“The worst customer service of any online company I have ever dealt with!
I sent my parcel with dimensions and took photographic evidence as advised of the parcel, consignment number and tape measure only to be charged an additional £66 on top of the £35 I paid for the parcel to be sent.
I sent all of the evidence they requested, asked them to put in the figures in their own website to see the results they get and finally asked for a member of senior management to contact me by phone to resolve the issue to be told that they have no outgoing lines!
An absolute shambles and total waste of my time over 3 months, I eventually had to go through my credit card company to get my money back. Once again, they challenged the claim but the credit card company, who I was able to be speak to in person, could see that I had provided all of the evidence and they had supplied none so found in my favour and this morning, 4 months after I sent the goods, I have received a credit on my credit card for the additional £66.
In my eyes this is bullying from the business who expected me to just go away and forget about it. They messed with the wrong person.
I suggest they fix their algorithm before many other customers get stung the same way they tried to sting me!”
“Parcel collected on 7th December and was due for delivery by 23rd at the latest. It took 9 days to get from northwest to London then sat going nowhere til 26th, thanks parcel compare, it was a Christmas parcel to loved ones in Australia we haven’t seen for over 2 years! It’s now 1st January and it still hasn’t been delivered, and no tracking update since it left London in 26th. Parcel co late have no clue where it is, or if and when it will ever be delivered. Total rip off and scam. Customer service completely useless. Absolutely heartless!

“Having destroyed a parcel sent to the USA - insured for £900, they are refusing to accept any liability whatsoever. Someone had literally used this parcel as a football. It had also been tampered with en route. To then blame the customer saying it hasn't been packaged appropriately, despite having sent 15 photos of the packaging and the damage, is appalling. Never EVER use this company to send anything of value. I am now going through the Postal Redress Service and will be starting a legal claim against them for breach of contract and compensation. Save yourself the pain, the expense and the time - use ANY other company than this one”
“Scam. Booked this in a hurry. Foolish. Said no one home when they came to collect parcel. Not true. They did not arrive Want to charge £6 to cancel collection. Can’t find number anywhere to call direct. That tells you everything.”

“SHOCKINGLY BAD AND NO SERVICE WAS EVEN ATTEMPTED AFTER TAKING MY MONEY. NEVER AGAIN!! Dropped parcel off at locker as requested. Was told my parcel was to be delivered following day. 7 days later, ended up contacted the people who run the lockers to find parcel had been looked at and LEFT IN THE LOCKER!!!!!! No contact other than an automated chat etc. Company to collect was HERMES supposedly but no luck there either.
Collected parcel from locker myself exactly as left in the first place. Ended up using parcel force. WILL NEVER USE PARCELCOMPARE OR HERMES AGAIN. Fraudulant company. I'm a total of £31 out of pocket now but at least I know my parcel will be delivered.”
“PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS SHODDY EXCUSE FOR A SHIPPING COMPANY. I paid this outfit £136.77 to ship some item to Malta. 1 week later the goods were returned back to me with an explanation. I never received an email, a phone call or a letter to let me know the goods were been returned. They never left the country. I had to contact this company David Davis
ParcelCompare Escalation Team, for them to tell me that the goods failed an x-ray so they have been returned back to me, also “ All returns are chargeable as per our terms and conditions because the carrier applied the return fee to our account hence we have no other choice than to forward the charges to you. We will confirm the return fee soon.“, how can I be charged a return free when they never delivered the goods in the first place?

