Teletext said they'd issue a refund by Sept, they didnt, then the beginning of Oct, they didnt. Now they say you need to fill out form for refund (they couldnt tell me that 4 months ago?) but again theres no reply. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THEM.

TT768424 our holiday was cancelled by TT due to Covid and we were due to fly at the beginning of April. Still no flight refund. We have spent hours on the phone lines trying to get through and when we have got through, it has been lie after lie. We were told payment would be made at the end of August. It never was. We were then told by the end of September. It never was. We are still waiting. There has been no attempt to contact us to re-assure us that payment is on it's way. We would never book a holiday with Teletext again. The customer service is disgusting. We are now taking this further.

tt777748 ive been waiting 5 months now for my refund and when I call them they say it will be in your bank by the end of the month I called them today and she said the same thing to me its like there saying what I wanna hear from them and its not on at all im being messed about all the time I call them and they say the same thing to me all the time its not fair that they can do this to people I have emails from the air line and from the hotel saying they have refunded the money back to tt but they cant refund it back to me its wrong if its not in my bank by the end of this month I will be talking them to court small clams court all I want is for them to be honest with me and not keep teling me what I want to hear its wrong what they doing

Absolutely disgusted with teletext customer service we are due to fly to Las Vegas in 5 days time I have emailed them several times and had no response from them what’s so ever to say our holiday is cancelled. We are on local lockdown where I live so obviously can not get to London to fly, gov website states uk nationals are unable to enter USA if they have been here more than 14 days. I have also checked london Heathrow’s departures and it says our flight is still going ahead but the times have changed from what’s on our documents. Livid with this company on how they lack communication. I understand that times are tough and pressure is rising during this pandemic but 5 days away and not heard a peep from them!!!! £2000 is a lot to lose!! Will NEVER book with teletext again also still waiting for the call I got told I would receive two days ago by an employee who fobbed me off!!

booking ref TT769866. yet another lying e mail from teletext holidays stating that airlines and accomodations are not refunding cost of cancelled flights & accomodation , Ryanair refunded full cost of cancelled flight on the 5th of august 2020 to teletext holidays to which we are still waiting for teletext to refund to our credit card. Teletext should not have used there own credit card to make flight booking to ryanair but should have used credit card that we used to make holiday booking. Disgusting ammount of lies from customer support.

Absolutely TERRIBLE customer service. We found out last week from Jet 2 that our flights to Gran Canaria have been cancelled and no-one from teletext has contacted us to let us know. I have emailed them and spent hours on hold with their terrible customer service team and you simply cant get through. They just send you around in circles. If you call to book a new holiday you get through in seconds. DO NOT BOOK!!! They are TERRIBLE - WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!!!!!

TT767296 holiday in June was cancelled due to covid i am still waiting for refund fed up to the back teeth with lies and having phone put down on me. I want my full refund i do not want a credit voucher i do not want to rebook just what is rightfully mine.

Hello darkness my old friend ! I’ve been waiting for a refund since my holiday was cancelled due to covid in March 2020. I have telephoned & emailed so many times I am blue in the face. Ref 782545 I am still waiting for refund. Sick to death of lies being told that money is to be refunded. All staff spoken to have the same story to tell. Money back or I will take you to small claims court. Has anybody been able to contact Julia the company who Teletext work on behalf of, I’ve tried to no avail numerous times. Kathleen Coyne.

Cancelled holiday due to Corona virus. Granted not Teletext fault, however, still waiting for my refund. Ryanair sent me an e-mail on the 24th July confirming that my flights had refunded. I am still waiting for Teketext to send the payment to me. Sent numerous FB and e-mail messages only to be responded with an automated reply. I have just spent 40 minutes on the phone to Teletext waiting to speak to someone only to be answered and disconnected. Stear clear of this company. Quick enough to take your money never ending struggle to get a refund!

Shocking customer service! Still trying to get our money back for a holiday cancelled in may. Please do not even book a day trip with this group of pirates. Worst holiday company I have ever dealt with.

I have tried many times to get through to teletext holidays via calling and emailing and some how end up speaking to someone in India who then passes me to someone else in India and that’s if I actually get through. I have waited on the line for over an hour at times. When I have spokn to people in India they have fobbed me off with lies saying I will hear back from customer service or receive a refund for our £1,178 cancelled holiday Which was supposed to be in July. I was told the refund will be in my account by September as they have had to wait for the airline to release our money before giving us back our refund. I have still have not received it which would be handy right now given the fact we have all suffered with financial problems during covid. I also contacted them in Facebook messenger which was useless but they have since blocked incoming messages. I have also noticed the replies from Teletext Holidays on here to the people complaining are all the same repetitive messages so it would be interesting to know if Teletext follow up any of these comments and If anyone has since been refunded. There must be some organisation who deals with these matters and helps people to get their money back from these scammers. I will never use teletext again. I want my cash refund or I will take it further. They shouldn’t be allowed to get away with robbing people. The chances are they are going bust and simply can’t pay us back. It’s disgusting! Rang to book a holiday after a holiday booked to turkey via jet 2 was cancelled by the way they refunded us immediately. Teletext on the other hand sold us a holiday to Dubai there advisor insisted there was no COVID restrictions as soon as we gave our payment the advisor mentioned we need a PCR certificate to board which was 2 days later so that was impossible we then proceeded to cancel and the delay tactics and customer service advisors constantly disconnecting the call we managed to cancel the flights and contacted the hotel to cancel so now teletext have confirmed the flight and hotel cancellation but don’t want to refund us joke of a company do not book through them ever

