BY FAR THE WORST COURIER OUT THERE! The reviews for this company are very deceiving and it is because they are PAID 5 STAR REVIEWS. The company (if one can call it that) is an absolute joke. They have caused me more than £600 damages last month because of lost parcels. Some were delivered to different locations, others never at all and other are ''Pending delivery in the next working day'' but nothing happened for more than a month now. When you try to find a solution or make a complaint by calling them, you will never be able to speak to an actual person, only computers who guide you through a process without result, wasting your money and time! AVOID LIKE THE CORONAVIRUS IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY!

Returned a parcel on 15th December. Tracking still stuck on 17th,can't get hold of anyone,seller will not respond,Amazon no help and all Hermes have is a robot. All I want is my money back. Disgraceful service from all the companies involved

Lost two packages in one month as they say deliverd they is nothing I can do... where I purchased from says get a letter from Hermes and I'll help you out. HERMES won't respond to emails or resolver. Wow. 135 comp part and a 7 pound medical supply. Avoid at all costs. I don't have things sent by Hermes now but unfortunately when you buy something sometimes sellers will use herems. Terrible services. I have cctv to prove no drivers been to mine but their out of date gprs. Is all they listed to.

f I could give a 0 star I would. I had a parcel collected from myself on the 7th December, no further tracking update, so made an enquiry on the 11th December, no reply but tracking updated 12th Dec to say on way back to sender (me being the sender) no further update since then, no help on the phone, their online "Holly" is no help as they haven't bothered to look into my enquiry so can not get an update on there, twitter Hermes have just ignored and Facebook you delete all my comments asking for help!!! As it was my brother and his partners gift inside I had to reorder all their gifts and resend (used royal mail, funnily it all arrived fine with them) no doubt you'll ignore this too... AVOID THIS COMPANY!! They keep losing my parcels. Their service is not reliable. They failed to provide real information and very poor customer service. My first parcel that I sent last December wasn't delivered to the recipient. I was chasing this but I was told there was no update yet from the depot. It took a month for them to come back to me, only just to say that they lost it and that my item is not eligible for claim. I should have learnt my lesson but no, I still used their service to send another parcel and instantly regret it! it's been almost a month now, the tracking is not updated (they said they have problem with the tracking system - which they never fixed). I was even told that the parcel was due for delivery last 15th of January, but my customer didn't received it. I was chasing this delivery but there's not update at all. I was asked to wait another 7-14 days! It's ridiculous! Their poor service resulted negative impact to my small business. I will never ever use this company again. They don't care about your parcel. Very rubbish customer service. I'll switch back to Royal Mail/ DPD.

My parcel was left propped up against the front door in full view of any passer by. How can this be considered a "secure place". I feel compelled to leave this review because, despite lodging a complaint and being assured it would be taken up with the relevant manager, the same thing happened again this afternoon. Whatever happened to posting a card through the door when no one is home!

Nightmare company.Sent an international parcel two months ago.Never got further than national sorting hub.They admitted they could not find it and told me to claim as it was insured which was then turned down because it takes 8 weeks for int parcels to return.waited until 8 weeks then cannot claim because they closed the claim.no one to talk to and they dont reply to emails...now having to sue them for the lost parcel.You have been warned. ps i only gave one star because zero is not an option.

They are jokers - lost item , don’t care and Then said item was damaged no proof think they just make it up e Avoid use Royal Mail - might be a pound or two more but we should drive this “company “ out of business

Lost the item - Dreadful customer service. I returned a set of roof racks and used Hermes which I bitterly regret. Only the box of attachments managed to get returned to the seller and these were damaged. The roof bars are still no where to be seen.I have raised the issue numerous times with them since they were posted on December 8th and they still have not responded. I took out the insurance but that clearly seems pointless if they don’t even acknowledge you! Lamentable.

Was waiting for my parcel as I had been sent an email from Hermes with a time slot, I kept checking my door step, I happen to look up the street and I recognized the van the passenger exited the van placed a parcel on a neighbours doorstep, he then looked down the road saw me and ran back to the van, I then received a blurred picture saying package had been delivered, this is a new delivery driver so I have to question if these are trustworthy.......This was an expensive parcel.

