As explained in my earlier review, I will update whether the cooker will be delivered. Guess what, I received a phone call 10 mins before 7, stating they cant deliver. Infact, they offered to drop the cooker off tomorrow but will not instal and will not be able to take my old cooker. We've paid for all of this. I cant believe its been a month since we ordered the cooker 3 days of waisted time and wage loss. It has been extremely frustrating. We literally feel at a loss. Argos claim to doing something but clearly no seems to be able to take action or help us out. I feel like I've been robbed.

Dear! Today at 19:50 in Argos ( OMNI ) Dublin Ireland u buy Philips OneBlade 918/9290 and after 30 min come back to change for expensive Panasonic, reason this is not product wat i want and wat i explain to staff. Because product is bean open but not use, its not possible because i can't go, shave my self and come back in 30 min:) Staff call manager (Liam), and he tell me that he see its not ben use, but he can't take for replacement because its open?! Than when i want explain wat is happen, same manager start be a rude and accuse me front of my 13 years old daughter that I'm i aggressive, and i threatening he's staff, abuse etc.. And that's a notron lie.. What is very stressful on my daughter and me, and than finally he call a security on my and my 13 years daughter... After that reaction i start call hem with bad words, only because i be a in provocate and try defend my daughter from that crazy situation! Only wat i want is change that one for another one, that is it... Now i gonna be a force to take legal actions against same ARGOS company, my daughter still crying, still not sleep, because she think that GARDA is gonna arest uss, and she is upset and in morning i must bring hear at doctor because of this! I don't want regular explanation from manager staff, because staff is gonna say wat hem want, i want you investigated this problem, remote a camera system and i want to Manager Liam apologize in person to me and my daughter. Sorry on bad news, because people like Liam your company come on bad reputation! With respect Pero

I cannot believe I had another waisted day waiting around for a cooker to be delivered. The first one was due to be delivered on the 16th nov and was told the cooker was damaged and will need to organise another date. I had to wait until 2nd January. I've waited all day again, no phone call, no cooker. I'm now waiting for tomorrow. Let's see what happens. Will update. Lost income for two days Appalling. Argos used to be good but they have lost sense of customer skills.

Ordered a freezer which was due to be delivered between 9.30 and 11.30,so took all the frozen goods out of the old one and cleared it out of ice (for removal) as instructed by 9.30...come 12 o'clock not even the phone call to say that they were an hour away as promised. Eventually managed to contact Argos who seemed less than interested. Finally at 12.30 the delivery driver rang to say that they were 30 mins. away..only,I suspect, because I'd been in contact with Argos Office. Wouldn't have cared if they were late if it wasn't for the fact that it was a freezer so there was a reasonable chance that I expected the delivery time to be honoured due to food defrosting. Even if someone had rung to say that they were running late...fair enough, but to just leave people in the dark or battling for an answer from their "enquiries" dept. is unacceptable.

Bought some wireless headphones in store. They stopped working in less than 2 weeks. The specific product had no online support on their website. So I spoke to their customer service, providing lots of information around the circumstances of the purchase but making it clear I didn't have a receipt. They wouldn't help me unless they could categorically prove I'd purchased the item from them. Which, if they'd shown any interest in what the product was, they'd have been able to verify easily. So, for all the time I spend defending brick and mortar retailers (even ones like this who are attempting to monopolise what's left of the post Amazon market) they still end up leaving a bitter taste. When a product is faulty, you go out of your way to help. Never again - my Argos card now torn up in favour of AO.com or similar.

Why is it that my local Argos store has no disabled accessibility policy? All I wanted was for my Mam who is in a wheelchair to be able to see the catalogue but not only was it impossible for her to do so because of the height of the counters but the manager told me in no uncertain and very loud terms why it was not her job to ensure this. All that was needed was a paper copy of the catalogue to rest on my Mam's knee but it seems in this digital age that was a no no and again the Manager told me loud and clear in front of the entire store why it was never going to happen! Absolutely appaling customer service

Drove to a store 5 miles away to collect an item I'd reserved and been told was ready to collect, only to be told they'd made a mistake. This was made worse by spending an hour on the Argos Live Chat with a 'helper' who offered me nothing except a standard apaology and a hostile attitude.

Only used Argos because I wanted the item next day, only found out later the item is not in stock and would have to wait about 7days. Too late to cancel it I could have brought the item online for a few pounds less and had it delivered to my door, but i didn't want to wait. Why people use Argos beats me!

Poor delivery service. I received an email notifying me of my delivery slot which was from 10:00-13:00. I waited the whole day to accept my delivery. I received an email at 17:30 stating they were unable to deliver my parcel and will rearrange my delivery. They did not provide no explanation as to why they were unable to deliver my parcel and did not message me till almost 5 hours AFTER my delivery slot!

