“After finally finding my parcel on my roof I realised it was damaged. How they can still be aloud to run as a buisness is beyond me!”

“I was expecting a customs duty paid parcel from the US - an item purchased on Ebay. I received an email from Ebay saying that it had been delivered at 18:12 (that precise!) on 13th Dec. Problem was, it hadn't. I then started proceedings through Ebay - not easy! Then, on 14th Dec the parcel arrives. Hermes had lied to Ebay that it had been delivered causing me lots of aggro. Not impressed.”

“Never again will I use this company, I have used My Hermes quite often in the past and had no trouble, I cannot get hold of a person to speak to, various telephone numbers I've tried and they are outdated, can't get the answer I want from Holly the didgitel answer machine,as you can only answer questions she puts to you! I've tried canceling my order and refund and cant get that, I've put in Reference numbers- ID numbers-Tracking numbers. I have given up.”

“The supplier of my product can’t tell me when it will arrive because Hermes the muppets won’t tell them, the parcel has been sat in one of their depots for two weeks now (4th December) and the only information they give is they are arranging to deliver in the next 48 hours, we’ll their 48 hours seem to be a lot longer than normal”

“Really bad delivery service, when it's hermes u always hoping will you get your parcel and how long it goona take to get. Waited for 2weeks, parcel was demaged with courier, came week after left outside my doors, never rang or emailed to tell me what delivery was there.”

“Apparently Hermes delivered my mum's parcel on 1st December and left in a safe location... My mum provided no safe location and was at her property all day on the expected day of delivery. Now trying to locate where they have delivered it is prooving to be more difficult. They are unhelpful. I absolutely hate this company and they are known for their shocking services. I'm gutted that Amazon are using them more as i have deliveries expected today from Hermes. Lets see if they deliver it! I honestly don't know how this company is still going. Always think twice before pressing "buy" if your parcel is going to be delivered by Hermes!”

“Paid my money £10+, courier was due to collect 5 December. Waited in for over a week and finally took it myself to a parcel shop. I gave it the one star for actually processing the payment! No means of contacting, all automated. Had 2 deliveries during the week but neither courier would take my parcel.”

“They are unreachable. Try to contact them, I challenge you. I already had 5 damaged parcels this week and can't contact anyone to claim for them. They only have the chat robot online and on the phone as well.”

“I received an email from Hermes saying my parcel was delivered at 11.02 to my neighbour. At that time I was sitting in my front room with a clear view of my front door. I did not see the driver attempt to deliver my parcel and did not have a card put through my door. My next door neighbour did not take in my parcel???”

“Hermes are brilliant. I sent a parcel to my daughter and son in law and it arrived in less than 24 hours. The price was half the cost of the post office, I will always use Hermes in the future.”

“Where to start.... You always hear about courrier horror stories then it happens to you. Sent a parcel on Tuesday 08/12 for next day delivery and paid almost 9 quid. Got picked up from the store on Wednesday for delivery on Thursday 10/12. Delivery day ce and went so rang Customer services. "sorry our offices shut at 4pm" by some automated system. Shocking. Rang them the next day and hung on for 1 hour till I got put through to an actual human. Got the run around but they changed their story one a threatened legal action. After all that I was told I would get a refund for the next day delivery failure... Yeah right. Long story short the parcel arrived Sunday 13/12 and was found in the garden bedding plants. Contents smashed to bits. Limited edition statue which was in its own box inside a bigger box packed with packing peanuts. Almost like some elephant had taken a roll over it. Avoid these circus clowns at all cost. If I could give 0 stars I would.”

“They are like Herpes, not Hermes! Drivers think it is ok to leave parcels on front doorstep in full view of the street for anyone to help themselves! I now avoid like a Covid to buy from ebay vendors that use Herpes, same with other retailers out there!”

“I'm sure this happened to you as well. Got that sweet notification that your item has been delivered, go to your door and nothing is there. Go on their tracking system, there's a bad picture of your door snapped by the driver, a message saying delivered and signed for. And nothing. And then... Nightmare. If you want your item delivered, use another company. If instead you are looking to donate your parcel to a driver, by all means, go on and use Hermes. I can't believe this company is getting away with such a dishonest practice. We should press on Amazon, EBay vendors and other UK retail companies to stop using their "service". They fooled me not once, but twice. And reading reviews here... Wow.”

“Said my parcel had been delivered, but it was not. Claimed it was with a photo of proof of delivery which was black and blank. When contacted I said it had not been delivered and had obviously been dropped off at another address. As I am the only house with a unique postcode don’t understand how they could get confused and said it possibly was sent to another house with same name but slightly different postcode in the village. Still they said parcel had been delivered. Impossible to deal with and would not recommend. This is the third time I have had a problems with them and will not use anyone who uses this company fir their deliveries. Guess it’s goodbye parcel.”