Told my brand new sofa had been delivered when it hasn’t! Just moved into a new build flat I’m severely disabled and wheelchair reliant. My flat is right at the car park on the ground floor and I am not in a close it’s a main door entry. The sofa cost me all my money and it was only £250 but because of my illness and disability I am unable to work I have no savings nothing. I also have absolutely no furniture except for my electric wheelchair and hospital bed. I have been sitting in a big empty house since before Christmas. Finally I got money together to afford to pay for the sofa. I have been repeatedly emailing the seller and warning that I don’t want a refund because I have zero money left and I want my parcel. Hermes has lied to me. Because no one came to my door. I was excited about the delivery and looking out for it. I also needed assistance because I am in a wheelchair. Hermes is dreadful! And customer service is non existent! It’s a shambles! They are smart enough to have no customer service because they probably were tired of constantly receiving complaints!!! A shocking excuse for a delivery company. Apauling lack of care. The only customer service is a stupid robot. Disgusting and I am gutted left with no sofa furniture or anything. Avoid this delivery service if you can. Cant fault the delivery team they do their best. Try to get in touch, it seems it’s ok to communicate with a robot??? No live chat, asked for parcel to be delivered to a neighbour, message back, they will contact me in the next two days, what good is that, in the meantime they send parcel back to supplier??? I re arranged with yodel for another delivery, delivered next day with live tracking, that’s how it’s done my Hermes, you are living in the dark ages. I would prefer to pay a little more fir a lot better service

Absolutely awful service, they have never managed to successfully deliver a parcel to me. They didn't knock the door or ring the doorbell, and then have made false claims to have delivered the parcel, without filling in the delivery slip, and taking a blurry photo of the "delivered" parcel. Complete lack of effort to deliver, they really don't care about customers one bit. Avoid like the plague.

Cannot find local stores, put postcode in to be asked to put a full post code. Only lived here for 20 years, I think I should know it by now. Tried phone no from various sources, all I get is yes no question and then good bye. I read some of the reviews, and most point in the direction of avoid. It looks like I have dodged the bullet as I cannot even find a local parcel shop. I agree with some of the reviews Chat and phone no are waste of time! To the person who managed to speak to someone needs a medal. On the up side we must have a one off delivery man as he is friendly and polite

Disgusting level of incompetence, my parcel was delivered to the wrong address and when enquired as to where it was the response was..our GPS shows the right street and a lady took receipt of it and yet the photo of "delivery" is a random hallway I don't recognise . So hermes...who was this women? Did your driver confirm I even lived at the address you took it to? What was her name? No of course your driver did nothing of the sort and your only response is to check with neighbours. Well duh wouldn't be leaving this review if my neighbours had it would I. Do not trust this company. They do not care about customer service or care about you losing money.

I paid extra for next day delivery and product guarantee. I posted before 12 noon Tuesday and it still hadn't arrived 1pm Thursday. I tracked the item it said it was being returned to me. I phoned customer service and spoke to Christine who said they had made a mistake at the hub and processed the delivery back to me and to wait and see if the tracking had not updated in 24-48 hrs it was definitely being returned to me and Hermes would refund the postage that I had paid and I would have to try to send again. No compensation was given. This is unacceptable, the item was urgent hence the need for posting as next day now it has already taken 3 days and I don't even know where my parcel is. A COMPLETE UNORGANISED SHAMBLES.

For the second time, my parcel has been delivered at a wrong address. There is no one I can speak to and the virtual help is ridiculous because it is of no help at all. The image of the address where it was delivered is not clear. I cannot find the parcel. Hermes is a disaster delivery service and I do not advise anyone to use it. We understand that a parcel can be delivered to an incorrect destination, but I do not understand the fact that we cannot speak to anyone regarding the matter. The customer service is putrid.

Avoid them at any cost. They don’t deserve the 1 star, but this is the only way to write a review. It is the worst possible courier you could imagine. It is impossible to speak with anyone, they have no phone lines. No customer care at all. They have lost an item of £250 that was for return. I took an insurance with Hermes, which they are not paying . Effectively I have lost £250 and there is nothing I can do about it.
