Booked a holiday to Portugal on the evening of 20th August 2020. Arrived 36 hours later on the 22nd to find our hotel closed up and abandoned. Tried and tried and tried to get teletext to help us. We called on multiple phones but they fobbed us off, hung up on us and even blocked my husband’s Mobile number. 5 days later and still no one from teletext has answered a single email. We have been left high and dry by these thieving shysters and they simply DON’T CARE. A quick email to the hotel teletext booked us into confirms that the hotel closed in March and has never reopened. Please do you own research and book independently. We were sold a complete dud. Nearly £4,000 for a hotel which we could never stay in and left to fend for ourselves by this joke of a ‘holiday’ company.

Nightmare company, had to cancel our holiday due to hubby being diagnosed with cancer & still going through treatment, they still took the full amount from my account and now having a fight to get it back, shocking customer service, very rude and complete thieving liars

NEVER USE TELETEXT #### THEIVES ### SCAMMERS They have failed to notify us of a cancellation and when trying to arrange a refund they disconnect the phone. 3 hours and 7 times disconnected. Each staff member gets ruder and ruder when you try to complain. They state they are busy but when are taking more bookings and answer the booking line within 4 rings. SCAM - SCAM - SCAM NEVER USING TELETEXT AGAIN

We booked an holiday in Feb 2020 to go on holiday in sep the same yr. Covid then struck. My husbands medication reduces his immune system so cant travel. We have tried and tried to contact them to no avail. We want to defer the holiday to next yr. All they want is the full money. We havnt been able to speak to someone. There sending oneway text messages. We will never ever use this firm again. Truly diabolical holiday firm.

Hi, i booked a holiday with you yesterday, i have received my documents to download, which i have but when i go on Easyjet to check in it keeps saying my details are incorrect, i have been on the phone to customer services twice for over an hour each time and no one answers. I put my last name in the box and i have tried with teletext booking ref, i have tried with reservation number and also flight number but no joy, can you sort please, i have also left PM's on Instagram.

Shocking company. Even before covid came along and stopped our trip to Malta this bunch refused to be of any help when I noticed they had booked us into a different hotel that we wanted to stay in as the hotels had very similar names. I called up the hotel myself and they confirmed we would be able to get a full refund from them and called the correct hotel who said they had room for us. A very patronizing Teletext team member told us they couldnt swap as we wouldnt get a refund from the original hotel. I told him he was wrong but he still said there was nothing they could do and that the hotel we were booked in for was perfectly good enough for us anyway. We paid up full at the end of January, the holiday was cancelled a day before we were due to fly out in March. We got a partial refund for the accommodation side of things on 9th of June and then did not receive the flight refund until 19th August. We only got this when we did as I found out that Ryanair had actually refunded a third of the way through July so I had to chase Teletext for it. Their call centre staff do not speak the clearest English, making it very hard work to have a conversation with them. All in all a very unpleasant experience was had with them even without the covid bit being thrown in. I would not use nor recommend this company

Very rude and greedy con artists never book with teletext holidays still no refund should not be in business We should all go to the press and tell people what is going on with this company it is absolutely disgusting how they treat customers and steal there money

Absaloute discrase would never go anywhere near them, phoned about 6 times in the past to be told 3 different dates on refund, then today after being in a que for 50 minutes to ask about a refund again what I've waited 3 months for and at least 50 emails totally ignored to then have the phone put down on you, phone to book a holiday they pick up striaght away. The customer service is dreadful unless you are booking and giving them money then they are all good and can't do enough for ur. My advise stay well clear.

Really poor aftersales service. Be expected to wait on hold for at least an hour just to receive conflicting or incorrect information about amendment or cancellation rights. Emailing seems to be equally pointless. I will never use this company again to book a holiday, stick to the big brands.

I would never recommend this tour operator. They cancelled my accommodation in Portugal and could not offer an alternative hotel. It took me 40 minutes to get through on the phone over 6 calls made and each time to be given conflicting guidance. I Now don’t understand what They provide to the customer. Customer care is 0 please book with a reputable agent or alternatively book yourself.

Have always booked with teletex holidays, never again. Latest holiday due in May to Turkey cancelled. Despite my emails (don't bother trying to call) no joy what so ever. So I've lost my job so don't try to flog me off with hard up stories I know 1st hand.

