I have been a customer of Vodafone for 10 years and they show absolutely no respect to loyal customers whatsoever! I rang to renew my contract and see if I could get a new tariff after buying an iPhone 5. After having a long conversation with an agent over the phone and she offered me a nice new price plan with 4g which is what I was after... at no point did she mention that vodafone do not supply 4g to iPhone 5's! By the time I got my phone and transferred the sim over to the new sim I had missed the cooling off period and they refuse to take responsibility for LYING to me about supplying 4g. Its a shame that they think there is "nothing they can do" when really they have the power to treat loyal customers as they deserve to be treated. Instead I have been lied to and tricked into them getting more money out of me. I'm now stuck on a 24 months contract with a phone that I cannot use 4g on!!! Its safe to say that I will NEVER be using Vodafone EVER again!! If they continue to treat their loyal customers this way they won't have many left. Onecom and Vodafone = AVOID AT ALL COSTS. They are just a money grabbing corporation!!

The Vodafone customer services department used to be all fine and good until I left the country to travel abroad for business. I had only recently canceled my Pay monthly contract to switch to PAYG, as I was aware I would be out of the country for a very long time, but wanted to keep my Vodafone SIM and number. Then all the trouble began. First I noticed I could neither make nor receive calls or even recharge my SIM, which had been blocked and several attempts to get through to Vodafone left me constantly getting the following message: "We're currently experiencing extremely high call volumes Sorry for any inconvenience. Why not speak to an adviser online using Live Chat? Alternatively you can get help and advice using the My Vodafone app or our support site, or by logging in to your account." A Live Chat service which always seemed to carry the message: "Live help back shortly. Try again shortly." And whenever I, by some miracle did get through, I was tossed from department to department and the problem was never solved, until I finally got through to someone who told me my number had been "retired" (deactivated), and there was nothing I could do to get it back. So annoyed and disappointed at a Vodafone customer services department that used to be so helpful.

Been dealing with Vodafone since start of August and now nearly October and the issue is still ongoing, terrible if you ask me!! They keep passing me around to different people, telling me someone will call me back but never does, I'm the one always chasing them! Disgraceful customer service

In a nutshell Phone broke 17th August, promised new one in store 1st September, didn't turn up. Promised new phone 11th September, didn't turn up basic answer was "tough, you'll have to wait." After 4 hour web chat and phone call ( yes 4 hours) with "customer service" promised new phone would be delivered to my home address on 15th September, after staying in for 10 hours for delivery, no phone and no explanation. New phone promised in store today, guess what? no phone. Store manager told me it was nothing to do with Vodafone it was the repair company! Only given 1 star because I have to. This is, by some distance the worst "customer service" I have ever encountered.

Vodafone have by far the WORST customer service I have ever experienced - do not go to them!!! I've spent hours and hours (probably days) on hold waiting to speak to someone - even their 'live chat' function is less than useless - and then when you finally do get through they fob you off saying they will speak to a manager and call/text you back with more details.. Of course they never do. So you end up in a vicious cycle of spending another day on hold, rinse, repeat. Unless you will never need any support or help with your contract DO NOT GO TO VODAFONE. It's not worth the hassle.

It is a shame that they cannot be awarded zero. Vodafone is the most appalling company I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. My phone stopped working over a year ago, the report said it was water damage, the only water it had been near was in my pocket, and I promise I did not wee myself! They would not replace the set, the phone didn't work so I have had the pleasure of paying for a service that they didn't give me for over a year. I tried to cancel my contract today, I spoke to 5 different people and still have not been able to cancel it yet, I will try again tomorrow. To say they are con merchants is to under egg the pudding, they are the equivalent of the highway robber of olden days, and should end up the same way as Dick Turpin, buried in York!

