. I wasted part of that vacation day waiting for them. They never showed up. It was rescheduled for 7/1/24. Again, I wasted part of a vacation day waiting for them. They never showed up. I called to cancel the order. They refunded the amount for the items, but not the assembly charge. They never called or emailed to keep me advised of any problems. Not professional, organized, or customer oriented.

United States Marine fired for going on active duty with permission. Lowes called it no call no show. These are the men willing to die for our country. Do not support these stores! Said they don't know how the military works. News flash. 1 weekend every month. And 2 weeks once a year. Not real difficult. Come on support our men that serve our country.

We were wanting to purchase vinyl board lifetime warranty flooring. Lowe’s has started subbing out the measuring process to Kelly Services. The lady that measured our house told us that we should hear from them on Tuesday. On Saturday I called them. The guy had no measurements and he would have to wait until Monday to talk them about our measurements. No one called when he said he would. Then we go on vacation and he starts calling. I tried to call him back and he didn’t answer. So he finally gets back with us and he said we had to choose our product. We chose it the day we went into to Lowes and asked them to come out and measure. He said, “Why didn’t you take a picture or get a sample?” I explained I shouldn’t have to take a picture and a sample was never offered. I also told him I had had nothing but trouble with this process since it started. So I went back in the next day and took a picture and called him and gave it to him. He finally called by about two days later and wanted me to go over it with him. We were going over it and he smarted off a snide response about my attitude and I hung up on him. I don’t have to listen to him when Lowes process was not following through the way they were supposed to. We went and got our flooring from someone else and it will be laid tomorrow. I do not like that you have to deal with four different people before getting your flooring from Lowe’s. First the guy at the store screwed up and didn’t write up right. Second the lady that measured my house messed up and didn’t send the measurements. Third your guy working from home had an attitude and did not try to work things out. I never got to the installation process and now Lowes has missed a good sale and has me telling people about my negative experience. I already had kitchen cabinets put in by Lowe’s but there won’t be anything else done by them. It was an awful experience!

The night before we were at the Shawnee Oklahoma Lowes and saw several brands of linoleum that was on sell. We asked the sales associate if there was any left and they assured me there was plenty pointing to the “in stock” sticker. We are doing a major renovation to our home and decided to come back that very next morning to purchase 30 linear feet. Long story short, borrowed a truck and rented a trailer and get there at opening time that next morning. Turns out it wasn’t NONE of the items were in stock and had not been for WEEKS! The associate (who took 20 minutes to respond to “assistance needed) rambled on about “ya they knew they were out but we keep the signs up because….” ???! We called around to all the other LOWES and got the same run around. BAIT AND SWITCH AT ITS WORST. We were not the only people there with that same complaint. I think I will just switch to the local yard. Not as cheap but they don’t lie to your face and waste your time.

Too bad there isn't a minus grade! Ordered a black stainless steel whirlpool dishwasher at the Saratoga, NY Lowes. Installed it, went to put the handle on, discovered it was plain chrome. Checked the model#. It was the model below the one we paid for! Called the store. The guy in appliances became hostile so I asked to be transferred to customer service. He said I'd have to call back and hung up. Customer service was no help so I called corporate. That guy opened a case, refunded the difference plus some to match Home Depots price, and told me to bring the handle with the case # to the store and they would replace it with a black stainless one. Right. Ten days after my husband saw the manager, he called to see if the handle was in. He was told the black would not fit as the higher model was different dimensions. Not true. They are exactly the same, i had already researched it. Back to corporate, who sent me to whirlpool who, bless thier hearts, sent me the handle (although to the wrong address, so they sent it again. This time the wrong handle) it's been 6 weeks and still dealing with this. We have shopped Lowes for 30 years. Never again. We cut up our cards.

I recently purchased a washer and dryer from Lowe’s the day they delivered it and set it up. We went to use it and the basket in the washing machine drop out of the bottom of the washer. They said they would contact us in 24 hours to get a replacement to say they never called back after I called every day and they cannot connect to the distribution center the distribution center, which is a third-party was not answering their phone. I didn’t change it. Take the washing machine back and refund my money. It’s been 17 days they have not picked up the washer nor refund my money , I would advise anybody looking to purchase anything from Lowe’s to go elsewhere. I have now taken steps with Visa to get a credit for the washing machine. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with in my 65 years.

