As per usual, always something up with a Hermes delivery. Claimed to have attempted delivery today for 21:00 and now they claim there has been an issue. Can never speak with anyone at customer service either. I WILL STOP SHOPPING WITH COMPANIES THAT USE HERMES DUE TO THEIR CONSTANT UNRELIABILITY.

Very bad service,driver can't bother to deliver .Worst ever delivery service.If a company uses Hermes I avoid ordering from them .Big ZERO.

They sent email on APRIL 18th to tell me they had received my parcel from a garden centre, and that it would be on its way. Tried the "virtual assistant" - that was surreal and, of course, fruitless. They really should have a zero stars rating category, as 1 is far too generous. I hope they are still watering my plants twice a day in the Hermes parallel universe.

Awful. Unreliable. Lost my items. Lied and said it was delivered and signed for. No contact number. Nobody to help. Left feeling hopeless. The absolute worst.

I was expecting an parcel from Holland&Barrett on Mandey I received an message for delivery time 5 minutes before the time end I received email :successfully delivered ) but no body come to deliver .I did contacted the seller they arranged new delivery for Wednesday the same thing happened again I never got that parcel . On Saturday I received an parcel from eBay delivered by Hermes the parcel was open on the side to check what is in there when they seen there's just glovs they delivered it . I never hed any problem before receiving my parcels with other delivery company .Same day I received delivery from Royal Mail no problem at all

Everytime I have anything delivered by Hermes there is a problem. They either claim nobody was in (when I've been there all day), leave an almost indecipherable note, leave it anywhere in the front of the house that they feel like (which is open to the road) or flat out lie that they have left a parcel through the letterbox when it is too big to fit in a letterbox! Seriously the outright WORST delivery company ever. Completely useless, lazy and inept.

Hermes damaged a parcel and we can't contact them for the insurance: I sold an item to a customer using the app DEPOP, who booked the Hermes delivery themselves. The item got collected from my address and never got to the buyer. We checked the tracking service and it said that on April 24th the parcel got damaged and wasn't delivered. Today is may 24th and we still have not been contacted. It's been a month since the damage. No one has said a word and there's no way to fill out s complaint and get the money back. There's no way to directly speak to an agent and make a complain, as Hermes/Depop should refund the buyer for the damage.

Waited in all day (Saturday), put a note on the front door where parcel would be if we were out. Still not collected by 5pm. We were all in when my son noticed a Hermes missed collection card in the hall. Courier didn’t knock and didn’t see the rather large note that I left right next to the letter box where she posted her card through!

5 days ago I paid for 3 parcels to be collected the following day as I am not only one of the shielded but also unable to drive at the moment. So disappointed to still have my parcels here. My son keeps asking if his is on its way. I have to keep saying no not yet. Now it is a Bank holiday Monday. Will not be using this home collection service from Hermes again.

Had problem with a parcel so nipped in the depot at plympton hoping they could answer my question I never entered warehouse I stood outside and a young man scruffy mousey hair with a jacket with fire warden on it looked at me I went to speak and the rudeness was unbelievable he shouted that he wasn't going to help and walked away it was truly unreal

Hermes advertise their customers service team as awesome....in reality they have a script based chatbot called “Holly” who is programmed to answer only one question!!! Useless!!!!

Hermes is by far the worst courier service i have ever heard of. i purchased something from HIGH ST tv and when i needed to send it back i went on the web site paid for the item to be picked up but because i dont have a printer the driver told me i need it printed with a bar code i told him i dont have a printer. even though i had already paid he refused, trying to get in touch with hermes is impossible they have no phone number in which to contact them and if they do it cuts you off. when i booked for my parcel to be picked up i was supposed to of been given a Q R number but i never had one in my email so not only could i not send it back via the parcel service i couldnt take it to the shop for it to be picked up. i have managed to find an email of the chief executive to make a complaint and looking for the q r number or refund. so anyone buying something make sure the company you purchased off dont deal with hermes

This has to be my worst experience ever, Received an email that my parcel was with them on Sunday 17th 1 week later still haven't received parcel can't get speaking to anyone dreadful service never will use this company again.

Claiming failed delivery attempt when they didn't come near our house. There I thought Hermes had improved their service slightly over the last months. Maybe not. I have been at home yesterday and today the entire time. Yet, Hermes claims they made two delivery attempts. Interestingly one at 11:32 pm and another at 12:32 am (an hour later) the next day. Their staff doesn't cope with the work and just mark attempted delivery at night. On a different occasion, I was returning an item using Hermes. Never again. They tried to deliver to the business ONCE after 7:30 pm. As the business was closed at that time they decided that they couldn't deliver to that address and are returning the parcel to me. I'm gobsmacked by their amateur service.

Delivery of plants delayed over the bank holiday. They arrived, dead. Planned delivery for yesterday, now not arriving as planned despite staying in all afternoon. Will have to wait until after Bank Holiday for my items but no explanation. Dreadful service. Would NOT recommend.

The parcel I sent was stolen by your company Hermes International. I am angry as I feel the parcel I sent to France as a special gift has been stolen by your company . No attempt was made for delivery, on tracking it showed “in depot” in France and it was not even attempted to deliver. It was a big parcel so impossible to get lost . Had 7 or 8 live chats ( impossible to talk to a human ) with always the same robotic message “ will be delivered by tomorrow “ and yet nothing, one month later . Quite simply you are thieves