Teletext holidays you are a disgrace! Holiday cancelled in May due to covid! Was told I would get refund end of July. When this didn't happen I called numerous times and was put on hold for over an hour each time. Finally when someone answered my call I was told end of August. I have very little hope that my refund will be with me by the 31st. You should be ashamed of yourselves. Not going to get many customers returning to your service. Do the decent thing and give us back out monies!! TT781431

Disgusting arrogant call handlers. I have been shouted at by several call handlers and more than a few have tried to bully me into cancelling my holiday knowing that I would lose my money. There callback service is no existent, the information your receive from every call handler is different. They are the worst company I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with.

0 star! This company is a disgrace! Following our decision to move our our holiday to next year due to covid-19 we proceeded to call teletext. After being on hold for a number of hours, everyday for two weeks we finally managed to be put through to someone. Once enquiring about moving our holiday they informed us that we didn't have any luggage booked for our original holiday (this was untrue) and that we would have to pay an additional £500 to add luggage along with the £1700 to move the holiday. And so, we thought it would be best to cancel the holiday due to the amount of extra money we would have to pay to move it. They then assured us that our holiday and flights were cancelled and we would be sent a credit note of £1800 as this was our only option and the only way we wouldn't lose out on all the money we paid for the holiday. However, the confirmation of our cancellation nor the credit note was not sent, and after checking with our hotel and flights we realised that our holiday was in fact not cancelled! We then phoned Ryanair for further assistance as teletext was no help. Ryanair then informed us that teletext did not reserve one of our passengers a seat on the plane with our original booking, despite us paying for all five reserved seats. We have had nothing but trouble with this company and will never use teletext again!

Called 4/5 times over the last week We want to amend our Holiday from flying to Fuerteventura on 8th September but due to FCO advice we are Unable to take 2 weeks quarenteen. All we want to do is is either move this to Another destination or move the holiday to November/December. We’ve called the amendments team at least3 times, who must have a script of some sort as they don’t answer your questions and don’t listen or put you on hold and hang up. What is the point in having an option for an amendments team if all they do is stick you on hold for 45 minutes To tell you they will call you back within 48 hours to see what hotels are available. They say we will receive a call within 48 hours but yet there is still no call. We are allowed to make an amendment up to 10days before according to the sales advisors however if. It gets over this point and we’ve not had a phone call. Why should we lose all our money? Because YOU haven’t called us back. I understand times a hard and your resources have been hit. But if your going to do something. DO IT ! Don’t lie ! And let people down, your messing with good peoples money and good people will return to spend money if the customer service is right . Instead it’s currently damaging your brand. Please give us a call , apparently we are on a priority list and have been reassured for the 3rd time that we will get a phone call back.

The Worst company ever. Incompetent and rude. 20 plus times we have called to move our holiday or exchange to a safe country, as my partner and i can't afford to isolate after our return from lanzarote. EVERY time we call they hang up, or say they will call us back in 24 hours.. they have said that 4 times!!! And not called us . Its obvious they are waiting for us to pay the remaining £800 we have already paid £600 . Then they will keep it and say there is nothing they can do. Even on the calls they answered and cut my partner off he can barely understand the chap onthe phone because of his strong indian accent. When we ask him politely can you repeat that please i idnt catch what you said, he becomes rude!!! I will never ever use them again this is my first time and what a terrible terrible experience we have had. We have been in tears with frustration. We dont want anything but to change till its safe to go and we dont have to isolate on return. Zero stars from us. Olease dont use them let me save you the heartache

T776035 - 15March - Lanzarote Couldn't travel due to FCO advice. Ryanair refunded to TT Holidays, hotel and transfers refunded to TT in June. No refund from TT. Promise the world never deliver - latest position is the promise of a refund by 31August, they have stopped responding to my emails, closed chatlines and good luck if try ringing them. there should be a zero stars option. This company is the pits. Don't say you've passed it to the relevant department because I've heard it all before - no one ever gets a reply from the "relevant" department. You've had my money for 7months - give it back.

Myself and friends had our holiday cancelled due to Coronavirus ,i have had flights refunded from Easy Jet but the trouble i am having getting my refund for the holiday is dreadful,they have taken the balance from my account £1684.90p in Total,i have sent numerous e mails and been on the phone for hours ,We are a group of ladies in our late 60s and the stress is not good ,i just need the refund to pay my friends back TT780239
