Ordered a birthday gift on Thursday and paid for delivery. I was told all through the order would be delivered Friday by yodel. No delivery still and it's now Sunday night. Couldn't give the gift at the birthday. The delivery is models fault but it is so difficult to make a complaint online with very which is why they get 1 star. It would be 0 if it was possible.

Absolutely horrific customer service. Bought American style fridge freezer but realised next day they had wrong product description on website. Called next day (Saturday) to cancel and reorder different product told as despatched couldnt do till Monday. Called Monday told order would be cancelled. Ordered new one and paid again. Called 3 times in next 5 days as original order still showing online so called again, told there were no notes on my account. The guy then tried cancelling my new order. asked for supervisor and got cut off. Went onto website to complain and when went to submit was redirected to log into account again. Tried again and website gave error message. Totally incompetent company would not buy from them ever again

Poor aftersales/customer comeback. There electronics stuff has 12mth guarantee, thereafter not interested. We bought a 55" flat screen tv, for £720 in Jan 2018, so now 1.75yrs old, which has gone faulty. The customer care centre is based in South Africa and don't seem bothered by UK consumer rights act, keeping loyal customers satisfied etc. They've suggested I pay for an engineer to report on TV, then get back to them, so been without TV now 2 weeks and no end in sight. Don't just go by price like we did.... I'd recommend for electronics stuff going elsewhere... John Lewis offer 5 Yr guarantee on tvs as standard, plus by using waitrose (same company) you've ability to return stuff easier. Similarly curry's have stores you can return to! I'm finished with shopping at very!

There customer service is abysmal and they do nothing to help loyal customers out with problems. If you are thinking about joining I would seriously think twice as they are just money grabbers.

Brought a tv from very payed for it been waiting over six months for a code to get it replaced has it broken NOT HAPPY Lost count of phone calls made to the company Mrs Hayes !!!!!

I am absolutely shocked by the interest rate this company has! I am their customer for many years and when they increased my interest rate from 30% to over 50% just because I bought more through their online store, I think it is absolutely disgusting! I paid huge interest because they cleverly hide their activities. I'm almost done paying my £ 5000 limit! I CLOSE MY ACCOUNT AND I DON’T WANT TO HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH VERY NEVER AGAIN !! Grrrrrr

UTTERLY AWFUL, I cannot imagine this company still exists in such a volatile market and where there are so many other alternatives!!! I bought a pram for just over £300 and paid extra for next day delivery to my work place, a company that is open 8am to 8pm every day throughout the week. The carrier Yodel never turned up, apparently left a card, God knows where, he clearly missed our massive GOODS IN somehow. So I phoned up Very-awful- to ask what's happening, they simply refused to speak to me and referred me to their online system, I logged in to raise a return, but their system won't let me and referred me to customer services. I phoned them again they referred me to Logistics, who referred me again to CS. I spent hours between departments. All I wanted to know is: WILL THEY REFUND THE ORDER AUTOMATICALLY SINCE THE DELIVERY HAS FAILED?!! None of the 7 people I spoke to even answered that, apparently it depends on the account. HOW IS THIS EVEN LEGAL IN ANYWAY? They refused to transfer me to a manager or a team leader and their agent eventually hang up on me. Now 2wks has passed and they never refunded the money, not have they replied to my emails regarding the shipment. I am still £300 pound short and don't know how to claim it Definitely the first and last time I use such a rip off company

Disloyalty at its finest. I saw a offer of £100 off on the item page of a pad pro. I input the code at checkout and says it is not valid. I called up and they said they removed the buy now pay later option on my account due to inactivity. I explained to them I have a limit of £10k and have spent thousands over the years and to put the option back on. They Said the automated system has to put it back on and told me to spend some money and see if it comes back after a few months. I said I find this unfair as I have been a loyal customer spending thousands and built my credit limit to £10k. I’ve paid off everything and have full £10k left on my account to spend. Surely you can manually reactivate or a manger can help do this. They had no answer and blamed the system. They said to contact customer service or email them. I did call customer service and they said the same thing. What is the point of emailing if you can’t help over the phone. I asked for procedure to make a complaint. Still no answer. Just saying sorry. Wow. Just wow. Why don’t you remove the offers on the item page and stop misleading your customers. I’m unable to pre order the iPhone 11 and buy a iPad. Thank you very much. Ive bought a £800 fridge from them with a dent and they once gave the wrong laptop worth £700. They gave a little discount on the fridge after calling them up and the wrong laptop they gave was as good as the one I wanted. I still kept spending thousands with them. Took me for a ride. Dumped me in the gutter like trash when it suited them.

