Ordered a I phone 7 plus for my sons xmas pressie ordered a sim free phone had a confirmation email with order number...... waited in on supposed day of delivery left it until the next day before ringing to see why the phone hadn't been delivered only to be told they didn't have a record of my order and was advised the phone came back into stock the day before and was now sold out again...... can't understand how u can have a confirmation via email and a order number and they haven't got a record of it or is it just they would have rathered give the phone I ordered to someone who is paying a hefty contract bill for 2 years instead....... had the phone put down on me while ringing to try and see what had happened with my order...... now in a situation when my son has got his heart set on the phone and it's out of stock everywhere...... would never use car phone warehouse again as long as I live

I work for currys pcworld in harlow essex,today (my day off)I decided to take up the offer of a phone upgrade,I went to my local carphone in store where I work,the customer service from Donald was 2nd to none,5/5 or even 10/10.I was treated as a customer not an employee,Donald showed excellent qualities,and had answers to all my questions. So again well done Donald and we'll done carphone, I am extremely happy.????????????.Please feel free to pass message onto harlow (queensgate )store.

I purchased 2 iphone 6s phones with vodafone as the network provider. Phones received but no contract. A couple of days later i received 2 letters from vodafone which said i had 1 gb data I rang carphone and they said the deal was for 6gb and that there was an issue with vodafone systems on black friday. I contacted vodafone and they said it was carphone system problem. I asked both companies for a copy of my contract . Carphone sent me a letter which showed details of my 2 phones but nothing about the vodafone deal. I have subsequently spoken with several staff at carphone and get the same answer which is vodafone provide this. i have contacted citizens advice and they in turn contacted trading standards and they have confirmed that carphone was where i purchased the deal therefore they have to provide me with a contract for the full deal including vodafone package. To not do this would be seen as unlawful and as such carphone would be seen to be acting in an illegal manner and could be prosecuted. They then gave me the contact number for communications ombudsmen. i explained the situation to them and they confirmed that carphone should be the company who provides me with the full contract details. They work with vodafone so put me through to their specialist team. They checked my contract and from what they could see i only get 5gb for one month only not for the duration of the contract which is 24 months. They sent me this via text so i that i could pass this onto carphone. Guess what carphone were adamant that my contract was for 6 gb for the entire 24 mths but couldn't send me details ,i would have to wait 3 - 5 working days to get a copy of this. As i had already waited 4 working days with only a letter showing what phones i had purchased then i did not believe the full contract will be forthcoming. i also explained that as a company it was a legal requirement to provide me with a contract covering the full aspect of the deal and that they were therefore being unlawful but this just fell on deaf ears. i am now on my 5th working day and still no contract received.Do i think i will get a contract "NO" , do i think carphone care in the slightest "NO" , do vodafone care that this is happening to customers who take out deals on their network "NO" if they did then they would be making moves to tell carphone to sort this or stop them forthwith from being a third party provider. i even said to the carphone staff as my letter only shows i purchased 2 phones and nothing else then i must not have a contract deal with vodafone therefore i will keep the phones and they can sort the rest out with vodafone as i do not have a contract with them. Still no response .Inept does not go far enough to say how poor carphone are. All they do in customer services is listen to your complaint but they cannot do anything to assist because they do not have access , everything goes to their back office (admin ) who do absolutely nothing except drink tea, eat cake , paint their nails and talk about sport or reality tv and at the end of the day have a discussion about whether or not they will do any work tomorrow. QUESTION WHAT WOULD BE EASIER TO PROVIDE A :- A copy of a contract from carphone warehouse which covers both phones and the network package they provided as part of the deal . or B A free flight to the moon , including a space walk and One Million pounds ANSWER You may need time to think about this and after great deliberation come up with the correct answer which is. Yes you knew it all the time !!! BBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBB The CEO should be disgusted but he's out playing golf and his phone doesn't work (got it from carphone warehouse ) and now stuck with it. Should have read the details in his contract . Oops !! he couldn't as he didn't get one. What a silly billy !! CARPHONE WAREHOUSE THEY DO NOT OFFER CONTRACTS TO CUSTOMERS SO ARE WORKING IN AN UNLAWFUL MANNER. AFTER 14 DAYS YOU ARE STUFFED SO PLEASE STAY WELL CLEAR. So if you are thinking of getting a phone from carphone warehouse "DON'T" !!!!!! DON'T !!!!!!! DON'T !!!!!! DON'T !!!!!!! DON'T !!!!!! DON'T !!!!!!! DONT !!!!!!! DON'T !!!!!!! DON'T !!!!!! Bought a deal two years ago, all was fine until i needed their help. I asked to unlock my mobile and they directed me to my network. My network said that they only provided contact not phone and to go back to carphone warehouse. Now two weeks down the line no one wants to help!!!! I even contacted sony who produced the mobile but they need a letter with header from CW to confirm that they cant help. Unfortunately call centres cant send anything, apparently have no facilities, but they do if you want new contract!!!!! What really enoyed me was the CW wrote on their website that the network provider will help , when in fact they knew that network provider will have no codes to hand!! all just a bit lie!!!