Poor delivery service, they class 1 hour notice as 10 minutes notice or anything upto an hour, I already waited a month for delivery, now a need to wait another week and waste another day because they drive didn't have the curtousy to wait, he didn't even knock on the door, just waited for a phone reply. Really poor customer service, they have no value for customer satisfaction and time. Argos standards have gone down, they might as well Brexit.

Argos as a retail shop not bad. Refused to pay out payment protection insurance after clearly mis-selling. Reason for rejection simply because this organisation was not regulated until January 2005. Had a loan in 2004 paperwork clearly shows mis-selling. Will never step foot in an Argos store again. Strongly suggest no customer should touch any financial product from this company.

When the charger of my phone went wrong after 5 months Argos were useless and didn't resolve the problem. You never know how good a company is until something goes wrong and then its too late.

I have been trying to buy the Cookworks meat slicer but unfortunately due to Christmas it hasn’t been in stock for a while, so whilst I was shopping at the Fareham branch yesterday I enquired as to when it would be in stock again and the girl told me there was one in Crawley so I decided to reserve it and drive to collect. I got up early as it’s approx 65 miles away and drove to collect it. On my return I unpacked it to use it and found that firstly the box was hand taped which told me it had already been opened and when I took it out of the box it had pieces of meat and meat residue all over it, I felt and still feel absolutely disgusted. It could have poisoned myself and my family. I looked online for a complaints number only to find there isn’t one or email address. I called one of the numbers online and the guy thought it quite amusing and tried to connect me to my local store which I never got through to as the line dropped so I drove to local store and all the manager was worried about was how much fuel I’d used incase they refunded too much not the fact that the item had been used to cut raw meat, returned and sold on to me at full price. This could have made somebody seriously ill or worse and now I can’t talk to anybody to get satisfaction, I have to write a physical letter and then maybe I might get a reply. Think the best thing to do is go to the papers, someone should be held accountable for this. Disgusting attitude.

My husband purchased what he thought was a new laptop for me for Xmas, (we are not tech savvy) and as a result he purchased a Chromebook. We took it back to the store, we were not looking for a refund, we were looking to upgrade to a Windows 10 laptop. Store refused on the basis that the seal on the box had been broken, despite the refund/exchange policy on the reverse of the receipt. Will never use Argos again

Poor delivery communication . Failed to arrive on first nominated day, we were then told the item would be delivered two days later between 7-11 am. Nothing arrived by 1. 30pm so I rang and Was told they weren't going to deliver my item that day as it had been returned and re sold, and was now out of stock! Very poor service and time and money wasted.

Local store tried to sell faulty returned goods as new. It had a Argos seal on box join. Upon getting it home found instructions were missing and the device did not work and after ages on the phone with product support, they said the item was faulty so it would not connect.

Tried to buy a cooker, paid for it to then be told it was permanently unavailable. Refused a refund and told to just use it as credit to randomly buy something else. Ended up having to borrow money so we could buy a more expensive cooker, so our money was not just wasted. Cooker was delivered missing a part so can not be installed. After 6 calls and 2 emails a part was sent. Part was ordered on 11th Dec, arrived 24th Dec. Was the wrong part. No surprise again from Argos. So xmas ruined, sandwich or microwave meal for the family at xmas.

Just had a Candy dishwasher delivered… Just had a Candy dishwasher delivered for Christmas, unpacked it to find the bottom smashed in! Argos unhelpful and want to collect 28th December despite the drivers being 6 miles away! Child like staff on the phone, awful company, don't buy white goods from Argos as they are a poor company with shocking delivery drivers and poor customer services.

I needed a product replacement for a faulty foot stool that’s wooden leg has become loose. A collection and delivery was arranged for 20/12/19 since argos couldn’t replace the leg alone. I received 3 consecutive phone calls from an Argos delivery driver asking for directions on how to find my road. He told me he was in the area but could not find “the road”. When I called him he said he was “nearly three”. Nearly there turned into 10 mins. If he was where he said he was it would’ve taken him 2 mins. When I tried calling him again he didn’t answer his phone. He never showed up. Understandably, I was livid. He’d lied to me and didn’t have the courtesy to apologise for his own stupidity and incompetence. I called customer service and explained the situation, but was told that my order was still out for delivery despite the stupid delivery driver going awol. I tried to reschedule another date but was told to call the next day. I did and was told no dates were available and Argos would give me a call once dates were available. But I know they’re fobbing me off because I made a formal complaint. They even tried to say there was nothing they could do for me because it exceeded 30 days. I can’t go in store to sort it out because I am sick and disabled. Having to deal with these robots in customer service has caused me emotional distress to the point where I haven’t eaten since yesterday. I will never shop from here again. There are better, more reliable stores with products that actually are in stock and they don’t try to sell you torn boxes and used rejected products either.