Lowe's is absolutely the worst place to go to for flooring, and as I have learned, pretty much. Anything else. There customer service is horrible. Been try to find out what's going on with my flooring. I constantly get told someone will call you. Nobody ever calls. Or I get told, I can't find the order. Mind you. This is in stock items. Not special order. Now I see they sent via email, to my husband info that is 200.00 more than the contract I signed. That is total butt. So I have to watch they don't take more from my account. Again, when I contact them. They say. Someone will be in touch with you shortly to explain the difference. Again, nobody calls. I will never use Lowe's again. And will steer anyone I know away from them.

I used to be 100% lowes. I got a card with them and about 6 years it got hacked. They canceled my current card and said they would send me a new card. It has been 3 months and still no new card. I got a letter saying that they are canceling the account due to inactivity. Now I have to reapply and get a credit inquiry on my credit score if I want to have a new card. My business is going elsewhere

Don't buy any appliances from lowes they are crook we bought a fridge they delivered it had to take the doors off to get it inside Don't know what they did when they put it back on but when you close the bottom part the freezer part pops open now they tell me I have to contact the manufacturer to see about it they give you a number to call but no one answers they full of bs so if you need anything I don't recommend lowes they just take your money and the he'll with you after rude customer service they train them well 😡 oh almost forgot to mention that they dent the fridge trying to get it in the house after my husband told them it wouldn't fit so I guess that's our fault and had the nerve to want too give a discount if I want a discounted fridge I would have bought one I wasn't asking for anything free just wanted if replaced...

Lowe's is turning into a full self-checkout in McMinnville, Tennessee. I don't know how many others are doing it which can barely any associates in the store. Horrible shopping experience

Never use Lowe's there corrupt and if you didn't know don't buy a mower till you plan to use it because it is a set up. They sold us a mower in April went to use it in June and paid 400 for a warranty the mower wouldn't even start we charged the battery then ten minutes later it started smoking and wouldn't start there horrible they wouldn't do nothing for us but offer to refund it and even had the nerve to tell us that we still might have to pay to get it fixed because our warranty doesn't cover it. Why do you pay for a warranty? I rral. If anyone was in our shoes you would not accept this mower because we paid for a 3000 dollar new mower and this isn't a new mower. A new mower starts when you go to start it and don't blow up on you. Never shop here Springfield ohio location manager name Ashley is the most disrespectful unprofessional manager I've seen. You guys this is from experience. They did this to my 85 ll6 year old grandma it broke down June 1st took them 2 weeks to cone get it and thry siad teo weeks to fix it. 😂 It's just when you shop at Lowe's you expect the best and far from the best. We've contwcted state attonrey general bbb consumer affairs and Lowe's at least 20 times with no sympathy from Lowe's or even ownership for being in the wrong selling us this mower. My grandma's cried everyday since June 1st because of these people there corrupt.

Customer service is the worst they don't know how to answer the phone. I think these big businesses should take all of their phones out in put them in the garbage because the workers don't answer the phones anyway.

They just delivered and installed a new LG washer. After install people left my wife started a load. Water poured out all over the floor. I got in touch with the install people and they came back. All the connections were fine--the washer is defective. All he said in broken English was call customer service and don't use. Am in 20th minute on hold waiting for "customer service". Buyer beware. Lowe's will sell you a broken product and strand you.

I bought a "New" impact drill kit from the PaducahKentucky store. After opening the package I noticed I was missing parts. While on the phone with customer service and further inspection of drill I noticed the drill was used. Handle was cracked and also was off set from the other side. Further more it was covered in black suet. Customer service pretty much told told me I was out of luck and would have to drive the 90 mile round trip to return to the store. Also I had a broken razor knife with a "Hassle Free Gaurantee" I was told in the store that they no longer carry that exact knife and would not replace it. Very disappointed.

The Lowe's store in Woburn is a terrible place, you go on line it says it has the product and you go there nothing it's happened many time getting tired of this I live two towns over and have to go to Salem NH. which seems the have everything I'll stick with Home Depot at least they have what I want so goodbye Lowe's

Read reviews! Lowe's is going down hill fast! Very Sad but when they don't stand behind returns... now their policy is no receipt, no in-store credit. This all equivocates to poor customer service. Thank goodness Home Depot is just around the corner.

First of all there was no one around to even ask for help, had to go back up front & ask for someone to help us. Showed him a picture of what we wanted, it was texted to us, but he couldn't help if we didn't have the part number??? Is there no training for these people that when a person comes in the store in person there is no one who can find anything without the app or their phone? Also, it was so hot in this store, Arvada store on 52nd & Wadsworth, no air conditioning at all. No knowledgeable employees. I will NEVER come back to this store & I will tell everyone I know to go to Home Depot always, before they ever consider Lowes.