Hello My complain is regards a service at one of the CarphoneWarehouse in Sheffield . Consultant Jermaine On 28/11/16 I'm came to the CW to buy a new smartphone on a pay as go offer, I've seen that offer on the website. When I pasted doors yours store I been take by on of the CW consultant his name was JERMAINE. He asked my what Im looking for, I said Im looking for the new handset for pay as go and the handset what I want to go is Huawai P9Lite, He asked my if I want to take on contract. I said no I don't want this smartphone on contract cause I have one all ready and this smartphone is for my wife. He said this phone is not on promotion, but its was because was a promotion price on. He said If I will take this msartphone on pay as go will be lock on one of the network(but on the website its nothing said abut lock on network), I said its okay. He asked what colour I want to have, I said Pink Gold and he said to my why don't have that colour to sell and He gone to back room. I been wait for Him about 15 min.After this time he back an asked me WHY IM STILL HIRE? Im said what? You asked my WHY IM HIRE really I want to by this smartphone? He was fore me very very unpleasant. He take me to the till with angry face. scan box and sim card. and He said only how much to pay and nothing else. He asked my for my details Im told him them all with the postcode. He told my amount to pay, I give hem this amount, and He said that everything ? But Im said wow but where is receipt? I need one right. He what for ? I cause I need to guaranty etc. He okay I will send you to your email.I said to hem, but you don't have my email because you did int ask for it. he its okay I will print for you one. I thx you for this. He fold receipt and put in to box. When I back home and look on receipt, He don't use the details what I give him. even on that receipt its no address. After all this summary my opinion about all service is awful, the people what they work in that store don't have experience special Mr JERMAINE. This consultant its not friendly and not helpful . I will past my service experience to all my friends. I'm very disappointed.

I wouldn't even give this 1 star. First of all, (this is not the worst part of it all!!) I ordered a new phone and contract from them around mid september, 2016. it was going to be delivered with a "next day delivery" service. wrong. A week later no sign of it showing up. No email, phonetical, text or letter to tell me why it was late, so I rang up and asked why, they told me it was out of stock and it would arrive in a few days, also wrong! it arrived two weeks after ordering it! The worst part of it all.... I inserted my sim and noticed after 24 hours the sim was't working. and till this day - even after 2 and a half MONTHS - it still has not been sorted!!! TWO AND A HALF MONTHS!!!! I contacted vodafone two days after receiving the phone to ask why it wasn't working, so they refreshed it several times. I kept asking vodafone to connect my sim for weeks to no avail. The phone was faulty as i found out even a new sim swap did not work so since then I have been contacting carphone warehouse in all these customer service ways and they still have not refunded me, swapped my phone or given me any compensation. -calling carphone warehouse -gone into a carphone warehouse shop - Emailing carphone warehouse -emailing complaints to carphone warehouse -tweeting carphone warehouse -messaging carphone warehouse on twitter and Facebook All they have managed to tell me is to contact vodafone to activate my sim, and do a sim swap. TWO AND A HALF MONTHS AND MY PHONE IS STILL FAULTY.

The worst service I have ever experienced. Faulty handset, was told I could exchange by customer service(in South Africa) only for guy in store to be unable to process. He spoke to same people and said they would sort it and let me know by phone. I was called withing ten minutes of leaving and told I'd have to call customer service again. When I did they denied this ever happened. Three months later I accepted a repair only to have my phone returned smashed up. They then said I was getting an exchange only for me to go in to pick up exchange and be told it wasn't there. This is very much short version and included being told by an annoying south African woman I was imagining all of it. It actually defies belief that people can be so contrived and dishonest over a mobile phone. Worst retailer EVER!

Checked website which said Blackberry Priv was in stock at Carphone Warehouse in Currys PC World store in Northwich. Went to store to be told they had none in stock and hadn't had for several months. A wasted journey and now very annoyed.

I ordered a sim only from phone car phone warehouse and several days later it had still not arrived. I phoned to chase and they said there was a warehouse problem but it will now come out. Again, days followed and nothing had turned up, bearing in mind this was only a SIM card not a £400 pound phone, it's not rocket science posted first class post! Deciding this was not worth pursuing I phoned and said let's forget it and thought this would be the end of it. But then then letters arrived saying I hadn't paid my bill followed by debt collectors letters. Fortunately, the lady at the debt collectors I spoke to must have believed me because nothing else followed. A true story.

I was promised by a store manager that I will be getting refunded for the early termination fee that was raised by EE for the Note 7. This hole process has now taken so long to sort out I paid the amount of £681.39 to EE aim fear of it effecting my credit history so now I'm stuck I can not pay my credit card bill till all this gets sorted out. I got a bill of £681.39 due to their negligence.

I bought a £640 Samsung S7 Edge and within 3 months the screen shows a bright pink line down it. After asking for assistance I've been told I have to send it for repair despite Samsung telling me there is no stock of parts so it cannot be repaired. As such I need to be without a phone for 28 days before CarphoneWarehouse will acknowledge they need to refund me. During my conversations with them I've been told their policy supersedes the Consumer Rights Act. I've been refused the option to speak to a manager. I've been promised return calls that never happened.. When I tried to leave an honest review about my experience on their website, the moderators blocked it. There were no swear words and it was entirely true but they censored it anyway.