Vodafone Coverage is Appalling - Princess Royal Hospital Locksbottom, near Farnborough Absolutely zero coverage at the Princess Royal Hospital Locksbottom, near Farnborough. My mother is in Hospital there and it is impossible to call my family with my mobile to update them on her progress. Not to mention they are unable to call me due to the non existant coverage. For Vodafone not to have any coverage at all in a London borough NHS Hospital is totally unacceptable, and shows what a useless mobile phone company they are.

I have been with Vodaphone for two years, I took out an Iphone 4 with 8 GB that they sold me for £54 a month!!! Not knowing much about phones, I took it and have never been as disgusted with customer service!! I'm finally at the end of my 24 month contract and cannot speak to anyone to cancel my contract, it is IMPOSSIBLE to speak to someone over the phone. I never have 3G anywhere, nevermind 4G as I was told. Literally such a waste of time and money, its a wonder how they're still a company. Worst phone experience EVER.

Absolutely dreadful, I was leaving Vodafone due to constant lies and miscommunication over an upgrade I wanted. The upgrade was a month lat and upon several attempts at finding out what is going on, one advisor told me that it would be delivered that day, despite no communication from vodafone or courier. The phone never arrived kept being told few more days. I ended up cancelling, my whole contract but waited till the actual termination before using the Pak code. I needed an updated pak code, potentially 10 mins tops once in the right department. I kid you not, I spent 4 hours was transferred 7 times from billing to cancellations and back, no one could give me a Pam code. It's ridiculous. Stay away!!!!

Incorrect billing. Charged my business account, for someone else phone number. Never got a refund. You ring them and you are on hold for 2/3 hours at a time. So, I have written to the Chairman three times. Jeroen Hoencamp. Each time I get a letter back asking me to ring them. Stupid pointless Company. Recently, cut my phones off for not paying the bill. Which they failed to collect via DD. Confirmed by the bank. After a 2.5 hour phone call, I realised that they have been billing me incorrectly. So. Unless I pay the bill. They will not realise my telephone numbers. But I am able to prove that the billing is incorrect. Utterly useless.

hands down the worst company i have ever dealt with. customer care are just plain liars, and that's if you can get hold of someone, so all round bad that i simply have not got the time to list the many many bad things about them, if this review stops one poor soul from taking a contract with these pirates then i am happy. if you are thinking of going with this company save yourself a lot of heart ache and money and go with anyone but these. they are in a league of their own when it comes to disgusting service AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!! A YOGURT POT AND STRING WOULD BE BETTER THAN THIS TRULY AWFUL COMPANY

Vodafone is a communication company bent on reaping people off. After paying off vodafone and cancelling my contract, was charge another fee from the air. Gave my details to drs to disturb my life. Always overcharging me that I got scared to use the line. Paid 168 pounds in a month, infact of u love ur life, dont dare using Vodafone.

Only go with Vodafone if you can tolerate them removing a lot of money from your bank account for several months. Some people could loose their home if what Vodafone has done to us happened to them! After getting 3 upgrades with them in June they have basically helped themselves to money out of our account ever since. one withdrawal alone was for nearly £300. we have called them at least 15 times which last approx. 1.5 hours a time whilst we repeat what has happened again and again. The phone calls always end up with apologies and the promise to refund the money they have STOLEN and its never shows up. I get that companies make mistakes but 3 months of calls and promises and 2 visits to store and they still have our money. This is totally unacceptable and if anyone else took money from someone without their permission it would be call theft! The worse thing of all I queried the bills before the 1st payments were even taken and was assured by Vodafone that it was an error and no money would be taken from our account. Lies Vodafone Lies!

I have just been in your Beverley shop . I was helped by two very polite and friendly young men. I am an elderly lady so only use my phone for texting and calling. They soon sorted my queries out evening ringing my phone to make sure it was alright . You have got some very good staff in those two young men . Many thanks Mrs Smart

Vodafone are the most dreadful company I have ever had to deal with. Someone has cloned my account and I am in the U.S. For a couple of months and no one can help me and then they have hung up on me after being on hold for two hours trying to sort out more mistakes that someone has made on my account. I have worked in the service industry and can not believe they can get away with treating people like this. I would avoid them at all costs your sanity is more important than a mobile phone.

