Having purchased a 4 seater, three seater and a snuggle chair in italian leather paying well over 3,500 we were advised to take the care plan out against accidentally damage. Three and a half year later, the leather is cracking on one seat, scratch mark and a small scuff mark probably by the hoover. On phoning was told these are not accidents as I didn’t report them when they happened even though I didn’t see them until I was doing a clean care on the furniture. Argued with company, they sent a technician out who sent a report back still no joy but the technician told me that where the leather is cracking and the scratch mark if a de fault in the leather they have used and to gel in Touch with scs. This has now been a week trying to call, voice messenger saying they will phone me back. I ll let you know what happens once someone reply’s if any.

I bought a leather sofa lMay 2023costing £3000.Took out insurance on it and in June of this year my son noticed a small patch was peeling on seat.As I had taken out insurance I contacted the company Castelan explaining I had no idea how this came about as my son was the one that noticed it, I am 72 and eyesight not what it was only to get a reply that they couldn’t help .I then contacted SCS and was told that I would have to pay £75 for a technician to come out inspect the sofa. A nice gentleman came and produced a white cloth and wiped the seat which the cloth did show dirt on it as because of the peeling I had not cleaned that area since the fault was pointed out to me and SCS are now saying the sofa was not properly maintained in keeping with their instructions on cleaning it. I carried out the maintenance of my sofa to the exact instructions on the booklet and I strongly dispute their findings and I am now seeking legal advice on this matter. I have used this company a few times before but never again.

This company has really gone south. I ordered a chair 3 months ago that wouldn't assemble correctly. After 2 months, they sent a repair person out, who confirmed that it had a manufacturing fault, but still haven't resolved my issue. 3 months later and still no working chair. You have to chase them at EVERY stage. Absolute nightmare.

We tried a sofa at the Harlow branch with fibre cushions which is exactly what we wanted we were charged an extra £100 and when the sofa arrived it had hard foam cushions on it which apparently what we paid for. Then we were told the foam cushions were on it when we tried it. I may be early 60,s but I'm in no shape or form stupid. They are still denying it. The best thing about the service was the delivery men. Never again our 2nd bad experience. Give them a wide birth.

Not worth one star! So to cut a long story short, a survey came out to my property and wrote on this report my carpet is faulty as it has come apart in places, the customer is owned a like for carpet to be replaced as I'm still under warranty, and have only had my carpet down for less then a year! The warranty covers faulty goods as it also states on the government website any faulty products customers are entitled to a replacement or refund. Especially when I'm covered under my warranty, the warranty on scs policy also states this to. But my case with the after care team do not follow the warranty policys nore do they follow any policies! They have refused to give me a replacement a like for like of my carpet. Even when the report started it. And have decided to take it apon themselves to close my case, knowing full well what it states on my report, so I've requested my freedom of information of that report and I'm taking it further. As you can not argue with the report what it states in it. And my rights as a customer under the government act laws and my warranty. Scs seen to take money off you and refuse to handle customer services. If you were to go elsewhere and pay for something that was faulty you are well in your rights to get a refund or exchange. So scs is NO DIFFERENT!!!!

We brought lazy boy chair and sofa arrived in February by June the seat on the chair had collapsed down needing a cushion on the seat to be able to sit on ,a chap came out and said they would replace the seating part of the chair a few days later an email said it would be 12 weeks for this to happen by which time our very expensive lazy boy chair would be 7 months old 🤷🏻‍♀️ When we rang to say we either wanted a new replacement chair or a refund a very unhelpful man said it has to have a problem within 30 days 🤔🥴 for either of these things to happen and it was a take or leave it offer for it to be repaired to say I’m totally disappointed and equally disgusted is an understatement

Settee worked good until manual… Settee worked good until manual recliner broke, We paid £300 at the time of purchase for insurance protection. It only covers fabric, nothing else. I would of not took the policy if I knew it was very limited. Just be careful folks, only putting this review up so others don't get caught out

Brought a carpet from Colchester scs store I’ve had it 5 months no shoes worn on it and it’s gone clumpy only too be told it’s the way we walk on it what a joke disgusting and with warranty for a year no one has come out too look at it will never buy anything from scs again

We have 2 sofas from SCS. It's Vito2 2 seater and 3. Recliner. Leather. We noticed after a month that the arms are wrinkled and baggy. They sent a guy out to inspect them. He agreed that they were faulty. Looks like a lack of padding in the arms. Emirea disagreed and said no fault. Just the leather stretching ???We spent over £5,000 on these setees, what will they look like after a year ?? Not satisfied with SCS avoid.