I had a holiday booked in May 2020 due to Covid it was cancelled since then I have continuously try to contact teletext and I haven’t got a response and the email in which they sent a voucher is not the full amount I paid and they continue not to reply to my emails, contacting there customer services is a complete joke you can get threw to sales but not one person is answering customer service it’s really a joke.

Booking reference TT786769. Dear Sir, Madam I am writing to you in relation to the afore mentioned package holiday reference. June 2020 I receive confirmation from Telextext Holidays that my holiday to Mitis Blue Domes in Greece, had been cancelled due to the COVID pandemic, we were due to travel on 12/06/2020, from Birmingham Airport. Since June I have become increasingly frustrated with the lack of professionalism and poor customer service from staff in the Teletext call centre. I have sent numerous emails, and spent many hours on hold trying to obtain a satisfactory answer, but to no avail. I have found call centre staff to be lying, when I asked them if they had received a refund from the airline, they told me they hadn’t. I knew this was untrue as I had already liaised with the airline. On 3 occasions staff have terminated the phone call when I began to ask pressing questions. Every time I call I am given a different date as to when I will receive a refund. I was promised this date would have been at the end of September 2020. However upon calling the helpline again today and being kept on hold for 2 hours, I have now been told the refund process will not commence until later! Both my wife and I work in the frontline emergency services. This holiday was meant to be our chance to have a break from the awful year COVID has put on us all. Having our much needed holiday cancelled was hard to, but now having to battle to get what we are owed adds even more stress to this situation. All we want is to be able to rest assured our money will be refunded and given a date of when this will be completed. Pursuant to article 5 of European Regulation (EC) no. 261/2004 I am entitled to a refund of the ticket price in the amount of £‪4029.00‬ I herewith request you to remit £4029 without any delay, but no longer than 14 days to my account number ‪#########, sort code ‪######, account holder Mr A Weller, with payment reference ‘Refund ticket’. If my request does not result in payment of the above-mentioned compensation amount, I will submit my complaint to the relevant supervisory authority and will instruct my legal advisor take legal action if necessary. If the refund is not processed as requested I will be seeking compensation for the full amount plus any interest calculated at the Bank of England base for which I have been unable to accrue due to Truly Travel retaining the funds. If I need to expedite this matter to a county court claim, I will need to confirm your company details. Will you please confirm your ATOL registration number is T7300, and you trade as Truly Travel Ltd? I hope this matter can be resolved without the need for a County Claims Court to be involved. Due to fly in May. TT cancelled it. Partial refund of £188 about two weeks ago. Still haven’t paid the remaining amount owed, still won’t answer the phone, emails, messages or tweets sent to them, still facing rudeness when someone does finally answer the phone two hours later...and the lies! There are an endless stream of lies I’ve been fed, I’m sick of it. Give us back our money please-it is not legally your money. Makes me laugh the phone line still tells you to try live chat via the website...they’ve taken the live chat off so they can avoid customers that way too! I’d seriously suggest anyone thinking of using Teletext...save yourself the headache!

TT766887 hayley whelan. After about 30 calls and emails about my refund of airline fees its been 6 months and I'm still being told its being paid the last email i received was it was 30th sept AND STILL NO PAYMENT the refund department email address i was given isnt accepting emails?? Poor customer service poor way to treat honest paying customers who have worked hard to save up for holidays all year round but cant get our money back just keep getting fobbed off with the same story every time

TT749459 Wow I finally had my customer service call answered after 1 hr 45 minutes on hold the guy took my booking ref then hung up on me, I’m nearly £5000 out of pocket and you people don’t answer calls or return calls from call back requests, I want my money back immediately as it’s fraudulent you illegally holding peoples money, you representative already on a previous call stated the agreement to refund our lost flights had been received and the hotel had confirmed likewise, this is a package holiday so we are protected by atol so I will be contacting them and a small claims court, your company has given no correspondence what so ever the Information I have so far I’ve had to call repeatedly since early August to get even then your staff are vague and very rude. I am so fed up with being fobbed off and lied too, it’s criminal, you haven’t even sent my email of cancellation which I was advised by Jarvis we would receive 30 days after date of travel that date has now past by 10 days..... disgusting