Had a recent upgrade and been promised £26.17 including VAT, 3 months on and l am paying £35!! First phone that l had send out was faulty, and had a replacement send instead, but been charged TWICE £40 x 2 months!!! I got my upgrade on the 31st of the June, but VODAFONE decided to make my contract and charge me from 13th of the same month!!! And that's not all.., when l called 'customer service' of this disgraceful company and spoke to number of South African assistants for 4 hours, l had a refund issued for me, amount of £63.73 instead of £82.21, reference nr IN01432023115 Of course when l checked my account, refund wasn't paid in full and my contract still remains £35 a month instead of £26.17!!!! I will make sure that this is going to be passed around all over the internet and EVERYONE knows about incompetence of this company!!!!

There are so many terrible reviews for Vodafone that I'm sure they have given up on trying to address them in any meaningful way. They're just relying on the fact that new customers will care more about the deals they are offering than the reviews which demonstrate their inability to provide what they are offering. I took on a contract thinking that Id be ok because if there were any problems I could cancel it in the 14 day cooling off period. There was a problem and I did cancel it. But Vodafone reinstated it against my wishes and now I'm being billed for an inactive number. Call centre staff drop calls, divert them and do anything to avoid the issue going to a manager. I've never been able to speak to a manager. I believe there is a paddock behind Vodafone HQ where they graze like anxious unicorns in ill-fitting high street branded suits.

Customer service is rubbish. Charges appear on the bill for no reason, and are false. Data usage occurs when the phone is switched off ! and ou cant cap it ! Vodafone is crap do not use they are crooks

Vodafone is a disgrace to phone networks. I am a very unsatisfied customer who has been struggling with Vodafone on a two year contact. Oh the joy. I have had many problems AND THEIR "HELPLINE" SERVICES CAUSE ME STRESS AND I HAVE HAD TO BE ON MEDICATION BECAUSE OF THIS. (A bit of an over exaggeration) Yes Vodafone may have good deals. That's about the only good thing they have going for them but by the end of the day it's about which network can be the most helpful, useful and pleasant going. Something Vodafone doesn't seem to do. I would have given this 0 stars if I could, but evidently you cant as mine wouldn't have the single star. After ordering a phone, my phone arrives with 2 sim cards... neither of them capable of actually providing me with the Vodafone network service... If I wanted a lame phone I would have brought a brick phone nokia; at least they don't bend. If Vodafone continues to not provide customers with the deals and policies as promised then they will quickly loose their customers and which phone company will want to take Vodafone... (except for no one). VODAFONE PICK YOURSELVES UP AND ACTUALLY HELP YOUR DAMN CUSTOMERS! Seriously! You say "power to you" but you hold it all and expect your customers to irrationally wait on the phone as you give pointless suggestions (like we hadn't thought of that before) and then put us on hold to the most insulting music of every generations that has lived on earth. Your service makes me envy those who had no knowledge of the telephone and had to write letters instead; so this has urged me to write a review instead. A bad one amongst the many who aren't fond of Vodafone just like I am. However, just like in movies where there is a 75% chance of a happy ending I guess I shall end on this lighter note then I started off with. If Vodafone actually picked up it's network, like helping it's customers and having their services on point (like all mobile networks do anyway...) with the good deals and if chosen to improve the network then Vodafone would be an excellent mobile network provider and would give others a run for their money. (I'm guessing something that hasn't been done in a long time.) Well my comments may never be read or even seen by a fellow Vodafoneian I hope that change within the network will quickly advance because this network could be great once again - but until then enjoy dealing with these many unpleased customers (including myself) and have a great day.

Awful awful awful. Waiting 2 weeks for an upgrade. After 10 hours on hold listening to James bay singing over and over on hold I am leaving them. Over a decade of me being loyal and they treat you like dirt, customer service is non existent. DO NOT GO To THEM!!!