Lovely carpet but the carpet fitters had no respect for my newly painted and papered walls . There was black marks up the stairs and my lounge paper was scuffed in 2 places . Called in store to complain and the operation manager hasn’t even called me back. For this reason I wouldn’t bug from them again

I would never give any stars. Head office very rude they even put the phone down on you. My sofa arrived last week not the colour I ordered phoned straight away, they argued with me say that's the right colour on the order. I told them its grey not beige the colour I ordered. I was told that's the colour not down to them. So rude these people. First time I've bought from them never again. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. I am asking for the colour I want they won't even change it.Disgusting service.

Wow what a shambles of a sofa. I bought my mother in law a new sofa from SCS to try and cheer her up after the loss of her son, this was a year after her loss. She chose a sofa which had back support and no scatter cushions as she is 70 now, bless her. The sofa received was not in anyway the same sofa in the showroom. The cushions where all soft and when you sat on them you sank into the sofa up to the point where you can feel the springs. I'm 12 stones, so imagine her heavier guest. My poor mother in law didn't let me know as she knows how busy I am running my three business so time pasted by. When I did visit months later I sat on the sofa and everything came out. I saw that one of the cushions is damaged and not coming back up into position and I could feel the springs. All the rest but one where not fit for purpose and all where not filled to what the showroom sofa had. The stuffing wasn't done correctly, the exact words from the senior technician from Emeria. Emeria is the company employed by SCS do do there reports and repairs. This is the second visit and still to this date no sympathy or compassion from any of there customers service staff. They are rude, unprofessional, no sympathy no compassion and there's words are always the same, they need to do a repair. The technician has clearly stated that these sofa has not been made correctly and it would need to be repaired which will be impossible due to the whole sofa needing reupholstered and the stitches will never ever match up, the stitching isn't matching up as it is. I have gone back to the Beckton store where I bought it and they have informed me that the company SCS has been sold and taken over by an Italian firm and that I have till the 14 August to get this resolved. The manager and deputy manager don't care also. They have told me to wait as they have emails internally and apparently SCS hasn't gotten back to them. Humm.. I strongly believe that SCS is only procrastinating on this huge fault on this sofa so they don't have to be liable for it after the 14th August, what a cheap trick. I have been told that a Emeria will come out and do a repair five calls later still no date for a repair. They have mentioned to me that I didn't inform them within 30 days. These problems arose a few months into the purchase of the sofa. So basically the sofa has only lasted a few months and we have just been robbed of 2K. tut tut.. So basically don't buy from SCS as you won't get what you see and feel in there showrooms. Terrible customer service and don't waste your hard earned money with them. There is plenty of other companies out there who will take care of you all.

Everything went wrong from delivery to being LIED to in store about quality of material.. .asked for hard-wearing settee after only 4 weeks settee bobbled to be be totally dismissed by this company and spent £4000 DO NOT TRUST OR BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!! The heartache caused is unbelievably unacceptable.

Put our order for new carpet 4 months ago was told the fitter would phone to give us a time for the 14 June no phone call got in touch with SCS not interested they just wanted to give me the phone number of the fitter keep well away

Ordered and payed deposit for 2 sofas at the beginning of January, 6 months later I still have no sofas!!!! Just get emails saying yet another delay!!! SCS are taking people's money and they do not have the goods to supply!!!! I will be going into the store today and demanding a refund!!! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY, THEY HAVE NO STOCK , JUST TAKE YOUR MONEY!!!!

Very rude l asked to put over half the cost of the settee down as a deposit and pay the rest off monthly and was quite abruptly told no so l left

Leather of our SCS leather sofa is cracking and peeling off, it’s just 8 years old but SCS are refusing to help or do anything for the poor quality material that they have used.

I bought two sofas that were of really poor quality when received a lot of money but very unhappy costumer please be careful don't waste your money sofas are unsafe and damaged scs won't replace them

After 4 attempts to repair over 6 months they finally decided to give me a a full refund..only after leaving me with no sofas to sit on for over a week.I had to constantly phone to find out when I was getting a refund..had enough and finally went down to the shop for my refund only to be told it will take 5 days for for money to go into my account..
