Terrible service and shocking products 8 months old and fit for bin a leather sofas should not be this bad for this age and carpet fitted which is all lifting and is cut to short aviod at all costs.

Thank you for our sofas the guys were nice and helpful as we did not get our care box but it will get delivered soon also our sofas dropped in price and we got a refund thank you so much .

My wife and I bought a la z boy sofa 6… My wife and I bought a la z boy sofa 6 years ago, we were told it had a 10 year warranty and it even came with an a5 card boasting about it's world famous 10 year warranty, as we live in the UK we bought it and waited 3 months for delivery.. The cable that operates its reclining mechanism snapped even though it has light domestic use. SCS didn't want to know and la z boy uk weren't interested either. Luckily as an engineer I ordered the cable on Amazon for next day delivery and spent half an hour fixing it myself. We won't be buying from SCS OR LA Z BOY ever again out of principal. Do not believe their sales blurb... 10 year warranty is BS Lol ... apparently the cable isn't part of the mechanism

Bought a carpet using the fitter recommended and arranged by SCS. Fitter did a bad job and SCS have said not their responsibility. Worse they won't provide me with any of the carpet fitter's details and he's not responding to messages so I can't make any kind of claim against him. SCS just keep shrugging their shoulders ad saying not their problem. Would never buy anything from them again.

If I could give less than 1 star I would! I paid just under £3,000 for a suit that is not fit for purpose! the chairs and the sofa colaps/no support on 1 side when sat on, the technician that came out said it was my fault because of where I sit on the furniture!? How the hell does he know where I sit? he then told me that that's just the way they are made now! cheap and shoddy! his words not mine, I am a pensioner and feel totally ripped off!

Anyone thinking of buying from scs do yourself a favour and stay well clear I purchased a corner sofa and armchair and dinningeroom table and chairs they post delivery date several times when they eventually delivered they fitted the legs back to front on the chairs and when I complained about a fault in the sofa they charone £75 to visit and confirm the fault which happens to be 4 missing springs poorly fitted during manufacturing but refuse to replace cushions damaged due to having no springs benothem they are by far one of the worst companies I have dealt with ever and I was a virgin media costumer for years

Followed around the store and watched making me feel very uncomfortable. Staff interrupting private conversations and then when you speak to them they go into hard sell mode. I walked out after telling a staff member I didn't want the warranty but tried to tell me I needed it.....I highly recommend not going here. Absolutely hate hard sell and the sculking around you.

Went in to buy a recliner chair for my husband. Staff were lovely and we were offered a chair that was in store on a slightly discounted rate. This was because the store was going to be having a refurbishment. We were told that the chair would be delivered on 29/07/2024 which we agreed to. A week or so Later we received an email saying would now be 19/08/2024. We tried to call branch however it’s a central number. We called central number & were told it would be looked into and branch would call us back. Nothing came. I then posted a message on social media and was contacted via DM for details. I provided details and was once again told they would contact me. We are now ten days later and nothing. They are not responding. No one has called or emailed. The chair was ex display & the shop being refurbed for at least two weeks now. I would not recommend. After service is rubbish

Appalling customer service. Sales staff promise the earth, flexible delivery dates to suit me, blahblah. Untrue. Despite several lengthy phone calls to try and arrange suitable delivery, plus a formal complaint sent in writing that has been completely ignored, I ended up having to cancel the order and lost my deposit. Do they give a damn? No! Disgraceful company. Will never shop there again, neither should you - spend your hard earned money somewhere else.

VEEY POOR SERVICE. FITTER SAM HALFORD has cut doors on an angle meaning I can put my hand underneath it and see daylight. One door cut not enough so scraping floor another door the door to the kitchen not cut at all meaning we have not been able to close the kitchen door for 4 weeks and I have a disabled husband. The bathroom door also cam not be shut as not cut either. I have been calling SCS daily and the fitter I have texts from saying he will sort and not. Now saying he has a friend that can sort but now saying his friends on holiday and he will send issues back to SCS so all passing the buck..

If there was a way to give "0" stars, this is what I would pick. ScS have delivered the wrong sofa and are refusing to change it or accept any responsibility. The sofa that they insist that we ordered is so tall that my poor wife's feet don't even touch the floor. Despite visiting the showroom and showing them the one that we had ordered fits my wife and the one that they have delivered does not, they refuse to help and responded with a regional manager says "no" answer. I am a pensioner and this was a considerable some of money which we invested to help my wife's spinal condition. I am furious with their attitude and the absurdity of their insistence that we ordered a sofa that my wife can't get on and off easily. I have written to their customer services department but, consistent with their attitude to their customers, there has been no response. In response to this review a chat bot from ScS replied, said how sorry they were that I was dissatisfied and asked me to phone customer services, which I did. I was held in a queue and told that they would call me back - which they never did.

Really poor customer service. Tried delivering the sofa to the wrong address, despite giving my current address at the start of the order, and also reconfirming during the ordering process. Salesman sold me the wrong sofa initially at an inflated price, then tried to deny it when I checked the order. Delivery now taking much longer than the 8-10 week lead time I was told by the salesman. They only seem interested in commission, not customer experience. Avoid!

Shocking build quality of corner settee. Complained. Engineer came out. He agreed the recliner unit was faulty, so lopsided when you sit on it. The report came back from head office says the Engineer said its fine. LIARS. AVOID

Having purchased a 4 seater, three seater and a snuggle chair in italian leather paying well over 3,500 we were advised to take the care plan out against accidentally damage. Three and a half year later, the leather is cracking on one seat, scratch mark and a small scuff mark probably by the hoover. On phoning was told these are not accidents as I didn’t report them when they happened even though I didn’t see them until I was doing a clean care on the furniture. Argued with company, they sent a technician out who sent a report back still no joy but the technician told me that where the leather is cracking and the scratch mark if a de fault in the leather they have used and to gel in Touch with scs. This has now been a week trying to call, voice messenger saying they will phone me back. I ll let you know what happens once someone reply’s if any.

I bought a leather sofa lMay 2023costing £3000.Took out insurance on it and in June of this year my son noticed a small patch was peeling on seat.As I had taken out insurance I contacted the company Castelan explaining I had no idea how this came about as my son was the one that noticed it, I am 72 and eyesight not what it was only to get a reply that they couldn’t help .I then contacted SCS and was told that I would have to pay £75 for a technician to come out inspect the sofa. A nice gentleman came and produced a white cloth and wiped the seat which the cloth did show dirt on it as because of the peeling I had not cleaned that area since the fault was pointed out to me and SCS are now saying the sofa was not properly maintained in keeping with their instructions on cleaning it. I carried out the maintenance of my sofa to the exact instructions on the booklet and I strongly dispute their findings and I am now seeking legal advice on this matter. I have used this company a few times before but never again.

This company has really gone south. I ordered a chair 3 months ago that wouldn't assemble correctly. After 2 months, they sent a repair person out, who confirmed that it had a manufacturing fault, but still haven't resolved my issue. 3 months later and still no working chair. You have to chase them at EVERY stage. Absolute nightmare.

We tried a sofa at the Harlow branch with fibre cushions which is exactly what we wanted we were charged an extra £100 and when the sofa arrived it had hard foam cushions on it which apparently what we paid for. Then we were told the foam cushions were on it when we tried it. I may be early 60,s but I'm in no shape or form stupid. They are still denying it. The best thing about the service was the delivery men. Never again our 2nd bad experience. Give them a wide birth.