After three weeks of waiting for my new upgrade, and repeated phoning and being told it was out of stock, when in fact after the third phone call and being passed around for 20mins i find that the order was never completed in the first place! AVOID THIS COMPANY!

Worst customer service ever, ordered 3 phones on their Black Friday deals, when I came to check out told could not order more than 2 at a time, decided to order one first as it was for my sons the birthday then made a separate order for 2 more other sons Xmas present and upgrade for partner, 1st phone arrived next day and all appeared OK until confirmation letter from Vodafone arrived which showed I was only getting 1GB of data instead of the 6GB in the deal, contacted customers services twice got cut off before spending 25 mins on the phone to someone who was clearly a call taker and not had any customer services training whatsoever , after giving the usual details and being put on hold was told that a lot of customers had experienced the same issue and they would log a issue with Vodafone which would be resolved in 3-5 working days and I would have to contact Vodafone then to see if it had been resolved (basically carphone warehouse washed their hands of it) next after waiting 3 days the other 2 phones hadn't arrived so I contacted customer sales to be told the order had been declined the excuse was that Vodafone policy is to not allow further sales of their products for 90 days after the first sale, what a load of rubbish! and worse still they were never going to contact me to tell me I had to chase them, basically I believe they didn't want to honour any more Black Friday deals but can't prove that, I was able to secure alternative but less attractive deals (as they couldn't honour the Black Friday deals as they had expired) as a sweetener they said they would send an additional memory card and a case for the phone (worth about £20 allegedly) the phones and the memory eventually arrived but no case, as part of my call to their customer services I mentioned this thinking they would just send one out, oh no they went one better they said they would credit my account so I could go into store and get it myself! what a joke I have to make a special trip to pick up something that should have been posted to me, when I pointed out (as politely as possible) that their customer services was the poorest I had experienced (coincidentally since i had the misfortune to have to deal with Talk Talk who are owned by yes you've guessed it Carphone Warehouse!) the customer services lady said she had "done the best she could" well if that is their best then heaven help us, I am stuck with these contracts for 24 months but one thing is for sure I will definitely NOT be using Carphone warehouse again they do not deserve my custom. PS I bet no one responds to this review because they don't care :D

bought a samsung galaxy s7 edge only 3 months ago from Carphone Warehouse. the phone went wrong (would not do anything), turns out to be a hardware fault. Carphone Warehouse could not have cared less, to the degree that the sales girl was not just unhelpful, she was patronizing bordering on rude, still you tend to expect that from the Hempstead Valley Branch of this really useless company, even though i bought the items from them and they arranged the telecom contract, they simply did not want to know. I then thought about the experience and started to wonder what was the point of carphone warehouse in the first place, if you want a phone go directly to the manufacturer online, its easy to do now, if you want a telecoms contract go to the network yourself (the deals you get directly are often better). because after you have bought a phone from Carphone Warehouse you will have to go to them anyway if you have any problems. Carphone warehouse are a waste of time and money, have no value whatsoever, do yourself a favor avoid at all costs.

DO NOT HAVE A PHONE ON VODAFONE .my sister purchased a phone on the Sunday after trying it realised she couldn't use it .it was a apple I phone and she's 71 .so on the Monday took it back to the shop on festival park hanley .and they said there was a no exchange policy for Vodafone. So basically saying hard luck your stuck with a 2 year contract with a phone you can't use .bearing in mind she only lost her husband 6 months ago .so she's very confused at times this has upset her very much .

I purchased a phone which should of had 15 pounds credit with it. The credit was not there so I purchased another 15 pounds of credit so I could use the phone.I called carphone warehouse the next day and was told I had to wait 48 hrs to et the credit I had purchased with the phone.It may be naïve of me but maybe they should tell you this when you receive the phone so now I have two lots of 15 pound credit.WTF.

The worst company to deal with, ever!!! Took money off my card but didn't deliver the phone on time for my sons birthday, still chasing to find the parcel! On hold forever, called 5 times, got cut off twice! They never think to call back customer when they cut them off! Disaster company!! Never again, I'll pay extra to go to mobile company that knows what customer service means!!

I purchased an Iphone7 from Carephowne Warehouse on 26 November taking advantage of their Black Friday promotion. The order was acknowledged and I was expecting to receive the phone on Monday 28 November. I called Carephone Warehouse the following day (as the phone did not arrive) to find out that my order was cancelled due to a "Fraud Check". The support team could not explain what the Fraud Check was about as I was purchasing a sim free handset using my own card (and my bank authorized the payment). Carephone Warehouse informed me that I can buy the handset again, however, I will not be able to take advantage of the Black Friday discount anymore. I think this is unacceptable since the company did not inform me about the declined transaction (otherwise I would have purchased the phone elsewhere at the weekend). I was not able to speak to any decision-maker and was asked to send my complaint via email, which I feel is unacceptable.