“Truly avoid this company I was charged an extra £47 taken straight from my account the same day as I got an email telling me my parcel was overweight, I weighed it twice and added 1kg just in case, after hours trying to find a phone number (that doesn’t exist) I emailed them, they blamed ups, they asked me for unrealistic proof like a photo of the parcel with a tape measure next to it 🙄 I asked for the paperwork from ups saying it was overweight and got back (after having to ask more than once) an email from them with ups heading and because of “confidentiality” everything was blanked out apart from some numbers that meant nothing, I can’t believe this can even be legal, and from the reviews they do it most of their customers if not all of them, I will complain to ups and ask for their paperwork, and explain how this company is making ups look like scammers,it’s not the money so much as the unbelievable liberty of going into your bank account and taking money with no prior notice, i will spread through out social media (an anyone who will listen) how parcel compare scam innocent people out of their hard earned money, and I urge everyone who’s gone through this to do the same, this is definitely not over 😡😡😡😡”

Don’t be sucked in by the cheap online quotes they give you for any courier services
These figures will undoubtedly go up when they charge you for false weight charges. These extra charges will be debited without your consent and then they will ask you for photographic proof to substantiate your weight and dimensions that you used for your quote which you probably won’t have. LIKE US
We have had to cancel our card now to stop them from being able to keep passing these charges on.
My parcel also arrived completely smashed up and then they have charged me return charges but won’t pay any compensation for the damage they have caused.
Unbelievable how this company is still trading.

“DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I had 2 parcels sent from the UK to Australia. Only one arrived - Parcelcompare denied having even collected the 2nd and fobbed me off again and again. No number to call. 35 emails later (literally) and being passed from person to person I finally then gave up chasing and instead asked for a refund for the 85 quid I'd paid for the parcel to be sent. Funnily enough they found the apparently nonexistent parcel within 2 days. I've never worked with a worse organisation, avoid them like the plague!”
“Needed to send an endoscope for repair in Italy and booked it "2 day delivery" with TNT, through Parcelcompare on October 13, 2021. Carrier was TNT, which arrived on 13th October with a FedEx Labelled van and collected my parcel. Today is December 2, 2021, My parcel still has NOT delivered. Tracking on TNT website only shows as "Shipment in Transit". (Fedex Tracking number is 785907384) Parcelcompare keeps sending me the below email every week:

I am extremely dissatisfied with their service, but even after 1.5 months passed, I am still hoping to retrieve my item.

This company called FASTLANE are nothing but middle men who front that they are a service but they do absolutely nothing. Do not part with your money as they do not deliver anything and when it comes to the day do not turn up! I had to chase them for only to find out they knew a week earlier that the shipping was not taking place. They have such bad reviews they are now calling themSelves PARCELCOMPARE!! I used this service to find the safest and most price competitive delivery cost for a parcel I had to return. I took out the offered insurance as the product was a high value item. The item was delivered smashed despite fully packaged with padding and fragile warnings.
When claiming on the insurance taken out through the company I was refused based on an irrelevant reason. I disagreed at which point they used another irrelevant reason for rejection of claim. At this point it felt they were clutching at reasons not to pay out.
Despite saying I could appeal, when asked for details of how to do this I have been ignored on multiple times. I have tried to escalate and am being totally ignored by the company including the CEO despite sending emails and letters which I can see have been received and signed for. I am now trying to figure out how I can escalate this to an external body as am currently over £300 out of pocket. So upset and disappointed not to mention frustrated. Please avoid this company!”
“Having read some of the reviews on this sight, I have to report that Parcelcompare have tried the same overweight/oversize scam on us. UPS were the carrier and the tracking information revealed no mention of an audit. We were able to provide photographs of the package and the weight but Parcelcompare refuse to accept it as proof. I’m reporting this to Trading Standard as fraudulent trading. I would strongly recommend anyone not to use this company and to take the time to report them if you find yourself in a similar position”
“Just like everyone else really please AVOID this company, we sent a parcel back to a bathroom supplier in its original packaging, unopened as we realised it was too big for our bathroom, they now say UPS didn’t even attempt to deliver as the parcel was damaged due to poor packaging!! We have proofs that it was well packaged in a wood crate with photos and emails from the supplier, they on their side have not provided any proof and it’s just what someone says!! We even purchased additional insurance which seems to be another scam. We are going to the small claim court out of principle, they are scamming people constantly”