Shocking customer service! Set up account today and purchased a set of head phones! Once I did that I called them up straight away to change delivery address to my work address and the customer advisor said I am unable to do this, and I have to cancel my order and re do it! When querying why can’t you amend this the first advisor put the phone done when asking to speak with a manager! The 2nd time I called up I was held on the phone 1 hour and 10mins! With their line manager! As a good will they topped my credit line but £20! When I don’t want to use their credit! And I want to buy the product with my card! Very poor customer service! Have cancelled my order and will buy else where! Do not use very very poor

Would give no stars if possible. Ordered a fridge freezer to go to another address and they didn’t pass information to the delivery company who then would deliver to our other property around the corner. Spent 3 hours trying to sort out but all the staff are incompetent. Don’t shop with them go anywhere else. Cowboy outfit

If I could give 0 stars I would. Tried to order for the 1st time and the web site kept telling me my email was registered (It isnt) called service to be told they cannot help and I must call a premium number to place an order ! What an awful experience , will never try and use again .

Never ordered from very but had an account for a while and decided as I’m having a baby I wanted to order some baby clothes. But my account has my old address on it, so I go to account and the edit address book button doesn’t let me click on it. I ask love chat for help and they want my account number. But on the page where my account number should be it’s blank. So I ask very on Twitter for help. He just tells me to do exactly what I said I couldn’t do -click the edit address book button. He said I can find my account number on my transaction history but I’ve never ordered anything so I have no transaction history. He then says if I register my address with the post office or another service it will update my address automatically. I’m already registered with the post office. Long story short - absolutely not worth my time and all this farting around for a couple of baby grows I can get somewhere else. It’s a shame because there’s some nice stuff on that site but they have absolutely not made it easy for me to get it. Why so hard to change an address???? For the love of god don’t move house if you want to use very 🤣

My mum purchased a bed for me from her Very account, when the bed arrived a lat was already broken ( noticed after erection). My mum called them to explain this and they said they would come and collect the bed ( that me and a friend had already erected), I was unable to dismantle the bed as my friend had gone back home 1.5 hrs away! I replaced the lat and Very gave me a pitiful discount. Well this month the fabric on my £589 bed has come away from the frame and the mirror around the headboard. Very sent a technician to my house who said he could glue it back in place! To me this is unacceptable as the bed is nearly £600, I refused this and I am now being told this is my only option and once they have fixed it if the same should happen again I can request a replacement (I have requested a full refund which I can get if a 2nd repair is not adequate). I refuse to pay nearly £600 for a faulty item which Very have said once it is repaired it is no longer faulty!! If I'm paying nearly £600 for a bed I expect the item to last 10 years at least not 10 measly months..... fuming is not the word when the previous technician has said this is a manufacturing fault. Although the Broadway bed looks beautiful it is poorly constructed and the service you get from Very is diabolical to say the least!!!! I got through to the upholstery team and the woman put the phone down on me because I was not accepting the repair to be carried out (£589 bed to be glued)!!! Even if I allowed the technician to glue my bed ( who actually said he would not accept this repair on such an expensive item himself) to me it would still be a faulty item!!! Beware if you order items from Very that become faulty while still under warranty you only get the option for repair!! No refund or replacement is offered despite your item still being under warranty!!!

DEFINITELY would not recommend VERY to anyone. On 3 different occasions, I have brought from the ‘buy now pay later’, if you don’t pay on time they interest you, which is fine, however.... I payed all 3 payments on time, but VERY still interested me everytime, customer service team may as well give up there jobs as they don’t have a CLUE about there job and what they are advising, and the debt collector team should have a lot more training, because harassing the customer for there money and arguing with them when it’s not the customers mistake is no way to get a debt paid. I will be paying off my account and I will never be using VERY eva again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

if there was a zero star rating, very would get it two broken mirrors, failed attempts to pick up the return as unsafe to take to the post office, still not collected, months now and holding my £40, can very not afford keeping their customers happy amazon can

Enjoy waiting around for deliveries that never turn up? Being given promises that don't materialise? Dealing with customer service staff that couldn't care less? Then I know just the company to give your money to! Ordered an item for 24hr delivery, it didn't turn up. I tried to ascertain what had gone wrong with the customer service team, the best I could work out was that they had simply forgotten to put it on the van..! I rearranged for the following week, you'd imagine that they would try extra hard to get it right on the second attempt, but alas! I had asked for delivery on Wednesday 14th August, they had Wednesday 13th August in their calendar and will be attempting delivery on Tuesday as a result.... I can't even understand how that can happen, surely the calendar system wouldn't allow that date to be entered!? I raised a complaint as I had taken two days off to receive the item and am yet to receive a response Anyway. Avoid at all costs!

AWFUL! Never order from Very. Ordered an expensive wardrobe from them. It arrived in the van damaged! The customer service team said there was nothing that could be done because I was not a credit account customer. They expected me to pay again for the delivery, the delivery charges and wait a further two weeks for it to be delivered AGAIN. Just shocking!! I raised a complaint via the online service and via post. No response. Save yourself the hassle... GO ELSEWHERE. I will never be buying from here again. On arrival, it was damaged
